I've now eaten there twice, the first time alone and the second time with the family. Both times the service was excellent and friendly, and the food was delicious. You can taste the passion they put into it. Afterwards, I left my car keys on the table, and we only realized it two days later. They had been kept for us, so talk about service!

The three of us ate here tonight. It was very good and tasty. My son had the burger with truffles, etc., and he really enjoyed it. I had the doner plate and my wife had a pizza, which were also very good. Largely topped and nice and hot.

Did a great job. Also a delicious dessert.

Had a lovely beer on the terrace in the sun!

Nice place, but... You haven't made a reservation, so all 12 of you are expected to order more or less the same thing. Either get a chef who isn't too intimidated, or change the menu to a limited selection. Response to answer: This wasn't requested or communicated! Missed opportunity!

Delicious food for a reasonable price

Here you can eat really well! And when the weather is nice a great terrace with a view of the Brink of Ruinen.

Nothing special, food is fine. Staff is friendly and helpful. Price quality ratio in balance.

It's a shame the Kapsalon was served later than the hamburger menu. It's not a very pleasant way to eat.

Usually delicious and convivial, but €3.50 for a pitcher of water isn't Runer hospitality. Especially not if it doesn't come with a mint leaf or a slice of lemon.

A few years ago and again this year, we picked up pizzas twice during the holidays. Even though it's busy, they keep things moving, and we didn't have to wait long for our order.

Great place, delicious, affordable food. Yes, we love pizza, kapsalon, or a döner sandwich. The quality is consistent, and the fries are topped with delicious herbs. Highly recommended 👍

A truly good and cozy restaurant. After the first time we already thought; we will come back again. And the second time was also just good again. Fries are tasty, burgers are top made. Reason to come back.

After our bike ride, we had lunch again. The service and quality were fantastic as always. 👌Great place. And we had a very tasty lunch.

We had a great lunch. It was 12 o'clock, with a croquette sandwich, a healthy sandwich, and a cup of soup. It tasted great, and later, we had a delicious Monchou cake with our tea. We'll definitely have lunch here again. The staff are very friendly. It's a shame the dinner menu isn't more extensive.

We were here last Saturday My wife had a veurjoar siepelsoepje and I had a bouncer from the mayor. The food and service were super good, we will definitely come here again, a top restaurant, many can learn from this.

The platter with various dishes was delicious, we tasted and enjoyed it. The service was friendly and in a good mood. The pizzas were tasty but the quartre stagione was tasty but not recognizable as a classic stagione. It didn't detract from a nice dinner.

Everything was great except that the meat between the brink burger was structureless, but the rest was so good that it didn't matter to me, the fries are tasty, and a great bread board deluxe, Belgium can also start with bread boards like here (I am myself Belgian), definitely recommended!

The mayor in ruins has a spacious terrace with places in the sun and places in the shade with a beautiful view, the taps are cold and good and the snack board that we ate there yesterday was great, very filled and especially those wraps that are on it with carpatchio were extremely tasty but the strawberry sorbet was also delicious on a hot day the service is friendly I had to wait for my partner for a long time and I even got a bowl of nuts from the house definitely a nice place where you can go very well with an experienced owner who has been on it for years

Always tasty. Whether you choose a hair salon or a pizza. We always pick up and the food at home is still at the right temperature. One of the few that the hair salon makes with döner as standard instead of shawarma, I really prefer döner! Service is always friendly.

Twice a year I go out for coffee and lunch with 2 former colleagues. We look for a different restaurant or brasserie every time. This morning/afternoon to De Burgemeester in Ruinen!! A super cozy restaurant, not too big. Very cozy sitting corners, it looked nice. Started with a delicious cappuccino, 2x, then 2 very tasty brie sandwiches, with walnut and the honey sauce was served separately. And the afternoon ended with a delicious fresh mint tea!!

Bread meal was good. The soup was literally and figuratively thin. The soup was not very creamy and had a somewhat weak taste.

Very nice and cozy. The opening times and menu are more reminiscent of a snack bar than a restaurant, but it still tasted good

Delicious food and not expensive!

A catering company where they still know what hospitality and good food are. In our case, a lunch with tasty sandwich fillings of very good quality and a very affordable price. Here we come again. And.... try the delicious homemade apple pie that I enjoyed here during a ride on my racing bike.

Alleen pizza afgehaald deze waren heerlijk en snel klaar.

Populaire plaats om te drinken en eten. Vooral pizza 🍕 maar erg lekker.

Good food, friendly peronel and not expensive

Maaltijdsalade met wel erg weinig gerookte zalm...beetje jammer voor zo,n prijs.

Net als in een eerdere vakantie aten wij weer bij De Burgemeester. Dat beviel zo goed dat we meerdere keren gegaan zijn. Heerlijk en betaalbaar eten, erg vriendelijk personeel, leuke lokatie. Wij komen weer terug!

Super lekker gegeten met ons gezin bij de Burgemeester. Mooie schone zaak, vriendelijk personeel en heerlijk eten. Wij gaan zeker nog vaker hierheen. Dik tevreden.

Het is een heel leuk en gezellig restaurant! Alles was netjes en mooi. Het eten was ook heel lekker en vers! Het personeel was ook heel erg vriendelijk!

De brink burger gehad. Ik vond hem tegen vallen. Weinig verrassende smaak, beetje flauw en het broodje werd snel papperig van de saus. Frietjes waren lekker. Personeel is vriendelijk. Restaurant is verzorgt en netjes. Er is een hoekje voor de kinderen. Mijn man vond de truffel burger erg goed. De kinderen hebben hun bord met friet goed leeggegeten.

Mooi terras. Prima kwaliteit/prijs verhouding. Leuk personeel.

Prachtig terras met uitzicht op de Brink. Vriendelijke vlotte bediening. De carpaccio flammkuchen is een aanrader.

Echt heerlijk eten, maar omdat de wijde omtrek daar inmiddels achter is, loopt de wachttijd wel heel erg op als je wat komt halen. Krijg het idee dat het uit zijn jas gegroeid is 😉 Maar dat is een goed teken. Dus.... als aan de wachttijd wordt gewerkt, dan verdienen jullie zeker 5 sterren.

Eten opgehaald, maar het was werkelijk gortdroog.

Altijd leuk om hier te komen!! Vriendelijk personeel en heerlijk eten!!
