Ordered through Thuisbezorgd. It took over an hour for our food to arrive. Okay, not a huge disaster. But the fries were soggy, and the croquettes were all squashed and not warm at all. The chicken nuggets tasted like nothing.

The food tastes good but that old woman acts as if she is forced by the government to take army training every day, she sighs and gives antisocial answers to questions

Excellent price and quality, but absolutely no charm... a shame for such a unique waterfront location. From the outside, it doesn't look inviting at all anymore.

We have been coming here for years because of the Hello (formerly Retropop and before that back to the 80's) festival and see the business deteriorate further and further. What a grumpy gentleman in the business this year. Really didn't feel like it! Previously you could read exactly on the wall what was available and for what price but that is no longer properly maintained, only a few things are still hanging. Menus such as a farmer's schnitzel, which I was looking forward to, are no longer available. "Then you should go next door" was said by the unfriendly gentleman, "a menu is not possible during festivals, we have stopped doing that". Previous years we came here for that! So we ordered 2x fries with 2 croquette rolls and a frikandel roll. That took 18 minutes and it was not busy. That tasted not bad, but the price is! Almost twenty euros, also because of the mayonnaise and mustard that you have to buy separately. Definitely not a good price-quality ratio! Also, the tables and chairs outside look awful, and some of the tables and chairs have a cable lock on them so you can't sit down. GOLDEN GLORY. Hopefully the new owner will be better, but that's not so difficult!

Very dissatisfied. Ordered 5 piri piri chicken. There are hairs between the chicken in three containers. Please call to let us know. You will be told what should I do about this, madam. This is unacceptable. Customer unfriendly.

Had a nice evening but unfortunately got food poisoning from the chicken satay. That is of course not pleasant for anyone, but certainly not if you are 32 weeks pregnant. Wouldn't go there again anytime soon.

Ordered fries and snacks at the snack bar, once but never again. What unusual prices.

Ordered pork tenderloin satay. When I get home I see that it is 3 small skewers of satay. That's it, without anything added. Outrageous for such a large amount. Called, oh yes, I forgot the adjar and 3 pieces of prawn crackers. They wanted to do it, but it could take a while... Never mind, we won't come again, €15 for 3 skewers of satay without anything added (well, 3 pieces of prawn crackers...)

Nice eatery with an extensive menu. Delicious food for a good price. Friendly waiting staff. Just a tip: If you ask for a glass of water to take your medication, you will be charged 1.50 euros. That's quite a thing.

I ordered pancakes with apple and coffee. I waited 40 minutes for my order. The pancakes were white and absolutely tasteless. It's good that the waitress brought powder and sauce. The restaurant itself is on the water and in a beautiful location.

I brought back my raw potato in the form of fries, 5 employees including the chip baker and manager stand in front of the fries and swear that these are well-made fries. The baking lady herself swears that it was baked for 6 minutes. But it was white and raw. Unbelievable 5 steel faces swear it's good like I've never eaten fries before. On a sunny Sunday evening I spontaneously decided to have a bite to eat here. What a disappointment... After looking at the wine list we wanted to order the rosé. Unfortunately, this was no longer available. Then we ordered a white wine and a coke and immediately asked for the menu. The gentleman at our table mumbled something from which we noticed that there were still 4 full tables in front of us and we could then order. Could take 20 minutes. By now we had already decided to eat somewhere else. But okay, let's have a nice drink on the terrace. We then had to wait at least fifteen minutes. When I brought the coke and wine, the full glass of wine fell over my husband's clothes. This can happen of course and a cloth was then brought. The glass of coke and a new glass of wine would be brought immediately. After we had not received anything after 10 minutes, we left. In short; a catering establishment in a prime location but where people really don't understand how to deal with guests, which is a shame...

Local review has rated this restaurant anonymously, after several emails asking whether they still sell raspfries, no email was returned. Furthermore, the hygiene is not recommended, we tested it and it scores below average. Our advice is also not to go here because of suspicions of food poisoning. Actually not worth any stars, sorry.. 1 is already too many. This could be a beautiful place on the water, but it is so poorly managed. We asked if there was a possibility to have dinner within an hour due to a planned appointment afterwards. On advice, we ordered simple fries and a chicken schnitsel with an extra side dish of vegetables. Then it took 45 minutes for the fries to arrive. Then it took another fifteen minutes before the chicken schnitzel was brought. This was flat and more like black breadcrumbs if there was any recognizable meat in it. Unfortunately, the mushroom sauce from a ready-made bag is also tasteless. A large white plate with 1 black schnitzel under watery sauce. Nothing else, nothing at all. We asked, will you still bring the vegetables? These arrived 7 minutes later. Did we like it... No, not really. And we have never had to indicate this so clearly anywhere. If people do their best, you won't burn it out. But this lady said the same thing to three other tables as she did to us: how annoying that... and then stoically paid the full price. Please note: We also saw an entire family happily taking a seat on the terrace, and after they asked the waitress 3 times... they left for a better opportunity. If only we had done this, it would be a waste of money. Several dissatisfied guests and above all, doing nothing about it. Nice spot on the water and good parking, but no salt and pepper shakers or flowers on the table yet. Well... it could be so beautiful. Time for another more enthusiastic operator?

Had dinner here tonight, lovely warm summer day on the water. The terrace was half empty and plenty of seats. However, the service took some time. Finally ordered something to drink after which the menu was brought. Ordering took forever due to the clumsy automated system. Asked how long it would take because we had an appointment elsewhere 2 hours later. But 'it was very busy and they couldn't give any guarantees'. (Terrace was half empty). The food only came after 45 minutes for one person and the other person had to wait another 10 minutes. Around us you heard people grumbling or leaving with unfinished business. My dining companion's food was a major disappointment, but my chip shop was ok. It's strange that you have to pay separately for all the sauces. My dining companion left half of it, the cauliflower was half raw and tasteless, the fried potatoes had barely seen the skillet and the schnitzel was too sad for words. This was reported to the waiter and all that was said was 'that's a shame'. No compensation or concession whatsoever. No tip was given at checkout, which was clearly not appreciated by the staff. Couldn't say good evening. In short, it's a sad affair there, far too expensive for the dishes and service that doesn't make you happy. Too bad because the location could be a gold mine.

Took a very long time for our group to be refilled, and completely empty, I would have liked some fish, but it was always empty.

Great place to have a nice meal or, on the other hand, a nice fries! In the evening it is transformed into a cozy pub! With the occasional dart match. Nice place to watch football while enjoying a beer and a tasty drink! Highly recommended for a Friday or Saturday evening!

Agradeço q não vejam esta critica como negativa mas com a possibilidada de melhorar de modo a stisfazer os clientes !👍 Outro ponto negativo q é simples de resolver as listas estão em Holandês dava jeito uma ou outra lista em Inglês 👍

Mooi gelegen. Personeel en eigenaar trots op zijn restaurant. Echt aan plas gelegen Grote porties . Prima kwaliteit. Leuk geprijst. Volop genieten dus. Verdienen dus ook de 5 sterren.

Vandaag heerlijk gegeten. Wat een goede service en aardig personeel. Het eten was heerlijk. Ik raad zeker de mosterdsoep en de boerenomelet aan. Bedankt voor dit heerlijk eten.

De frietjes kwamen pas toen de rest van het menu al op was. Service was matig. Het terras ligt mooi aan de rietplas en het strandje.

Goed eten en vriendelijk personeel tegen een goede prijs

De plek is echt fantastisch aan het water. Helaas was het eten echt onder de maat (vlees ongelijkmatig te/niet gaar, saus met klonten er in, ui ipv champignons in champignonsaus). Bediening deed haar best maar een vol terras lukt niet met maar 1 capabel iemand. Ze zijn ons na het uithalen van de hoofdgerecht borden gewoon 'vergeten' en we zijn na 40 minuten maar naar binnen gelopen om een ijsje te bestellen.

Heb 1 patat stoofvlees besteld voor bezorgen. De patat stoofvlees komt koud aan en de bezorger was ook niet bepaald aardig. De patat stoofvlees was meer dan 10 euro en vervolgens krijg je een groot bakje met maar een paar patatjes met wat stoofvlees geen goeie verhouding vergeleken met de prijs. Ik raad het niet aan om hier te bestellen

Jammer dat ze om 20.45 al dicht waren op zondag terwijl ze tot 21.00 uur open zouden zijn, dan maar geen ijs met 30 graden

Hier een feestje gevierd met een lopend buffet. We hadden fantastisch weer dus konden lekker buiten zitten. Er was een gedeelte afgeschermd voor het feest zodat je geen last had van overige klanten. Het buffet was fantastisch. Goed en veel eten. De bediening van het drinken kan beter. Er stonden vaak lege glazen. Het buffet is een aanrader.

Prima, hele mooie locatie. Gratis en ruim parkeren. Prettig personeel, zeer gastvrij.

Prima plekje voor een gezellige hap aan de waterkant. Borrelplankje was niet heel rijkelijk en de chocomel niet echt warm maar je betaald ook niet de hoofdprijs. Dikke prima dus 👍

Op een koude zaterdag hier gestopt voor de lunch. Fijn om binnen op te warmen, dubbele deuren houden de kou buiten. Eerst een Cappuccino besteld. Was prima en kwam met lekker koekje en slagroom. Uitsmijter ham+kaas en een gehaktbal besteld. Tafelgenoot had patat kapsalon. Duurde best lang voordat het eten kwam terwijl we de eerste en enige klanten waren. Patat kapsalon was flinke portie en was lekker. In plaats van uitsmijter kreeg ik omelet. Op zich prima maar niet besteld, ivm tijdgebrek niets van gezegd. Omelet was goed gevuld en lekker. De gehaktbal was ook erg lekker. Bediening was vriendelijk. Inrichting van de zaak met schilderijen van bekende pop/rockzangers. Mooi uitzicht over de plas waar geschaatst werd. De schaatsers mochten in het restaurant met schaatsen aan opwarmen. Mooie lokatie en prima gegeten, jammer van de lange wachttijd voor het eten.

Het eten was heel erg lekker! Leuke plek om te zien ook buiten.
