Cosy Foodbar in Eersel

Had a fine meal here. A solid pass. However, what really bothered me was the bill. We had two 0.75-liter bottles of tap water, and they charged us 13 euros for them. I asked if this was correct, which it was, and if it was tap water. That was indeed the case. The staff also thought this was expensive but couldn't do anything about it. I asked for an explanation twice via private messages but received no response. I find it a shame that they treat customers this way. I certainly won't be eating at Cosy again.

The food was good, but when paying the bill, we had to pay €6.50 twice for a small carafe of lukewarm tap water. This, even though the waitress asked if we wanted a glass of water with the wine. A shame!

Lovely lunchroom in the center of Eersel. Literally on the Market Square. With a spacious terrace at the front and back, so you can always enjoy the sun. There are other restaurants and cafes in the immediate vicinity, but not all of them have a sunny terrace. Delicious sandwiches and friendly service.

Good food and a charming terrace. However, there is a shortage of staff during the summer fair, so you have to wait a long time for your order.

We had such a lovely time here. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the decor is very cozy. We went for the tapas; it was especially nice to sit at the table for a long time. The staff were very engaging with the guests. We will definitely be back.

Great! A very cozy place with a nice interior and delicious food. If you go for the tapas, keep in mind that you can only do about one round every 30 minutes. It takes quite a while for a round to arrive, and you can only order a new round once the current one is finished. Individual tapas are quite pricey; for example, one small bowl with 3 meatballs in sauce is €10.50. The food and service are otherwise perfectly fine, but it is just something to keep in mind :)

Very nice café. Coffee, cappuccino, and tea are only €1.50 until noon. The coffee is delicious! 👍🏻

A lovely, cosy place that truly lives up to its name. The food was lekker 👌, and our waitress, Nisa, was delightful. I also appreciated that the menu was available in both English and Dutch -a small but meaningful detail.

I've been coming to Eersel for a few years now, but tonight I discovered this gem on a team outing. We had the tapas menu, which was delicious, with chorizo, fuet, cheese, squid, mussels, and spare ribs—too many to mention, it was served in rounds on beautiful platters. Friendly service. Lovely location. I'll definitely be back! I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious tapas. 😋 P.S. I forgot to photograph one of the dishes.

Large restaurant, also beautiful inside. You can choose from the main course menu or the all-you-can-eat tapas menu. We opted for the tapas, which sometimes took a while to arrive, but the food was tasty but nothing special.

The food was delicious and the service was friendly. There was a huge selection. The atmosphere was also cozy. They also have a special children's menu with affordable dishes for the little ones.

Delicious tapas dishes. It would be an improvement if desserts were also included on the tapas menu. It's also a bit inconvenient that you can only order six different dishes per table, especially if there are eight of you.

Had a nice meal there a few times. Today with my parents. I had a carpaccio salad with prawns. Delicious until the last 2 bites, then I found a MADE🥺 in my salad, also showed. First they charged everything but I said something about it and then I didn't have to pay for the salad. Extra apology too

Delicious food, fast and correct service in a cozy setting

We thought we'd have a drink on the terrace.. before you even sit down they're already asking you what to drink.. very pushy experience. Wine not yet finished she's already there to order. And the same thing happened with the second one. Not seen me again

Service neat and polite. Food was good and tender meat. What we thought was a shame is that you get a thimble of fries and that is for 2 people. 2 containers of mayo, still not enough for 1 person. A bit of a money grab because you order an extra thimble.

The atmosphere here is AMAZING! Beautifully decorated and delicious dishes & drinks. Top place to go with friends. We went on a Wednesday evening (and found out about the special beer evening they have every Wednesday evening!).

We received friendly and very attentive service here and had a delicious cappuccino with oat milk. Prices are reasonable, it's great to sit in the market and enjoy the sun.

The food was reasonable, price-quality was on the high side. Since I was traveling by car and therefore wanted to drink something soft, they could only offer me a sugar-free version, but the fact is that all the junk in that soft drink makes me sick. It's a shame that as a customer you don't have a choice. I think it is a big negative that the patronization also continues in the restaurants. But my company was very pleasant, fortunately.

Quality of the food is reasonable to good. Simple in layout. Price is relatively on the high side. Margin on the wine (NERO 🍷) is also very high: €8 in the store and €38 on the menu. Furthermore, very noisy. Not for me anymore.

Super good restaurant. Delicious food. Good atmosphere. But I think €6.50 for a carafe of tap water is questionable and charging €0.60 for a dollop of mayonnaise with a €35 Ribeye is really not possible.

We were there to eat tapas, but that was only possible from 4:30 PM 😞 so we had a hamburger. Shame! It was nice outside in the sun ❣️😃👍 Friendly service 👊

Can and must be recommended. Everything is right here. Finally good Belgian fries on the Belgian coast. The service is super friendly and speaks several languages.

You can eat here both a la carte and according to the tapas concept. Nice card. We ate tapas and it was very good. Tickets were collected quickly and we didn't have to wait long for our dishes. Good portions too. Dessert not included in the price, which is a shame. Busy restaurant where many people stay after dinner to have a drink, which creates a very nice atmosphere.

Last Saturday we had a nice and delicious meal with six people at Cozy. Starter Cozy salad was really delicious!! Main course tuna steak was tasty with good fries. Hamburgers, duck breast and pork tenderloin skewers are all delicious too. The tiramisu was actually just bad. Way too thick a layer of cocoa powder, we couldn't taste any liquor and it was way too thin. And that for €9.50. Friendly service, cozy place. A bit noisy. Definitely worth repeating.

I find the concept ridiculous that the menu states that everything can be ordered for 34.95 (which is already a high price) and that you still have to pay extra for products, I asked why this is not on the site and then they say it still needs to be put on the map. And I didn't think the food was anything special all very salty. The service was very friendly.

The atmosphere and service are more than excellent. Nice appearance and friendly and helpful staff. It's just a shame that my food intolerance was not taken into account, even though this was clearly stated in advance and it was stated that this should not be an issue. As a result, once I took one step outside, my entire dinner was on the sidewalk and I was 'cosy' with my toilet bowl for the rest of the night.

Great tent, delicious food from the menu or small snacks from the tapas menu. And then those cocktails, absolutely great. I regularly send my guests from our BnB there and they always come home full of praise. Highly recommended!

What a surprisingly good restaurant. Extremely friendly staff, warm and cozy atmosphere and the round tables in front of the window are great for a group of 4. Food is excellent and the portions are large. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because of the acoustics. Even though it was not very busy, it quickly became noisy to such an extent that I often could not hear my table companions. Despite that, I will definitely come back here.

Ate tapas. Too bad the 3 shrimps (€1.50 extra) were not fresh. Spare ribs were very good. Some of the service was very friendly, but the table was poorly cleared in between. Ordering drinks took a very long time, as did collecting the notes with orders. Eating unlimited tapas for 2.5 hours was very much kept in check. The rule of 6 different dishes per group also does not contribute to a relaxing evening. In the end the bill was incorrect.

Came for lunch with my wife and three kids aged 12, 10 and 8. I had the club sandwich and my wife had the Carpaccio. The kids had ribs, meatballs and pasta and nuggets. Every meal was better than the next . Very generous helping particularly with the kids meals. in total was €80 including tip and worth every cent. Service was really good and the premises is a spectacle to look at really cool and trendy .

We had a very good experience at Cosy Foodbar. We were coming late from a soccer game, but the kitchen stayed open for us. The food, service, and location were great, and the space is well designed, interesting, and comfortable.

Simply delicious and the service was good. We sat at a table near the entrance to the kitchen and that was a poor choice because it was busy with the staff coming in and out. But we chose this table ourselves, so we're not complaining about that.

An incredibly delicious meal (tapas menu), a real taste sensation. It's unbelievable that so much flavor can be packed into a small dish. We drove all the way here from Breda to have a nice meal. Highly recommended!

Had dinner at Cozy last night The food was really delicious and the service was excellent. Only: the music was very loud and it was very noisy; I can imagine people shouting louder to be heard above the music. We had a nice round table by the window with 6 people, but conversation was difficult.

Located in the middle of Eersel, between various other restaurants. From the outside you can't imagine how big the Cozy is without seeming uncomfortable. This is achieved with clever interior design. We had delicious asparagus soup (seasonal), bread with homemade garlic mayo, and spare ribs with fries. Everything was attractively served and very tasty. The waitresses were very friendly. Gladly again.

We opted for the tapas menu. You were not allowed to choose more than 6 different types because otherwise the kitchen would get into trouble. Weird. Always 2 orders at a time, but it took quite a while before they came to get the order for the kitchen. It also went wrong several times, some orders were not there or those that were not ordered were placed on the table. Not recommended.

Unfortunately this restaurant is not for me. Way too busy, packed and the acoustics are terrible. We could barely hear each other at the table. It was also much too hot inside, even the underfloor heating was fully open. Food was fine/fairly pricey. Disturbing that we were asked every 10 minutes if we wanted more drinks. Sorry, mass is left with a cash register feeling. Personally, I think it is more of a bar/cafe for young people than a restaurant where you can sit/eat with friends for a pleasant evening. Shame.

Had a lovely lunch today in a beautiful restaurant. The fact that the atmosphere only received 4 stars is due to a quiet afternoon and I suspect that it will be more lively during dinner. The staff is great.

Went here for dinner last Saturday, after hearing many positive stories. And we are also very positive. Although it was visibly a busy evening (without this bothering us), everything went very smoothly. Drinks were delivered very quickly, and all dishes did not have to wait long. The quality of the food was perfect. I had the fish soup and the 300 gram tenderloin. They talk about the best steak in town, well it certainly was. Deliciously flavored, and perfectly medium-rare as ordered. Definitely in the top 5 of the tastiest pieces of meat I have eaten, and there are quite a few. Staff was also friendly and professional. A small point for improvement. We were sitting next to the old front door of the building, and there was a bit of a draft there, maybe we had to apply a draft strip once. All in all we had an excellent meal and we will definitely come back again.
