I love coming here for the coffee, which is really good! Unfortunately, the chairs aren't very comfortable, and the other offerings are a bit disappointing. Most snacks and pastries are prepackaged and quite expensive, and the "goodies" like croissants are out in the open, so they don't always look fresh. It's fine for a quick coffee, but for true relaxation, I'll look for somewhere else.

Only one person is working. He's not doing his job by talking to other people.

Those laptop-wielding folks who come to take advantage of the Wi-Fi and the warmth, who occupy every table but consume little to nothing, should be kept out. A queue in a nearly empty restaurant? The menu is also quite limited.

I come in for an iced coffee, and am immediately confronted with a sourpuss. ‘Hello’ I hear with a surprised undertone. I think yes whatever it is 30 degrees. Good afternoon, can I have an iced coffee. ‘Yes what size’ the largest I say. Before I could give her my cash she had already walked away to chat with her colleague. Then she walks back surprised because the ATM started beeping. I say, I want to pay with cash, I get a smack in the face with her smart face ‘yes that is not possible’ as if I can smell that as far as I know cash is just legal tender. Then I took my money back and said yes then that is it. I found it to be mildly put not customer friendly. And for miss piggy, if you do not like your job then find something else. Shortly afterwards I went to Buon giorgnio where the iced coffee is tastier and cheaper by the way. Coffeecompany is definitely not worth repeating.

Matcha with coconut milk and strawberry to be picked up. Sorry, but what a nasty mess. It already looked spoiled — you could see those white flakes in it, just like with sour milk. Ugh. Immediately dumped it in the gutter.

A waiter with long hair, avoid! Totally inappropriate, he can't stand those who don't speak his language, doesn't try to understand foreigners, and discriminates!

Nice place for a coffee break or to work with your laptop.

First (and probably last) time I came here for a coffee. €6.20 for a cappuccino is steep, but I thought: let me try it. The wooden tables radiate as much warmth as the staff — cold and uninterested. I accidentally spill my coffee on a laptop (my own fault, absolutely), but what I don't get: no empathy at all. No help, not a word — until I gave half a cup back because I simply didn't feel like it anymore. Then suddenly: "Does your laptop still work?" Too bad, because the place had potential. But atmosphere is not only created with plants and prices, you create it with people. And they were missing here.

I normally find staff nice here. But the other day one blond staff ignored me when I asked her if this is my coffee, made me the most horrible soy latte, 5 euro, looks and tastes like the milk gone bad. I cannot tell if she did this on purpose or what. Never order soy milk latte here

Has become my regular coffee shop! Very friendly staff, nice coffee and a good atmosphere. Perfect place to open your laptop and do your own thing or to catch up with friends or family.

A very pleasant café for breakfast. The choice of drinks is vast, the pastries very good and the team very friendly. The place is comfortable with a variety of spaces to sit: armchairs, benches and two superb tables (reuse of beams).

Coffee quality is so bad. Not even worth 1 euro. Whole place sometimes smells like the bathroom whenever anyone opens the bathroom door. Place is not clean and chairs are torn. So sad i used to love the place

Located next to the XO Blue Tower hotel, this café is an excellent place for breakfast or a gourmet break. I have been there twice and each visit has been very pleasant. The staff is friendly and smiling. The choice of drinks is vast, with several sizes available, and the range of pastries is also well stocked. I particularly recommend their smoothies as well as the caramel cappuccino! One of the assets of this café is its space: it is much larger than a classic café, with different seating options. You can sit on a classic table, in individual or shared sofas, which makes the place comfortable for both working and relaxing. The atmosphere is pleasant and bright thanks to the large windows that surround the place. Whether for a takeaway coffee or to enjoy the on-site setting, it’s an address that I recommend!

It is one of my favorite places in the neighborhood to study/work quietly behind my laptop. Although the staff is a bit unpleasant (you never feel welcome). Despite that, this doesn't stop me from just doing my thing and enjoying my delicious cup of morning coffee.

€5 for what the waiter calls a mountain of foam with cappuccino bubbles. Teach them how to make regular coffee or find professional baristas. also a call to the owner of the cafe: if two young girls make fun of a guest while standing behind the bar, give them another task and no service. horrible

We ordered filters coffee and they gave us Americano when we asked why, they said we don’t have filter coffee, OK! if you don’t have let me know, don’t make something we don’t order.

Upon entering we could just find a spot on the couch next to a dead plant because all the spots were occupied by people who had taken up two spots with a chair for a coat and bag and were sitting behind their laptop with a dried up cup that had once contained coffee. There is no room at a table because they are all occupied. The staff does nothing at all to ensure that people do not have drinks, making room for customers who may also want to eat something. Coffee is not hot. Cappuccino in a cup with some foam. on top scandalous .

usually very friendly baristas but 2 ladies ruined it for this whole place, I haven't been there for a while. I also advise everyone against it. A young girl with short blond hair and a light black woman. Fortunately, the arrogant black woman (who only tries to speak American) is gone after several collisions with customers, but unfortunately the blonde is still there. I came here every day. Can I file a complaint against her somewhere?

Prices are very high for what you get/quality.

Cozy atmosphere and delicious cakes

A nice place to tap away on the laptop while enjoying a good cup of coffee. The staff is always very friendly (this is sometimes described as arrogant by new customers, but that is more the insecurity). Unfortunately, prices are also on the rise here, but that is unfortunately a fact of life in Amsterdam and the surrounding area.

I recently visited ‘coffeecompany’ and while the atmosphere was pleasant, the coffee itself was disappointing, especially considering the price. At €4 a small cup, I expected something much better. The presentation was underwhelming, and the cappuccino was overly foamy to the point where it felt like I was drinking more air than coffee. The taste didn’t stand out either far too bland for what I had hoped would be a premium experience. Overall, it didn’t live up to the price tag, and I’ve had much better for less. Not worth the cost.

On 13th of September at 2:40pm. This was potentially the worst experience I have ever had in a coffee shop. We ordered 2 Americanos to go and a take away bun 20 mins before an apartment viewing. The coffee never arrived which led us to tell the staff that we need to go to the viewing and we will come and have our coffees then. We then returned 20 mins later and had to wait another 15 mins for 2 Americanos (espresso shot & hot water). We then actaully never received them and had to leave before collecting our Americanos as our train was arriving. So in total we wasted 40 minutes in this coffee shop with receiving a coffee. Would not recommend.

Wow, Tuesday, 8 am coffee nice sever tallwith blonde hair. Wednesday, 8 am coffee served by tall friendly lady. Thursday, Oh my heavens! I stupidly went in for a coffee, the lady said something to me so I went to the counter to order. "You have to step back!!" The lady barked at me! ( I am not a dog!) "You have to wait till we open" "You have to wait outside!!!) Oh? So why are there 2 other people waiting on chairs? It was 8am and i don't need a telling off when I'm going to work. In your city. Makes no odds to me, there's plenty of place to get a coffee in Amsterdam but what a rude horrible woman!! It's right by where I'm staying but I'll never to to a coffee company ever again! Dkv.

Coffee that is excessively expensive and of poor quality, the food is shameful, everything frozen and from previous days, all this added to prices that are too high. Not recommended.

A place where employees are not interested in customers, but talk to each other. I've been coming there for years, but last year their coffee was cold, expensive and tasteless. It's no longer worth coming

This is the worst branch of coffee company ever. Long lines, slow service, high prices even higher than in the city centre and after long waiting they just tell you we don't have filter coffee. What a joke.

You would think that if you get a small coffee here for 5 euros, you would at least get good service. Unfortunately that is not the case. There are slow employees behind the bar who look like they've pulled a three-nighter and feel too good for this job. Are you having trouble figuring out exactly what you want? Then you're out of luck, because instead of helping you, they point to the menu on the wall while staring at you with an irritated, lethargic look. I ordered a coffee to go but received it in a normal glass. When I pointed this out, they reluctantly put it in a to-go cup. Very unfortunate, because it is a good location to sit during my break, but I will certainly not come here again.

I come here more often because it is close to work, but I have bad experiences every time. The staff is usually unfriendly and gives dirty looks, the quality of the coffee is also poor. It really depends on the barista because there is also a boy who makes really good coffee, but the last few times it really wasn't good. Not well frothed as you can see in the photo, due to the unfriendly attitude of the staff you do not feel the space to say anything about this. More than 5 euros for a cappuccino here is really not worth the money. Shame…

I have never before experienced such an outstanding employee as this young man today around 12 o'clock. Not customer friendly at all. Don't greet. Not worthy of a look as if I came to get free coffee. The same goes for the lady who made the coffee and made no contact at all. What's wrong with you guys I guess? Then look for work in a warehouse where you won't meet people. Coffee, by the way, was super lukewarm! Despite having indicated that I did not want it to be lukewarm. I'll never come here again. In short, people, you really save the effort and money for this expensive lukewarm, dirty coffee + sour cashier and barista. Walk a few minutes further to Elmos where you get coffee and service!

Great place to work if you dont need internet

They have seasonal coffees. My favorite is the pumpkin one. They also offer croissants and a variety of sweets, but I'm not a big fan of them. The atmosphere is peaceful and calm. The staff, depending on the day, can be friendly or not. Prices are high considering the quality.

The main impression is "overpriced coffee", where two cups of coffee were 11 euro, while the taste of the iced latte was really nothing special (just milk). It didn't reflect it's price for sure. It's a cute and cosy place but it is overtaken by laptops and people working (which is I believe is within the concept of the cafe). The staff working are nice yet quite distant; I was missing the engagement with the customer. Their muffins and cakes looked nice, but also a bit overpriced for what you get.

I have been coming here regularly for more than 3 years and it has now become my favorite coffee shop. Lovely employees and coffee is prepared quickly but with quality. There is a pleasant atmosphere and everyone who comes there does their own thing, there is always nice music in the background. The only thing that would be even better is an expansion of this branch as it is almost always full :)

I didn't have good experiences. I always go to coffeecompany when I come to Amsterdam. The employees were joking at work and are not attentive when taking orders. Waited 20 minutes for the toast.

After buying a koffie strippenkaart, I am actually paying 10% more per coffee if you drink cortados (instead of the discount of 10%-20% which is promised on the menu). Also, the WiFi barely works, so I had to use my personal hotspot. Not an ideal place to drink coffee or use internet, if that is what you are looking for.

I always appreciated the sense of ease and freedom this cafe offered – the ability to just sit, sip, and immerse myself in whatever work or leisure activity I brought along. The only downside was when closing time rolled around, and I had to pack up and leave. This cafe is a real asset to the neighborhood, offering a welcoming space for residents to enjoy great coffee and unwind. It's the kind of place that becomes part of your daily routine, a local haven for relaxation and refreshment.

I ordered a medium cafe latte extra hot, but I received a lukewarm cafe latte... And the waitress didn't seem too happy to ask for a proper cafe latte. Only a free medium cafe latte could improve my review 😉😉😉

I really enjoyed going to CC but left with a bad feeling. We won't be coming back here anytime soon. We often go to CC in the Netherlands with our stamp card. There was 0 customer friendliness at this location. I actually wanted to leave but I went to CC specifically for my iced coffee. The lady did not greet me, looked at me as if she “had” to stand there and asked very bluntly what I wanted. I was silent for a moment and greeted her myself. Normally I ask how things are going and like to have a chat, but this felt so unpleasant. I told them that I had a stamp card and placed my order. With every extra (oat milk, whipped cream) I became more and more difficult to look at. As if it would take too much effort to make it. I couldn't help but smile and I felt so uncomfortable and uncomfortable. Very bluntly and unenthusiastically, she repeated the order and said I could wait. I actually wanted to leave, but you pay quite a bit for your drink, so we waited quietly. When she indicated that the drink was ready, I had to pick it up and I really felt like a number. No nice day, no smile, no contact? I asked for a lid and straw. When I asked for a napkin afterwards, it also seemed too difficult or too much. A male colleague gave me some napkins. I thanked him, said goodbye and left. Drink was okay but not great. You can taste whether it is made with love/well or otherwise. I just don't want to come back here again just because of the bad service and unpleasant feeling from the female employee. The question for Stephanie from CC who responds to the reviews is how this is possible? How are employees trained when it comes to customer friendliness and service? The tip is to really focus on this, because you will lose your (regular) customers. I also read in previous reviews that you can indicate this to the barista so that you get a new coffee. This is not possible, because the barista is not approachable, so the message will not get through. We hope you understand this. Good luck with the improvements and developments! We are going to other locations for the time being.

This used to be my go to study place when I lived in Amsterdam Nieuw-west. It has great vibes and a wonderful ambience to get your work done :) Located at Bos en Lommerplein, it is also a nice location. For the 1 year I kept coming here, staff has always been very friendly and nice. It is a bit pricey, but if you take into account that you are using their space, I think it is a good ambience and a great location.

I love this place! It’s my go to place almost everyday and I definitely enjoy the ambience and atmosphere. The staff are always very kind and friendly. I occasionally enjoy going there to sit and read my book on weekends. One thing that can be improved is the cleanliness. I noticed off late that it feels and seems untidy overall and the throw cushions where I usually enjoy sitting to read don’t feel and seem very clean. For that reason, I don’t go there much these days to just lounge and read.

Coole coffeeshop. Ik kom uit Spanje en ben een aantal dagen bij mijn familie in de omgeving gebleven. Ik vond deze cafetaria bij toeval en dankzij Google en vanaf de eerste dag wist ik dat ik niet moest veranderen. Bedankt, voor de behandeling, het eten, de professionaliteit... Voor alles. Ik was en voelde me thuis. We komen terug!

The personal is very sweet, I recommend to visit it, the ambient it's pretty comfort and the coffee and food tastes good, the playlist that they play it's pretty cool tho. I would come back whenever I wanted a cheap and tasteful breakfast🫶🏻

Not always a fan of coffeecompany locations but this is, surprisingly, a nice airy spot on the corner of bosenlommerplein. Pretty good vibe. The coffee is ok, the food generally pretty good, but quite a few of the staff are utterly charmless automatons. No smiles, no eye contact or recognition, usually limited knowledge of the actual coffee and stunned that I would ask about the origin of the Single Origin bean ("oh, dont know, let me check the bag"), just doing a job. I think it is a common trend among young people in the service industry to be honest but I think coffeecompany can continue to work on this.

The place closes as 18 so I scheduled a coffee with a friend at 17. We were there 17 sharp, my friend wanted a tosti and I wanted a fresh orange juice from the machine, but the attendant said we could not have it because she had already cleaned the grill and the orange juice machine ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I paid $5.60 on a croissant and a sparkling water. Never again
