THE APPLE PIE CHALLENGE The Proud Peacock Beautifully situated on the grounds of the Merenwijk petting zoo, the Tea House De Trotse Pauw is a wonderful place to have something to eat and drink. The tea house De Trotse Pauw is one of the learning and working places of De Haardstee. The staff was friendly and worked well through the crowds. The menu is simple and the refreshments looked tempting. Furthermore, in the shop at the back of the garden, delicious fresh fruit and vegetables were for sale for a decent price. Just see, smell and taste! I chose a well-known classic, the apple pie. The butter dough had a firm crust. It was fried crispy and well done. A well-approved grid could be seen at the top, extra addition of pine nuts😍The apples and raisins were divided. The homemade apple pie at the proud Pauw apple pie is a treat! I definitely recommend it to everyone 🤩 #thetrialblogger

Thee/koffie huis op het terrein van een kinderboerderij. Ideaal omdat ze op zondag open zijn. Kleine prijzen maar ruime keuze. 1 min punt: - soms lopen er honden op het terein los en dat mag niet! -

Noordeinde 23I ate here as a pregnant vegetarian, and it was incredibly well-organized (reservations are required and must be made in advance!). I had delicious dishes that were barely distinguishable from those of my table companions. The non-alcoholic pairings were also fantastic. My table companions secretly even enjoyed one or two mocktails more than their wine! The service was also very friendly. The only caveat was that it was a bit long: we were there for four hours, but in return, we ate six courses and an amuse-bouche.

Beestenmarkt 14I had such a nice Christmas Eve meal here. The cheese fondue was absolutely delicious and came with a variety of vegetables and foods to dip in the cheese. The thing that really made this restaurant stand out was the service. The owner and people who worked there were so lovely and made it such a great experience. I highly recommend this place for food, atmosphere and service!
