Definitely try the sourdough and have it sliced ​​a bit thicker; 15 to 17 mm is nice. Furthermore, the other bread is also tasty and freezes well (it won't dry out after thawing!).

I paid 10 euros for a sandwich and didn't get it, so I asked for it and luckily got it afterwards, and I also got a free drink of my choice, so great service.

A real bakery, you can see and smell it. Great concept. Especially with that cup of coffee and a fresh roll or cookie. And fresh here simply means it doesn't come from the freezer. You can taste that. Highly recommended.

I had a very delicious egg salad sandwich at a very friendly price. I also had a decent cappuccino. Service was friendly and fast. You can also buy fresh bread and other freshly baked goods here. They have a seating area both inside and outside and there's also a loo available.

It took 50 minutes to get our juice and rolls. And then the wrong roll, too. No apologies, just excuses about it being busy. And that with fewer than 15 seats. I think they should focus on the bakery. They clearly don't know anything about the restaurant business.

A very overpriced bakery, with almost no prices listed, and when you ask for a receipt, you only get the full amount. The staff was also disappointing; they didn't even smile.

The bread is good, but the pastries, cakes, and cookies are all way too sweet! Of course, it has to be sweet, but there are limits... as long as the sugar is sprinkled too liberally, we won't buy anything else here.

A wonderful experience. Such kind staff. Such delicious bakes. Genuinely rich expresso. A beautiful, cosy historic interior overlooking the bakery - or seats outside overlooking the 16th Century town hall. Thank you for a perfect start to our day.

This afternoon we had coffee and cake with 2 people. If you look at the receipt, 0.50 cents will be charged for: Dining room surcharge. This without saying in advance or mentioning anywhere!!! Scandalous, I like to decide for myself whether I give a "tip" that would be for the staff pot and not for the greedy boss. No for us the last time we had coffee and cake there.

The place for coffee and something tasty

We've been coming to this bakery for over 40 years. We always receive a friendly welcome and excellent service. The bread is also delicious, especially the cheese sticks :)

The staff is never really helpful or friendly. I only go there occasionally when it's convenient or when they're already sold out elsewhere. I always regret spending my money there, because they lack goodwill in my opinion. The staff sees you, but doesn't say hello or waits for no reason to help you. The products are more expensive than elsewhere, and there's no information about the ingredients. When asked, the answer is usually, "I wouldn't actually know." Which I find odd for a bakery. You'd expect it to be made with care and attention, especially at those prices. I wouldn't recommend it; there are other bakeries with equally delicious products and where you'll receive decent and friendly service.

It took us half an hour for two cappuccinos in an empty bakery

Been waiting for 2 cups of coffee for about half an hour!!!!!!

I had paid for my sandwiches when I saw a slightly fatter woman (the owner, I think) put a piece of bread next to a mouse. When I said that I thought it was dirty, she told me that I should mind my own business. Later she was eating people's bread. They should close such a tent immediately: scandalous!

An older woman (is it the owner?) is always rude and grumpy. She likes to give witty answers and a greeting is never a thing of the past. Then go bake sandwiches at night, when you have so little pleasure in the store. This (expensive) bakery is within walking distance, but they won't see me there again.

Delicious food. Nice staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Recommended!

Heel vriendelijk personeel en echt super lekker eten!

Lekker voor de dag echt begint om 8.45 uur een cappuccino met een heerlijk koekje en een croissant...

Half uur zitten wachten op koffie en een broodje. Broodje was niet vies, maar lang niet het geld waard. Betreurenswaardig dat je als klant op je koffie zit te wachten omdat de medewerker voor zichzelf een driedubbele cappuccino aan het fabriceren is. Ook storend om te zien dat iemand achter de balie staat te snotteren over het voedsel wat bereid wordt. Ik zal hier niet meer komen en raad het anderen af om hier ter plaatse te eten.

Heerlijk geluncht met lekkere broodjes en versgeperst sinaasappelsap.

Sinds een paar maanden halen we het brood in Beusichem gisteren in Culemborg oliebollen en appelbeignets gehaald wat een heerlijke oliebol en het brood is ook top natuurlijk 👍👌👌

Artisanal bakery with (amongst) the best bread in town.

Een heerlijk vers belegd broodje gegeten hier, vorige week. Je kunt binnen je bestelling doorgeven, hierna heerlijk op het terras een broodje gegeten!

Speltbrood €5,- ….nog duurder dan biologisch brood en twee verpakkingen met 4 stuks koek werden per stuk berekend en dat kwam uit op €16,- vol met chemische e-nummers. Nog bijna duurder per stuk dan de koninklijke tompouzen van de banketbakkerij verderop. Kortom echt idiote prijzen

Heerlijke koffie en kaasstengels

Leuke bakker met erg lekkere producten. De romia's zijn echt verslavend lekker.. we hebben al drie pakjes gekocht met het idee dat we ze voor anderen kochten, maar hebben uiteindelijk alles zelf opgegeten. Oh en je kunt hier ook binnen zitten wat gezellig is en de mensen die er werken zijn erg aardig.

Een zeer leuke plek om te lunchen en om tevens eigen gebakken koekjes of brood te kopen.

Sinds dat ik in Culemborg ben komen wonen haal ik hier al mijn brood. De advertentie met het lekkerste brood van Nederland is dan ook niet overdreven, elke keer weer geniet ik van het vers gebakken brood.

Je wordt er altijd vriendelijk geholpen, en hebben goed en lekkere dingen

Sinds de overname moet er vaak nee verkocht worden jammer ook heb ik het idee dat van sommige broden de kwaliteit minder is.

Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel

Helaas hebben ze geen grote variatie aan belegde broodjes. Dat is jammer want ik denk dat ze een groot publiek kunnen trekken daarmee. Het personeel had het lastig met de drukte maar was wel heel aardig! Mooie winkel met veel verschillende producten van hoge kwaliteit. Aanrader!

Wij halen hier altijd desembrood. Tot voorkort lekker brood met een heerlijk knapperige korst. De laatste tijd is het brood anders van structuur en de kost taai. Op mijn vraag of het ander brood is, kwam als antwoord, andere bakker. Jammer want ik kom nu niet meer speciaal naar de binnenstad voor brood die duidelijk minder van kwaliteit is.

Koffie corner/mogelijkheid tot lunch erg beperkt. Bediening matig.

Slechte bediening. Uiteindelijk zelf naar beneden moeten lopen om te bestellen. Niet gekregen wat we besteld hadden. Snel in elkaar geflanst en op tafel gegooit. Volgende keer slaan we deze zaak over.

Waardeloos, Slechte bediening, onvriendelijk op en top. Slechte sfeer!Producten echt heel erg duur. Eigenaren sporen niet.

We stopten, tijdens onze fietstocht, in Culemborg. Na een verkennend ritje op de markt kozen we deze zaak uit voor een warm drankje. De zaak heeft een leuke plek om te zitten... Na het bestellen (géén menukaart te bespeuren; werd ons ook niet aangeboden...) duurde het échter zo lang voor de 3 drankjes aan tafel gebracht werden (omdat het personeel ook nog de klanten in de bakkerswinkel moesten bedienen intussen) dat onze drankjes nog nauwelijks lauw waren... géén suikertje te bespeuren én hélemaal géén koekje of ander lekkers (terwijl je in een bakkerij bent aanbeland...) Wij kiezen volgende keer een andere zaak uit!
