We went there today for a small, affordable lunch/dinner. We ordered the pan bread and the Greenpeace sandwich; the owner even served his hottest sauce with the latter! It all tasted fantastic, and the kids had a blast too! It was all great, especially because the owner was very chatty. Keep it up, you'll definitely see us again!

The super-friendly owner makes you feel welcome from the moment you step through the door. The jars of fresh Moroccan cookies smile at us, so we step inside. It smells absolutely heavenly here at 5 p.m.! Clearly a kitchen where they make everything fresh and on-site. Our thought of a delicious, invigorating fresh mint tea was met with a pot overflowing with piping hot tea, plus a thoughtful (and beautiful) potholder. We enjoy a delicious lemsemen—served on a sharing platter!😍—and take the cookies and a bowl of couscous home with us.

What a delicious lunch!! Damn. Many other sandwiches pale in comparison. The taste was fantastic. The service was great, and it's a lovely place on Heuvelstraat. I'll go again, but this time for dinner. If it's important to you: the prices are very affordable.

The couscous bar is located in a very cozy street. Outside you can sit very nicely and also inside the atmosphere looked good. The food was really perfect and certainly not expensive! It did not take long before the food arrived and it looked fresh. We had a soup with bread and a Moroccan pancake with vegetables, chicken and a tasty dressing. This was really very tasty and the flavors went well together. The homemade iced tea is definitely recommended. The service is very friendly and up for a chat! I will definitely come back here again (:

I had delicious Harira soup with delicious Jennah Couscous. I'm a picky eater but I enjoyed this. The Harira soup really has a delicious flavor profile and is not too spicy, really perfect. The couscous is really delicious, you can eat it straight away and it was really wonderfully tender. I will definitely come back again! Their Moroccan mint tea is highly recommended and delicious with food! I suspect the owner is also a very friendly man, I felt very welcome!

It's a lovely place. The food was delicious. I had a meat dish with gluten-free couscous that was extraordinary. The place has many gluten free alternatives. They also offer vegan options and gluten-free desserts! The owner is very friendly and does everything to ensure you have a great experience.

Delicious food and plenty of gluten-free options. Someone with celiac disease works there and several dishes have been adapted since then. Very tasty!

What an experience, very cozy and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Morocco. The smells of spices and delicious fresh food greet you as soon as you open the door! I am not ashamed to know that this best chef has been offering delicious dishes for 8 years...of course there is plenty on offer. Positively surprised! Yesterday I ate here with my daughter with the local taste mint. We each got a bowl of harira and delicious couscous. I will definitely come back here. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Moroccan cuisine (with the chef/owner's own twist).

Ordered this afternoon at 2:54 PM, delivery was supposed to take place at 6:50 PM, 40 minutes after the agreed time, one of our guests cycled to De CousCousBar because the phone was not answered after calling five times. They said at 7:40 PM they would get to work quickly....delivery costs paid for nothing.

Er wordt hier ontzettend lekker en authentiek gekookt met verse ingrediënten. De prijs kwaliteit verhouding vind ik goed, het geserveerde eten is smaakvol en genoeg en leuk om te zien hoe het eten wordt bereid wordt. Ik vind het alleen geen plek om rustig te kunnen eten. De deur, zonder tussenhal, gaat vaak open en dicht, ook door de bezorgers die af en aan lopen, waardoor er veel kou naar binnen komt en ik me gestoord voelde in mijn eten. De eigenaar kan hier wellicht een praktische oplossing voor kan bedenken door bijv. het plaatsen van een tochtgordijn of halletje maken of voorin een gedeelte van de zaak te reserveren voor afhalen en meer achterin mensen die willen eten een rustige plaats te geven. Dat deed voor mij echt afbreuk aan mijn eetplezier. Vandaar maar 3 sterren

Today I have a vegetarian Kaskrot on this. Let me start with the fact that this one was absolutely delicious. I was lured into the shop with a wonderful smell, it was special and immediately made me hungry. The owner and an employee were very friendly, helped me quickly and I also got a delicious Moroccan tea while waiting. I was alone and really liked the approach, they are nice people. I am very happy with the explanation I received about the tea and the products were fresh. The cookies I bought looked very tasty, because I took them with me I got cookies from the refrigerator that stayed cold longer for my way home. The entire experience was positive, I enjoyed the business!

We went to a concert in 013 and are not known in Tilburg. What a surprise that we found this cozy restaurant within walking distance. We ate very tasty couscous and drank mint tea. Very friendly owner and employees. Good atmosphere, good food and well priced. Highly recommended!

Fantastic food and great service! The Couscous Bar is an absolute gem! As soon as you enter you are greeted by the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. The food is simply outstanding – fresh, aromatic and authentic. In particular, the “Mama Farida” couscous with fresh vegetables and perfectly seasoned meat was an absolute highlight. The portions are generous and the prices are fair, which makes the whole thing even more attractive. The vegetarian and vegan options are also varied and taste just as convincing. The service was extremely attentive and friendly without being intrusive. You feel completely comfortable and well looked after. I highly recommend Couscous Bar and will definitely come back!

Although I normally always order from the Couscous bar in Tilburg, I ate in the restaurant for the first time last Monday. This small, charming place is run by Rachid, and the meals he prepares do much more than just satisfy hunger. I order here regularly, and every time Rachid manages to put something special on the table. His couscous makes me genuinely happy. It is nutritious, fresh and packed with flavor, and I especially notice that when I don't feel completely fit. The warmth and strength I get from his meals help me to recover quickly. Last Monday I not only had a delicious meal there, but I also had a nice conversation with Rachid. It is special to see how he prepares his dishes with so much passion and care, and you can taste it in every bite. For anyone looking for authentic food with a personal touch, I can highly recommend the Couscous bar. Rachid's food has a special place in my heart, and I think I'll be there again soon.

The small shop on Heuvelstraat is characterized by truly delicious delicacies with an Arabic touch. The couscous was great, the soup too. The man of the house was very nice and prepared everything well and calmly. Also seems like a top place for takeout, given the crowd this evening. If I ever eat in Tilburg again, I will come back.
