I dined here with family a while ago, and it was very good. I was looking for information about whether the dog is allowed inside. Other reviews say he's welcome on the patio, but after emailing, I learned he's not allowed inside. Hence this review. Dogs are not allowed inside.

I stumbled upon this place by chance during a midweek getaway (triggered by the atmosphere as I drove past) and after some online research (read: looking at the menu), we made a reservation for dinner for four people (two adults, two teenagers). The starters were beautifully presented and presented, and the main courses were also perfectly portioned. If I had to mention a minor complaint, the pizza I had (diavola) was a bit less spicy than expected, but otherwise delicious! Finally, we were treated to some delicious desserts; all in all, a wonderful meal. Highly recommended!

We had dinner with four people today. One of us had a tenderloin skewer and the other a mixed grill. The little one had a pizza and the last one a hamburger. We also had appetizers, which were good, by the way. The meat, however, was really poorly cooked, everything was thoroughly overcooked. We reported it to the staff, and they said, "This is how we do it" and simply walked away. After dinner, the girl who had been helping us all evening came back (she didn't ask how it was during the meal). While clearing the table, she asked if it was good. Well, no, so she wanted to have new food made, which we found odd because that's how you prepare it. She came up with a solution: a cup of coffee. Two of us didn't eat anything, just fries and an appetizer! We were really disappointed when we left your lovely restaurant. It was supposed to be a party for Grandma's birthday.

The food was disappointing. I find bean sprouts in risotto odd, and I also don't like the taste of too many carrots and cherry tomatoes. The risotto tasted greasy. Bottles were being cleaned near us? Which caused a certain smell to waft towards us, which wasn't very pleasant.

What a lovely, cozy restaurant! We had a delicious meal. Salmon fillet on a bed of pasta and beef teriyaki with mixed salad and fries. And a delicious dessert: tiramisu with cream. Last week, six of us, by special request, enjoyed a High Wine. We were able to choose four wines from ALL the menu, along with a generous selection of hot and cold appetizers for an excellent price per person. We had a wonderful time under the awning, with excellent and fast service. In short: highly recommended!

The food was delicious, but unfortunately not great. Our underage daughters ordered a Liefmans 0.0, but they got it with alcohol. We all ordered dessert, but we didn't get our fourth until everyone else had finished theirs. And then we got the bill for another table.

After people we know had eaten here several times, we decided to join them. Six of us dined at Da Vinci on a Thursday evening, outside on the covered terrace. It wasn't crowded, either inside or outside, so we didn't expect to wait long. The service is incredibly slow and takes ages. Even just ordering drinks can easily take 20 minutes. Eating out with someone with ABI takes a really long time. The menu is vast. If they halved the selection, it would probably improve the speed. The food is good, with overly large portions (even the staff agrees), but not particularly special. Because we had been waiting ages for our appetizer and main course, after ordering dessert, we asked where it was. When it finally arrived, we saw that the ice cream was already melting. So, unfortunately, the logistics between the kitchen and the service were a bit poor. Conclusion: not a bad meal, but it's not on our list of places to visit again.

Bad service; after waiting for 1 hour we asked if they had forgotten us, it turned out that the receipt had not been passed on to the kitchen but that they were now working on it....seriously?? The terrace was not even a quarter full but the employees could clearly not handle it. Too bad because the place itself is very atmospheric and the food itself was fine.

Focasia delicious, pizza fine, lasagna burnt at the bottom and sides. It started to taste more and more bitter. Reported twice, response: fine, I'll pass it on to the kitchen. Vanuit landal twenhaarsveld besteld om te bezorgen. De bestelling kwam op tijd bij de slagboom. Heerlijke rijkgevulde pizza. Broodje hamburger was een grote baqet een hele hap! Helaas was de friet lauw. Tip voor de bezorger, neem een warmhoud tas mee.

De broodjes vooraf waren taai en met twee dips die uit een potje kwamen. Vervolgens hadden we een tagliatelle aglio olio peperoncini en een pizza tonno. Tagliatelle zaten harde stukjes tussen en hele gerecht was vlak van smaak. Voor de pizza geldt hetzelfde: smakeloos. Afrader dus

We had dinner there yesterday as a “finale” to our stay. First of all, it should be said that the location is super attractive and you can definitely sit outside in warmer temperatures. The service was very friendly. We each ate a starter (Focaccia e Crudo & Gamba al Ajillo). Both were really beautifully prepared and tasted super delicious! For the main course we had burgers with fries - the burgers were good and the portion was absolutely sufficient. Overall, we left the restaurant very full and satisfied.

Ze konden de drukte niet aan. Ik snap dat dingen langer kunnen duren als je personeelsgebrek hebt (dat neem ik aan), maar vijf kwartier wachten op 2 salades en een burger met wat frietjes, kan echt niet. De vegaburger was koud en de salades zagen eruit of ze al even hadden gestaan. Bovendien is een besteld drankje nooit gekomen. Betaald, geen fooi en wegwezen. Tip voor het restaurant: Doe geen papier meer onder die burger. Het ziet er leuk uit maar wordt een smeerboel.

We sat inside, but it also looked very cozy outside with a fire and blankets. Nicely decorated, smaller than expected but of course no problem. Easily helped there, pleasant, nice, spontaneous young lady (who unfortunately left early and another young lady came) The starter took quite a while to be served. Main course delivered on time. Fortunately, there is no constant nagging about whether everything is OK and whether you want something to drink. Food is just good, not special, but just good and tasty. A cloth was missing to clean your hands (ribs & wings). After asking, they were told that they were available in a pot near the door. I responded again that it would be nice to just give these wipes as standard, because who knows that they are left at the door and you have to pick them up yourself. They were going to do something with that. Regarding the service, the service is top notch, no complaints. But reserved online (same evening). Of course you indicate that, the response was that they did not know because they do not check all day to see if there are reservations. Do not offer it or indicate that it is not possible to make a reservation for the same online and that you must call. What if it had been full? And so we had made a reservation. Are we going again? I'm sure, but on the terrace in the summer, which looks really cozy and nice.

Voor de eerste keer hier gegeten. Zelf de risotto met zalm gekozen. Ik vond het heel lekker en de portie was groot genoeg. Prima prijs van €19.50. De bediening was erg vriendelijk, maar de communicatie vond ik wat vreemd. We zaten naast de keuken en ik kon ze horen ‘roddelen’ over de klanten. Ik dacht dat ze ook over ons praatten maar dat weet ik niet meer zeker. Voor het toetje namen we samen een grand dessert. Deze was heel erg teleurstellend. €13,50 keer twee. Je verwacht allerlei kleine toetjes van alle toetjes die ze op de kaart hebben staan maar het waren een paar toetjes in groot formaat met wat slagroom toefjes en blauwe bessen op de plank gekwakt. Als het nou €13,50 was, oké, maar €27,- voor dit toetje is echt heel ernstig. Wij zullen niet snel nog een keer terug komen.

Yesterday we stopped by for dinner after a bike ride. Sandwiches in advance and a very nice fresh beer. We ordered the gamberetti and a calzone. Very smooth service, but my gamberetti had green peppers on it, it wasn't listed in the ingredients, I tried it but didn't like it, too spicy. Luckily there was beer. I removed the peppers, otherwise super tasty. Pleasant.

The truly great variety of dishes is sure to give you taste you deserve. Prices are fine and the portions large. Better too much than too little! The restaurant staff tends to be rather young and perhaps seems inexperienced at times, but are kind and willing to help nonetheless.

I previously posted a review about this restaurant that was not too positive about the quality and taste of the food. Because I also live in Holten and the choice of restaurants here is not overwhelming, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and afterwards I went more often and my opinion started to turn towards the positive...... until this afternoon... We sat down on the terrace around 4 o'clock with the idea of ​​first having a drink and then something to eat. After the second drink we received the menu and calmly made a choice. Please note: we were still the only guests. The choice was passed around half past four and while enjoying another drink, more and more guests trickled into the restaurant. Anyway, when after an hour and a half all the guests who came in after us already had food on their tables (including the same dishes that we had ordered) and we still had nothing, we decided to pay. When we arrived at the checkout, we were asked if everything had been satisfactory. Of course we replied that that was not exactly the case, because we had not had the food. Then the girl made the mistake of asking her colleague if it was true that we had not had any food, while we were standing next to it. Indirectly she was checking whether we were not lying to everything... To the affirmative answer, the answer was simply: "Then we will take the food off the bill and you only have to pay for the drinks". To my answer that unfortunately we did not agree to this, the responsibility passed from waitress to waitress to manager. Apparently he was too busy with other things and literally shouted at us through some piles of plates that we didn't have to pay anything this time. In short: it is fair that we did not have to pay anything, but the way of communicating leaves a lot to be desired. "The receipt was stuck" is not an excuse. We were the first guests of the evening and we were regularly provided with new drinks so it wasn't that we didn't stand out, but that not a single waitress noticed that the people who had been there the longest were the only ones without food. This is still a major mistake in the internal training and the fact that the manager cannot take the time to personally resolve the issue is also a missed opportunity. Speaking of opportunities: the chance that we will come back for something to eat in the short term has become very small. Edit in response to the owner's response to this review. It is a pity that an offer is only made to look for a suitable solution when a negative review is written and not on the spot when the complaint is made known. There was indeed contact via email, but the solution offered was of such a level that I did not get the idea that they really wanted to solve the problem.

I had a Carpaccio as a main course because I had just finished a large ice cream at the end of the afternoon. Da Vinci's menu is very extensive: fish, meat, but also pasta, pizzas and burgers. Also various risottos and salads. Normally that is not a good sign when the menu in a restaurant is so extensive, but the dishes all tasted good and looked good too. The pizza on the neighbors table also smelled delicious, I almost regretted my own choice. It's a shame that we are going home again (from a weekend away) otherwise we would definitely have eaten there again! Legend: 1) Terrible! I don't recommend it, I will never come back! 2) Too bad, below my expectations, I won't come again. 3) Ok, nothing wrong with that, but nothing special, nice for once. 4) Fine, worth coming back. 5) Excellent! Good food and on a road where many motorbikes pass by, which is fun to watch. Lots of variety when it comes to choosing what you want to eat. The price was also pretty good for what you get! The people seemed pretty friendly too. I asked for just a glass of water and they said that wasn't possible so instead I had to pay 3 euros for a small glass that tasted exactly like tap water. That was quite disappointing. It shouldn't be a problem to fill a glass with tap water for me, but okay. I also ordered pulled chicken nachos WITHOUT beans, because I don't like those. I was given a plate with it, and I ate it anyway, because I'm not that difficult, but then 5 minutes later they arrived with another plate without it. We were asked if we still wanted it, which I thought was a bit strange. The food was still tasty!

Eerder heb ik al eens een review over dit restaurant geplaatst die niet al te positief was over de kwaliteit en de smaak van het eten. Omdat ik ook in Holten woon en de keus in restaurants hier niet overweldigend is heb ik ze het voordeel van de twijfel gegeven en ben nadien wat vaker geweest en mijn mening begon juist in de richting van het positieve te draaien...... tot vanmiddag... Tegen een uur of 4 daar op het terras gaan zitten met het idee eerst wat te drinken en daarna wat te eten. Na het tweede drankje de menukaart gekregen en rustig een keuze gemaakt. Let wel: wij waren nog steeds de enige gasten. Rond half 5 de keuze doorgegeven en onder het genot van nog een drankje kwamen steeds meer gasten het restaurant binnen druppelen. Enfin, toen na anderhalf uur alle gasten die na ons binnen kwamen al eten op hun tafel hadden staan en wij nog steed niets, besloten we maar te gaan betalen. Bij de kassa aangekomen kregen we de vraag of alles naar wens was geweest. Uiteraard gaven we als antwoord dat dat niet bepaald het geval was, omdat we het eten niet hadden gehad. Vervolgens maakte het meisje de fout door te vragen aan haar collega of het waar was dat we geen eten hadden gehad, terwijl wij er notabene naast staan. Indirect was ze dus aan het controleren of we de boel niet voor zaten te liegen..... Op het bevestigende antwoord was doodleuk het antwoord: "Dan halen we het eten van de rekening af en hoeft u alleen het drinken te betalen". Op mijn antwoord dat we daar helaas niet mee akkoord gingen, ging de verantwoording van serveerster naar serveerster naar leidingevende. Die was schijnbaar te druk met andere dingen en riep ons letterlijk tussen wat stapels borden door dat we voor deze keer niets hoefden te betalen. Kortom: dat we niets hoefden te betalen is billijk, maar de manier van communiceren laat veel te wensen over. "Het bonnetje was blijven hangen" is geen excuus. We waren de eerste gasten van de avond en we werden regelmatig voorzien van nieuwe drankjes dus het was niet zo dat we niet opvielen, maar dat het geen enkele serveerster was opgevallen dat de mensen die er het langst zaten de enigen waren die geen eten hadden is toch een grote fout in de interne opleiding en dat de leidinggevende niet even de tijd kan vrijmaken om persoonlijk de kwestie te komen oplossen is ook een gemiste kans. Over kansen gesproken: de kans dat wij op korte termijn terug komen om eens wat te eten, is wel erg klein geworden.

De bediening was niet erg vriendelijk en het wachten op de bediening en daarna op het eten duurde lang. Wij hadden een kipsate , die smaakte heerlijk. Gezellige zit binnen of buiten

Last Tuesday, June 25, I ordered 3 pizzas in advance by telephone. I told the operator a pizza pulled chicken, Americano, calzone, but I was mistaken because I meant a carpaccio, she said just to be clear, so the calzone can be removed from the order? Yes, I said...I arrived to pick up my order and already got an annoyed look because it was too early. Ultimately I got my order and found out that it was a calzone, a pulled chicken and a carpaccio. A strange mistake but also paid too much for the pizzas, I was told that it would take too long to get the order correct and I did not get any money back, very ridiculous, I will never go there again

Ordered at half past six, the food would arrive at half past seven. Then called at 7:15 PM because there was still no food. At first there was no recording. So I called again ten minutes later. They will then record and indicate that the order has not been received. While we have received confirmation of this. The young lady then asks if we want to order again, without indicating how to do so, since we have already paid €45 and do not want to do that again. Then she wants to call back later to solve it. Subsequently We haven't received a call after 15 minutes... Meanwhile, 20 minutes later and still no call back. Really scandalous.. Lost money and no response. Really worthless, which is a shame because I think it is a great place in terms of food... I'm curious how they plan to resolve this... If it will be resolved at all. UPDATE: Food was reimbursed with a dinner voucher and delivered (more than 2 hours later). The second lady on the phone was very polite and resolved the matter as best as possible

Deze plek was helemaal niet geweldig, gereserveerd voor de verjaardag van mij vrouw.Maar dan verbrandde pizza's geserveerd krijgen is dan wel een enorme tegenvaller! Aanbod om dan naar nieuwe pizza's te gaan maken, vind ik slap. Voor het ongemak zou je op z' n minst een compensatie/tegemoetkoming aan moeten bieden vind ik. Niks ten nadele van de bediening overigens; die werken ook maar in opdracht van.. Drankjes en voorgerecht netjes betaald, maar dit was wat mij betreft de eerste, maar zeker de laatste keer dat ik bij Da Vinci ben geweest!,

The offer was to make new pizzas, but in my opinion it would be better to apologize at such a time and then give some kind of discount. But in the end I paid for drinks and a starter, the evening was ruined, and as far as I was concerned this was the first and last time Da Vinci.

We have reserved a table for a birthday. We were given a very small table that barely fit 3 plates. What fit on it was also badly burned in the end. These 3 pizzas (which were very burnt) also had ingredients on them that were not listed on the menu. Furthermore, it was very busy and we had to wait an hour for our food, which is certainly not recommended.

Good food. Generous portions. Beautiful ambiance especially outside. Friendly service.

We kregen een hoge tafel weg gestopt in een hoek. Mensen moesten opstaan zodat we er langskomen. Tafel is zo klein dat twee gerechten er amper samen kunnen staan. De pizza met spek was slecht, alsof pannetje met spekblokjes, incl. bakvet was uitgestort over de pizza. Vet droop van de pizza af.

That was real old-fashioned enjoyment, delicious food 💪

We had never been here before, but what a nice tent. Ate with 4 people. Atmosphere is nice and cozy. The food was delicious and the young lady serving was great.
