Great experience at Da Angela. The salesperson is lovely. Expect to pay €8.50 for a focaccia and €9.50 to have a drink with it. The products are fresh and high-quality.

Super authentic, personable service. The selection is incredible, great sandwiches, superb pastas, the sauces are phenomenal. I could go on and on. You will not be disappointed!

Take away: delicious lasanga alla bolognese. Compliments. But 10 min. in a preheated oven at 180 degrees is too short if you like hot lasagna 😀. I added some fresh basil and some salad. Delicious meal

We went there for lunch during our bicycle Trip through the Netherlands. Very good food, we had a mix of all the dishes available,with focaccia and tiramisu. Perfect lunch on the terrace ! Will definitely come back, don't hesitate to stop there for premium Italian food !

Nice little shop in a side street of the Breestraat. Opted for panini with mortadella. Nice warm and crispy roll with a spicy sauce and a little bit of lettuce and mortadella. Sandwich is tasty but a bit lacking in fillings.

Don't judge a book by its cover! The focaccia with burrata and lots of grilled vegetables and parmesan was delicious and so was the authentic Italian coffee 😍 Enjoy eating outside in the sun at the high table and (folding) chair in a lively street, where there is plenty to see and have a chat with the proud owner! Enjoy it!

Excellent Italian food, family style kitchen, €12.50 a plate. Tiramisu is very delicious, very authentic Italian style.

canolli was good, but very small for €2

I was a bit shocked in terms of appearance. It looked as if the dish had had a collision on the way to my bowl. But once I started eating it was a true taste explosion. The herbs danced on my tongue. For the price I paid for it, I expected something much less spectacular. I will definitely come back here, with a blindfold for the first impression ;)

Absolute gem! When you just come in your feel immediately like in Naples. What a shop! Owner is chef, barista and salesman in one. Amazing selection of Italian products, home made food and indeed coffee. Amazing place and source of inspiration for all Italian food lovers. Great shop and will be back soon. Highly recommended!

I discovered this little place here a few months ago. It is very welcoming, Nicola is very warm, kind and friendly. This place is full of good Italian food. I got a mix of grilled vegetables, a good focaccia bread and a "real" buffalo mozzarella, as well as the good Bourbon espresso coffee they have. I highly recommend it

Very nice welcome, we tasted delicious lasagna (mushrooms, truffles and bolognese) then we ate focaccia, succulent. It reminds us of our trips to Italy, thank you very much for the kindness (and the tiramisu)

This is a gem and hole in the wall kinda restaurant with amazing and authentic Neapolitan food which transports you straight to Napoli! The best Italian food in the city of Leiden. The cannolis and gnocchi are the best I’ve ever had. The panini pancetta was super fresh and tasty Super student friendly budget; Would definitely come back. The owner is super nice, hospitable and warm. Very dedicated, passionate man he is Eccezionale!

Update: most dishes there are okay and tasty. However, today I got disappointed since I got 'a too good to go' package from them- supposed to be worth 15€ (written in the app) and I got it for 5€- and there was A piece of a stale cake, two small meatballs and two cannelloni (which they were delicious, the best dish I had from this restaurant by far) but the portion was too small for one person, especially compared to the price. Either this dish with the cake is worth 15€ or they trick people on 'too good to go' app. (Don't know which is the worst).

Wonderfully tasty Italian delicacies. We ate Arancini, Pizza fritta and Cannoli here. Unique dishes that I have not encountered anywhere else in the Netherlands, especially in combination with each other. Very friendly owner. I will definitely come back here more often. Recommended!

It's a very charming place. Very unusual and unique. You will understand when you come. The food is delicious and i could taste that it's made "with soul". It's like if i came to the kitchen of my granny and she put some of her food that she just made for dinner.. we came in passing by and now we always want to come back!

I got a fantastic sandwich at Angela's, €5.90 with Parma ham and buffalo mozzarella, an excellent ratio of cost/value. I recommend everyone to try it.

Great for a quick eat. I love the outdoor area, it’s just a bench in the most beautiful small street in Liden. The owner was helpful and kind. Lasagna was very flavorful and filling.

The food is good, but it is more expensive than i expected. On the blackboard outside their window, stand the prices of most dishes between 5 and 8 euros. So i assumed the food here is cheap. When i entered the restaurant and ordered some pasta, and the staff said he could make a combination of pasta and some other dishes, i agreed without asking about the price. The plate i got is quite small, as you can see on the photo attached. When i paid for it, it was 13 Euros. I was a bit surprised. So my advice: food is good. But ask about the pice before you want to order anything in order not to be surprised when you pay the bill.

Was recommended to me by some italian friends. It’s a tiny place where you can get great homemade italian dishes and italian products. All dishes I’ve tasted were delicious

I am in love with this place: the food is amazing, handmade with fresh Italian ingredients. I love to have a tiny corner of home where to go whenever I feel homesick. VERY RECOMMENDED
