We had a fantastic Italian meal. You can call yourself a Trattoria, but you also *are* one. Trattoria Buoni Amici is it. From the absolutely delicious food to the good, personal service. All of this resulted in a top-notch evening to also celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary.

First visit to this restaurant. Nice menu with some specialties to choose from. Extensive wine list featuring classic wines as well as some reasonably priced options. We had a delicious meal and the wine was to our liking too. Friendly service. This evening cost over €255 for 3 people. Starters between €15-€20 and main courses between €34-€39. Dessert approx. €11.50 and a bottle of wine: €44. All in all, the prices could be a bit more reasonable.

The food was more than perfect and the service was superb. Thank you very much for all the good care on this unforgettable evening.

Seriously good place! Tasty food, not a standard menu but rather surprising dishes and beautiful combinations. Good service, they know what they are serving and which wines pair with it. Excellent value for money. The exterior of the place gives no indication of the culinary surprise hidden inside. Highly recommended!!

The service was excellent. Every waiter/waitress knew exactly who had ordered what. So they didn't have to ask at the table. The team really enjoyed the starter and main course. I had duck breast myself. Good choice. For dessert, we had tiramisu. It could have been better. They used way too much cocoa for the topping. And you could tell it wasn't an Italian recipe. I make it better at home.

Cheerful and knowledgeable service, and if the food is good as well, in an atmospheric setting, then all the ingredients are present for a successful and recommended restaurant.

I looked it up on Google Maps and it had good reviews, so I was curious and decided to visit. When I actually went there, I was impressed by the cute interior, the great atmosphere, and the comfortable ambiance. What was especially wonderful was the service from the staff. They were very kind and friendly, and I was able to enjoy my meal comfortably from start to finish. Since I was there, I asked for their recommended wine and dishes and ordered them, and both were truly delicious and very satisfying. The food and wine paired well together, and I was able to enjoy it at a leisurely pace. It's easy to see why this restaurant has such high ratings on Google Maps. The food, atmosphere, and service were all wonderful, and I would definitely like to visit again when I'm in the area.

The food was sublime again (including fresh catch of the day cooked to perfection), but the real highlight is the staff. Extremely attentive, they give you personal attention, and are up for a joke; truly TOP service!

I have been coming here for years, and it is always a treat to dine here. That starts right from the moment you enter. Extremely friendly service with knowledgeable staff regarding the dishes being served, and recommendations from the chef alongside the menu. And there are people in the kitchen who deserve a star. It is always top-notch. And all of this in a nice, open atmosphere. I am happy to drive many kilometers out of my way for this restaurant.

We walked in today around opening time without a reservation. We were immediately helped in a very pleasant and friendly manner by the staff. Excellent menu with interesting dishes. We really enjoyed the 'risotto con camberi'. But other dishes on the menu also caught our attention. We will definitely be back!

Always amazing. Both the à la carte menu and the daily special feature beautiful dishes full of flavor. The owner/hostess and hosts are warm, attentive, and above all, very knowledgeable. We leave the wine selection to them and are pleasantly surprised every time by how well the wines complement the dishes. A fantastic place!

Last night we celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary with friends at our favorite Italian restaurant. It was another fantastic evening with the Chef's surprise 5-course menu. Delicious dishes, fine wines, and, as always, friendly service. We were wonderfully spoiled again ♥️ It was pure enjoyment, and we felt like we were back in Italy for a moment. (Where we were on vacation just 3 weeks ago)

Lovely food, attentive service. Glad we came by for dinner on our last evening in the Netherlands! We last visited more than 11 years ago. Still the same chef, same quality cuisine and the restaurant looks better than ever. Hopefully we'll be back again!

Last night, our group of friends thoroughly enjoyed both the excellent quality of the dishes and the accompanying wines, as well as the knowledgeable and, above all, friendly staff. At Buoni Amici, all our expectations were truly exceeded, and we will therefore certainly be returning more often. We would especially like to thank Luuk for his skilled and warm service. The scallops with the delicate strands of zucchini and the flavorful red peppercorns were an absolute highlight, in particular. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant and peaceful. It is highly recommended for anyone in Hoofddorp who loves good, honest food. We will certainly be back here soon.

Every time I come to the Netherlands, I always try to return to this restaurant, which has been one of my favorites for years. I've been there twice already this year, and unfortunately, I've noticed a noticeable change. The dishes aren't what they used to be. In the past, they were carefully crafted, colorful, inviting, and above all, much tastier. Today, the plating appears less refined and harmonious, while the quality and flavor of the dishes no longer convey the same emotions I remembered. The menu, in my opinion, has also lost some of its identity. The dishes of the past were more interesting and better balanced. Today, I find many of the presentations repetitive: the same decorative dots or designs on the plate that, frankly, don't add value to the experience. I prefer a simple but well-made dish, rich in color, flavor, and personality, rather than decorations that leave little room for substance. I'm sorry to write this because in the past, I've always recommended this restaurant and sincerely complimented its cuisine. This is precisely why I'm even more disappointed. I've noticed a marked decline in both the presentation and overall quality of the dishes. It's a real shame, because it was a place I was very fond of. I hope it can regain the quality that made it special, but after my recent experiences, I don't think I'll eat here again. Greetings from Tuscany!

Had a small family-dinner on Tuesday. I believe that during weekdays it's more a business atmosphere. Hoever, the food and wine were excellent, the service outstanding! Personally, I would most definitely recommend their perfect asperagus soup as a starter.

The food was excellent. The food and wine pairings were also well thought out. As a wine connoisseur, I can compliment the extensive wine list. There is also a large number of wines by the glass of the type you don't drink every day.

Had a fantastic meal on Grandpa & Grandma Day on June 4th with our grandchildren. Only our grandchildren had to pay; grandpa and grandma ate for free—a fantastic deal.

We dined here on May 22, 2026, to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday. A very warm welcome and friendly service. The food and wine were explained well. Thanks to the beautiful weather, we were able to sit outside. Furthermore, a very beautiful dessert with a personal congratulation in Italian.

At Buoni Amici, you always feel welcome. The welcome is most cordial, and the atmosphere is convivial. The evening begins wonderfully with some delicious bread, fantastic olive oil, and salt and pepper. That's a treat in itself. The menu offers a variety of fine dishes, always pure and unpretentious. There are also a number of delicious specials. The expert staff always knows how to pair these dishes with a wonderful wine. Once the dishes are served, there's no need to ask who's having which dish, even if a colleague has taken the order. The desserts are also always excellent. Affogato is always available off the menu. After all these delicacies, there's also a limoncello. Every visit is a fantastic experience.

We had a wonderful meal here. We're used to eating Italian food, and the food was absolutely comparable to what you'd find in Italy. It's a shame the restaurant didn't smell of Italian food, and the decor couldn't have been further removed from the Italian atmosphere. The interior was dull and impersonal. The service was good, but felt stiff and pretentious. We were supposed to have potatoes with our order, but they didn't arrive. The menu says "extra bread," which we assume means you'll get bread anyway and can order more, but the only basket of bread that arrived was included on the bill. Dishes come with some garnishes. Vegetables, potatoes, etc., have to be ordered separately. That ultimately adds up.

We ended up here while staying overnight near Schiphol. This restaurant exudes craftsmanship in both the kitchen and the service. Hospitality as it should be! I love dining out, but I've rarely had such a wonderful experience thanks to the high-quality food and friendly, helpful staff! Keep up the good work!

A warm welcome, friendly and knowledgeable staff, a good wine list, and a fantastic atmosphere. A restaurant with a distinct Italian feel. The food was fine, though not every dish was fantastic. Burrata was too cold, pumpkin soup delicious, ravioli tasty but way too salty. The meat was superb. Dessert was fine. Tastes are a matter of taste. What keeps us from visiting this restaurant again is the amount of food you get for the price. The price is completely off. Ten pieces of ravioli for that price made even me, a not-so-big-eater, laugh. Consider it positive feedback.

The dessert was so delicious we'd happily have taken a portion home – including the recipe! The hospitality also deserves a huge compliment. The hosts exuded professionalism and warmth, as if they'd always done it. We felt incredibly welcome and well cared for. If I had to offer one piece of feedback, it would be the portion size – for the price you pay, you expect a slightly more substantial plate (especially vegetables and potatoes; the vitello with the starter could have been more generous). Highly recommended – we'll definitely be back!

But when you have everything perfectly perfect, from start to finish, it deserves, no, it must be mentioned. I've rarely enjoyed a piece of tenderloin so much, perfectly cooked, wow wow wow... Great restaurant! A warm welcome, coats were politely taken and hung up. Upon departure, they were handed back, and the ladies were helped into theirs. Pleasant atmosphere, soft background music, and despite the large number of guests, it was easy to chat peacefully. The food was very tasty, a feast for the eyes and the taste buds.
