The lady was constantly on the phone with someone while serving another customer and me. I felt awkward… She didn’t even say goodbye! We are customers that pay not only for the food, but also for food and experience. The loempia (spring roll) costs 1.90€ per piece, and was hot when served. There were many more delicious looking snacks.

In short, it was an excruciatingly bad experience

Ordered a spring roll. I just felt like it. "That would be 1.50." 'Well, that's pricey,' I thought. Rice sheets are probably also in short supply because of Putin, so go ahead. Since I like spicy, I asked for a little extra sambal. Like I always do. “Extra sambal means paying extra,” I was told. I asked if she was joking. At every other spring roll stand I have ever ordered from, this is not an issue at all and it is just service and customer friendliness. But that is what Dagoberta Nguyen thinks apparently different. I had missed that a teaspoon of sambal is now liquid gold. Learned something again. Spring roll: was ok, but fried too short, because not crispy enough. And not spicy at all, because not enough sambal. Service: lousy

Good Vietnamese Spring Rolls and also many other snacks and many different soft drinks. You can take away but also eat on site, friendly and fast service. Present for many years every day of the week except Sunday and Monday.

Overall, the spring rolls here are fine, compared to other spring roll carts in Leiden, I think these are slightly lower in quality and are a bit more expensive. There is a larger selection of snacks at this cart, although they are relatively pricey. The included sauce is quite sparse in terms of quantity and taste.
