Beijing Assen has been a regular spot for us for years! We always call to place our order and then pick it up. The portions are always large and the prices are really good. The food is tasty. Our favorite? The Monthly Menu Extra. Perfect for a delicious meal with the whole family without missing anything. In short, for us, Beijing Assen is the place for delicious Chinese food and there is the nostalgic atmosphere of a real Dutch Chinese restaurant!

The order time stated on the receipt was 6.45 pm. Very expensive, 119 euros for 1x Chinese menu and 1x Indian menu and 1x shrimp and 2 spring rolls. White rice was missing. Moisture had leaked from the containers. Food taste was good. Please note: you will not receive stamps upon delivery!

First of all, I received the wrong dish then ordered it. The food was also cold and the noodles dry, tough and little taste/filling. Everything went straight into the container. We had contact with Beijing twice and all issues were dismissed as our own fault and not true. Cold food was not possible as it was very quiet according to Beijing. The busy message on Sunday on the ordering site apparently does not apply in this case... We had to contact Thuisbezorgd and no solutions were offered. 2 weeks earlier there were also issues when picking up, the order was 'forgotten' to be entered and the same issues with the food, but we were used to different things from Beijing, hence a 2nd chance. In other words, last time ordered here and as a customer you do not have to count on service here!!

I haven't been there for a few years, but on the advice of my daughter and son-in-law I picked up a monthly menu to enjoy a delicious meal together. From the first bites it became apparent that everyone had the feeling that the food had a strange taste. At first you sit and look at each other and try a different dish, but it was as if soap or some other cleaning product added an aftertaste. Because we all had the same impression, we picked up everything and brought it back. There we were told that what we found was not possible. They were not prepared to taste whether what we found might be correct after all. A conversation ensued and I actually thought that was even worse than the bad food. We asked if something could be done, but the lady was not really willing to compensate anything, she couldn't even apologize. We did not insist further. A waste of €43. but the bad experience is much worse. Never again Beijing!!

Had the Christmas menu here today, after a fire at the Greek restaurant, we were still able to go here. Food was good. Service was messy, also due to the enormous crowds at the takeaway. But dessert was already reserved, while the warming plates and used items had not yet been cleared. Tip for the owner, turn off the ceiling lights, we now had the feeling that we were in a canteen, we could count each other's wrinkles. Too bad, a little more attention to the restaurant, otherwise it will close and complete attention to the takeaway.

When you normally live in the UK, you quickly realise the difference between a Chinese restaurant at home and in The Netherlands and eating the latter is sometimes quite refreshing. We had a Chinese-Indonesian rijsttafel with all the old favourites. A very good meal in a nice setting.

It looked like mass production Bami undercooked Tomato soup sour Satay sauce was very sharp here because the babipangang with peanut sauce was also much too sharp.
