Kansloos met een Hoofdletter. Bediening chagrijnig en de presentatie van het eten is echt een lachertje,de souvide gegaarde tournedos heeft geen pan gezien,een gekookt stukje vlees met een schijfje ananas met champignonsroomsaus dat ook voor ragout kan doorgaan. Hoe verzin je het om rauwe bleekselderij,over de carpaccio heen te gooien. DRAMATISCH!

Beautiful bowling alleys. The food is very substandard. Pale schnitsel and dry pale pork tenderloin. The service is also not very good.

Pretty quiet for a Saturday afternoon.

Four of us arrived on Friday August 9, 2024 and we were kindly welcomed. We ordered something to drink. A little later, after taking a long time to decide, we took the next meal. - Baguette, herb butter and garlic sauce - Salmon fillet - Pork tenderloin 275 grams (stuffed with brie and bacon) - Pork tenderloin 275 grams with gypsy sauce - Pork tenderloin 275 grams with mushroom sauce The side dishes - Fries and fries - Beans with bacon - Cauliflower with white sauce - Applesauce - Cold salad For dessert - Banana split (unfortunately a hard, unripe banana) - Coffee with digestif. The next day (Saturday, August 10, 2024) we went again and took: - Baguette, herb butter and garlic sauce - Salmon fillet - Mixed Grill with pepper sauce - Mixed Grill with mushroom sauce - Mixed Grill with gypsy sauce The side dishes - Fries and fries - Carrots - Cauliflower with white sauce - Applesauce - Cold salad For dessert - Coupe Adokaat - Coffee with digestif. Conclusion, definitely worth coming to eat here. It's nice to share the side dishes with the rest at the table.

Volgende dag (zaterdag 10 augustus 2024) zijn we weer geweest en namen we: - Stokbrood, kruidenboter en knoflooksaus - Zalmfilet - Mixed Grill met pepersaus - Mixed Grill met champignonsaus - Mixed Grill met zigeunersaus De bijgerechten - Frietjes en Patatjes - Worteltjes - Bloemkool met witte saus - Appelmoes - Koud slaatje Als dessert - Coupe Adokaat - Koffie met digestief. Besluit, zeker de moeite waard om hier te komen eten. Wat leuk is om de bijgerechten te delen met de rest aan tafel.

Extremely friendly staff. Have been coming there for years

After reading the reviews about angry owners, I was prepared for the worst 🤣 I experienced the opposite. I had a good laugh with them, very friendly, fast service and very kind to the children. At the end they were even allowed to take a toy from the owner's toy box! They were very happy with it. The food was great, portions are large and the price was absolutely fine. If you are in the area with children, I recommend eating here at least once!

Delicious food! There were 4 of us, no problem without reservation. We were warmly welcomed and shown to a nice table. It really seems like a family business. Pleasant people in the service, up for a chat and they take the time for you. While mom and dad could enjoy a cold drink on the terrace, the children can play in the large playground. There is plenty for them to do. Food is very tasty and well prepared. The standard side dishes are also delicious. A really great restaurant for a nice meal.

Been twice now during our holiday. The staff was very surly, but the second time was really bad and we walked away. The young staff were very friendly, but the old permanent lady certainly was not. The food was fine the first time. At the 12 o'clock we had a slice of bread that you could top with anything. Pieces of fruit and 2 salads. Homely atmosphere on your plate, which saves you washing up. We found the baby/toddler playground next to the terrace ideal. A low device ideal for our small kids aged 1 and 3. The large playground next to it was not suitable. The floor and most appliances are from old times. A kind of large jerry cans with artificial grass and sand placed on them, children fall softly, but the floor is broken in several places. A forest playground with lots of sand, moss, grass, needles and pine cones. In my opinion, the devices such as the rocker at the front need to be replaced. Your child would just get his feet under it. Definitely not suitable for smaller children. The newer devices in the back are fine. All in all, I expected a bit more and it was quite disappointing. If you know of another place in the area with a fun play piece for the children and friendlier staff, please comment below. We will no longer come to 't Witte Hoes during our holidays.

Great excursion restaurant with a beautiful adjacent playground. The food was delicious and the portions were large. A visit is recommended.

Inderdaad wat een ongezellige, trage bediening. Mevrouw zuchtte en rolde met haar ogen. We voelden ons totaal niet welkom. Eten wel heel goed, ook al was het lang wachten.

After a game of mini golf with the kids, we had a nice lunch and something to drink on the terrace. In between, the children enjoyed themselves in the large playground. Friendly welcome and nice to the children. The gift you chose yourself after lunch made the party complete!

enjoyed an excellent buffet in a relaxed atmosphere with a group of 40 people, from young to old. Enjoy a nice hour of bowling to break. Nice staff. Recommended!

For decades it has been a place to eat well, play mini golf or go bowling, and a beautiful playground for children. Service is just impersonal and not friendly

We received a very friendly welcome and were escorted to our reserved table. The food was extremely tasty, a pleasure. We ate spare ribs and they were great, as were the many side dishes. A very, very great restaurant with friendly, helpful staff! Excellent! Thank you very much for the delicious food and the friendly hospitality. We'd love to come back! 🥰

Called first. The answer was to be full. 7pm . Went anyway at 7:45 PM. They were cleaning up the kitchen. Were taken to a table and could choose from a limited menu. 1 waitress was very friendly. But the room where we were sitting was also used to play Klaverjas for seniors. The actual restaurant was already closed. Eating opposite the entrance to the toilets and bowling alleys is not really what we expected. Food was tasty and certainly enough. But the atmosphere was not. Too bad, very sad

Nice restaurant with Dutch dishes in the broadest sense. The quality of the food is excellent, but the quantity can be improved due to the price. This does not apply to the side dishes of vegetables and potatoes and fries. That's the ratio balanced. The fried potatoes are absolutely world class.

Delicious food. Because I had ordered vegetarian and noticed that there was bacon on the green beans, the waitress said that they always served two types of vegetables... Then I still received a bowl of carrots.

Well-filled plates of food. Service left much to be desired when a bus full of diners arrived. There was no longer service on the terrace and we had to walk to the bar to order and pay. Nice location with playground, but on a busy highway.

Went here for bowling. Bowling was fun, the service there was great by an employee. However, the owner had no desire to help or provide service. That's why I didn't drink or eat anything anymore.

Very good shop for buying a bowling ball and having it drilled to size by an employee who also explains everything. Also cleaning agents for the ball and much more.

Made a stop for a round of mini golf and playground. Friendly people and a great job. Fairly average but well maintained.

Went here with a group to go bowling and have dinner afterwards. The bowling alleys are well maintained. We arrived early and mentioned to staff that two people of our group were still on the way and would join us a little later. We mutually agreed on already fitting the shoes and then waiting for them to arrive so we could start the game together. The lady already opened the bowling alley while doing that and with that started the 1 hour clock. When the other two arrived about 15 minutes later, exactly at the time we reserved the bowling alley, we started playing the game. When we found out after 45 minutes that the lane closed already, I explained the situation to staff and asked to add extra time. I got a very unpleasant weird response from the gentleman on this request that I wasn't telling the truth. Spoiled the atmosphere and until then good impression of this place. In the end after being persistent, he did add 10 minutes extra to our time. Would and definitely should not have been necessary to reply like that. It doesn't cost you a single thing to do so and no lanes were reserved anyway. Food was only an okay. Not bad, but also nothing special. Fries even had a blunt taste to them. Menu is really odd looking. Just one sheet of paper of which the text falls off of the printed area. Not sure if that's intentional or what but looks sloppy either way. There are many better places around in the area. Won't return myself.

Eten was goed. Bediening was slecht. Als gastvrouw moet je niet in een legging lopen met een sweater. Zorg voor eenheid. Oude man was er chagrijnig en ander personeel/ eigenaren ook

Incredibly grumpy owner. Bad food. Carpaccio had a bad color. Burnt toast. And the owner can't help but smile. Young ladies on staff are pleasant. But what a bad tent. Appearance of a retirement home.

Bowling, darts or pool billiards. You can also play pinball, nice tent.

We did not feel welcome, more of a nuisance. Hot ham sandwich, was a sandwich with warm slices of regular ham. Visit not worth repeating. Substandard on all fronts, comparable to the weak, watery foam on the served cappucino.

Great restaurant, you can enjoy delicious food here in a relaxed atmosphere. Don't expect haute cuisine, just well-prepared and tasty dishes. The nice thing is that they also have senior portions for those who are less hungry. Price/quality ratio is excellent. Service is very friendly and attentive. Tip: at Christmas you can order and pick up very tasty salads or a tapas dish.

The first time we entered the parking lot with our family and there was no one standing next to us, then we came in and there was a man sitting at the table, no one behind the bar so we didn't know where to go but the man at the table said: “ just sit there" finally the waiter was a man who didn't know what the intention was because 2 of us were going to the toilet then the man got an error and he said: "okay then I'll come back later because this doesn't work everyone has left again” when my family members left the toilet we left A SHAME OF SERVICE A ROCKY ATMOSPHERE DON'T COME HERE!!!

We haven't even been in for five minutes. We were received so unfriendly and inhospitable that we left. The waiter's attitude was simply hostile. I know what the food is like, but you don't have to come for the atmosphere.

We had lunch here with 16 people, everything was great and really great value for money. Nice service and friendly. It's good!!!

Het is dat we weten dat er hier goed eten is, maar voor de service en de vriendelijkheid van het personeel maar vooral de eigenaresses hoef je hier niet te komen. Zeer onvriendelijk. Erg negatief. Ze werken blijkbaar graag met een grauw en een snauw. Dus daar blijven we graag voor weg. Ik denk dat ze het moeten hebben van de toeristen want als ik hier in de buurt had gewoon was ik wel naar een ander restaurant gegaan. Wij stonden zelf op de camperplaats Midas

Laten we beginnen met het eten; dit was erg goed. Complimenten voor het personeel en de kok. Waar ik geen complimenten voor heb is de eigenaresse. De onvriendelijkheid straalt er van af. Bij binnenkomst (er waren nog geen gasten) begon het al. Op onze vraag of ze al open waren snauwde ze: "Wat denk je zelf? De deur is toch open!" We wilden eigenlijk meteen rechtsomkeert maken, want we voelden ons niet bijzonder welkom. Toch besloten we om een tafel uit te zoeken, misschien hadden we de opmerking verkeerd opgevat Toen we eten uitgezocht hadden en aan haar vroegen of we mochten bestellen kregen we alleen een kwade blik en geen reactie. Gelukkig kwam later een vriendelijke medewerker die ons verder hielp. Even later werd door de eigenaresse een medewerker enorm afgesnauwd in het bijzijn van alle gasten, echt onacceptabel. Zo ga je toch niet met je medewerkers en gasten om? Hopelijk is dit niet de dagelijkse gang van zaken, want dan lopen medewerkers en klanten weg. Heel jammer want het eten was erg lekker.

Ondanks dat er een touringcar in aantocht was en we niet gereserveerd hadden konden we toch terecht. En perfect behandeld.

Wir haben dort wirklich lecker gegessen, sind sehr nett bedient worden und haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt..sehr schönes Ambiente..wir kommen gerne wieder..

We hadden een fijn familiefeest met bowlen en warm/koud buffet. Het was heerlijk. Een sterretje minder voor de sfeer, het gebouw wordt oud...

Wat een heerlijke plek, wij zijn hier 1x geweest voor dinner en 1x lunch beide gewoon top. Personeel zeer vriendelijk en ook klaar voor een praatje. Zelfs onze hondjes waren zeer welkom.

We hebben met z’n vieren een ontzettend gezellige avond gehad. Niet alleen door de kwaliteit van het eten, maar ook de bediening was top. Een gezellige leuke vond moet je met elkaar doen. Daar moeten wij als klanten ook een bijdrage aan leveren. Het tijdperk dat ons alles in ons leven op een dienblad werd aangeboden is allang voorbij en is onrealistisch. Wij hebben genoten en komen zeker terug.

Met een groep ouderen daar wezen eten, en dat was heerlijk, menu was van te voren samengesteld. Je kon kiezen uit heerlijke 2 soorten soep(mosterd en tomaten), 2 soorten vlees(varkenshaasje en satespiesje) met daarbij verschillende groentes en rauwkost en als desert diverse baverois met slagroom :) heerlijk. Een nieuw eet adresje erbij ;)

Great place to be, large menu, reasonable pricing.

Fijne ervaring, lekker eten en vriendelijke bediening. Bij de hoofdgerechten 2 soorten groenten en zowel gebakken aardappels als frietjes deze kunnen nog aangevuld worden. Heerlijk buiten op het terras ondanks dat het aan een doorgaande weg ligt stoorde dut niet. Voor kinderen een grote speeltuin. Wij komen zeker nog terug... Voor de eigenaars veel plezier bij shrek in Antwerpen mochten jullie gaan 😁

Ongeïnteresseerde, chagrijnige bediening. Lunch was niet bijzonder, bijv. De warme beenham was lauw en de champignon soep was smakeloos. Dit was de laatste keer dat we hiernaar toe gaan.

Koffie met hazelnoot-schuimtaart😋 Mooie plek, vriendelijke bediening. Na het klootschieten ook heerlijk diner gegeten. Aanrader! Ook mooie startpunt voor fietsen en/of wandelen.

De bediening was vreselijk, kon geen lachje af....eten was gebakken beenham en veel te vet. De sla was verlept. Ik kom hier niet weer en raad het iedereen af. Jammer....de plek was prachtig

Dramatisch slechte en onbehoorlijke bediening, iedereen is chagrijnig, de sfeer een gemiddeld uitvaart centrum is nog beter. Toen we voor de tweede keer een drankje wilde bestellen werd op luide toon aangegeven dat wel alles tegelijk moest worden opgegeven omdat hij geen zin had om twee keer te lopen…. Mijn advies: snel voorbij rijden…

Top service! Goed eten & gezellig personeel je voelt je daar gezien, personeel maakt tijd voor een praatje. Bord is goed gevuld en vragen ook tussen door of we genoeg hadden of nog iets wouden heel netjes. Na het eten wezen bowlen, bowling zag er goed verzorgd uit. Personeel zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. T Witte hoes is echt een aanrader!

Sehr nettes Personal. Tolles Essen. Waren heute zum 2. Mal dort und sind in KEINSTER Weise enttäuscht worden. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Geweldig eten. Waren er vandaag voor de tweede keer en werden op geen enkele manier teleurgesteld. We komen graag terug.

We zijn super geholpen bij de bowling

Lekker gegeten. Goede bediening, desondanks ze last hadden van de warmte. Gezellig om te zitten. Speeltuin voor de kids. Aanrader dus.

Prima eten voor een Prima prijs.

De bediening is bijzonder stug. Elke vorm van kritiek wordt gezien als een aanval en ronduit onvriendelijk beantwoord. "als hef je niet bevalt ga je maar weg". Misschien alleen een issue als je geen local bent. Jammer met zo veel potentieel.

Ik had 2 kroketten met friet, maar de kroketten waren eigenlijk te lang gebakken. Ondanks dat het zaterdag en pas 12 uur was, was het toch redelijk druk. Hierdoor duurde de service ook wat langer dan normaal. Maar het blijft een mooie omgeving en een prima plek om even bij te komen tijdens een wandeling. Overigens vind ik de prijs heel schappelijk. Zeker in verhouding tot terassen in de randstad.

Ruim een uur op het eten moeten wachten. Schnitzels waren taai en niet knapperig. Volgende keer toch maar ergens anders heen.

Hier ist besonders am Wochenende schon richtig etwas los. Bowling, Minigolf, Essen, Trinken etc Preislich...nicht ganz günstig aber für einen tollen Tag, durchaus auch mal machbar
