Best roti in Rotterdam, tried several places but it cannot be matched.

Today I got lamb rice, chicken curry rice, extra long beans, and aloo and tjaumin roasted chicken. I have one word. DELICIOUS.

Best roti in ages. Lamb and pumpkin, highly recommended. The touch of acidity works well, and the sambal in the form of vegetable spaghetti is easy to portion.

I had just ordered via Uber and saw so many delicious roti. I accidentally ordered roti with chicken bone instead of fillet. I called them right away and despite the price difference (because unfortunately you can't change that via Uber), they were still willing to deliver the fillet. I think that's really cool. I ordered chicken/lamb roti by mistake instead of chicken/duck. I called the gentleman, and he indicated that the food was already packed. When the food was delivered and I unpacked it to eat, I saw a separate container with duck meat in it, without him telling me when I was on the phone with him. I was very pleasantly surprised. Very rough and bad behaviour and food quality also very bad. wait almost an hour for food and they said you can leave if you cannot wait. Really disappointing restaurant. No one should go to this indian restaurant. Seems like they are giving free food. 👎👎👎👎

We were treated very rudely on the phone. Poor customer service. The food was covered in sambal, making it extremely spicy (I can handle spicy food, but this was absolutely outrageous), even though we had specified we didn't want sambal. Unfortunately, our meal and evening were ruined. I won't be ordering from here again. Such a shame.

I called for a pickup order, but unfortunately, I had trouble hearing the gentleman. I apologized and said I'd call back shortly because I thought the connection was bad. Then I called back, and I still couldn't hear him well enough to understand what he was saying. I politely explained that I really couldn't understand him. It is very difficult to find a place where they sell really tasty Surinamese roti. Rotiland comes close. This is currently the place with the tastiest roti in Rotterdam that I know.

If you are standing outside you say no, I don't get food there, but once I get food there, you keep going there, large portions and delicious taste

Here you do not pay for nice decorations on the wall, nor do you pay for fancy service. There’s no marketing and no fake smiles. You just pay for the best-dang roti in town. This place is the real deal. That is, if you can make the effort to actually go there, place your order and patiently wait for a bit. Forget delivery, Thuisbezorgd and Uber mess that up more often than I can count nowadays. Just drop by. In return you’ll get the best cost/value roti Rotterdam has to offer. And yes, I’m fully aware of the other places one could go to. Just had the vegan Roti roll with tempeh, potato, pumpkin and vegetable mix. Happy to share that I can safely die in peace now. 🤤

4:30 PM Drive past Rotiland on a beautiful day. Too hot to cook, tasty roti. Cow letters on window open daily from 4:30 PM. Small sign in front of the door saying home delivery turned to closed. Door open. Walk in, ready to apologize if I barged in so early. Just stood there waiting and looking at the map. The owner comes in from outside irritated, 'sir, can you speak Dutch?', arm on my shoulder and pointing to the sign. In the meantime it was already 4:34 PM. Thank you, no more Rotiland for me if this is how they treat customers. Racist that man. Now to Roopram.

The delivery time keeps being postponed, delivery people are being changed, the delivery time is being postponed longer and longer... and when you are tired of waiting and you go to bed (while you politely cancel your order), they just deliver with a smile. 17 euros in costs because you don't have the time/inclination to wait 2 hours for a simple roti...NEVER AGAIN!

Waited 2.5 hours for the food. Then the food was never delivered and I didn't get any money back. Worthless.

I ordered beef and goat roti mix special through Thuisbezorgd. Hands down, it’s the best roti I ever had. Meat was super tender and well seasoned. The pickles added a bit of zing to the whole dish, just DELICIOUS!🤤 The portions are big for a really fair price, they have a huge variety of protein to choose from, a lot of vegan options also! Can’t wait to try more, will never order roti from anywhere else again! 😋

Mocht je hier zijn om de afweging te maken of je hier wilt bestellen/afhalen niet twijfelen maar doen. Het is voor mij als roti liefhebber oprecht de allerlekkerste roti die ik ooit heb gegeten. Laat je niet uit het veld slaan door sommige recensies hier. Ja, het klopt inderdaad dat de eigenaar wat knorrig kan overkomen. Hij is al op leeftijd en niet meer in de allerbeste fysieke gesteldheid. En het klopt inderdaad dat je soms wat langer op je eten moet wachten. Maar alles wordt vers en met liefde bereid en dat proef je. Roti van Rotiland is ongeëvenaard lekker en de porties zijn gul. Kwaliteit wijkt ook nooit af afhankelijk van de drukte. Ik reis, nu ik niet meer in Rotterdam woon, nog al te graag van Den Haag naar Rotterdam om af te halen omdat het eten ondanks alles dit mij het echt waard is. Ik gun de eigenaar een fijn en rustig pensioen maar vraag mij wel af waar ik in dat geval nog ooit roti ga kunnen eten in Nederland van deze kwaliteit :)

Echt heerlijke roti, onze lievelings tent om te bestellen. Vegetarische roti met pompoen, grote porties waar je twee keer s avonds van kan eten. Fijn dat Rotiland weer open is en het weer wat beter gaat met de eigenaar. Een dikke 5 sterren!

Lekker eten goede service, bestel ruim van te voren, neem cash mee en controleer of de bestelling goed is verwerkt. Erg druk en lekker eten en goede service maar weinig mankracht en wachttijd

Oud zaakje... niet veranderd in de 30 jaar dat ik er komt, geld dus ook voor de beste Roti van Rotterdam! En daar draait het tenslotte om.

Ik kom sinds 30 jaar bij deze zaak...zo af en toe haal ik ROTI, Lekker kruidig en smaakt GOED...ik vindt de kwaliteit Heel goed...RESPECT voor degene die sinds 30 jaar en ook vandaag weer eens mijn maaltijd heeft verzorgd.

Fantastisch lekkere eten ook niet te duur!
