City Snack in Binnenstad-Zuid

I placed an order here and paid properly, but after 1.5 hours I received a text message saying the order had been cancelled. No phone call, no refund, no food. Also no option to pick it up myself. In short, do not order here!!!!!!!!

I'm never going here again. I felt like grabbing a tasty snack, and then I saw someone smoking a cigarette on the back stairs inside the shop—super unhygienic. Not for me!

During this interaction, I was confronted with aspects of the service that, in my humble opinion, deviated from the conventional expectations regarding adequate customer service. In particular, it was surprising that an apparently innocent expression of a preference—namely, a frikandel prepared to a medium rare consistency—gave rise to a response that manifested itself in both an unforeseen and non-conforming manner. The behavior of the fry shop manager in question showed traits of exorbitant assertiveness, culminating in a summons to leave the premises. Furthermore, with all due respect and caution, I would like to draw attention to a subtle but no less relevant aspect regarding the personal hygiene of the fry cook in question. In this case, I am referring to suboptimal breath odor. Notwithstanding the sensitivity of this observation, I consider it imperative to continue commendable customer interaction. I hereby advocate for an introspective reflection on the communicative competencies and approach of the staff, in order to ensure that the service at Citysnack Leiden remains congruent with the expectations of the esteemed clientele. I look forward to your considered contemplation regarding this letter and to the implementation of appropriate rectifications to enhance the customer experience within your establishment.

There are many different reviews about City Snack. both good and bad This is my (honest) experience with City Snack. Ordered: 01:34 Expected delivery time: between 30 - 55 minutes. (update: called at 03:00 asking where my food is) Delivered: 03:22 (1 hour, 48 minutes) Ordered: 1 Turkish Doner pizza, cheese and 1 Frikandel Special sandwich Food review: You can't go wrong with a Frikandel sandwich, the Turkish pizza, on the other hand. Seems to have been reheated multiple times, large pieces of chicken, which was hard and tasteless, furthermore there was half a kilo of spices on it with half a bottle of garlic sauce to give the Turkish pizza at least a little flavor. The salad on it was tasteless. My appetite was gone immediately after having to wait 2 hours for my order. I do not recommend anyone eat or order here, unless it is something simple like a frikandel.

Walking quietly home past CitySnack, I was almost run over by one of their delivery drivers who was driving at full speed on the sidewalk. Completely antisocial and life-threatening behavior. If this is the work ethic they consider normal, then something is seriously wrong there.

Food is good but service is bad and staff is quite mean

We get food here every now and then during work and it's always ready quickly!! Huge portions, reasonably priced, and very tasty, salty fries. We will be back.

A new year off to a bad start!😡 This New Year's Eve, I was looking for a tasty snack to satisfy my relentless hunger. I thought I'd finally struck gold with the City Snack, but to my surprise, the atmosphere and service were utterly rude and shoddy. I still thought maybe the food was better than the people working here, but no, it was utterly disgusting. So, if you're a self-respecting person, don't go here.

I regularly go to City Snack and I think the food is delicious. The atmosphere is fantastic. The staff is also friendly. The service is also good. I think it's a fantastic place, highly recommended.

Finally, after waiting an hour for my food, I was no longer hungry. I called after 45 minutes and the man said he was on his way. After another half hour of waiting, I called again for a few more minutes. Absolutely terrible service, definitely not going back! And that on a Tuesday!

SCAM! Where she said they still had döner, we had to make do with 5 tubs of fries for €50. In addition, the staff did not listen to whether or not you wanted something at your hair salon and if you said something you were scolded by the staff. The food was also thrown straight into the bags and was virtually inedible. Never again at this place and can't wait until they close their doors.

Really the most disgusting kapsalon I have ever eaten. Fries were limp and there were maybe 3 pieces of chicken on it. Staff was also downright rude and showed a rather aggressive attitude. Vanavond hadden de mannen alle tijd om ons te helpen, ik wilde graag een broodje wat ze niet op de kaart hebben maar mahmud heeft het met liefde voor me gemaakt, broodje frahmud is het allerlekkerste broodje met gefrituurde kip dat ik ooit gegeten heb! Dankjewel mahmud!!

Jarenlang. Jarenlang heb ik van de downtown en daarna van de comeback van de citysnack genoten. Een verandering vond plaats na corona. Mensen zijn het kwijt. Hebben hun spontaniteit, hun levenslust verloren. Vriendelijk vragen om een zakje eromheen, wordt afgestraft met conflict, frictie en wrijving. Het is niet meer zoals het ooit was. Salut vrienden. Nooit meer city snack

Vandaag besteld via de website van City Snack. Snelle bezorging, eten was goed en verzorgd. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

Ik kom hier regelmatig. Dit komt vooral omdat ik de service echt fantastic vindt. De meneer die de snackbar runt is super vriendelijk en heeft maar een doel voor ogen en dat is tevreden gasten. Ik krijg namelijk het gevoel dat ik een gast ben en niet een van vele klanten.

Kzou never een revieuw over een snackbar plaatsen, maar ik had besteld via uber. De eerste snack waarvan de patat nog heet en krokant was en de rest ook. En ik had saus niet eens appart gevraagd maar zo geven ze het blijkbaar. Lekker veel ook! Topservice thanks
