As a family, we always enjoy visiting Cigkoftem in Rotterdam North. The cigkofte is delicious, and what is important to me is that it is prepared fresh. The staff member is always super friendly, clean, and fast. Of course, taste is very important, but a welcoming atmosphere and friendliness make it a lovely place we love to return to!

The shop is very clean, happy with the service when you walk into the shop, nice sparkling smile from the girl with the headscarf, always neat and customer-friendly.

We were on holiday from Turkey and as soon as we saw it, it caught our attention. We ordered wraps and the service was wonderful. There was a woman wearing a headscarf, the lady of the mosque, we chatted and didn't feel like strangers at all. Definitely give it a try, it was delicious! 👌🏻💕

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, BEYOND TERRIBLE STAFF!!! Today, we were forced to go for raw meatballs one last time. We only asked for lettuce and parsley in the wrap, and a little spice. Even though your employee had a whole crate of parsley on display, he refused to give it to us, saying the parsley wasn't clean. And this same employee, whose only responsibility in the shop is to always keep the greens fresh and clean, was too lazy to even take clean parsley from his strainer and put it in the wrap. So he gave us two wraps with zero greens, only two pieces of lettuce, and no spice at all, despite us asking for a little spice. (We couldn't eat them, we threw them in the trash). Every time we come to your shop to buy something, your employees are always grumpy, ungrateful, and unhelpful. I was always annoyed after leaving your shop, but this time was the last straw. We shouldn't have to endure the same treatment every time. We will never shop at your store again. I tried to reach the shop owner but couldn't find their number. That's why I'm writing here now. If you're looking for enemies, you don't need to look far, they're right under your nose!!!

I've been to other Cigkoftem locations (e.g., in Zuid and Merksem), and there the portions are larger, and they offer more vegetables, like a whole salad, while you give half a salad for the same price. Not satisfied.

Terribly rude! I went there for the first time, and the woman told me I had to wait because she wanted a cigarette. Plus, customer service was nonexistent. How dare you hire someone like that... terrible. I'm definitely never going back. I couldn't even ask questions properly without her interjecting, "NO WE DON'T HAVE ANYMORE." Breathe, woman.

We wanted to go inside and came face to face with the employee. We asked if we could order something, but that turned out to be impossible because the employee was on a break. Moreover, there was no one else at the counter. She told us we had to wait inside for three minutes so she could go outside and smoke with people she knew. I asked if I could order something first, since I was the only customer, but that wasn't possible. This felt incredibly disrespectful. Make sure there's extra staff present, or close the store during breaks.

We were very disappointed with the woman behind the counter. We expected a friendlier and more customer-focused approach. She responded to our questions in a way that gave the impression she wasn't interested in selling anything. She also rejected our request to cut a dürüm in half, saying, "No, I can't do that, I'll package it like this," which seemed rather rude. We would appreciate it if more attention were paid to customer satisfaction.

Very disappointed. There was little attention paid to customers. Hopefully, something will improve soon.

The tastiest cigkofte in the Netherlands 😋

I got Çigköfte from Mel two days in a row. It felt like I was back in Turkey, how delicious! Delicious with the crispy parsley and lemon in the wrap. Not too spicy either, just right. Maybe I'll go back tomorrow!

Today I had a bad experience at your branch on Zwart Janstraat in Rotterdam Noord. I grabbed a straw, and the employee who was smoking and talking on the phone outside said, "No, you can't grab a straw; you didn't buy a drink here." Wow, what a disappointment!

Today we were helped by a wonderful lady at Çiğköftem (Black John Street). Her kindness and sincere attention made our visit very special. We felt welcome and loved, as if we were with family. While enjoying her fresh wraps we enjoyed a beautiful henna moment for the Eid al-Adha. Thank you for everything ❤️

I love coming here for a quick and healthy lunch or dinner! The vegetables are always fresh and crunchy, the çig köfte is delicious, and I always get fast and friendly service. They also sell chocolate bars with pistachio filling these days, which are also super tasty! Simply a great place for fresh, healthy, and delicious vegetarian food at a great price :)

Terribly bad. First I had to wait to order until the lady was done with her phone. And then I paid 7 euros for an XL wrap. These have only become smaller every year at Cigkoftem. Doesn't mean anything. Then I sit down and she brings the wrap without a napkin or plate. Then she just chats on the phone with a colleague about her contract. She's on her phone all the time. And is impatient because I won't leave so she can go smoke. Stands behind the counter, a bit antisocially, eating chocolate. Then she goes outside for a cigarette, really gross. So I get up, wash my hands and walk to the toilet. While I'm peeing I hear her shouting, 'Mr. Sir', and she comes pulling and knocking at the door, 'that that's not allowed'. That I should have asked that. But how do I do that if you're on your phone all the time or standing outside talking? She tells me quite aggressively that I have to leave and is intimidating. I say: 'that the service is bad', she says: 'well, I'm not your staff'. You are, of course, indirectly. But don't worry, I'll never come back here again. Such staff will destroy your store.

Never had such a tasteless çigköfte before. It tasted like nothing. And what unfriendly staff. If you don't feel like working, close it then take care of the matter instead of being grumpy towards you customers. The lady doesn't even look at customers and she has never heard of customer-friendly. I was helped earlier by a lady wearing a headscarf and she was also very grumpy. And then smoke so unprofessionally in front of the door. Wasted money. You better close this branch

Old atmosphere, fast service with friendly employees but the food was inedible, you can't even taste the cigkofte, only the wrap with cucumber and the sauce. Better take elaziz cigkofte dude.

Ci kofte menu tasted like nothing, never experienced it. Never experienced this at Zuidplein. 1st and last time for us.

The lady started sneezing and held her hands in front of her nose. Without washing her hands she started preparing us wraps. No taste like I'm used to with other Cigkoftem's. €0.75 for extra squirt of sauce?

I am now lying on the couch feeling sick with a stomach ache and I have already been to the toilet dozens of times after consuming a cikoftem. Never again this branch for me! They can learn a lot from Zuidplein or Dordrecht in that respect, I have never experienced any complaints there. Ps. The staff (the lady without a headscarf) was standing in front of the entrance of the business smoking, not exactly tasty or fresh to deal with this unpleasant smell before you go for a bite to eat. That's really not possible at a food store.

Very unfriendly, today that employee really treated me like crap! She put the ciqofte for me on a four-sided plate, customers put money on it, and said put Durum on it for me, I said something about it, and then she made me another ciqofte with anger. Normally very friendly people work here and the food is really tasty. There is only one bad apple among your staff. I had a delicious lunch from you the day before yesterday, made by the right colleague. But what I received yesterday (February 14, 2023) for €6.50 “large wrap” was shoved into my hands, I thought it was rude, it looked like just a small wrap, with more starch than vegetables, the last piece was not filled at all as I am used to, and there was also not enough sauce, it seemed on purpose, because I come I have been with you for years and I was not used to this tasteless sensation. and again, I was here the day before yesterday and there was a nice woman working and she made it as I am used to. It would be a shame if I never go here again. I have noticed several times with the lady who was working yesterday that she is completely uncustomer friendly / not customer focused. He would rather get back to that phone call as soon as possible. Cigkofte Durum size has been halved and price has doubled! Completely wasted my money!!

What scammers! Paid €12 for 2 big durum. The only thing that was big about it were the 2 loaves of lovage. We had to look for the cigkofte in it. Don't waste your money on this!!
