Service and friendliness were nowhere to be found after we received the wrong order and had paid for it. We will not be going here again.

We didn't like the food...no vegetables in the bami and nasi...spring rolls and the fried banana were dripping with grease....peanut sauce didn't taste like peanuts....often we can eat for 2 days when we eat Chinese, but this really wasn't much.

Eaten here for the first time. In short: Poor service, no customer service, no knowledge of the dishes, long wait, paid a lot of money for relatively little food. Very monotonous food. We should have kept our money in our pockets. For us, the first time and immediately the last. What a letdown.

We had a particularly delicious meal! Surprising menu, great flavors, nicely spiced, beautiful presentation. We will definitely come back again.

Very much curry in the Singapore rice noodles, but not bad.

What an incredibly pleasant restaurant. Not the standard dishes, but particularly flavorful delicacies. We chose the Szechuan rijsttafel. Wonderful flavor, pleasantly spicy, and beautifully presented platters. Highly recommended! The staff was very friendly and we had a very nice evening. Definitely worth a repeat visit!

I went here with my wife on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. The food was delicious. The price-quality ratio was excellent. The service was quick and friendly. The decor is still typical of a traditional Chinese restaurant, just the way I'm used to, so it was perfect.

The remarkably good Chinese food stands out: very little vetsin is used, which allows the flavors to shine. The people are exceptionally friendly, and even nicer.

The food was good, but we practically had to beg to order, and after ordering, we had to wait an hour and a half for our food. They're set up for takeout, not for seated diners. The service was terrible. All I got was an apology with a sheepish smile. A real letdown for me.

We had a delicious vegetarian meal! And the service was phenomenal, which isn't something you can take for granted these days. Unfortunately, their surprise menu isn't available on holidays, but we'd love to come back for that. We even received a New Year's gift, as befits Chinese hospitality! Highly recommended!

Update 5-12-2025: Everything was too salty. The rice noodles, Chinese noodles, babi pangang, satay ajam, everything. It was absolutely inedible. It's happened before that something was too salty, but this time EVERYTHING was too salty. Old review: Babi pangang, pork noodles, and foe yong hai were fine. The noodles were very bland, with a few specks of vegetables... overall, the food was fine. It's just expensive if you order individual items, but the menus are attractively priced.

Best Chinese restaurant in the area. The food is delicious. Unlike some Chinese restaurants where everything tastes the same. Not too salty, not too over-seasoned. The large spring roll is absolutely delicious. Friendly service.

The glory days seem to be somewhat over. The food is still good, but the feeling of sitting down to eat there in a cozy atmosphere seems to have vanished. Little remains of the former charm either. The exterior could urgently use a bit of paint and the like. It would do the appearance a great deal of good. The staff is very friendly, polite, and hospitable. If you want to eat out, there are better places in terms of atmosphere. But for takeaway, they are a winner.

The tastiest foe yong hai we've ever had, with a delicious sauce and crispy vegetables. The gon bao tofu was also delicious. Highly recommended!

Very unfriendly staff just yell at your food not cooked almost got food poisoning because of them I don't understand why they still exist on Roodborslaan much better

We come here regularly, and every time it's a treat. The food is delicious, fresh, and prepared with great care and attention. The service is incredibly friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. Even a dish not on the menu is made especially for you upon request – where else can you find such excellent service these days? Highly recommended!

Het gebouw is sleets en toe aan een stevige opknapbeurt. Het voedsel was matig. De groentemix bestond uit kool en wortel geserveerd met nasi. De groenten waren niet slecht, maar zeker ook niet geweldig. De nasi was geen nasi maar gekookte rijst verrijkt met wat groente, ham en ei. Dit is vaak het probleem bij Chinese restaurants: de nasi behoort gebraden rijst te zijn en niet alleen gekookt. De groenteschotel is de € 18,50 echt niet waard. De koffie was prima. De bediening was ook prima. Aardige dame. Al met al een middelmatige ervaring.

To start with, it's really good. Smaller menu for a Chinese restaurant, but what you lose in choice you get back in quality. Service was just good and staff friendly. But unfortunately you can see from many things that it's an old building. For example, stickers are missing from their facade sign, there are missing roof tiles on the roof. At an additional building there is window film but clearly dirty and greasy. Oh and there is also a fridge on the path. And that's a real shame, the eye wants something too.

Excellent Chinese, unfortunately increasingly difficult to find, hopefully we can enjoy this one often.

Sadly, it used to be really good. Now we were really disappointed with the tasteless nasi and the old, tough prawn crackers.

Het is een klein restaurant met een tiental tafels. Met onze groep van 8 hier prima gegeten. Prima porties, bediening is goed ( soms wat kortaf ) . Ze sluiten om 21.30, dus toen wij om 21.10 nog voor het nagerecht vroegen werd ons wel schoorvoetend gezegd dat ze graag om 21.30 wilden sluiten. Maar al met al een prima plek om te vertoeven.

Friday evening half past eight....the whole thing was lame. A lady was walking around cleaning up. We could eat there with a sour face. Food was okay, not large portions, but okay.

We have ordered from here several times over the past 5 years, always very satisfied. Tasty and fresh food. The last two times we have found bones at the black bean chicken menu. Today was the worst. Firstly, noodles and main course were both not fresh. Secondly, there was a 1.5 cm sharp chicken bone in our food. Fortunately, we saw it in time, but this is really dangerous.

The takeaway food on New Year's Day was downright bad.

Perfect restaurant here, they will definitely see me again, you really get value for your money and not expensive. I ask for a normal vegetable spring roll and you get a really mega tasty one, see photo, friendly staff and the owner speaks perfect, understandable Dutch.... Thank you for the very tasty meal 🙏🏻

Pretty Location and delicious food

The food was very tasty. The owners don't speak English, but you can easily communicate that way. The young service person was able to advise us in English, which worked great. We were pleasantly surprised by the food! It was very elaborately prepared and extremely tasty. The duck was tender as butter and the chicken with vegetables and the pork with vegetables were also very good.

Very friendly staff. The whole menu was in Dutch, but they helped and gave us very nice advice.

I rarely go to a “Chinese” but this restaurant was recommended by locals. And that turned out not to be unjustified. The Tipan is especially recommended. You may have different opinions about politics, but Jan Terlouw has good taste when it comes to Chinese restaurants.

Delicious Chinese food, we were very happy that they were open on Mondays. Too bad there weren't more people to enjoy that quality.

Good food, the heating could be a bit higher.

One of the better (and tastiest) Chinese restaurants in the region. Even our old Queen's Commissioner Jan Terlouw thought this was a very good restaurant. Food is excellent, service is excellent and in terms of interior it is a real Chinese. I think they last remodeled in 1985 😂 but I love it. I usually go for takeaway. Prices are average. The Sweet Sour Pork is recommended and the Satay is certainly tasty in terms of sauce. If you want good food and you like the vibes of the turn of the century, this is the restaurant.

Ordered food by telephone on Friday January 5. Wasn't ready in time, not a big deal. After waiting half an hour it was ready. When I got home, there was hardly any ham, egg or leek in the noodles. Same story with the fried rice, almost white rice. Main courses of chicken curry and Babi pangang were tasty. After a phone call with the restaurant, it was made quite easy to say that we should not arrive too early, which was not true. And we had to ask if extra ham, egg and vegetables could be added to the noodles and nasi. A bit strange, right? Take complaints seriously and do something about them. Make sure customers are satisfied, then they will write positive reviews. Too bad my reviews are being deleted.

hier met 7 personen rijsttafel mijn vriend genoten. Ieder gerecht is een kunstwerkje, een smaakexplosie, dit is waarom je uit eten gaat, vriendelijke bediening en prijs/kwaliteit is fantastisch. Aanbevolen voor een ieder die eens wil genieten van de echte Aziatische keuken.

Vandaag met zijn drieën gegeten. Zwaar, zwaar onvoldoende! We hadden alle drie het ‘keuzemenu’ besteld. Zo’n keuzemenu kun je vanaf 2 personen bestellen. We kregen met zijn drieën voor nog geen 2 personen te eten. Je betaalt dan wel gewoon voor 3 personen. Daar ook direct ter plekke op gereageerd maar er wordt geen extra eten aangeboden. De allereerste keer dat ik met honger en woedend een Aziatisch restaurant verlaat. Bijzonder slecht en ik hoop dat u verstandiger bent dan ik en dit ‘restaurant’ mijdt als de pest. Wij komen er in ieder geval NOOIT weer.

I.v.m. dat alles andere chinese restaurants in de omgeving dicht zaten, mijn vriend geprobeert. Het was zeker niets slecht, maar de sate was zeer sterk gekruid en de babi Pangang was niet echt mijn smaak. Wat wel tegenviel was de prijs. Helaas voor ons niet voor herhaling vatbaar, maar smaken verschillen.

Heerlijk chinees gegeten. Het eten werd opgediend met een kunstwerk dat uit een grote wortel was gesneden.

Voor het eerst geweest. Maandmenu voor 2 pax aangevuld met 1 miehoen Cha Shiuw ( nr 64) afgehaald. Alles heerlijk van smaak en ruim voldoende voor 3 pax. Goed Nederlands sprekende vriendelijk en servicegerichte dame achter de balie. Komen hier graag terug.

Eten is niet meer als eerst…. Je betaalt belachelijk veel voor wat je krijgt! Plak rijst met ei en ham die je moet zoeken en de prei zit er helemaal niet meer in… met de bami het zelfde verhaal. Echt gezellig is het er niet meer. Schandalig laatste keer voor ons!

We halen niet vaak "Chinees eten", maar als we dag doen, dan doen we dat van deze zaak. Het viel ons deze keer alleen heel erg tegen. Zo waren de Babi Pangang en de Babi Spek helemaal niet zo gevuld als anders. Ze leken wel vol, want er was heel veel groente onder gestopt. Eerder lag er ook een klein laagje groente onder, maar nooit zoveel als nu. Ook waren de nasi en bami niet zo gevuld als anders. Begrijp me niet verkeerd, deze bakken zaten tot de rand vol, maar eerder zat er ook ham in en prei. Verder zat er eigenlijk van alles wat er altijd aan toegevoegd wordt, minder in. Ik had haast net zo goed een bak rijst kunnen nemen, want veel scheelde het niet.

Heerlijke gerechten en niet al te duur, hier kom ik vaker

We kwamen hier per toeval langs op de terugweg naar huis maar geen spijt van gehad. Ik had nummer 43 en mijn broer 33. Lekkere saté en babi pangang. Het wortelfiguurtje moet je echter niet eten, learned it the hard way.

Goed eten. Vriendelijk personeel.

Maaltijd loempia's besteld. Mijn hemel wat een grote!!!!🤣🤣👍👍 Wij kregen ze niet op.... Volgende keer bestellen we er 1 en doen we hem doormidden. 😊

Op vakantie, dus even de Chinees testen. Loempia was heerlijk, goed verpakt. Die ster is verdient. We bestelde Nasi, maar t was en rook naar witte plakrijst met beetje ei en ham erin. Jammer. Niet te eten. Kipsaté was wel lekker. Maar niet heel bijzonder. Satésaus had een bekende supermarkt smaak.

We hebben hier heerlijk authentiek Chinees gegeten. Met name de foto met Jan Terlouw trok ons hier naar toe. Jan je hebt een goede smaak. Dus laat je verrassen door de chef dames en heren. Het is absoluut de moeite waard.

Leuke bedingen, goed eten . Van landal goldenhoven in restaurant gegeten met 6 personen. We waren zeer tevreden over bediening eten.

Tijdje al niet zo goed gegeten bij een Chinees. Groente was knapperig en de kleuren zo mooi zie foto. Het opdienen was goed gedaan. En natuurlijk zijn het erg grote porties. Met z'n 2 kregen wij onze gerechten echt niet op. Prijs is vergeleken met kwaliteit echt goed. Dit zijn nog oude prijzen dat je denkt ik kan uit eten. Bedankt🙏
