In a word: amazing. I got food for a whole group, it was ready on time, and everything tasted delicious. Fantastic!

Finally found a really good Chinese restaurant in Waalwijk...at least that's what we thought...highly recommended...with its own parking lot in the back...well organized...but...yesterday (October 5, 2025) we had a bowl of noodles, a bowl of nasi goreng, spicy beef cubes, chicken curry, and tomato soup...to start, the soup was lukewarm with barely any chicken in it...the beef cubes were as hard as a Lego block and very chewy, and literally half full. The chicken curry was also lukewarm. The noodles were literally just noodles, truly tasteless, and I didn't even try the nasi goreng. Everything left over went straight in the bin...that same evening, I had stomach problems and the urge to throw up. Unfortunately, we won't be back. Very disappointed. CERTAINLY NOT RECOMMENDED.

We called to place our order, which said it would take 20 minutes, but we ended up waiting 45 minutes. When we got home, the food was practically cold. A day later, everyone who had "fish in sweet and sour sauce" got food poisoning. We called about it, but it was our fault. This was the last time we'll be here.

Had to wait 2.5 hours, called twice to ask where the food was, both times "the car is on its way" and then upon delivery they still wanted the full amount 20 minutes later while the food was cold, which I refused!!

Possibly the worst Chinese restaurant we have ever been too. Very expensive for the quality of food you get served which was over cooked.

Very friendly hostess. Good staff and the food is good. Service can take a long time on Sundays, but that is understandable.

The first impression counts. (Forewarned: for all can you eat and or hot pot, a reservation must be made in advance. After the waitress noticed that we didn't speak Dutch, she immediately brought us a menu in English. The food was excellent and the service was also friendly. The shop is very clean and is very close to the oriental. Hospitable to tourists on their farewell, you couldn't do better.

Ate tapas several times. Fine for that price. When it's not busy it's great! However, if it is busy and you are with a large group, things go wrong...Not enough qualified staff. Then the first course arrives late and an hour later they say that the kitchen is closing. Such a shame! The permanent employee is really friendly. Tip: come during the week!

What a chaotic whole. After almost 2 hours at the table and an incomplete 1st round, the bill was paid, but there was no claim that the rest was still to come. I don't often see something this bad. Out hungry again. Once but never again.

The Chinese tapas are recommended. Especially if you are eating with 4 or more people, you can order varied and try many dishes. Service is very friendly.

Restaurant divided into two parts. Extra vegetables of the day. Then order separately. Deliciously fried with garlic. The dishes are prepared with love.

The concept is nice, but it takes a very long time at a large table in the room if they suddenly serve it out. The dishes are also not served per table but per type, for example our son was waiting more than 40 minutes for his dish while we had already finished everything for that round. Partly because of this, a meal that could easily have been prepared in 2 hours took more than 3 hours, which is really too long to sit at the table with children.

After visiting this restaurant for almost 2 years, a review and a 5-star rating are more than deserved. The interior is actually like any Chinese takeaway. Simple, but spotlessly clean. Apart from all the standard dishes, this restaurant has something unique: Chinese Tapas. All well-known dishes from oriental cuisine, but served in miniature format. You obviously start with the delicious and well-filled Chinese tomato soup and then you choose from the extensive menu according to your own insight and taste. Highly recommended for anyone who loves oriental cuisine. Update 18-08-24: Some years later... But still fantastic.

After a day at Efteling, we ate a delicious rice table with the 4 of us. Quality was top and staff very friendly. It's that we live 80km away, otherwise we would have eaten here more often. I definitely recommend this opportunity

Read some negative things here and there. We've been coming here for years. Always tasty and super friendly. Ok, when it's busy it will sometimes take a little longer everywhere. But you're there to enjoy it anyway. 5 stars from me and we will continue to enjoy their delicious food.

Having to wait an hour and a half for food and an hour for drinks, I will never go there again

Well, that was bad! Invited by my parents on Boxing Day. It wasn't even full. Still, the first round of tapas took more than an hour. "Busy" Yes, it was relatively busy at the takeaway. But you wouldn't let your restaurant guests suffocate for that, would you? Then you simply say on the phone that unfortunately you are no longer taking orders. And then they made it even more difficult for themselves with an extra Christmas menu. You should have left that out if you couldn't handle it. Really bad. No one came to explain or apologize. I know from hearsay that it is normally better, but I would never come back here myself.

Eating tapas is not recommended here, the kitchen cannot handle it! The first round takes 1 hour and is served per dish (so you are eating alone). Service is not well trained, has no insight into the tables and cannot answer questions. The owner acknowledges the complaints we have made, indicates that it is busy and that the food is prepared according to the correct standard. The food is tasteless without adding any flavor and sauces are simply impossible to get rid of. The star I give is for being able to post this reference. I will never come back here even if it were free.

We had reserved for 2 hours for the tapas. However, we had to wait an hour for the first round of which 2 dishes did not arrive. Asked several times but we never got an answer. Food is cold and has little taste. We thought we would all have a nice meal together, but we always get a dish one by one. Now it's as if we don't all eat together. There is also a fifteen minute interval between each dish. We don't think this is normal. We got a card back for rounds 2 so we could fill it in, it was a card from another table. This really should have been arranged better. This is simply not right.

We regularly eat here, good quality food for a low price, something you should definitely try but many people don't know about is the Chinese fondue, super tasty and healthy, meat and fish and vegetables in the broth. And don't forget the banana split for dessert. .

The owner added to our bill things we didn't order, probably as we are tourist and she thought we are easy target. After we complained, instead of apologize, she refused to cancle and lied in our face. We didn't have much choice, as we wanted to leave so we paid . But it was realy sceme. Not recomendeed at all!!!

I just read a response here about how the owner apparently added things to someone's bill that were not true. I would like to let you know that I was listening from the pickup desk during the conversation between this customer in question and the owner and this is not correct. There was a misunderstanding about tap water and spa blue, the customer wanted free tap water but got spa blue and the owner gave him a discount afterwards, of course not for free. The customer spoke in a rude manner and the owner tried to resolve it in a nice manner. I have been coming here for years and the service here is always excellent, the people who work there are always very polite and try to help as much as possible.

Very good restaurant. We brought a takeaway menu and took it all the way to Rotterdam to eat at home. We wanted to warm it up at home, but it was still nice and warm when we got home. This meant we could still eat it really fresh. We had a delicious meal. Worth repeating.

Even though I now live in Rotterdam but am from Waalwijk, I got takeaway last night. In the years that I lived in Waalwijk, I always came to this restaurant simply because it was so delicious there. The quality there has remained really stable over all these years, you are always warmly welcomed and when it is quiet you are never shy for a chat. Last night it was really busy, but there was equal attention for every customer. Despite the crowds, the wait wasn't too bad, a nice detail is that we then drove back to Rotterdam and when we got home everything was still nice and warm. (It should be noted that my average speed was slightly higher than normal, but we will keep this between us for now). All in all, it was super tasty and the price is a lot lower compared to other restaurants.

After having a good meal here last year from the menu, we also wanted to try the tapas. The dishes were delicious! Had to wait a little longer at the beginning of the evening due to crowds at the takeaway. That was no problem for us. Staff were very friendly.

Always the same Quality and Service Top.

First time eating here. Experience was good. Opted for the all you can eat concept. You can choose from many different Chinese, Japanese and Indian dishes. The portions you get are of a good size that you can also share with your table companions. The dishes I ate were very tasty. I will come back here more often and recommend this restaurant to my surroundings.

Food was good, but - we asked for english menu, we recieved it but we were not informed that the prices there are old and not updated.

Eating here was unfortunately a big disappointment. This used to be an excellent restaurant, but currently it is way below par. The taste of the food is generally good, but unfortunately that's where everything ends. We arrived on an early Wednesday evening. There was apparently very little staff: one girl for drinks, but she walked back and forth a lot without paying attention to the customers or taking away dirty plates. You could even hear the cook shouting and arguing in the dining room and only the lady in the combined takeaway counter tried to make the best of it. The soup was served lukewarm and cold, the main course only came after asking again half an hour later and had the wrong composition. This was solved with a pan of lukewarm addition. Other guests in the room also became restless, the all-you-can-eat table took its own order to the kitchen. Two guests at a table had not had their drinks after half an hour and just got up and left. The dining room is uncomfortably lit and there is a lot of noise from the takeaway counter, where orders were also given to the wrong customers. Those orders were then simply given to another customer a little later, nice and hygienic ;-). In the end, pinning was also a problem, after three refusals from the machine we ended up paying in cash, which luckily we had with us. Well, after reading the reviews, fortunately there are also customers with better experiences, but for us it was once and never again. Shame.

The food I picked up was delicious

It's so nice when you taste something in your mind and then actually find it on your plate. This restaurant makes it happen. Delicious shrimps in garlic sauce and tenderloin in oyster sauce. I am a fan!!

Visited it a long time ago. Now on an all you can eat basis. Nice and quiet dining with surprising tasty dishes. Served at the table, so no guests walking together. Also very good price/quality ratio. Definitely go back there again.

After a day at Efteling we went to this restaurant and took the Chinese tapas package. Wow, delicious dishes and quite large portions for tapas. Number of rounds and time is unlimited and that for the price of € 18.95 pp excluding drinks!! You can order 3 tapas per round. We were really full after 3 rounds. The service is super nice. Really worth it, we will definitely go again when we are in the area.

This is really our Chinese restaurant. Haven't found a better Chinese in the area so far. You can also eat tapas here, which is very tasty and so you can taste everything you can pick up. They are super friendly here. However, they are often very busy with takeaway and then you notice that takeaway becomes the priority, which is of course less. But if it's not busy you get your food one after the other. We still like to come here for dinner with just the two of us.

What a great restaurant! We are new to the municipality of Altena and went looking for a good Chinese restaurant, which we found! With private parking spaces behind the business. You walk in and it immediately looks like a Chinese restaurant. We were kindly helped and seated at the table, then we chose the all you can eat menu. Here you can choose from almost all dishes. Sort of a tapas idea. But, the portions are quite big hahahaha but very tasty! You order 3 dishes per round. You can also pick up here. We do this at least once a month. Highly recommended
