Four days in Maastricht four days in this place. Every morning starting the day here. The most "coffee" atmosphere in the town. Excellent location, tasteful coffee selection but above all: the kindest employees with fast service and high efficiency. A must go for coffee lovers

Pricey, but really tasty. The tomato soup is especially recommended.

I was here a few months ago, when you enter you are immediately at the bar where I wanted to order, but I was allowed to take a seat because they take orders at the table. Very nice, I thought. After 20 minutes I still didn't see any staff, so I left. I was actually sitting 2m from the bar…. Tried again today. I immediately sat down at a table. Quite quickly someone came to take my order: one drink. This then took over 10 minutes before I got it. Staff is very slow. Café is quite busy, there are many groups of students, all with laptops, very noisy. I also saw people who wanted to quietly read a book, which was difficult with so much chatter. The music is also quite loud. Not the place to sit quietly, this is more of a student café. Too bad, because the location is perfect for hikers coming from the staff. Students should sit with the coffelovers in the library opposite.

The food is surprising but not very special. And what is on the menu is not always available. That's already gone. That suggests fresh products and that's how it tastes. The staff are mainly students, but they are extremely friendly and helpful. Finally, the atmosphere, which is really cozy. A nice inspiring environment to drink coffee. Also take a look at the nice portrait photos of enjoying people on the wall. And that coffee is really tasty. When the sun shines you can also sit and enjoy the terrace. If you come to Maastricht, this neighborhood is highly recommended, but especially the coffee in this shop.

Cool design nice staff and good food & coffee. Works as a study space but only at certain times when not overcrowded!

Great place for a delicious coffee with something tasty or lunch

Busy on Sundays around brunch time, but Blanche dael's delicious coffee makes up for a lot. Small pieces of cake, generous cappuccino, friendly, fast service.

A lovely place. Cozy, very well decorated. We were on Christmas vacation, making a good breakfast. The attentive and efficient staff. The price a little raised. In a very central location in Maastricht, in a busy square and with parking in the basement. We will return.

I've been coming to pick up my coffee almost every day for 2 years. At least €1300 per year, for a coffee that costs €5.05! Last Tuesday at 8.40am I was severely ignored by a tall gentleman with brown hair who must have had a very irritating life. I waited for long minutes at the take away counter without any sign of attention (and I was the only one for a take away!), afterwards the gentleman also decided to have someone else come for me because I received a call - but of course he was still available to give my daily same order! Result? 0 respect, 0 hospitality and I wasted my time there! Hopefully something will be done about this.

Very good place on the way from bus station to the Maastricht city center. Close to Albert Hijn. Very friendly team and excellent service. Great coffee and veryytasty food. Strongly recommended.

Coffeelovers is the place to be. Delicious food and drinks and lots of choice. It is recommended to come back more often! At several locations in Maastricht, but at plein 92 you personally have the best seat!

We had a very tasty breakfast here. Whether pancakes, a healthy breakfast with quark or a French breakfast with croissants, we enjoyed everything! The cocoa and coffee were also good.

This is my weekly go to cafe when I miss a good cuppa in Maastricht.

A very large and spacious place, it has both an outdoor area and an interior with very spacious tables... so large that it is also possible to share or sit with other people at the same table. Very broad menu between sweet and savory and there is also a brunch menu with an acai bowl, a small juice, coffee or any other drink and other things at an affordable price. I took a savory pancake, that is, with eggs, bacon, rocket and with blueberries on top and some maple syrup to taste. Very good, the pancake was tall and very soft as I like it. As I said before, the menu is very broad, in fact we also have cakes, both sweet and savory brioches, sandwiches, focaccias and burgers.

It was very warm but otherwise cozy. Lots of students learning.

Voor de koffie gebruiken ze bonen van koffiebranderij Blanche Dael uit Maastricht. De cappuccino’s waren prima. De citroen-gember cake was wat droog en had een wat minder prettige nasmaak door de gember, zo vonden wij. Het personeel was vriendelijk.

I am extremely disappointed with the Coffee lovers Plein 1992, they have an extremely rude barista and he was very rude to me and my husband today. He mixed up our order to go AGAIN and we realized after paying that he overcharged us and when we told him this, he ignored us and said “you already paid so I don’t care”. I think this is unacceptable also someone needs to teach this guy how to make a coffee!!!

I don't drink coffee myself, but I hear it is very tasty. Lots of choice for breakfast/lunch. Very large terrace outside looked a bit unpleasant. Inside also very large. I had a chicken sandwich which was tasty but tasted more like toast and thought it was quite pricey. Someone had tuna sandwich...carpaccio and something with avocado. The last one was very small compared to the rest. It all looked nice. So for coffee lovers I think heavenly but not for me

Coffeelovers Plein 1992 / Blanche Dael is a perfect spot to relax, have a great cup/ glass of coffee, a delectable bite and catch up on conversation ( as it is a wi-fi free zone). This place has a history with coffee going couple of hundred years. We were in Maastricht for a day and luckily found this amazing place. For almost the first time, the coffee was just the right temperature and not luke warm as I normally get in my hometown of Seattle. The service was with humor and smile. The food authentic and imaginative. And there is enough room to spread and relax.

Edit: 1/5. If they have to have French breakfast, 9 times out of 10 it is "sold out", then just buy more. Yet again Coffeelovers' bad policy. If you go all the way there, it will be gone at 9:50 am. (The coffee and the French breakfast are very nice. The other food is not great and the price/quality for the other items is not that great to be honest. The coffee is just good and you should actually go for that too, not for lunch. The staff is always very friendly and the atmosphere is great.)

The food does not compliment the service or the atmosphere. Like most food served in Maastricht. it's all being sourced from the "sligro" (wholesale supermarket). Food quality and culinary choice has been on a downhill slope ever since. Diversity in quality GONE.

We always enjoy coming back to drink a cappuccino or eat delicious snacks. Nice atmosphere whether inside or outside. It's close to the city and not as crowded as in the city. 💕

The beer is very good and a nice location. Only didn't eat here because the ladies toilets were really dirty.

Relaxed in the sun on a full terrace. Friendly, hardworking staff create a good atmosphere. Nice strong coffee and then a delicious lunch. Foccacia Caprese with Lemon Lemonade. Plenty of other options to choose from.

The perfect place for brunch..☕️🍳 As an avocado toast lover, this dish cannot be missed in this cafe. The fried egg obscured the avocado toast from view but I can say it was great.

Today i visit Coffee lovers at plein 1992 in the centre ceramique i want to get a cafe latte to go the list say € 5,10 then the bartender ask me € 5,20 just for a paper cup i must pay € 0,10 more they dont sign it out so look out at coffee lovers they scam you.

Make sure you communicate in Dutch otherwise they would let you wait for your order forever.Very unprofessional customer service.

Very strange experience here. 09:20 in the morning and plenty of space outside. I sit down and scan the on table code to order. I have placed my laptop on the table. I am approached by the waitress to be told I cannot sit outside as laptops are banned? OK I say - why ? Shoulder shrug - the boss says so. So I move inside as asked and sit economically 1 person at a table for 2 and I am then told I must sit at a specific table - I’m sure the coffee is great but to say the place is precious would be an understatement- enjoy but make sure your the right type of customer and sit in the correct space 😣

Here you can get delicious coffee and also have a very good breakfast or lunch. The menu often contains surprising dishes and the quality is excellent. It can be a bit busy there, but that is also an indication that it is a popular place to go.

Genoten van een heerlijk caramel crunch koffie met lekker gember / citroen cake. Helaas was het terras niet open maar op een bankje smaakt deze koffie ook lekker. Zeer vriendelijke bediening

Vandaag koffie gaan drinken: nooit meer onder deze omstandigheden. Krijg hier een heel eng gevoel welke mensen tijdens de 2e wereldoorlog ook gehad moeten hebben. Allereerst wordt je coronapas gescand/gecontroleerd waarna je je i.d. moet laten zien. Kom hier al jaren maar dit was echt voorlopig de laatste keer.
