Chinees-Indisch Specialiteiten Restaurant - De Mandarijn in Wijk 02 Nijmegen-Oost

The worst Chinese restaurant we have ever ordered and eaten at. Ordered 6 pieces of fried banana but had to pay for 8. The spring rolls with babi pangang were swimming in grease. Really very disgusting and we threw them away after a few bites. We were just passing through and therefore did not go back with the complaint. But, not recommended!!

I've been a customer for over twenty years. I always bring my own plastic bags to avoid burdening the environment. But this time, I couldn't use mine, and I was charged an extra 0.50 euros for a cup. She said these cups were expensive, but their actual cost price was only 0.02 euros. She was just trying to make an extra 0.48 euros under the guise of environmental protection and customer service. That's a very high profit margin, and she does this to almost all her customers. The problem isn't the amount of money, but the principle: treating (long-time) customers like fools for 0.48 euros is truly baffling. Ik ben al meer dan 20 jaar vaste klant. Neem zelf een plastic zakje mee. Om het belasten van milieu te voorkomen. wil gewoon € 0,48 cent verdienen over rug van het milieu en klant. Is nogal veel % winst bij bijna alle klanten doet ze dit. bemachtigen. Te triest

With the babi pangang, most of the pieces were burnt. A shame. Because normally that isn't the case.

The food I ordered was ready quickly, but clearly microwaved, and not for long enough. I live nearby, and it was cold immediately after serving. Very disappointed. I essentially spent 16 euros on crap. I therefore advise against going to this Chinese restaurant. I personally will boycott it.

I ordered food from here yesterday. When it arrived, the entire bag was full of satay sauce and babi pangang sauce. This was because I'd put the two satays (with skewers) in the same container as the babi pangang, which didn't fit. I also ate the wonton soup a day later, and there was a dead spider in it. So, not recommended.

Great takeaway, large portions. Good food. Homemade spring roll is delicious.

Food is fine, best Chinese Indian restaurant in the area. Is a bit run down but you have to look past that.

Ordered noodles and satay. The noodles were stuffed full in the container with the lid open. Cold noodles. In short, bad food. The interior also looked dirty. I will never go here again.

Explicitly ordered noodles without meat and egg, repeated up to 3 times, but when I got home they still had meat in them. Very disturbing and pointless to go back because then everything else is cold. Called and it doesn't go further than an apology. This is especially disturbing because I repeated it 3 times.

Average Chinese....Nothing really good, nothing bad.

Real Chinese takeaway. Food is good. Sometimes a long wait. Ordering by telephone is wise

More than fine as a Chinese takeaway! Through home delivery they sometimes do not have a delivery person available and the prices are much more expensive!

Ordered via home delivery at 8:23 PM and the order was canceled at 9:10 PM. Very mediocre because I was hungry.

We had a delicious meal again yesterday, takeout is always great! Friendly staff and see you next time again....

It has become much too expensive and there is less and less meat in the containers, the skewers are getting smaller, etc. Even when you get home, there is a dirty, wet mess.

Got spring rolls for 6 people. Were tasty again. Too bad it didn't come with sambal, maybe I should have asked for it?

When I'm in Nijmegen, we almost always get Chinese here. Even earlier when I studied in Nijmegen. Super tasty, large portions and very friendly people👍

My roommate & I really enjoyed it. Tonight we stood in front of a closed Albert Heijn (because of Good Friday). But this Chinese was a perfect solution! We ate a delicious rice table and it was delicious! The only downside was that immediately afterwards I was really on the thin shit. My other housemates could name everything I had eaten without knowing it, so maybe a tip for the chef to prepare it in a more toilet-friendly way in the future! With stinking regards!

Chinese takeaway Food is good and tasty. I think freshly made

Koe lo kai was downright gross. Fried several times in old fat or etc. Sauce also had a strange taste.

The price-quality ratio is very poor. Within 3 years the single menu price has increased by 50%. Has there been a 50% salary increase somewhere in the Netherlands?

Delicious, I took 127 from the menu. Beef tenderloin with spicy sauce and fresh vegetables, highly recommended. I took a small portion, more than enough for 1 person. I would like to come here again😊

For €14 I got a very large portion so I have nothing to complain about that. But I didn't like it, there was too little sauce with the chicken and it included paprika even though I had asked if I could get it without it. Furthermore, I had to wait a long time. The lady was very nice, but unfortunately she did not get more than 2 stars

A small scale Chinese (mostly) takeaway restaurant with tasty food for an affordable price. It's located in Nijmegen East side and popular among residents living around the restaurant.

Food was good and cheap but they don't speak English at all (thanks to some customers we could order) but the toilet was disgusting, very dirty and in general the restaurant had very old and dirty furniture.

Food fine. Service accurate and friendly. Emphasis on collection. Eating on site is possible, but... The seating is a little less cozy.

Good food. Always place your order in advance because once there you will be seated for 35 minutes.

This is not a restaurant, it is nice for students to take away, but please do not sit there, there are 4 tables and you have to be behind the bar to use the toilet. The quality of the food is okay.
