It was our first time, but definitely not our last. We had a delicious meal and would definitely recommend it again. Convenient, all-you-can-eat and drink service for a fixed price. The service is very friendly, and the food is delicious. Ordered again today, for the first time at home. The delivery driver politely called when he was on his way. Super helpful!

The quality was once good. Enjoyed ordering there and sometimes eating there too. However, the last four times I ordered dehydrated satay and babi pangang from the monthly menu. In addition, the last two times, what was ordered has not been delivered and people have all kinds of "excuses" to justify things instead of ensuring correct handling.

Ordered sushi from Bonsai, as it's always been good in the past. Waited over an hour and a half. The phone number was constantly busy (on purpose?). The food, unfortunately, wasn't anything to write home about either. The edamame beans were a bit mealy and, judging by the color, had been reheated several times. The gyoza was cold. The sushi had a lot of frills (sauce, etc.), but was limp and not very flavorful. I paid extra for ginger, which came in two mini containers (which other restaurants include). The same goes for the wasabi. All in all, due to the wait and the quality, it wasn't the sushi evening I was hoping for. I think that was the last time I had it at Bonsai.

Poor quality eel sushi. It looked like it only had eel skin on it. No ginger, soy sauce, or horseradish was included. After contacting them, the operator claimed he added it himself. Sorry, but I get an error message. Fed up with Bonsai's quality and service.

This is really the worst experience I have ever had! And that goes for the food and the service!!!! I ordered 9-6 at this “business” and this is what I got. The sushi was fried in dough that I have never seen before. It did not look good and was inedible. Not at all what I saw in the picture. There was also a sauce on it that was not described. I called the business and got a very unfriendly man on the line who did not speak the language well, he said that this is just how they make it and kept insisting. I said that I did not get what I expected, the man said that he would investigate this and call me back as soon as possible. 15 minutes later I called back myself and when he heard which order it was about, he hung up. After that I tried to call several more times, but the man had disconnected the line!!! The business was simply no longer reachable by phone. I think this says enough about the busyness of this business! If you had received many orders you would not have been able to disconnect the phone line. These people are super antisocial, do NOT order here!!! They are scammers!!! I couldn't eat the sushi it was so bad and I had to throw it away!!

We have been ordering here regularly for the past few years. Often the same. Always been good...until tonight. The Chicken Teriyaki rolls are normally very large and well filled, now they were 3x as small for 15 euros. And the crispy rolls suddenly had cucumber, but this is not in the description. Called to explain that this was not correct, the gentleman on the phone could not really follow me and so I asked for a manager. It turned out that I already had him on the line. He did not agree with me and refused to speak to me any further. I then drove there and handed in my order there. I will hopefully get my money back via Thuisbezorgd. Never again...

We order from you regularly and are usually very satisfied with the quality and punctuality of the delivery. The sushi is always tasty and of good quality. However, with our last order on Nov 23rd. we were less satisfied. We requested delivery at 6pm, but the order didn't arrive until 6:50pm. We understand that the weather was bad, but a delay of almost an hour is a very long time. In addition, the hot dishes were lukewarm and the bapi pangang bacon was limp. The satay was very dry and the chicken noodles were missing. We ended up having to reheat the food in the microwave. We hope you can use this feedback to improve service and quality. We are happy to continue ordering from you, but hope for a better experience next time.

Always had a good meal and ordered food. Ordered again for a while now and was very disappointed. Ordered a quarter to 5. The order arrived at a quarter to 6. This was partly incorrect and missed the soup. Called and the person on the phone (friendly by the way), first asked whether I could leave the current order closed. But fortunately it turned out that they would do the right things in subsequent delivery. Tells me this will arrive in 30 to 45 minutes (roughly estimated). Called again after 50 minutes, barely got through the line, and seemed as if they had forgotten a bit... Na ci. Only received the 2nd part of the order in 60 minutes. Food is no longer what it used to be unfortunately, cold and chewy... Update, after exactly 1 hour of the backorder there will be another "backorder" that we already had, but with half of what the first backorder was 🤣....

Specially ordered early food (16:50) because we are a family with small children. The food took more than 1.5 hours to be delivered! No phone call or message that it would take longer, so I called myself. They accidentally hung up while calling, but after calling again no apologies ozd. The delivery person left the bag of food at the door without saying boo or bah, took my 50 euro note and wanted to walk away with it, to which I said I would get change back. "Oh, how much then?" Or if I could look at the receipt myself. Wow... Then the spring rolls are missing from the menu... This is something to laugh and cry at the same time.

I had to order by phone because I had a gift certificate, and they don't have codes to enter. The price is different from ordering online, more expensive. The rice, sushi, and foeyonghai, kuloekai nasi, everything was incredibly dry and tasteless. We regularly eat at Bonsai and the quality is always perfect. The atmosphere is super casual and relaxed, the service is very nice and you always get good help. The owner's enthusiasm is also extremely contagious; he always comes for a chat and asks if everything is okay. The quality of the sushi is really good, the fish is always fresh, the rice has a wonderfully creamy and smooth taste, the vegetables are fresh and crunchy and A-quality products are really used. (And you can really taste it!!) Think of real Japanese mayonnaise (Kewpie) and good quality masago. There is a wide range of different sushi rolls and also hot Chinese dishes. Something for everyone! The chimi yim squid and our favorite: the dragon roll are highly recommended! We really don't understand the negative reviews below; I therefore strongly recommend having dinner at Bonsai instead of ordering. What a luxury it is to have such a fantastic sushi restaurant so close in the Zaan region! We have eaten in many sushi restaurants, but Bonsai stands head and shoulders above the rest!

Not what we are used to from Bonsai. Ordered Sushi yesterday at 3:30 PM, requested delivery at 6:00 PM. Unfortunately it didn't arrive until 6:30 pm. Order was incorrect, wrong box delivered. No sticks, no soy, no ginger and wasabi. Called, lady on the phone was difficult to understand, in English, poor connection. She would still send the right box with chopsticks, soy and the rest. The new box was delivered around 7 p.m., but again no soy, sticks, etc., etc. The quality of the sushi wasn't great either. Unfortunately, next time another restaurant, previously it was a lot better at Bonsai.

Something went wrong with the delivery, but the delivery person was friendly. Already placed an order in the morning before 6:20 PM. At 7:00 PM no food and no update received, so I called, but there was no answer (several times). Ultimately, our food was delivered with a 45-minute delay. Then part of the order turned out to be missing, as well as the soy sauce and chopsticks. Then had to wait another 20-30 minutes. No apology or compensation from Bonsai. The kids really needed to go to bed, so we had to grab frozen pizza for them. Things were clearly out of control at Bonsai.

4 grote loempia speciaal besteld, al heel gedoe omdat die niet op de kaart staan ivm “slap” aankomen, uiteindelijk geregeld na prima service van de desbetreffende telefoniste! Bestelling zou geleverd worden na mail “bezorger onderweg” dit duurde en duurde en na gebeld te hebben om te vragen waar het bleef, te horen dat de bestelling was gevallen en dat ze nieuwe gingen maken, ik denk bel dan even om dat te vertellen ipv andersom, nu zit je ruim 20 minuten te wachten voor Jan je weet wel! Inmiddels tweede slechte ervaring na vorige keer koude nasi en bami te hebben ontvangen! Voorlopig laatste keer bonsai voor ons!

Een aardig sushi restaurant. Vriendelijk personeel. Toen het te druk werd, duurde het langer voor het eten kwam(of helemaal niet) Dit zal wellicht door personeelgebrek komen.

De laatste 2 keer kipsate erbij besteld, heeft sinds kort een overheersend specerij en ook de sausen hebben de zelfde aardse smaak. Helaas dit keer ook een haar in het eten. Dit is niet onze smaak ,wel jammer waren heel tevreden. Is er misschien iets veranderd het laatste half jaar????????

Eten was dit keer niet lekker. Vlees was taai, en de kipsaté had ook teveel vlieguren. We hebben een groot deel van de babi pangang en saté laten staan. Erg jammer. Wat ons ook opviel dat de bakjes kleiner waren 😱 Voorlopig even geen Bonsai.

Een paar keer met collega's langs geweest. Vrolijke en vriendelijke bediening en lekkere gerechten. En vaak thuis laten bezorgen. Beide zijn aan te raden. Afhalen kan uiteraard ook!
