Chinees specialiteiten restaurant Hong Hua in Wijk 10 Binnenstad

This afternoon, just before 5 p.m., I ordered food (on their own website), and it still hadn't arrived by 6:30 p.m. I called, and finally, the food arrived at 6:50 p.m. The delivery driver wasn't allowed to deliver it because it hadn't been paid for. I showed him the confirmation email, which clearly stated it had been paid for with iDeal. He called the owner, and she insisted I hadn't paid. I called myself, and then my husband called three more times. She was practically hysterical, screaming that the food hadn't been paid for. The delivery driver was still with us. The man couldn't believe it either. Finally, at 7:40 p.m., she said the payment had arrived and the delivery driver could deliver it. Well, I didn't think so! I like hot food, and it wasn't. Then the delivery driver spoke to a man on the phone, who said he was going to remake the order. At 8:30 p.m., we were finally able to eat. But you understand, we'll never order from them again. Accusing us of trying to cheat and yelling at us. Didn't even get an apology from the owner. A big thumbs up for the delivery driver though!

Ordered at 4 o'clock, it is now over 6 o'clock, still no food in sight, then you pay 40 euros for it, we don't do that anymore, the food was tasty except that we tasted fried banana in our fried dishes, and we didn't order that.

I waited two and a half hours for my food. After two hours, I called the restaurant. I was put on hold and heard a lot of shouting in the background. I didn't get an apology for the delay, just a "it's very busy, about 20 more minutes." The food arrived 30 minutes later. The food tasted okay, although the skewers were very hard and difficult to eat. Not recommended if you want to eat at a decent hour.

Ordered through Thuisbezorgd well in advance, and the delivery was again late. When I called them, they had 1001 reasons to justify it. I'll never order from them again. 😡😡😡

After waiting an hour, the order still hadn't arrived. I called Hung Hua, and they said they were still preparing it! I suspect they must have overlooked the order. Very poor and not customer-friendly.

Ordered food at 3:30 and requested delivery at 5:30. It's now 6:30 and we still haven't received our food. The employee on the phone was very unfriendly. Last time for us.

After waiting 1.5 minutes for the food, it was finally delivered, but unfortunately it was cold, the potato slices had to be thrown away straight away and nothing could be saved. I called immediately and it was taken care of with a bag of prawn crackers with my next order, of course I wouldn't pay 22 euros for that. This Chinese restaurant is definitely not recommended.

What bad service! Order placed, you receive the wrong order, you call the company and you are fobbed off, there was nothing they could do about it. If you make mistakes as a restaurant, fix them and we will never order from here again! Expensive payment and food was also cold!

Ordered the monthly menu today. The positive thing is that the food was delivered on time. But other than that we are not happy with it.... when ordering online we clearly stated that all dishes had to be WITHOUT mushrooms. Then 2 of the 3 dishes contain mushrooms..... Contacted via chat, where it is stated that they usually respond within 15 minutes... now 4 hours later and no response yet... This is very bad....

Ordered my food at 8 minutes past 5. At 15 minutes past 7 no food was seen. I don't understand how this is possible. Busy is good but wait 2 and a half hours. I do not think so. It is now 7:35 PM and we have not seen any food yet. I will never order a meal here again.

Normally often ordered from Hong Hua! and always satisfied. However, the last time we ordered Gado Gado, among other things. Contents were only bean sprouts and peanut sauce. Still called for constructive criticism. She believes that this is Gado Gado...just bean sprouts with peanut sauce. We are Indos ourselves so we know what Gado Gado is (at least give it some beans). Her answer was short and sweet: "then make it yourself, it's our dish" and she just hung up the phone. It's a shame how she took it. For the rest, I wish them the best of luck, because we won't order from here anymore. For reference this is Gado Gado

Very disappointing. Ordered food at 5:15 pm for delivery at 6:00 pm. Called at 6.20 pm because nothing had been delivered yet, it would be there in 5 minutes. Finally the food arrived at 6.45pm. The delivery person was very friendly, but the food was so cold that we had to heat it in the microwave. I won't be ordering here again.

Ridiculously bad. Waited for two hours and got nothing delivered. Rude people on the phone who think it's funny when you've waited two hours and haven't received anything. Worthless thing. Never again.

Had never ordered here before, everything looked good but unfortunately the taste was not good, the wantan soup broth was good but the contents of the balls were hard and chewy and it was impossible to guess what kind of meat it was, babi pangang was fine but the tjaptjoy was very sweet, as if they had added sweetener, so not great, the chicken soup was very salty, so you guessed it, so I don't really disappoint again.

After 45 minutes nothing, I called again, the employee had forgotten to report it. The rest of the order would still be delivered afterwards. Finally, after almost 2.5 hours, we had completed the order with a free bag of prawn crackers as compensation.

Good food, order by phone and generally not a long wait.

I wondered if there is another chef, ordered so often and always good, ordered rames with nasi last Monday, which was not good. It was as if they had scooped the nasi straight out of the water, it had no taste at all, sorry

Pleasant service, excellent spring rolls

If you order by telephone and then have to wait another 20 minutes on a quiet Monday evening for 2 spring rolls, I think that's bad. The restaurant also looks cold/kill and poorly maintained.

Actually by far the best taste of all Chinese restaurants in Twente and for a very competitive price. Although the interior is outdated, there is a lot of take-out. Delicious chicken curry! Ajam pangang also clearly better than that of Jasmin Garden in Borne, which is also very good. This Chinese is/deserves seriously better!!

Bad service! Very bad! Nasi without pork indicated. DID get pork. Called the business, new nasi would be brought. Now, 1 hour later, still no Nasi and my main course has become completely cold!

Disappointing! nasi rames speciaai is only nasi with sajoer beans, 2 pieces of meat and a strange meatball. And that in containers that are 1-person dishes at the competitor. no satay and no chicken and then first got noodles instead of nasi.

Poor help with an incorrect order. And you don't even get looked at.

Tasted delicious! Nice and quiet in the restaurant (as always at the Chinese). most people get takeout.

Not normal how long you have to wait for your food. It's already been 1.5 hours and still no food at home. Last time we ordered food here. When we received the food 2 hours later, the food was cold, tasteless and dirty! Never again for us

On New Year's Day we had to wait 3.5 hours for our food, we called at 6:45 PM, it would take another half hour and we called again at 7:40 PM, the delivery person was just on his way. After 50 minutes! it was finally delivered, lukewarm! Ok, I understand that it can be very busy on this day, but 3.5 hours... what really disappoints me is that there is no response from the restaurant to the complaints.
