Da lat cuisine in Binnenstad-Zuid

Ordered twice, enjoyed it immensely both times!

The food is delicious and made from good ingredients.

Today I ordered again from Da Lat Cuisine for €47.75 food for 3 people and this time it was downright worthless. Wrong delivery and poorly filled Spring rolls. I contacted Da Lat Cuisine about this by phone. During the conversation there was very loud music in the background so that I had to repeat information several times, when the owner rudely took over the phone and I told him my complaints about the poorly filled Spring rolls and wrong delivery, according to him it was not true because he had made them himself. Because it was not possible to have a normal conversation with the owner over the phone, I went to the store with the spring rolls to show him what was wrong. The owner was also aggressive in the store and claimed that the male employee was afraid of me. Because he remained rude and it was still not possible to have a conversation with him, I told him that I would no longer order from him and then walked out of the store. whereupon he shouted after me "and now get lost" and he threw the Spring rolls in the garbage can outside".

Afgelopen twee jaar maandelijks besteld bij Da Lat Cuisine en over het algemeen waren de Spring rols goed. Echter vandaag was het waardeloos. Foute levering en mager gevuld. ik nam hierover telefonisch contact op met de Da Lat. Tijdens het gesprek met zeer luide muziek op de achtergrond zodat ik meerdere malen dingen moest herhalen, nam de eigenaar de telefoon bruut over en toen ik hem mijn klachten en de mager gevulde Spring rols en verkeerde levering was dat volgens hem niet waar hij had ze zelf namelijk gedraaid. Omdat er via de telefoon geen normaal gesprek te voeren viel met de eigenaar ben ik naar de winkel gegaan met de spring rols om het hem te laten tonen. Ook in de zaak was de eigenaar agressief en beweerde dat de medewerker bang voor me was. Ik heb hem aangegeven dat ik niet meer bij hem ging bestellen en ben de winkel uit gelopen waarop hij me nog na riep "en nou opzouten waarop hij de Spring rols in de vuilnisbak buiten weggooide".

Tastiest Vietnamese in Leiden! The food is always delicious Friendly staff with good service. Delicious sandwiches and delicious fresh salads with homemade fish sauce or soy sauce. Fresh #crisp #sweet #sour #slightly spicy. Highly recommended.

Picked up a chicken Pho ga súp (Chicken Pho) and a Banh xeo thit ga (Crispy pancake filled with beansprouts and chicken) and some spring rolls. The flavours are subtle and interesting, exactly what is expacted of the lovely Vietnamese cuisine. We will be back for sure to try the Banh Mi's. Can recommend, give it a try!

For almost 16 euros I expect more than a plastic container with a reheated microwave meal in it (I took the meat menu).

The pho was amazing, rich in flavor, nice and spicy but not too spicy. And the meat was very tasty and juicy. The pancake was good as well

Authentic food. Great portions. The shop is small so dont expect to have space to sit down when it's busy.

Amazing spring rolls and banh mi

The most authentic and generous Viennese restaurant I ate in the Netherlands. Too busy eating pho Bo to take a photo. Really flavorful broth and tender beef. The spring rolls are wonderful and I love this creative dipping sauce with shrimp paste in it.

Delicious! Always freshly made and of high quality

Disgusting and expensive food. We went to the store to get takeout. I should have followed my intuition. The food looked horrible and tasted even worse. We ordered rice with meat. Well, it was just plain boiled white rice and boiled, hard, dry beef without any seasoning or spices. It tasted and smelled like horrible school canteen food. Seeing that they already had it all prepared beforehand should have put me off, but there were so many positive reviews that I wanted to try it. Bad decision. 50€ thrown away and a crappy dinner.

Delicious Vietnamese takeaway/restaurant. The Pho was delicious, I also really recommend their cold spring rolls. Prices were fair and the service was fast. I do have to note this place is mostly for takeaway as they only have a few tables with stools to sit on. Definitely check these guys out!

Very tasty! The clear spring rolls, the banh mi and the pho. Delicious. Also ready within 15 minutes for collection. And also free (delicious) spring rolls because we have them through their own website. This is a keeper!

Tasty meals, quick and friendly service, reasonably priced Vietnamese street food

I was a bit skeptical asian food here in NL since usually it was adjusted to local taste. It turns out that the food is superr delicious. I ordered Pho Ga. Visiting Vietnam few years ago and the taste is so authentic. The soup even the chicken are so tasty! I love spicy food and ask them to put more chili. For sure will become regular here! And the people there are so friendly!

What a treat to find our own little piece of Đà Lạt in Leiden! The food is amazing and the service very friendly. I recommended the place to my French family that was visiting and they ordered here two days in a row. This gem brings you quality Vietnamese food with a smile. If you are looking for a fancy place to sit down, this might not be your style of restaurant. It is probably better for ordering in or lone travelers looking for a quality phở. However, they have some high seats and were kind enough to let us hot-fix some seats outside. The portions are fresh, plentiful and the Bun Bo Hue has a nice kick to it. This might just be one of my favorite restaurants in Leiden.

Great Vietnamese food and generous portions! Loved my Bun Bo Hue - full of flavor, fresh herbs and more than enough stewed beef. The fresh spring roles were great, too (although given the size of the main dishes, starters truly aren’t necessary). If I had to fault anything, I suppose the noodles they use here are a bit thicker than the thin rice noodles you typically get in Vietnam. That said - all things considered this is a wonderful place and I’ll gladly eat here again.

I grew up eating Vietnamese food and I thought the food here was very authentic. I had the crispy pancake vegetarian - it was crispy and the filling was tasty. The customer service was also very lovely!!

This place is really really good! If you want just want a quick banh mi on the go or a hearty bowl of pho, stop here.

I tried the Pho, Pho Bo and shrimp spring rolls. It was really a pleasant surprize to find such authentic food and this variety of choice in noodle soups. The meals were generous with rich flavours and it was full of fresh ingredients. Added to that, the chef was so friendly and make you feel very comfortable. Definitively worth it. Try passing by if you can :))

Wat een geweldig Vietnamees restaurant met echt heerlijke gerechten van zeer hoge kwaliteit. Dat maakt de prijs kwaliteit verhouding helemaal uitstekend! Het service niveau is erg hoog, ze maken het je graag naar je zin. Ze houden goed rekening met allergieën en voorkeuren. En wat ik super leuk vind is dat het een familierestaurant is! Kortom een echte aanrader! Dikke 10 plus!

Heerlijk en vers eten, de mensen die er werken hebben passie voor hun vak

De lenterolletjes bevatten een overmaat aan witte (sliertjes) noodles, een blaadje sla en nog iets kleins. Oja, ik vond nog stukje komkommer en dat was het, bovendien te weinig dipsaus. Dus: Goedkope noodlesvulling, en zeer weinig verse fijngesneden groenten. De rest van de maaltijden ( drie verschillende) was een allergaartje met oosters aandoende smaken. Liever 1,5 ster

So far we only had summer rolls but it was so good that we're sure that the rest of yhe menu must be great. We're certainly coming back for more.

I had a nice meal (ordered 'xiu mai' and spring rolls with beef). Both were quite delicious. The only improvement that could be made is going easier on the salt as I found it a bit much.

Nog steeds erg lekker, maar de prijzen zijn wel met 20% (!) gestegen. Ook zijn de gerechten minder goed gevuld dan voorheen. Bij de cha gio ga (loempia’s) slechts een blaadje sla, bijna geen munt en koriander en drie druppels saus in het bakje. De pho bo en hu tieu (soepen) komen met minder vlees en groente, en meer noedels. Ook het kwarteleitje ontbrak. Ik hoop dat dit verbetert, want Da Lat is al jaren een van mijn favorieten.

Vriendelijke mensen en goed eten. Vooral de viskoekjes en de garnalen loempias vind ik erg goed, heb ze nooit beter gehad.

All I can think about lately is their Banh Mi. Especially lemongrass beef & pork pate are 🤌🏼🤌🏼👌🏻

Echt een super lekkere Vietnamees. Smaakt inderdaad zoals het in Vietnam is en ook andere reviews zeggen. Had soep besteld online en die kwam nog heet aan! Top!

Bestellen regelmatig bij Da Lat (voorheen ook weleens daar gegeten). Vers, gezond en goede smaken. Aanrader.

Puede decirle al propietario: el chef es un apasionado de la comida, la comida es fresca, tiene un buen equilibrio de sabores (agrio, dulce, salado, amargo y picante), y es súper delicioso. Me encantó conseguir un poco de cilantro recién cortado, menta y verduras de hoja verde para acompañar lo que pedí, esta fue realmente la guinda. El lugar se ve ordenado, limpio y bien organizado. Hay pocas heces para comer en el lugar, pero es principalmente una comida para llevar. Los precios son más que justos. Volveré aquí por más.

Na het eten in Vietnam is het een aangename verrassing dezelfde kwaliteitsstandaard in Nederland tegen te komen. De smaken zijn goed in balans met pit toe te voegen naar smaak zoals het hoort. De producten zijn kraakvers en met zorg bereid en verpakt. EN niet te vergeten draagt het personeel de Vietnamese gastvrijheid en vriendelijkheid naar voren, steeds weer even op reis bij Da Lat!

Pannenkoekjes (beef en vega), sup en salade met garnalen besteld. Alles met veel zorg gemaakt, verpakt en afgeleverd, inclusief verse kruiden! Niet lang hoeven wachten. Alles even vers en heerlijk. Dat gaan we vaker eten
