A fantastic restaurant with delicious lunch and dinner dishes. They also have delicious iced coffees! It's great that you can eat here if you're staying at Europarcs. The owner is incredibly friendly, and I really don't understand some of the reviews. We ate here several times and it was delicious! There's also a snack bar at the back of the same park, which is also highly recommended!

We arrived late but received a warm welcome. Food is very good and fast, service very personal which is hard to find nowadays!

I highly recommend the shrimp appetizer and salmon dish. The staff is friendly and atmosphere very laid back. If you have kids, they can play on the little playset right outside while you wait for food or after eating. We found this to be a bonus feature. Recommend.

A fantastic restaurant. They even offer gluten-free pasta and pizza. The food was delicious. The service was very friendly and attentive.

Found via a Google Maps search for an Italian on the way to the Port in Amsterdam. Sophia's had just opened for the day so we were the first to dine. We all opted for pizzas which were freshly made and quite quick to arrive. Location is peaceful and beside a canal, with outdoor seating. Our son enjoyed watching the arriving aircraft for Schiphol flying by too. Recommended.

We drove here spontaneously because of a highway traffic jam and were absolutely thrilled. Unfortunately, we had to reorder one pizza because it was burnt, but the second one was excellent and the service was very friendly. The burrata was the best we've ever had, the pasta was also amazing, and I personally highly recommend the kip sate. All in all, a top-notch restaurant!

Closed on Tuesday, it says on the website, when I cycled past on Tuesday evening it seemed to be open, at least the doors of the restaurant were not closed and were open. No terrace visitors

The restaurant is very nice, near a body of water, relaxing environment. The food is decent but the service was really inadequate. The waiter (it seemed to us that he was alone) was really in a panic 😵‍💫

Pasta and burger were good, but the pizza was awful. Service was great once it started; we sat for 10 minutes before being offered any (and no menus). The setting is lovely and a real missed opportunity. Pizza looked like a reheated frozen one. Need to get the basics right including sitting people down, offering a menu and taking an order.

Yesterday we celebrated our daughter Sophia's birthday at Sophia's restaurant, with eight people. How fitting that the restaurant bears the same name as our daughter! The evening was wonderful and unforgettable, thanks in part to the attentive staff and the beautiful location. Upon arrival, our daughter was pleasantly surprised with a card and balloons. A special thank you to owner Peter and the staff for their helpfulness and friendliness. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was very welcoming. The location of Sophia's is perfect, with a playground next to the restaurant where the children could play. This also made it very relaxing for us as parents. As for the food, the pizzas and Italian entrees were delicious. Everyone at the table was enthusiastic about the taste and quality of the food. In short, it was a great party and we would absolutely recommend Sophia's to everyone. We will undoubtedly come back again. Thanks again to the entire team at Sophia's for the fantastic evening!

Food is ok. From 8.30 p.m. there is a reduced menu, on which some dishes were not available. Also on the second evening, dishes were removed from the menu because all of the ingredients were not available. Waited 30 minutes for a drink to be ordered. The store wasn't really full.

Waitress was super unwilling..We sit outside after 15minutes nobody come to ask us what we want we must go inside and aks for a beer than after few beers i ask for a pizza take away she send me to another counter in the back…i go there wait for 15minutes 3guys walk past me and nobody ask me anything so i walk away.BIG MINUS FROM ME owner must be happy with that…

Friendly staff who are happy to serve you as best as possible. Allergens were taken into account by making adjustments in a dish. Pizza and pasta could also be eaten for lunch. The food was delicious.

Sometimes me and my boyfriend go there for lunch/dinner. I like their pasta a lot and my bf is a fan of their spare ribs 😊 I need to mention that the service is prompt and friendly. Important info: they are closed on Tuesdays. I've already submitted this info to Google Maps, it should be updated.

It was a very bad experience, The tomato soup tasted like it was over heated in the microwave, the burger was under cooked and the ban was burned, the pasta had no taste. And frozen pizza served. Service was very slow . Sorry but we will never return.

On the way to Amsterdam we were looking for a good Italian restaurant. We had an extremely good coffee in a very nice atmosphere with very nice and competent service! The food was also really, really good, from the starter to the main course. I would come back every time I'm in the area and would recommend it to anyone!

Unfortunately you can't give more than 5 stars. We were looking for a good Italian restaurant near Amsterdam and were very happy with our choice. The food, the ambience and the service were very good! Courteous and friendly, an old school restaurant! We would come back again and again on vacation! Thank you!

We were served in an extremely friendly and attentive manner. The ambience was stylishly Italian - not kitschy, the music was authentic accompaniment. The four of us were all thrilled with the food, and we were blown away by the salad. All in all, absolutely recommended!

Nice friendly service! A relief in these times. Croquettes were effective, but without fuss. During my last visit, they forgot that I had ordered apple pie, but they were forgiven. To forget is human. Friendliness and a sense of welcome are paramount here!

Nice place, but if you are Italian I advise against eating pizza, unfortunately it was the only thing at an acceptable price and we let ourselves be convinced by the place, really nice... one of the worst pizzas I've ever eaten. My husband had the pasta at ragù and it was definitely better

Wij hebben alleen wat gedronken. Het terras ligt gezellig aan het water. De man die ons geholpen heeft spreekt engels is heel vriendelijk en werkt hard. Ik denk dat het wel wat druk was voor één persoon.

Great Restaurant to finish off a vacation day without going too far, coming with little playground onside. Host Peter & his team really made us feel very welcome and also accommodated all our special requests for small guests.

Quite average food and service.

We had to wait more than one hour from arriving until food was served. We ordered a sharing plate (two people). The plate was not very sharable. Tomato soup in a small glass, one frikadel a toast and some fries. The waiter was not directly rude, but not friendly either. It seemed like he had a bad day and we were in his way. The food was OK, a little expensive. The location is beautiful with stunning surroundings and a rustic feel! Did not feel safe with small children and no fence to protect from falling into the river.

Heerlijk gegeten en gezeten op het terras! Zeer prettige bediening. Alles tip top in orde. We hebben het fijn gehad.

Very tasty food, but we had to wait 55-60 min to get our lunch since the moment we sat at the table and it was not even a busy day. There were just few tables on the terrace. That's a shame because the food was really nice.

Bij binnenkomst keek de meneer ons al weg, en iedereen van het gezelschap vond dat al een rare actie. Leuke uitziende tent, De thee was heel leuk opgediend. De bitterballen waren iets met meel, maar een bitterbal was het niet. Daarna wilden we intercollegiaal iets oppakken en werden we weggestuurd want het eten begon zo (in een zo goed als lege tent) Voor ons geen terug komer. Toch jammer aangezien een kopje thee na een wandeling in het bos best leuk kan zijn. Iig is deze man/gastheer niet horeco geschikt.

Tried to get coffee at 11.30am Coffee was good, but no sweets!

Wat een ontzettend aardig personeel, oprecht blij dat je komt eten. De vis was prima, de zelfgebakken citroentaart van de baas hartstikke lekker. De sfeer is een beetje kantine-achtig, maar dat past wel bij ern vakantiepark in de winter.

Gezellige ruimte, goede en gastvrije bediening. Je voelt je er op je gemak. Lekker gegeten. Top!

Wir haben essen zum mitnehmen bestellt es war sehr lecker, aber es war sehr teuer. Eine Lasagne die keine Mahlzeit war hatte 16 Euro gekostet. Es gab eine Speisekarte aber dort standen keine Preise drauf. Dannach wussten wir wieso.

Goed en vers , lekker gegeten. Alleen jammer, dat ook dit restaurant voor toetjes slagroom uit de de spuitbus gebruikt. Bediening is vriendelijk.
