Cuddle Pub in Burgwallen-Nieuwe Zijde

The Cuddle Pub won me over immediately. The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly, and not as artificial as in many other bars in Amsterdam. The staff is attentive without being intrusive, drinks arrive quickly, and the prices are absolutely fair for the area. A particularly positive aspect is that you feel instantly welcome, whether you're there alone or with friends. A cozy, uncomplicated pub – perfect for a relaxed evening. I'll definitely be back.

We had the pleasure of stumbling across Cuddle Bar. We saw a review mentioning their mojitos so we ordered one and we were so happy we did. Seriously the best mojito - so fresh and refreshing. And such friendly service. If we were in town longer we’d go back again. Do yourself a favor - make your way here and order a mojito.

We had a lovely dinner at The Cuddle Pub in Amsterdam. We started with a couple of Dutch beers and an appetizer of classic bitterballen — they were fantastic, perfectly crispy and full of flavor. For our mains, we ordered tacos and steak, and both were excellent. The food was fresh and really well prepared. The service from the owner was warm, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. It just felt like a genuinely friendly place to be. This ended up being the perfect final meal for our unexpected extra night in Amsterdam after KLM cancelled our flight. Sometimes the best experiences happen by chance — and The Cuddle Pub was definitely one of them. Highly recommend!

Arrived quite late at night and were greeted by the lovely owner. We ordered the beef burger and chicken wings, a cocktail and a beer. The food was amazing! Very well cooked and you could tell they had chosen good ingredients. I recommend the homemade spicy sauce. And end the meal off with a hug from the owner 😁

I went here because it was close to my hotel without reading any reviews, but there were already a lot of Korean reviews 😅 This place is seriously so delicious.... My boyfriend and I both used to live in the US, and the mashed potatoes and ribs were even better than in the US!! You really have to try the mashed potatoes and the homemade spicy BBQ sauce...!

We were recommended to try this place. However, we would not know if the food & service is good or not. An hour after making a reservation, they cancelled the reservation with no reason, nor are they answering why. We had to last minute change our plans for the night. Trust them at your own risk! Update: for accuracy, I made the reservation for 30.08.25 at 9:45pm. I did NOT cancel this reservation. I received notice that it was cancelled and I messaged to ask for the reason with no reply. The next day, a new reservation was made for 31.08.25 at 9:01pm. I did NOT make this reservation. I DID cancel this new reservation because we had moved on to other plans. Don't blame others for actions your organization did by both cancelling the original email and making a new reservation.

A nice and quaint pub tucked away from the main roads. We ate here with three people. Delicious food at fair prices. Very friendly staff. We'd be happy to come back. 👍

Owner and staff like to make sure everyone is happy with what they are getting and are wonderful. We just happened upon this pub as we strolled the streets looking for a place for dinner!! Find it if you will be in Amsterdam! The chef’s food is more than pub food, including the presentation of the food; it is more like gourmet pub food. We will go back, the question is what else will we try from the menu? It’s a typical pub menu, but it’s clear the cooking methods and recipes have been perfected. It is a pub atmosphere with excellent service, though it doesn’t taste like you’re eating pub food.

I was in Amsterdam for a day with my daughter and searched via Google for child-friendly restaurants. This one came up as one of the first and that is also completely correct. Nice little pub, friendly staff, super tasty food. Menu can be adjusted to the children's wishes! Highly recommended

We received a very open and warm welcome from the owner. A genuine warmth that was reflected in many small details. A great service team that worked well together, and despite the very small kitchen, all 22 meals were brought out almost simultaneously. The food (burgers, ribs, bitterballen, cheese sticks, etc.) was very good and plentiful. Five beers on tap and more in bottles, plus a full repertoire of cocktails and long drinks (several gins and others)

Our first day in Amsterdam and we find the Cuddle Pub. It's tucked back in a somewhat discrete feeling alleyway but it's well worth seeking out this little gem. Nando merrily greeted us as we entered and sat us right down. The food was amazing. We had burgers and bitterballen. The atmosphere is amazingly warm & cozy. And Nando made the whole experience outrageously enjoyable. Have I given enough superlatives? I meant every one. If your looking for a neighborhood Pub with great food the Cuddle Pub is your place.
