The food was very flavorful, but unlike many other Chinese restaurants, the portion size is just slightly too small for me.

I have been there many times throughout my life. With family, business associates, friends, and acquaintances. Always excellent food, atmospheric, and friendly. I haven't eaten there as often since moving, but I hope to enjoy it again soon.

We go there often. Staff very friendly. Good food at affordable prices. Also the option to get takeout.

My daughter found this Chinese restaurant on Google. After reading reviews, we drove there to eat. That was on a Friday evening; she had reserved for two in advance, but that wasn't necessary. Despite it being Friday evening, the restaurant was actually quite quiet; only 4 or 5 tables were occupied. I thought to myself: not very busy, that means: not very tasty, not very popular. Are those elderly people coming to eat because it's so hot in their houses? Do they want to escape the heat? Because here they can sit under air conditioning to enjoy the food? We ordered two dishes. After we had eaten, I noticed that the food was way under the mat. The food isn't tasty; too much salt is added. Maybe the intention is to make us order more drinks? I don't know. In short, I am really very disappointed. I will never come back here. For €30 including drinks, I expected better quality. The staff weren't very friendly either. Next time I'm going to All you can eat; then I'll only pay an extra €5 or €10, but you have more choice of dishes to choose from, and unlimited drinks are included too. It's convenient for hot days.

Friendly staff! They were helpful with our choice of rice table. We told them we didn't eat pork, and they adjusted everything accordingly. The rice table soup was delicious. The restaurant is clean, nice and quiet, and the view is beautiful. We'll be back!!! Thanks!

I made a reservation at Blue Lotus for Christmas. Unfortunately, I didn't mention beforehand that the menu is limited these days. And I noticed the portions weren't particularly large. Everything was. I've never experienced this before at a Chinese restaurant.

Looking for a Chinese restaurant, I ended up here. I managed to get a table without a reservation. It was already quite busy at 5:00 PM on a Saturday. The menu is extensive, with a variety of specialties. I chose the Tipan dish, Peking duck, and skewers. It arrived very quickly, with white rice. The portion was large and good quality, truly delicious. I went back the next day with my wife to let her enjoy it too.

I grew up on the same street. As a family, we regularly got Chinese food here and occasionally ate there too. Now, 60 years later, I ate here again. The building and decor are a bit dated, but the atmosphere, service, and food remain consistently good.

I always knew they had delicious food, but for the past few years, I've been ordering takeout elsewhere for convenience due to distance. This week, I thought I'd try Lotus's tenderloin. What an incredibly delicious dish. More flavor, delicious meat, and simply perfect. Great service. It's a shame I switched places. I'll be back!

Look, the number of Blue Lotuses and Long Walls is rapidly declining. For those who love them, we'd better cherish this style. It's definitely worth cherishing. Delicious volumes, a wide selection. "Sambal with" and an excellent snack for a Sunday "plate on the lap." Hopefully, this will last for a long time.

A traditional place that's definitely worth a visit. Food just as you'd expect, and fantastic service. I also noticed they have some modern dishes on the menu alongside the traditional dishes. They were also very accommodating to our dietary needs.

Very poor restaurant. We ate with friends yesterday, and the bami tasted like vermicilli babi pangang, fatty meat, and the staff were unfriendly. Complaints were ignored.

This afternoon I picked it up here for the 3rd time and I have eaten it before. Good flavours: here the satay really tastes like satay and the Szechuan Beef still has a spicy bite. Quickly ready and a clean place. We will gladly come back here

I thought the food was mediocre. Thick sauces, very sweet, too little rice. If you like an 80's Chinese restaurant, this is the place for you in terms of atmosphere and food I'll go for Thai, Vietnamese again as before. Like many Chinese restaurants in the Netherlands, this (1980s) is a faded glory. A container full of mushy noodles and a container with something that is supposed to be chicken curry (with pickles). The taste of cardboard. There is no love for Chinese cuisine in this food, nothing at all. Don't do this to yourself! And for the restaurant owner: Retire and close the place.

One of my favorite restaurants for years. Delicious food and a cozy atmosphere, complemented by good company, guarantee a pleasant evening.

Once a year I eat here with friends on the way back from the games fair in Essen. I would definitely come here more often if I lived nearby. By the way, it is definitely worth taking a detour. The Ti Pan dishes are my personal favorite. Friendly service and delicious dishes that also look very good. Bravo and see you next year.

After having lived in Italy for 6+ years we moved back to The Netherlands in August 2024, and are happy to tell you we moved to the town with the best take out Chinese food. We haven't tried dining in, but this is our new fave take out place, and the food was above and beyond our expectations each time. If you're looking for a classical Dutch experience of 'Chin. Ind. Restaurant' this is your place to be. Big thanks to The Blue Lotus team - we'll be back!

Great tasteful experience at Blue Lotus On my recent visit to Blue Lotus I was impressed by the delicious dishes and warm hospitality. The food was simply delicious, with every dish perfectly prepared and full of flavour. The absolute highlight of the meal was the tau sie sauce, which was simply excellent. I have rarely experienced it so delicious. In addition, the staff was super friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. They made us feel welcome. All in all a fantastic experience and highly recommended for anyone who enjoys tasty Chinese food and great service!

The food Bami rames special consisted of dishes in dirty factory sauces. Didn't look like Bami Rames. Our complaint was not heard. Too bad, but the interior is cozy.

De tijd van lekker voordelig naar de Chinees is bij Blue Lotus helaas wel voorbij. Het restaurant is top, heerlijk eten, gezellige ambiance, attente bediening. Maar de prijzen zijn aanmerkelijk hoger dan voorheen. Onder € 16 is er qua hoofdgerecht niet veel te kiezen. Ook een eenvoudige nasi met saté is blijkbaar in de ban gedaan, althans, dit komt niet meer voor op de menukaart. Misschien nog wel als je ernaar vraagt? Het restaurant zit nu duidelijk in het "betere" en daardoor ook duurdere segment. Wel iets om rekening mee te houden. De metalen trap vraagt, vooral bij regen, om de nodige concentratie.

We would actually like to give this restaurant 4.5 ⭐, but that is not possible. We are very complimentary about the food. Why then 4.5 ⭐? Because it's way too hot for me inside. So I went outside for some fresh air. The interior is on the old-fashioned side but clean.

Unfortunately I was given bad food once. It was dry, chewy, and hard. We suspect that the Babi pangnang was from the day before and that it has been heated up. We normally have good experiences with the food, but now it was, in one word, BAD

Upon arrival: our dishes are different from what you are used to from this restaurant. Unfortunately, that turned out to be completely true. Fou jong hai was instant egg from hanoz... egg yolk with nothing else. Satay sauce looked like cheap, own brand supermarket sauce. Rest of dishes all tasted the same... We had a monthly menu... but it was really not what I had there for 10 years. So apparently new policy/new chef or owner...but This was the last time for me...this was really not worth almost 30 euros at all

Nieuwe kok of eigenaar? Bij bestelling werd al gezegd : onze gerechten zijn anders geworden. We hadden een maandmenu! Nou dat klopt : Foe jong hai, was gewoon eierpoeder van de hanoz met rood water achtige saus. Satesaus zag eruit en smaakte als de goedkoopste supermarkt bak.... Alles was erg flauw, alles smaakte hetzelfde... Erg jammer. Bijna 10 jaar met plezier geweest...maar zoals dit was ...nooit meer !

Hadn't been here for a long time, my daughters invited me as a Father's Day gift. We ordered a Chinese/Indian rice table, it was delicious and well prepared. It was very busy and for a Wednesday evening, that's a good sign, we enjoyed it!

In tegenstelling tot wat hieronder beweerd wordt, is de loempia van uitstekende kwaliteit. Ruim gevuld met ei, groenten, vlees en tauge. Sinds de huidige eigenaren er in zitten kom ik al hier en ik vind het het beste Chinese Restaurant in de verre omtrek. Altijd heel smakelijk met gebruik van verse ingrediënten. The restaurant gives off a very authentic chinese restaurant vibe. The food was very good and served quite fast, the local is clean and nicely decorated, the service staff was very nice and helpful. They have an english menu and i really recommend getting some ice cream for dessert since it was extremely tasty!!!

Beste Chinese Restaurant dat ik ken. Geweldige keuken, en vriendelijke bediening.

Het zijn niet de belangrijkste onderdelen op het menu, maar ook de loempia en Gado Gado waren kwalitatief ooit goed bij dit restaurant. Nu zijn beide voor zeker 98% gevuld met alleen taugé. Vlees en groente is er nauwelijks tot niet meer in te vinden.

Eten is goed, verder een net restaurant.

Prima restaurant, je kunt hier ook afhalen. De Indische rijsttafel coor 2 personen is heerlijk en voldoende voor 4 personen.

Het was hier lekker en gezellig eten, het is leuk om ook door Chinese dames geserveerd te worden. Het eten was ook zeer zeker erg goed. Gewoon een goede plek om een chinees diner.

Ein chinesisches Restaurant, wie ich es von früher her kannte. Kein Billigbüfett (all you can eat), sondern frisch zubereitete Speisen a la Carte, die sehr gut schmecken. Der Service ist perfekt. Frische Tischdecken und Stoffservietten sind nur zwei weitere Merkmale, die den angenehmen Rahmen abrunden. Nicht zuletzt sei erwähnt, dass die Preise absolut in Ordnung sind.

Kun je gerust gaan eten , lekker goede kwaliteit en genoeg en prettige bediening.

One of the best and tastiest places i have ever been to

Update 2023: eigenlijk zelfde ervaring als hieronder. Het eten was heerlijk, gezellig en alle tafels bezet dus dat zegt wel iets. Probleem blijft toch echt de baklucht. Kleren kunnen direct bij de was. Rest van het gezelschap ervaarde dit ook zo. Anders 5 sterren. Eten erg lekker, prima koks en leuke bediening waar je goed menu mee kunt samenstellen. Kan een momentopname zijn geweest maar de baklucht hing wel behoorlijk zwaar in het restaurant. Kleren ruiken er helemaal naar.

Afhalen telefonische bestelling. Was erg druk op dat moment. Werd netjes verteld. De mogelijk extra wachttijd viel mij erg mee. Eten was wederom lekker en goed op temperatuur. Ik wacht liever iets langer dan dat de kwaliteit inboet. Gelukkig denken ze hier ook zo. Sfeer in afhaalpunt gemoedelijk.
