An easy to miss gem, with a nice menu

A small and cozy Vietnamese restaurant in the heart of Leiden. We passed by and decided to give Vina's a try. The shrimp summer roll are delicious and definitely recommend these. The beef noodle is good. The broth is good although the beef could have been a bit more tastier. The employee was very friendly, like a true host. Price quality is very poor, for €19 per Pho I would expect more! What you get is a little bit of rice noodles (not even enough for a child's meal), pre-made (dry and hard). MSG Soup! Lots of bean sprouts and some coriander and spring onions! Not even mint, lime and stuff!

After the cinema (Trianon - best popcorn!) Let's have something to eat. It's already late, but we were just allowed in. Very nice and friendly plus a delicious beef curry and the chicken curry for my wife. Man, how nice. Thank you!

I ordered from this store. Love Vietnamese food. I ordered a dish with spring rolls. I didn't need the salad, which is optional, but it turned out not to be a salad but the vegetables. My container with sauce and meat was also half full. I called to check and a nice gentleman helped me well. After consultation with the kitchen, it turned out that I had received the last bit. The gentleman solved the problem more than well and a delivery person arrived in no time with delicious food and broccoli, even a drink. He helped me a lot and the food tasted delicious. This makes me want to order here again!

Super tasty ban mhi's and smoothies!

Today we enjoyed a delicious high tea. Fresh and tasty snacks. All prepared with care. Delicious types of tea in abundance. Friendly hostess, relaxed environment. Really recommended for everyone! We had a pleasant afternoon, thank you!

Very sad. My food was delivered half lukewarm and soggy... the restaurant hid behind the delivery but they could have also prepared fresh chicken spring rolls again... there were only 8 spring rolls. The spring rolls I got weren't even warm!!! The delivery person took 7 minutes (as soon as available), but I had to wait an hour because there was no delivery person available via Uber. Luckily I got part of my money back through Uber. I'm still very angry!!! Ordered before but it was just good.. very disappointed in this restaurant. I will never order from here again! What a mockery. Nice for your customer to deliver delicious semi-lukewarm food..

Smerigste Bahn Mi ooit. Was niks Vietnamees aan. Stelde eerst een vraag over de variant met varkensvlees en kreeg toen de suggestie om voor de kip curry te gaan.

Paid 19.50 for a pho. Online it costs 16.50, but because you order at the counter it is more expensive. The pho is tasty but not special and not worth the money.

Today we had a delicious deluxe high tea at Vina's Noodles. Highly recommended! Lovely staff and very tasty snacks. You start with some sweet dishes and then you can choose some snacks from the menu. Enjoy it piece by piece. Thank you very much for this wonderful high tea!

A restaurant on Thuisbezorgd that does not deliver to your home because they do not have a delivery person... costs €70 for 3 people. When you arrive at the restaurant, you may also wait 20 minutes. Shameless!

Banh Mi Pork (baguette pork) was a disappointment! Sandwich is €8 and at first glance the banh mi seems large, but the sandwich is only long and very small. The banh mi is also more than half filled with vegetables and contains little pork. The vegetables on it, such as carrots, are also not leavened, which is always the case with banh mi. Shame.

Sandwiches were mediocre...meat tough, vegetables cut in the last century. Too expensive and not good.

If I could give the food a 0/5 rating, I would have. Incredibly salty (vegetarian) pho. I am a Vietnamese who has lived in the NL for more than 5 years, so I was already expecting all the unauthentic food there. But this is just straight up inedible, salty, and unauthentic pho. Not the right type of rice noodles, random vegetables in the soup, no beansprouts, ONE tiny piece of lemons for TWO bowls of pho. There is literally no good thing that I can say about the food. I tried my best to finish the food that I have paid for out of guilt for my own money, but I could not even finish half of it. Please please please avoid! Or order something else that is not pho, although I highly doubt if it's even good.

NOT recommend for vietnamese food lovers ! The price for each main dish here is between 18€ - 20€. It is actually a normal price nowadays for restaurant dishes. However, the food doesnt taste authentic, not even close. Pretty disappointed in term of taste and flavour. Its not bad, eatable. But if u know how vietnamese food should taste, you will not find it here. The staff is friendly though!

Delicious food with the spring roll mix. The dumplings (I hope I named it correctly) were especially delicious. In addition, the smoothie was also wonderfully fresh. I will definitely come back here to try a main course.

We wanted to try this place because we heard the Bánh mì was good. The first time we tried to go we biked in the pouring rain and got there about an hour before they were supposed to close. We entered and there were people there and seats open. The waiter said they were closed.....we checked the posted time on the door and they should not be closed.... A couple of days later we thought we would give them another chance. We arrived several hours before the posted close time.... but just missed the cutoff for Bánh mì...5pm. We instead got the Stir fried Udon noodles with chicken and the Grilled Chicken Hanoi rice noodles & spring roll. They were both really good, but would have loved to try the Bánh mì. Oh, well maybe next time we're in Leiden.

We were disappointed, the food was not authentic at all, Da lat is much better. It's just very simple and not very flavourful. The beef pho for example tasted exactly like instant noodles. Especially for the price, almost every main course is €19,50. Staff is friendly

Quite a nice sandwich, but not really a Vietnamese bahn mi: no pate, no Vietnamese green addition (Vietnamese mint or basil). And €8 for a small baguette to take away is really quite pricey.

Hmm. so far I have eaten here a few times already. I choose to be here if possible when I am in Leiden because I like the food, the place is clean and I appreciate the friendly service of the staff.

The rice is so dry I think it’s leftover rice. The chicken is not like in the picture and it’s salty. It’s not worth 17.5€.

Very tasty authentic Vietnamese restaurant with fair pricing

Fantastic, delicious food served by an enthusiastic and friendly waitress. The decor is lovely and the ambience is nice. I enjoyed the lemongrass chicken and the Vietnamese coffee. And as a non Dutch speaking person I had no difficulties ordering here. Also good vegan options!

Food is okay, but way too overpriced…

19 for euro bad pho, dont go.. couldve been ok for 5 euros as per quality... looks like a restauraunt where owner tried to make the place nice then left it alone, hence crusts on tables and ground and unenthusiastic staff. empty plates on show in storefront and freezer in middle of tables with meat/ingredients is absurd.

Unfortunately the worst pho I’ve ever had. €18 for a medium bowl, with extremely and overly salty broth, firm rice noodles, and, grilled chicken? Chicken pho is usually shredded poached chicken. Then they wanted to charge me €1 for a glass of hot water, which I needed to dilute the saltiness. Would recommend trying another dish on the menu.

Took 45 minutes to get lukewarm food that was super tasty and you pay 20 euros for that......

The Special Noodle Pho was just perfect on a rainy day. Great flavor and fresh and flavorful veggies in it with the shrimp and chicken. The Shrimp Summer Rolls were also really tasty. The mint lemonade was delicious and refreshing!

I had a good experience in this resto. We love the chicken curry and i had the fried pork with noodles. Staff were accommodating and nice. Restaurant is clean and organized.

A nice Vietnamese restaurant in the city centre of Leiden. The service lady was very nice and the food was good. The ginger, lime & honey tea was very good and the Dutch spring rolls were funny and 👌 At least I had the feeling that I had something Dutch for dinner😆

Awful taste, overpriced food, a no go place. The moment I sat down and read the menu, I already wanted to leave but I thought to myself how wrong could this possibly be? But what happened proved my guts not wrong. The pho tastes like instant noodles which you could shop from supermarkets. The soup base doesn’t taste like broth being cooked with original ingredients but more like chemical compounds. The noodles are nothing like pho noodles, they are thick, wide and not very pleasant taste. they charge you 19.50 euros with very small portions. I got nausea afterwards because everything was just like bad quality instant noodles. Nothing like the Vietnamese food I had before. The Vietnamese iced coffee is served with powdered coffee with unblended thick syrup on the bottom. I had to really stir the syrup but there was no use. It was all stuck on the bottom and I have never had such terrible Vietnamese iced coffee. I gave my feedback to the waiter who said they didn’t blend the drink because customers would prefer to DIY it? Do you consider offering an unblended beverage DIY? I bet their ‘customers’ are really playful with food. The waitress looks like something has long bothered her. In a word, if this restaurant is open in other locations with more Vietnamese restaurant competitors, it will go bankrupt.

Delicious food! Tasty lemonade too!

We had made a reservation for high tea. When we arrived we were the first. That made it seem a little less atmospheric. But after more people trickled in, the atmosphere became a lot nicer and it also looked cozier. The Vietnamese high tea is highly recommended, a mixture of Dutch and Vietnamese snacks. More than enough, and you can choose which Vietnamese snacks you want. Tea of ​​your choice and as much as you want. Even wine was an option. Staff are very friendly.

Would not recommend. Misleading info for almost all meals and for delivery options. No vegetables in our meals (just plain rice and meat), even though this was in the meal description. Thick noodles when thin noodles where advertised. Also no cutlery delivered, when this was ordered (and paid for). Last, they deliver smaller sized drinks.

Nice interior, friendly staffs. Their lime mint lemonade is excellent! I have ordered pho beef. The soup is nice, but I think they can slice the beef a bit thinner slices that would be more like how it is in Vietnam. And that the noodle is sadly a bit too hard! The texture is really disappointing given everything else is so nice. 20 euros for noodle like thatis a bit pricey. I will give 3 stars for the noodle and the extra star is for the drink. I will come back to try other food. It is a nice place.

we had high tea. We received unlimited tea and you can choose which tea flavor you want per round and you get this in a cute teapot. I had never heard of most of the teas on the menu, which was nice because you can try out many different flavors. the first round we got sweet snacks. In the 2nd round we were allowed to choose flavors from the menu: banh mi, summer rolls, spring rolls and ha cao. We had the summer rolls with chicken and they were really well seasoned with a delicious dressing. the rest of the snacks were also very tasty. the staff was nice and had a nice chat. It is highly recommended to have a nice high tea here!!

The chicken curry here is the best thing you'll taste in Leiden. Close your eyes when you eat it and you'll be transported right back into the streets of Vietnam. Also the Bahn Mi, especially the Hanoi chicken is a perfect lunch option. Everything is fresh, perfectly cooked and delicious. The one thing I would recommend is stocking a different IPA than the Pronck.

Great food and affordable. I had the Pho Ga, soup was very rich and you could really taste the individual ingredients. Though I would have liked a bigger portion of noodles. The banh mi was crunchy and the pork very juicy. And the summer rolls we very tasty and well marinated.

First time i try Vietnamese food. It was a pleasant experience. Good food and satisfying flavors. The portions are filling.

Nice place, good food, and they have delivery through all the services. Ordered online delivery directly from the restaurant website the last time and unfortunately the food was 45 minutes late. Food was still good and hot ( shrimp curry was a bit watery, but the spring rolls and chicken noddle dish was great) but not the first time having issues with delivery so likely not going to order again. Maybe next time we’ll eat in.

I ordered in and the food arrived warm. Portion is very filling and it was as described: veggies, noodles & Prawns in a creamy coconut sauce. It was very flavourful & I enjoyed this dish very much

Beautiful small place near Leiden centraal with a super clean setup and a cozy ambience. Serving authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Spring rolls were amazing with both chicken and pork and also loved the banh mi ( Vietnamese broodje) they have a good selection of beverages too with nice coffee. Definitely visiting it again.

A small and quiet resturant, with amazing food. I went here 3 times during my trip and tried both the Pho, stir fried noodles and one more rice noodle dish with fried chicken. They were are all really good.

We ordered online and picked up the food to enjoy it at home. We ordered 2 portions of this dish: Gegrilde kip Hanoi & loempia's met noedels. We had to pay extra for the loempia's, got one tiny bit of sauce, and no salad at all. The dish we got was something completely different than is suggested on the menu/on the website (see the photo's).

Located in the center of Leiden, 5 mins walk from the underground parking place. the place is always pretty full. the pho' s are quite tasty. but a bit on the pricier side. I would definitely recommend their lime cocktail.

Great little Vietnamese place which actually serves Vietnamese food. As an Australian who was homesick for more than just Indonesian food, this place was a godsend. Great Pho and many other options for those who want something else (though not sure why you would). Highly recommend this place to anyone!

We had spring rolls here, which was delicious. The hot lime ginger tea was OKayish only. Great service, though, and food was served pretty fast.

Had nem cuon and pho bo. Best of either we have had in the Netherlands, though a little bit pricey. Service was very friendly. Couldn't give five stars because no dipping sauce for nem or herbs and lime for pho, but it was right at closing time. Very nice wall painting. Would go again.

Summer rolls were quite nice but the vegetarian pho was mediocre at best, so you'd be better off finding a more tasty and authentic place at this price point (€17.50). You get the feeling the management aren't counting on getting repeat customers because they are trying to squeeze you for all the little extras they can – someone in our group was charged €3.50 for an extra bowl of soup that was just hot water and chicken stock. There's also a tepid atmosphere in the restaurant and the server seemed quite scared of her boss in the back which created a bit of a tense environment. Overall a very bland and unaccommodating experience so will not be going back.
