STACH Food in Chassébuurt

The place is wonderful and the food is very tasty. However, I was really disappointed today: the girl who prepared my sandwich was clearly sick and struggling with a runny nose. This is disrespectful and unacceptable — you shouldn’t come to work and prepare food for customers when you have the flu. If you’re sick, you should stay home.

I’ve lived just down the road from this Stach for the last 3 months - it’s been the biggest joy & weekly treat of mine! The staff are always so lovely & friendly, and make the best decaf cappuccino in town. I also love their chocolate oat cookies! Thank you so much ❤️

i was served by the most fabulous tall blonde girl, who's an absolute doll!!! would absolutely go back just chat with her again!!!!

We were served by a tall blonde girl with filler lips and a bored attitude. She seated us next to a garbage bag. There must be a shortage of decent staff this day and age.

Coffee is fine, however meringue smells mold.

Definitely a recommended place! I got a nice coffee tonight and had a nice chat with the blonde barista. Nice atmosphere and I will definitely come back here!

Matcha latte was lumpy and brown in color, can throw away

Stach has increased prices without indicating this on the menus. paid without watching and was not allowed to cancel or get a refund.

A cute little corner coffeeshop with delicious pastries in the window! A half a block away, this same shop had a sit down cafe option (this one was a sweet grab and go cafe). The cappuccino was tasty and the juices really hit the spot. I later learned theres quite a few Stache Cafes in Amsterdam and thats cool because they do offer healthy stuff to grab and go plus the coffee was great!

There is no atmosphere or service, clearly a yuppie place. I knew they have bad taste but this… Everything organic and fresh, yet I almost broke my teeth on those “fresh” cookies, never again.

When they ask you if you want white or brown bread, they should clearly say that brown bread costs €0,55 more and not look at you like you’re some idiot because you don’t immediately connect ‘pumpkin break’ with brown bread after they just go ahead and charge you €7,50 for a sandwich that is advertised as €6,95 and you don’t know why there is a price difference. Either make it crystal clear or don’t charge people extra for their choice of bread. Bad communication.

I only had a gluten-free bread loaf here, but it was beautiful and the staff was so friendly, asking if I wanted it re-warmed. Heck yeah I did. So good. And it went along so well with my wine, coffee, and chicken —all from other specialty places. Not sure if they still have those rustic gf loaves still; but they had them way before gf was as much of a thing and I appreciate that immensely.

Megalief wat er net gebeurde!! Mijn bankpas was verlopen bleek 😩 en ik had géén contant bij mij. Maar na een drukke werkdag waarbij ik de lunch had gemist, was ik echt toe aan een broodje. Van de jonge dame mocht ik voor niets een heerlijke koek met stukjes chocola. Hoe lief! Echt een life saver! 🙏🏽 Mijn dank is groot en dat krijg je zeker nog terug dame. Pay it forward 🍀En LEKKER dat het koekje was! Rijkelijk gevuld en machtig. Alles zag er heerlijk uit binnen. Ga ik zeker nog eens terug aangezien ik hier 1x in de 3 maanden in de buurt moet zijn.

Quality is good, but extremely overpriced products in my opinion.

One of the few places that is open so early in the morning. The staff is nice and there is a lot of unique food to select. It’s also a very nice addition that you can sit (inside or outside) for a coffee + croissant.

Een kartonnen beker heet water en een theezakje.: € 3,15 !!!! ze serveerden geen koffie meer (20:30 uur) lekker klantvriendelijk dus . En dan nog alleen kunnen betalen met pin. Eens maar nooit meer.

Heel lekker broodje avocado en tomaat, klinkt simpel maar ik zat oprecht te genieten. Koffietje erbij en een chill sfeer. 👌🏽

Hippie place with mediocre food. Overpriced for what it offers. Macroon costs 10 euro a box and a total waste of money. And on the box it didn't state essential information such as producer, date of production, etc.

Amazing food and great personnel. The women managing this place a truly nice and accommodating. Bio food and specialities! Great quality. A bit small (this one), but full of what they possibly can stash on those tiny shelves.

Great opening hours, cappuccino is always satisfying/above average and the cookies are quite good.

Duur, maar alles is lekker. Luxe delicatesse zaak.

מקום חמוד, הם מוכרים אוכל מוכן, גם טבעוני, ועוד כל מיני חטיפים, תה, שוקולדים ומתוקים ושתייה. יש אווירה היפסטרית. מאד אהבתי ואני ממליצה על סוג של מאפה שהם מוכרים, זה ריבוע מצופה שוקולד חלב שממולא בחמאת בוטנים, אחד הטעימים.

If you like penuts butter cups like I do, this is your place.. Everything here is a bit outside of the standard.. Maybe for that a bit overpriced.. The service is very friendly

Te lang wachten op een veel te dure, bijna koude koffie. Personeel is onhandig en niet efficient.

Really delicious stroopwafels and their red velvet brownies is also excellent. Delicious and high quality snacks and food.

Not only they have the loveliest staff but also their fresh bread and pastries are the best in Amsterdam! + hint: they always have some cookies left on the counter for tasting! 🍪😄

Leuke plek, zou nog leuker zijn als ze meer glutenvrij en melkvrij combinaties hadden. Zou wensen dat we dit ook in Eindhoven hadden!

Great brownies and good selection of products for healthy foodies. Depends on who's working how good the coffee is.

Great sandwiches. Delicious chai latte. Fun upbeat music and friendly

Op zich lekker eten en koffie. Maar beetje jammer dat je er als klant niet mag plassen. Terwijl ze wel een wc hebben én tafeltjes (en dus drank schenken). Maar de wc is "niet voor klanten". Niet bepaald klantvriendelijk dus.

I normally go on the weekends. But went in here for a friday morning breakfast. Cuppaccino has almost no foam, it’s like pouring milk on top. Chocolate crossiant is dense and chocolate unmelted. It was pretty meh. Stick with their sandwich then you’d be fine. Crossiants are not their forte. The cafe tables are also really dirty. I went in at a little pass 8am, so I’m pretty much the first customer who sat on that table, and the table is filled with crumbs and the flies are flying around the food. Quite nasty.
