Da Rosario in Hoofddorp

We were helped very kindly by Giuseppe. The food was also delicious!

Giuseppe helped us excellently and the food was delicious.

We were here again yesterday. A huge disappointment, unfortunately. We wanted to eat Italian food, which basically means antipasti, then pasta (primo), and then a piece of meat or something similar (secundo). We sat waiting for over an hour for the antipasti, and half an hour for a carafe of wine. Then someone came to say that the portions were very large. To which we replied that we wanted Italian food, so a small portion of pasta, which was actually not possible. After waiting another hour, the secundo arrived, so the meat instead of the pasta. So we asked, "How does that work?" "Well, you get meat first and then pasta." If you don't know how the Italian kitchen works, you shouldn't start an Italian restaurant. Other customers were able to enjoy our comment and were laughing uncontrollably. Just turn it into a pizzeria; you probably understand that. One of my guests wanted a small pizza, and we had already finished our meat by the time it finally arrived. I came all the way from Heemskerk specifically because I had a super good meal here a few years ago. Now, never again. A real shame.

A very good place, the best in all of Amsterdam. The pizza is spectacular, and the staff are very friendly; the owner is very attentive and kind.

Family restaurant, I like that it has always stayed the same with tasty pizzas at a normal price. No fuss.

Top place, 10 stars! Very tasty pizza and fantastic staff

After 20 years, we drove to Hoofddorp again to eat here. We live in Leiden ourselves. Usually, a good experience from the past turns out to be disappointing, but not in this case. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and attentive. We even received a dessert that was no longer on the menu. You can really tell that the owner runs his business with love, passion, and enjoyment. Highly recommended!!

Delicious food, enjoyed everything

Best Italian restaurant ever!!! Everything perfect

Delicious and affordable. But where's Brent?

Delicious food and great service. Definitely recommended.

Eating out as if you were at home 😀😃🙂 Takeout is also available. Reservations are required for on-site dining. 1 carpaccio 2 bresaola

Good pizzeria with an extensive menu and tasty dishes

The pizza was great, but the interior really needs a professional cleaning. There are way too many stains. Not very hygienic...

Beef carpaccio was delicious. All food was fresh and well made. Owner and all staff were very friendly and offered good, quick service. Interior decor is really quaint and adorable. Spent a lovely evening here and would definitely return. Thank you.

The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. The atmosphere was very pleasant and welcoming.

What a lovely, peaceful restaurant thanks to the interior layout. The food was also more than good. But the friendly and excellent service from the staff is the deciding factor in giving this five stars.

Pleasant welcome, friendly service and delicious food. Had a great evening.

Thursday evening, atmospheric busy, very competent staff and very good food, fresh, tasty and with enough stories.... highly recommended if you are in the area....

Gem in Hoofddorp. Food was very tasty. We ordered pizzas and can't wait to go back to try the lasagna. The tiramisu was delicious and the service very friendly and attentive. Really recommended.

We randomly picked this place on Google and it turned out to be a lucky find. Although we arrived just before closing time, we were warmly welcomed and served a delicious pizza. Thank you so much!

Lovely pizzeria, always nice service and tasty pizza and pasta!

Traditional Sicilian food, passed down from father to son. Traditional decor from 1982. Has something.

All those pizza places in Hoofddorp with all those trendy pizzas are great. But the real, authentic and above all the tastiest pizzas (and pastas) are eaten at Da Rosario. Period.

Great food, the Allegria menu is really great, fantastic pastas and the grand dessert, see photo, was excellent.

Simply, the pizzeria of Hoofddorp. For decades a wonderful place for real and delicious Italian food for a fair price in a cozy environment and with always friendly and attentive staff. Whether it's a quick meal or an extensive meal with friends, a birthday, everything is possible and works well here.

A great restaurant. Friendly staff, good prices with fantastic food. Highly recommended.

The dishes are far from Italian. Pasta cooked in advance. It's okay for non-connoisseurs but not for Italians. Lack of authenticity.

Heerlijk gegeten. Prima portie, prima kwaliteit verhouding.

Nice restaurant for a nice meal.

Aanrader!

Friendly staff (but didn’t ask if we wanted more to drink, we were sitting with empty glasses). It was quite busy. The food is ok. The restaurant is pretty out dated and there were loads of fruit flies. Pretty annoying and not a sign of good hygiene. We did address it and the waitress apologised. I am surprised to read so many great reviews. We’re not coming back.

Fantastic tasty dishes & very pleasant service! The restaurant looks like you're back in the 90s, but I thought that was really nice

Well recovered from the recent fire. Delicious pizzas, but tonight I was the only one who had delicious pasta! Recommended

Pleasant service, good wines and delicious thin-crust pizzas. Excellent price-quality ratio. Pasta is fantastic.

Delicious Italian pizzas with a crispy crust! We always pick up our pizzas here and so I don't know what the atmosphere and service is like in the restaurant. Parking is difficult in front of the door, but if you really want to sit in the restaurant you can also park in the parking garage nearby. Pizza Diavola is highly recommended, but the margarita pizza is also tasty!

Have eaten here before and both the pizzas and pastas are very tasty. Service very friendly. The interior could perhaps be a little more cozy with a small upgrade.

Had super delicious pizzas and a delicious ice cream dessert!

Chewing gummed waitress upon entry, food was nice.

Very pleasant and delicious meal

Pizza pasta spaghetti macaroni lasagna tower of pisa👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😱

Very friendly staff and delicious pizzas.

My husband and I just arrived in town and we're looking for something yummy. We were welcomed warmly by the owner. The service was good and the pizza even better!

Visited them on the King’s day of the Netherlands and they were full house. We ordered two veals and two steaks. They were fine. The sauce for the steak or veal was special.

Always good food and good service

Delicious food, plenty of choice on the menu, cozy atmosphere. The food is really delicious - also via takeaway. Italian toppers!

Friendly staff, delicious pizza

Menu gave a lot of choice. Good service, nice meal. A small downside for me was the space you have in the seating alcoves. Too little between the seat and the table. But everything else makes it a reason to go back.

Nice, small and original Italian restaurant with delicious dishes at a reasonable price. Recommended!

Very cramped seats. Operation can be better and faster. Food is good if you like Italian food.

Fantastic and by far the best Italian cuisine in Hoofddorp and the surrounding area Service also good

Delicious food. Nice reception. Youthful service, but very correct. The menu is old-fashioned, familiar. With the starter Funghi al funghetto and the main course Fiocchetti, you are guaranteed to enjoy it! The prices are very acceptable. We sat in an alcove, which gave us a lot of privacy. Highly recommended for traditional cuisine!

Delicious food! Authentic Italian restaurant with a relaxed, romantic atmosphere.

Excellent food, slow service when the managers not around. Had to wait 25 minutes after sitting down for the menu, then 15 minutes more for drinks. And no, it wasn't full. Food is worth the wait though, would eat there again for sure.

Simply the best pizza. Thin, crispy and fresh products. Nice people

Easily the best italian of Hoofddorp!

Vriendelijke bediening. Gepassioneerde eigenaar. .

Was echt genieten.. lekker eten. Uitstekende bediening.

Food was just ok. Compared to other Madrid restaurants so-so service.

Prima eten erg gezellige bediening. Gekozen voor een verrassing menu. Echt iets apart

Eten is heerlijk

High expectations but poor delivery. Staff is very good and try their best with the conditions provided. Not impressed with the low level of hygiene and quality of food.

Zeer redelijke prijzen. We gaan hier zeker nog eens eten.

Great food with very very lovely people in there. Absolutely a five star. They’ve got a large selection of vegetarian dishes. Nice price as well. Will definitely visit again :)

What a lovely little place. Honest food, good prices and excellent service - the surfing waiter was especially helpful.

Al jaren groot fan. Kwaliteit van eten altijd goed.

A regular place for our Italian dinners. We usually have pasta, and I love their Amatriciana. Tiramisu is a nice end to it. 😊
