We ate here with our whole family, children, and grandchildren. We had asked Milou for a special Chinese dish. She suggested making a variety of specific Chinese dishes for us. We were happy with that. It exceeded our expectations. Amazing and varied dishes. We enjoyed it very much. Kudos to Jimmy and Milou. This is definitely worth repeating. Thanks again so much.

It is no longer an all-you-can-eat restaurant. They have a delicious menu. A restaurant for small groups, takeout, and catering. They also rent out a large hall for weddings. The entire location has been renovated. Had a family party at the restaurant today. Very good buffet, and they also made special Yuxiang eggplant. As always, good service from Milou. Tasty food from Jimmy. Really good, authentic Chinese food. Also always love small children. Thanks for the great evening!

The new owner is a very sweet woman, so I still give it a pass mark. But unfortunately, our experience wasn't what we'd hoped for. The drinks took a very long time, and ordering certain dishes was also slow. Normally, you can just grab your own food at a wok, but here you had to hand over everything and then wait a long time. We also found the flavors different from the traditional Dutch wok we're used to. Personally, this isn't a place we would return to.

Terribly salty; unless you have kidney problems, you'll get it there. And the spare ribs are terribly tough. We won't be back.

First of all, what a lovely, peaceful restaurant with very hospitable and friendly staff. We received a very warm welcome and were well served with drinks and a special order form, and of course, you can also pick up your own food. Very friendly staff, though it was a bit chaotic. Food ordered from a list had to wait a long time, but drinks were brought quickly. Food in the containers was quickly gone or cold. Desserts in the cake display case were dry, and the wok was tasteless or burnt. There was no changing station for the kids; they had to use a dirty changing mat on the table in front of the restrooms. Tip: improve the quality of the food.

Wij hebben gisteren 12 juli 2025 hier gegeten. Heel speciaal hier is, dat er eten besteld kan worden net zoals bij een tapas restaurant. Bijvoorbeeld, spek, gestoomde sieuw mai, dim sum, patat etc. het ligt dus niet lang in bakken en wordt ter plekke bereid. Het is onbeperkt bestellen. Het overige eten is prima. Tevens is het mogelijk als je niet van wokken houd, dat je telefonisch een compleet gerecht kan bestellen bij reservering en samen eet met diegene die wel wokken. Alles is mogelijk. De bazin en het personeel zijn gastvrij, vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

We come here regularly. With my father Rein and mother Marja. We are always welcomed by Milou. Super friendly and super cozy, you don't want for anything, she always makes sure that everything is there. Don't be rude or look surprised if the service comes to your table every 5 minutes to ask if you want another drink, Milou is very strict about this, which is a plus point. She wants her guest to not want for anything and is therefore always directing the service. But at the end of the meal, she always settles the bill herself and the children always get a present. Definitely recommended, especially if you come more often, she never forgets who you are or your name and oh wee if she knows it's your birthday, she celebrates it with you... Again, super friendly, food is always delicious and you don't pay too much. Really recommended

Delicious Chinese with Taplau and Wokpan

Last week I celebrated my parents' wedding anniversary at Jasmine! Not recommended!! The restaurant was not busy, Started with tomato soup: without chicken? We had to wait a really long time for the ordered side dishes that were not warm and we didn't even get half of them/forgot them? The service was not coordinated, Pieces of steak that were left on the baking sheet for far too long, luckily a fellow chef saw that, the mushrooms that were fried with it were really not fresh, The concept includes drinks but there were 3 Teas on the bill??

The highlight of a beautiful weekend was this visit to this beautiful authentic restaurant. They voluntarily brought snacks, which gave a nice Dutch touch to this beautiful evening. The staff was not too bad to bring more beer and had a smooth chat and nice humor. An example of this was that she said that the last beer she brought was the tastiest. Furthermore, I thought the food was very good, everything was fresh and the meat very tender. Unfortunately, I found the atmosphere in the garden a bit less with the wooden chairs and the bus shelter as decor. Definitely recommended to go there with everyone for good food, fantastic service and a cozy atmosphere. The next morning on the toilet was less fun but it was worth it!

Celebrated a birthday with a group. What a battlefield! I understand that it can be a bit busy at peak times but I felt sorry for the service. Everyone was just doing their own thing with the result being the wrong drinks or no drinks at all. Tables a mess with empty glasses and plates and the ordered ‘specials’ took ages to arrive or never arrived. The queue for the wok event and the baking tray was way too long, so I didn’t do it. All inclusive and for that price, that’s how I can do it too. Time flies by by itself. Uninviting, dingy large shed but to each his own of course. Honesty must say, friendly staff and the food was of quite good quality.

I was there yesterday the food was good but the rest really wasn't

Verjaardag gevierd met een groep. Wat een slagveld! Ik begrijp dat op een piek moment het wat druk kan zijn maar kreeg medelijden met de bediening. Iedereen deed maar wat met als resultaat verkeerde of helemaal geen drankjes. Tafels een chaos met lege glazen en borden en de bestelde ‘speciaals’ lieten een eeuwigheid op zich wachten of komen niet. Rij voor het wokgebeuren en de bakplaat veel te lang, dus niet gedaan. Alles inclusief en voor die prijs, zo kan ik het ook. De tijd vliegt vanzelf voorbij. Ongezellige smoezelige grote schuur maar ieder z’n meug natuurlijk. Eerlijkheid gebied te zeggen, aardig personeel en eten was best van aardige kwaliteit.

It takes super long to get your food & the staff doesn't pay attention to anything

We made a reservation a week in advance but when we arrived there was hardly any space. No explanation and the table was not set. The food was very disappointing and we had to wait almost an hour for our spring rolls which were then cold. In 1.5 hours I could not even get 1 portion of nasi because everything was gone. After several complaints we decided to leave and then suddenly the owner came and tried to make us look like idiots in a full restaurant by shouting angrily at us and trying to save her own skin. Really a terrible restaurant.

Ordered food cold delivered home egg peels in the food. Called promise you will get food again but then warm. Have never been there again. I will never order there again

Food is delicious. Susi in advance and then stir-fry (the chef's fantasy) and then put some more on the baking tray. Vergane glorie. Zonde. Niet druk op een zaterdagavond. Aan de vriendelijkheid ligt het niet. Dat is super. Als dit restaurant in de Randstad zou staan was het een kansloze missie geweest gezien de concurrentie en wat we normaal gesproken gewend zijn. Eten kan smaakvoller. Waterige koffie. Niet ervaren kok bij de bakplaat. Kok bepaald wanneer de biefstuk rood is en niet de klant (koud van binnen) opnieuw op de plaat totaal doorgebakken. Hoe dan? Dit restaurant heeft een flinke upgrade nodig om weer mee te doen. 2e bezoek zit er echt niet in.

Pricey food is good, but very expensive and drinks are special.

We were here on Christmas Day and it wasn't too bad how busy it was. The price was also quite affordable for this day. The food was very tasty and of good quality, but not very special, as there were mainly a lot of standard things. The service was a little less. It took a while and the drinks we received sometimes did not match what we had ordered. It also felt a bit chaotic. They do refill everything on time, so you don't have to stand for empty containers. The decoration is very nice and not too busy.

The outside does not reveal how beautiful the inside is, beautifully done! We came here with 2 young children (2.5 and 5 years old) and this wok is perfect for that. With 2 large play areas for the children, one with a bouncy castle and the other with all kinds of things. We didn't hear the children during those 2 hours, they were so happy. As far as food is concerned, it is also completely fine. Very large variety of sushi and it was always replenished quickly. Nice and friendly staff. Drinks were often requested and delivered quickly. Went to Sneek the weekend of (12-14/07) and wanted to eat at a wok restaurant. Arrived, the exterior of the building was very atmospheric. Didn't even know this restaurant was called Jasmijn Garden, it doesn't say that anywhere. Hostess super nice but in terms of food, very little choice. Sushi available non-stop, if there was any sushi it was only 1 type. There was only 1 cook at the tepanyaki plate and wok. Because of this it took a very long time before you had your food, even if you already had a choice for the tepanyaki plate because it was always everywhere or nothing, or only 2-3 pieces. Food was hardly replenished. Chicken soup was at the bottom of the soup pot, not replenished in those two hours. Nice and nice that you can mark on a menu (such as in tapas restaurants) if you wanted to order "special snacks".... (were just fried snacks, probably under the guise of food waste, I think it was more of a waste of money since there was nothing or you have to love salads, there were three choices and they were replenished, but we don't go to a wok for that). If we checked something, we could wait half an hour for the first snacks, after speaking to the first staff member, fifteen minutes later someone spoke to us again (after half an hour already waiting!!!) we heard the bell that our snacks could be picked up (2 minuscule small Chinese balls). No staff member took them, because they were cold, I almost wanted to grab them myself. The hostess (who is super nice) approached us several times about the sushi that was not replenished, she came to us "yes, sir, sushi is there", we did not see any sushi for 20 minutes. For a price of €37.50 all you can eat (call it all you can choose from a limited selection) including unlimited drinks, it is seriously below par. Staff are all mixed up, they don't even know where to walk...conclusion: I understand that they have to keep their heads above water in these times, but for that price, at least keep replenishing everything despite very little supply. Went there for the sushi, had 2 pieces of sushi. This restaurant should not have a name (probably that's why they didn't put a name on the facade). Once and never again!!!! We got there around 6:30 PM and it wasn't busy at all. We were also able to wait at least 15 minutes for the drinks and after 15 minutes we were approached again (we were doing nothing, yes chatting with regular guests) and we were able to wait another ten minutes. Desserts from the refrigerated display case... there are no tongs for anything so everyone took it out with their fingers :s

Scored a voucher through social deals. Made a reservation by telephone only to find out that we still HAD to pay the full price (142 euros after the 60 euros we had already paid via social deals) The reservation did not have to be made through the restaurant but through social deals, while I indicated by telephone that I wanted to pay with the voucher, but this did not come up.. "Niek sulks, nice stir-fry" does not apply here.

The staff were friendly and the food was freshly made by the staff and was delicious. For everything included the cost of the buffet was definitely worth it. Offered a unique take on a buffet as they offered a wok bbq and tepinyaki grill all made in front of you.

Unknown, I was going to eat here with my mother tonight. Opened according to the website, and according to Google too. I called again, was not answered, but also no message on voicemail. When we arrived, I thought it didn't look that great anymore, and it turned out that they were closed. An A4 piece of paper on the door, explaining that they are on holiday... Very unprofessional. We then moved to Wok Bolsward, and even though there was no table available, the owner arranged a table for us. Shame, I ate it in the past, and liked it, but it seems that it is no longer what it used to be.

Op moment van schrijven (feb 2024) op de Woensdag en Donderdag een deal van 25 euro all inn. Dat was ook prima. Een lange gang gaf toegang tot het wok restaurant. Hier werden we aller hartelijkst ontvangen door de eigenaar. Niet het meest luxe wok restaurant, wel vriendelijk ontvangst en koks. Ons inziens kan er wel wat gedaan worden aan de opstelling van de gerechten. Veel salade in een bakje en een klein beetje carpaccio erop. Vlees en groenten om te wokken werd door de kok gepakt en op een bordje gedaan, om vervolgens te wokken. Zelf pakken van wat je lekker vind is er niet bij. Dus dan bedoelen wij de groenten en vlees voor wokken. Ook misten wij een beetje normale voorgerechten, koude gerechten. Al met al voor 25 euro prima gegeten en gedronken, maar gezien de ruimte is er veel meer uit te halen. Drinken moet je steeds bestellen, omdat klantvriendelijkheid hoog in vaandel staat, maar is wel onpraktisch, en personen die lopen voor drank, kan je dan ook weer ergens anders voor inzetten. (maar dat is onze mening hoor) Eten was verder goed. Toevoeging van papier waar je gerechten op aan kan kruisen zodat dat voor je gemaakt wordt, zien wij niet, Gebakken banaan of miniloempia kan je ook in een bak doen. Zet wat punten op de i en je hebt een leuke toko! Ruim op, maak het aantrekkelijker.

Food and drinks for a fixed price. Wok, griddle, Chinese, etc. Also various starters and desserts. Visited again in 2023. Now the design was different. You can boast less; no fries/potatoes for example. You have to tick those and other dishes on an order list. Wok was mainly fish. You have to order drinks. It didn't happen the first time. But then a few rounds of spontaneous replenishment.

The food is of a higher quality than you would expect and it is evident that the cooking is done with passion.

There is no wok restaurant in Friesland (Netherlands) that I like better than Jasmine Garden. It is always so perfectly arranged here. The food is fantastic, the people who work there are super friendly and hospitable. Being here is always a great experience, thank you! 🌸

September 2023 we went to Jasmine Garden in Sneek.. you expect a wok to be unlimited.. but we constantly had to ask if they wanted to refill it.. you also received a note of things that you have to order separately... but We also had to wait a very long time for that.. and had to ask for our note every time.. the owner was too busy for everything.. Too few staff and the food we got from the griddle was burnt and tough, drink you also have to order before you get a new one, it takes an hour.. I have honestly never experienced it so bad.. the only positive thing is that the staff is very nice. But I'll never go there again.

We arrived on Saturday evening at 7 pm on January 7, 2023... everything was gone!! Bare lettuce leaves, sushi table was empty, meat for the baking tray was gone except for chicken fillet, 2 mushrooms and 2 slices of onion were all there. The noodles were empty, sahte consisted only of sauce... not a single skewer to be seen. What I don't understand is that many people also see it but don't report it. I expressed my displeasure at the sushi bar and the chef at the griddle. After I finally got my food I went for a 2nd round....no refills!!! Still a lot on. Total service of 2 people, I had to ask for drinks at the bar. I made my dissatisfaction heard again in such a way that everyone could hear... then finally something was refilled. No, I will never come here again! Bolsward is much better! .

How bad, how bad, I don't know where to start, sushi was gone and was only replenished after 30 minutes, steak super tough, tenderloin from the warming pan is not tenderloin but scallops, threads of meat, chicken satay even drier than the Sahara, but Taking the white hamburgers out of a supermarket package really helps, my wife was nice but laughed off the complaints a bit. The neighbors were already telling each other how long it would take before they finished the steak.

I really can't believe it's so bad! Beef tenderloin that is rib steaks, sauces when stir-frying that taste of nothing...no, never again. Sushis of 2 types were still acceptable. I'm not going to recommend this to anyone.

We used to enjoy eating out here (see review below from 4 years ago), but unfortunately the concept has completely changed. We had already read that drinks were unfortunately no longer included, but that's besides the point. When I ordered cassis for the 2nd time (it comes in a glass bottle) and my friend also wanted this instead of cola, because we prefer to drink it from a bottle/can rather than from a glass, this was not accepted. The waitress gave me the cassis and brought a bottle of coca cola and poured it to my friend. She explained that the small bottles are very expensive and that these are expensive times. So he just got something different than what he ordered, because the waitress/owner didn't want it. We were a bit surprised, but this made us think that drinking was included. Later I ordered cassis again and my friend coke. We had to wait a very long time for this, even though there were only a few tables occupied. When we left we received a bill for 16.50 euros for 6 drinks. That's absolutely fine, but don't complain about what kind of drinks we 'should' drink. You can order spring rolls, fried bananas and other snacks from a menu, so that less is wasted and the food is fresher. That is a good initiative, but when I mentioned that I wanted 1 piece of fried banana instead of 3 pieces, I was urged to take 2, even though I couldn't finish it. Unfortunately, there is now almost nothing left of the current buffet, even at the wok section you can no longer serve yourself what you want. This is done by the cook. In addition, the chocolate fountain has also been removed. As a result, we choose to go to Omnia, E10 or Bolsward from now on. This includes soft drinks (and at Bolsward also beer/wine) and there is a running buffet with a chocolate fountain.
