We had a special meal there on Boxing Day. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were very friendly. My husband even made a new friend! We'll definitely be back. Excellent!

Great restaurant! A warm welcome, coats were politely taken and hung up. Upon departure, they were handed back, and the ladies were helped into theirs. Pleasant atmosphere, soft background music, and despite the large number of guests, it was easy to chat peacefully. The food was very tasty, a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. Refined cuisine, with great care. We will definitely be back. Recommended!

Great trattoria with beautiful atmosphere. Ordered scallops for starter and crab pasta for main. They are delicious and dessert was also wonderful. The service here is great and staff is also very friendly. Was given complimentary limoncello which was wonderful.

It's now my 4th time that I visited Trattoria and I must admit it was as good as the other times. The service is excellent, time for a quick joke when appropriate or silent service at other moments. I always take colleagues to this place, and everyone likes it. One of my colleagues from the US said if this is a score 10/10 in my region I don't get higher than a 5-6 that's the level of quality of food, wine and service! Well done again

Went there with work colleagues for dinner. Everything from the moment we walked in was amazing. We got greeted in a very pleasant way, they took our coats and put them away somewhere where there was absolutely no smell on them when we got them back. The atmosphere is super nice, romantic but urban, quiet but not too quiet, dark but not too dark, and very well balanced. You could smell the cooking but very, very lightly when you walked in, and it smelled soooooo good. The appetizer was phenomenal , main dishes made it hard to choose which one to get as they were all amazing , the dessert was great, and the wine was so good we had to get another bottle. The person serving us knows everything about the food and the wine and was super attentive but not too attentive. Well done!!!

Without a doubt, the best Italian restaurant in the area in terms of quality, but that's understandable considering the prices. What's missing is a surprising extra, like an amuse-bouche or something different than the standard glass of limoncello or a prepackaged cantuccini with your coffee you get at any other restaurant. There's a wide selection of wines, but even here, the prices are a bit steep. The staff is welcoming and friendly, but I think this should be standard fare.

We went to dinner with my girlfriend last night. We received a very warm welcome, and we could choose from two tables. The service was quick, and the daily menu was clearly explained. The staff took their time with us. We didn't have to wait long for each dish. The food was delicious and there was nothing to complain about. We will definitely be back. A solid 10.

I recently attended the wine and food afternoon at Amici. We were pleasantly surprised by the wines and the excellent wine and food pairings. Mats also presented everything beautifully. It was a very successful afternoon, thanks to the Amici team!

We are (or rather, were) regulars at Buoni Amici, which, while expensive, we considered a good choice for "more than pizza" Italian food in Hoofddorp. But what happened to us last night is truly indescribable. I had the sea bass. I have above-average taste and smell. This sea bass simply wasn't fresh. Not really spoiled either, but bordering on the edge. It had a smell that wasn't right (for those in the know, it's due to elevated polyamine concentrations). After taking two bites, I sent the sea bass back, saying this and also that I didn't want another (I'd lost my appetite). Within 30 seconds, a very agitated chef arrived at the table and loudly announced that the fish was good. He also took a bite of the fish (with his fingers...) at our table to demonstrate that what I said was all BS. His tone and choice of words were intimidating and aggressive. I calmly repeated my findings and at one point I said I wanted to end the conversation because the chef was really going crazy. It was truly awful and extremely unprofessional. The rest of the staff were completely speechless... To top it all off, the dish wasn't removed from the bill. It was over €270 (3 appetizers, 4 main courses, no desserts (of course not, haha), nor a bottle of wine). Truly scandalous treatment. We will never go back there.

We were expecting a real trattoria with authentic, simple Italian food at fair prices but unfortunately, this was not the case. The staff was friendly, but the service felt more focused on selling than creating a warm atmosphere. The truffle pasta was disappointing and lacked flavor, while the ribeye steak was excellent. There was no children’s menu. Overall, prices and ambiance do not match what you would expect from a true trattoria.

We had a great experience here. My colleague and I did not have a reservation and when we arrived the restaurant was quite busy (it was a Wednesday night). They were able to accommodate us quickly and gave us a nice quiet table where we could talk. We both ordered the pasta special of the night which was fresh and delicious (and we were lucky to get the last two for the night). The dessert menu did not disappoint and we both enjoyed our choices. Staff helped with recommendations and they were very attentive and friendly Didn’t expect such an amazing meal for a last minute experience. Will find a reason to return!

Two weeks ago I came to eat at this restaurant with 2 Dutch friends, it's already the fourth time we've come, we've always been happy, but this time it was a huge disappointment. The appetizers were very badly plated, the other times they were well looked after and it was almost a shame to eat them given how beautiful they were, and in any case the taste of eating wasn't that great compared to years ago. Then we ate steak and lamb, the cooking wasn't what we wanted, and then there was too much decoration to eat... unfortunately it's no longer the restaurant it used to be... we were really disappointed! Sin!

A few days ago I went to eat at this place with an English and a Dutch friend of mine. Premised that I know the cuisine abroad Italian is not the same, but having read the reviews I trusted. Appetizer very bad, badly plated ,inedible meat and the potatoes raw. The salmon passable. I don't know who cooks , surely they are young Italian guys , with no experience who go abroad and feel they can be chefs, just because of nationality.

De gamba's waren zeer pittig, helaas was dat voor mij niet helemaal duidelijk. Ik ben helaas niet zo van het hele pittige eten, dus was wel prettig geweest als dat ook was gezegd. Het tempo van de verschillende gangen ging voor ons iets te snel, waardoor we ons wat gehaast voelden. We hebben onze andere ervaringen inmiddels met de eigenaar gedeeld, en deze heeft o.a. de menukaart al aangepast. ik ga ervanuit dat het de volgende keer beter gaat en we weer dezelfde beleving krijgen als voorheen.

Real Italian food with delicious dishes. The beetroot tartare with gorgonzola was a surprising taste explosion. Then we had black linguine with sea urchin, really fantastic. I had the worst dining experience at this restaurant. I ordered the ravioli, and it was absolutely dreadful. For €24, I only got 5 ravioli—making each piece cost nearly €5! Not only was the portion ridiculously small, but the ravioli was overwhelmingly salty to the point where half the meal seemed to be nothing but salt. I even consider myself someone who can handle salty food, but this was just too much. It was quite expensive, and I was hoping for a fancy dinner, but instead, I got a terrible meal. This place is a rip-off, and I would never recommend it to anyone. Terrible value for money and the worst meal I’ve had in a long time. Avoid at all costs!

I come and sitting there for 25mins more or less, besides the first order of a juice, 5 more waiters/waitresses walking around and ignored me. They even prefer to collect the empty bowels. Really a bad experience.

This place is amizing. Its the secound time I came here with a business friend. The owner has created a gem. From starter to dessert it goes without saying. I very nice menu as well as some specials. Tartar as a starter, extra quality ribeye, home made Panna Cotta. Hard to top. Great service and hospitalty included.

Delicious food at Amici! The service was excellent and the staff were exceptionally friendly. What I really liked is that they always have a different meal of the day, which provides variety. The burrata was delicious and the pea soup was also very tasty. The steak was cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The portions are small, but excellent in size and quality. Of course, you have to finish with a Tiramisu. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but for the quality of the food it is definitely worth it. A nice experience!

Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. It started with toasted bread that was burnt. Beef tenderloin for 34.50 with 3 very small potatoes and very few vegetables. When it was served the meat was already lukewarm. Bad service, no one comes to ask if it tastes good, and difficult to speak to someone. They walk by but don't look. So I couldn't report it until late, and the answer I got was that it was lukewarm because I was already halfway through! 2 people for 130,- without dessert, we really don't think it's worth it!

Mooie 2e kerstdag 👌heel vriendelijk bij de reservering maar ook bij binnenkomst zeer gastvrij; het gast om de kleine dingen die het doen . Deur openen , jas aan nemen ; welkoms woordje : uitleg over de menu kaart. Bediening over de hele avond ; top Gewoon van de kaart , porties mooi Wijn top er bij . Afgesloten met een glaasje limoncello. Dan heb je pas een avond uit ; lekker eten . Daar kan menig restaurant een voorbeeld aan nemen.

Amici is the ideal place for small groups (date, business dinner, etc.) or for larger groups such as a birthday dinner or company dinner. The menu offers fine dining and includes a wide wine selection where you can make it as crazy as you want. There is also always a new series of dishes from Italian cuisine. My tip: end your dinner with their delicious Sgroppino!

We had something to celebrate and made a reservation for four people at Buoni Amici. The plates of the starter "antipasta Buoni Amici", the main course "sliced ​​tenderloin" and the "chef's dessert" were beautifully presented. Really nice experience with this restaurant. Very tasty food, nice staff. The owner regularly comes to show his face. The food was phenomenal. We had scallops as a starter, red bass and lamb chops as main course. The desserts were great too. We received various wines with our dishes. We also really liked these! In total we spent €178.30, which is a bit on the high side. But we did get an exceptionally delicious dinner!
