Atmosphere and service decent. The food though. Amsterdam is expensive and that’s fine. But this place is like getting robbed on the sidewalk. If you come for the nice looking pancakes, knock yourself out. I wanted a sandwich. “Chicken, onion compote, french cheese” I got cubes of dry chicken. Barely spiced, just orange looking. DRY. Served on a Lidl Kaiserbread. With Lidl honey mustard sauce and cheap lettuce. Parmesan cheese. SEVENTEEN (€17) EURO. Absolutely unacceptable. I feel completely insulted. Shocked.

We went for breakfast after landing from Canada and had a great experience! We had croque madam, egs benny & French toast and Americanos. All were great! Table service too.

Not much to say except 7 euros for a an average matcha is essentially theft. You can get a cheaper & better one in the city. The kind waiter was probably the only saving grace.

There is no atmosphere - it is completely empty. The waiter has no idea what is on the menu and when you ask for something, he looks surprised and makes something different than what you ordered. The unqualified staff for the insanely high prices is not worth coming here or ever returning. Side note: the order the waiter created felt like it was intoxicated and took forever.

I called this address several times, but unfortunately, no one answered. The website said they were open until 4:00 PM, so I went at 2:30 PM. When I arrived, I was told they were already closed because they didn't have enough food in stock. That was a shame, because I was really hungry and had made a special effort to come. Because no one answered...

Friendly staff, delicious food. We were just surprised it was so empty. Two people next to us came to eat, and that was it for the duration of our stay.

Unfriendly staff! I pointed out that I found a hair under the sauce in my food. The staff seriously debated whether it was my girlfriend's hair?! Under the sauce?! I had to ask if I could get a new meal. The atmosphere outside was also not at all cozy, with chairs stacked high on the left and right, and everything still in chains. We were so upset that we couldn't enjoy the food, which was quite delicious.

Smashed burger - it was delicious! The atmosphere is really cozy, with relaxing country music in the background. The iced coffee was also very good. Very friendly service. Definitely recommended and we'll be back.

It's a real shame how it looks now and what's left of it in terms of service. Used to eat here with great pleasure. The menu now consists of A4 sheets stapled (?!) together. Nice and "hygienic". Asked for a ginger tea, with little ginger... got the opposite. Asked for brown bread instead of white, but got 2 white rolls. Literally, only fried egg on the rolls, nothing else. With a salad of tomato & cucumber on the side. But worth 12,-? No, definitely not.

All poach eggs we ordered were hard boiled, wrong bread was served, but the worst thing: coffee was cold! Very slow service, prices were too high for the food we got, we will never come back.

After a long wait without any help, I went to the cash register to order there. Had to wait quite a long time for the food. But it was a super tasty delicious meal. But it's a shame about the bad service and long waits.

We celebrated our birthdays and had a delicious meal here. It was pleasant and we were helped nicely, a proper solution was also found for an allergy problem... something different was offered... very pleasant. Highly recommended to have a delicious meal and drink here.

The food is plain and definitely NOT fresh. It is also very expensive for what they offer. It looks pretty in pictures but they don't know how to cook or the ingredients are not fresh. The service was kind o lacking.

This place is a joke. Overpriced food with quality not even that great. Paying 9.50 EURO (!) for a milkshake with all sorts of nonsense on it, while the actual milkshake amount was very little, is ridiculous. I cannot fathom people willingly spend their money on this overpriced stuff. Hell, even McDonalds shakes seem cheap in comparison. If you want value and quality, don't go here.

I recently visited this place for breakfast and had a very disappointing experience. After placing my order, I waited an unusually long time without any updates. When I politely asked about the status of my order, the manager responded rudely and said they were busy instead of offering an apology or an explanation. The lack of customer service and the manager's attitude were unacceptable. I understand that businesses can get busy, but courtesy and communication go a long way in improving the customer experience. Unfortunately, this visit left a negative impression, and I won't be returning anytime soon. I hope the management addresses these issues to provide better service in the future.

They give such big quantities you don't finish it

TLDR: Service sucks. Food is mid. Avoid. This place sucks. You have to order on your phone and the servers don’t seem to know that you are there. The prices are massively inflated, and they have brought us food without silverware and failed to bring everything at the same time. The menu is also deceptive: it says the “starting from” price, as though you’re ordering a pair of shoes or something. These people do not care about you.

I ate a sandwich here. This sandwich tasted great but was expensive for what you get. The chicken on the bun and the bun in general was quite dry. Nevertheless, quite a nice place to have something to eat and drink.

I’m sorry but this one is a big fat no. Entered the restaurants and no one was there to greet us. The place was dead and there was no one inside but tables were dirty. Our host wasn’t kind at all and service was straight up trash. Multiple people came in and asked if they could take seat on the terrace outside. But they don’t service food there. It’s self service and what you get, you get as take away (despite having a big terrace set out). The ambiance was quite nice inside, and the presentation of the food too! It looked delicious and smelled likewise. However the food was dry and tasteless (pancakes and French toast). Was not fresh at all and felt like it was defrosted by a toaster. We absolutely love the Corner Bakery in Zuid and even tho they probably use the same products, this was an expensive disaster

Fresh juice, was not fresh. Guilty pleasure menu was really tasty! Great place, next time let me know that you are going to serve gravy from a carton. Then I would have changed my mind.

This was a special experience! We arrived and it seemed very dead, there was not a soul in sight and the music was off. There were no waitresses to take care of you and the tables were not set. So there was no service at all! We literally received the food on a dirty table. In addition, the pancakes were very dry and looked like they had been heated up in the microwave. Furthermore, the salads were not as shown in the photos. There was no dressing in the salad, the vegetables were clearly not fresh as they were very tough. This is a shame, because we were really looking forward to this. Waste of my money! In short, don't go there!

A few years ago it was a nice place for breakfast, brunch and lunch, but nowadays I think the atmosphere has deteriorated. The food is also not that good anymore. I would rather go to another corner bakery location.

Stayed in a hotel nearby with basic breakfast but children wanted pancakes. They had American style and I had French toast. Mine was delicious. Theirs was good but quite stodgy, and after two they sort of stuck to the roof of your mouth and they didn’t finish them. Not sure if it’s a thing in Amsterdam but wasn’t happy paying for Tap water either. Quite pricey too. Nearly €50 for breakfast and one coffee.

Nice lunchroom. Nicely decorated, but service is not the best. Order via QR code and little to no contact with service. Dishes were placed on the table without any explanation and were barely appetizing. Parking is easy in the Park Bee garage.

We were there for breakfast at 10:30am on Saturday. Delicious. The portions were more than enough for us. The avocado toast with feta tasted very good. The shakes for the kids are fantastic. Some tables were already reserved. Very nice staff. Order only via QR code. But works without any problems. Everything happens pretty quickly.

Nice coffee and decent food, but I paid €2 for “extra avocado” on my omelette and received a strange, barely edible guacamole substance that tasted more like lime than avocado. For €2 I felt ripped off.

Used to make good food, completely lost their touch. Will no longer order from them after the last few experiences. And fix your front door, the broken glass is a safety risk to your customers.

Very cute and really fun decor. The pinks and beiges with pops of green were very soothing and lended a relaxed atmosphere. The food was ok. I do recommend the yogurt bowl. The variety of fruit, the front and the option of the honey was delicious. The American pancakes tasted doughy and we're not the fluffy pancakes I was expecting from the pictures. They were very dry and crumbled almost like a dry cake. The eggs Benedict was different. It was served on basic white bread which was fine except it wasn't toasted so difficult to cut. The hollandaise sauce was very acidic and tasted overly mustardy which was odd to me and unappetizing. The service model was interesting you did not really have a waitress you scanned the QR code and submitted your order and paid all at once. This made it a bit difficult to request like a glass of water when we did interact with the staff they were friendly and helpful.

One of the best avocado smash i have had. It has multiple varieties and we tried all - egg, chicken, and fetta cheese. Coffee and juice were decent as well. We are visiting and were looking for a place for brunch locally. There was no waiting and service was decent as well. Its a quaint place, but the food is worth it and decently priced (it is not cheap but value for money). Would recommend and we are making another visit for sure!

Het QR systeem verloopt nog niet helemaal vlekkeloos. Het eten was lekker. Goede portie, maar je betaalt er ook wel wat voor :) Het is nog vrij rustig daar, wat heel fijn is. Medewerkers zijn vriendelijk, decor is leuk.

Leuke plek om te (br/l)unchen. Heerlijke kaart en genoeg om uit te kiezen. Nooit eerder van de Corner Bakery gehoord. Ga nl regelmatig bij Ted's (br/l)unchen en maar Corner Bakery is me meegevallen. Ga er absoluut nog een x heen om iets anders van de kaart te proberen. En dan naar een andere vestiging. De service vond ik niet geweldig. We hebben er zelf iedere x opgelet dat er iets werd gedaan of opgevolgd. Zo kwam men onze drankjes voor de 2e keer bezorgen maar de lege borden en kopjes van de vorige bestelling liet men staan. We hebben dus expliciet moeten vragen of ze de tafel konden opruimen. Verder wel vriendelijk personeel.

Food and atmosphere are great, but service is horrible, and therefore not a recommendation in my option. Was here for a high tea with a couple of friends. Not a really busy day, and a lot of staff. Nobody came to ask if we wanted to drink anything or of they could serve the tea already (we pre-ordered the high tea). Food was served half an hour later than expected, and only after we asked several times, and after we were already over an hour at the restaurant. During the high tea, we had to stand up serveral times and walked to the counter the ask for a refill..

We had the spicy chicken avocado toast, american pancakes and spicy chicken bun with 2 milkshakes. It was delicious! I would definitely come back here for the sandwich. The atmosphere is nice and the service is swift too. The waiter accommodated all of our needs.

Service was amazing, music and how everything is arranged was great so both of them gets easy 5/5. Now the important part is the food bare in mind I only ordered a chocolate cake slice and hot chocolate so I'm only reviewing it on those food products alone as I have no clue on the other food and I want to be fair. Chocolate taste good not the best and not bad so gets 2.8/5 just not enough chocolate that's for me. The hot chocolate gets 4/5 taste great with marshmallow burnt on top sadly the chocolate was not strong enough I guess I could be a sweet tooth so try and see. Overall good in my opinion.
