Da Xin in Wijk 52 Kern Emmen Zuid

It seems that something has changed in the babi pangang recipe recently. The sauce now tastes very much like barbecue sauce. Very strange, because previously the babi pangang from the Daxin was the best in Emmen. It is not a one-off occurrence, as we have had this three times in a row now and my brother has noticed it too. Very unfortunate.

What a lovely Chinese restaurant. Tonight, we ordered a Chinese rijsttafel for 2 people for the first time. We ate from it with 4 adults and still had leftovers. The food was tasty, flavorful, and the meat was tender. We will be ordering from here more often!

The food portions were good, the meat tender and warm. However, the taste was poor. The chicken in rujak sauce tasted like peanut sauce diluted with water, and the red sauce with the babi pangang was completely tasteless. In short, if you like getting a lot for a little, this is a fine place, but you don't need to come here for "food made to taste."

A delicious wonton soup, and the nasi, satay, and babi pangang were also very good. Top-notch, got takeout and ate it. Classy.

The food and atmosphere are much better than under the previous owners. The restaurant is now nice and warm, with clean new carpeting. The quality of the food has really improved. You can tell this owner doesn't go for the cheapest ingredients, but rather for quality, and as far as I'm concerned, that's worth a bit more. After all, quality always wins, and the service is also very friendly!

A menu with delicious dishes, Chinese or Indian. Takeaway, buffet, and à la carte options are available. Ms. Ping and her team are incredibly kind. Ms. Ping and her husband (the chef) are now retired. We do think the quality has unfortunately declined.

The food isn't what it used to be. And everything has gotten considerably more expensive. Babi pangang doesn't taste good. Pan sit now comes with chicken or shrimp instead of meat. We're going to look for another Chinese restaurant.

They also said Indonesian dishes should be mentioned on the website, which I was glad about. Asian restaurant, and they were playing old people's music, not anything local from China, Indonesia, Vietnam, or the like. It's just a shame to hear old people's music. Lots of dead flies on the window frames; you clean things like that when the windows are already dirty. If I had the previous information, we would have left the toilet. The men's washbasins at the tap were DIRTY! Moldy, which often happens in restaurants in damp rooms, but that's a lot! Who knows what the kitchen looks like?

Delicious food!! Tipan shrimp and tipan tenderloin, both black bean sauce and noodles...taste great!! Appetizer was also excellent..will come back soon!! Unfortunately, the quality has seriously diminished. I picked it up last week but the taste was terrible! I wanted to share this with the advice to the new owner to use the old recipe! It's a shame that such a "life's work" has deteriorated so much in just a few months!! So..: good luck!!

Ordered late in the evening, the tenderloin was tough, never experienced anything so bad, asked without mushrooms, they were just there. Not recommended!!

On the way through Emmen we ate here based on the reviews and the price-performance ratio (according to Google 10-20 €). Unfortunately, the prices do not correspond to the above information and are extremely expensive! The food itself was ok, rather average. The service was good.

Ate an old-fashioned Chinese rice table. It was our first time in Da Xin. The food was very well taken care of and the food was delicious. The Chinese waitress lady was very busy, but extremely friendly. We will definitely come again.

Very friendly staff. We were surprised that the portions were very large. But all dishes were very tasty. There are parking spaces available but not that many. You can also communicate as a German family.

After the takeover some time ago, things seem to have changed. The slice of ham under the egg of the noodles has already been cut away, as has the sauce with the mini spring rolls. The pansit goreng no longer contains meat and the sauce that comes with it has changed in taste, not in a positive way. When we picked up we had to help the counter staff with our order because there were no names on it, we don't mind this but it may be indicative of the changes.

Restaurant Da Xin is my favorite Chinese-Indian Restaurant when I visit family in Drenthe. It is a popular restaurant and their delicious dishes and rice tables are in great demand. In my case, we always order take-out, so I can't really judge the atmosphere in the restaurant. But the takeaway is perfect. If you call in your order, you will receive an estimated pick-up time and a customer number, so that you can be sure it is your order. Friendly, fast and fantastically tasty... Da Xin, you are the best of Drenthe, as far as I'm concerned...

Without exaggerating, the best Chinese restaurant in Emmen. New review. Even after the takeover by a new owner, Da Xin simply remained Da Xin. The same chefs as always, so the dishes have not changed... The friendliness of the service has not changed either... Enjoyed our favorite dish again today. We remain regular customers..

Babi pangang is no longer what it used to be, cowardly and dirty, fatty, tough meat, the meat ended up in the trash, I will not order this menu again, way too expensive for what you get

Never been so disappointed by chinese take away, sauces seemed watered down, the duck was soft, the rice overcooked and all in all it just seemed the food wasn't made fresh but had been standing around for a while. Cannot recommend.

Obtained well for the price. Disappointed with dough balls instead of meat balls, the same for the fried shrimp which were too crispy. Chicken with an aftertaste that went to the dog. In other words, don't come here again.

Very friendly and very good food. If we come from Germany there is no way around Da Xin. The prices are more than fair for the quality offered. The adjacent canal invites you to take a walk.

Friendly owner even got a snack (bitterbal) from her and even twice. Also friendly and fun to talk to. And I absolutely disagree with the few pubs that I read in some reviews. I ordered tjaptoy and a large bowl of rice with 1 draft beer in between, totaling 20.70 euros. And delicious, so highly recommended!! So more than enough because we even saved some. (Too good to throw away) With such sweet and thoughtful people with the slogan: act normal, we are acting strangely enough, I would like to come back but I am a holidaymaker (parc sandur) So in short: RECOMMENDED!!!

Vriendelijke mensen. We vinden het fijn en gezellig om hier te zitten. Qua eten kan het beter, maar alles bij elkaar zou ik hier wel terugkomen.

We kregen niet wat we besteld hadden. Hadden 3 soorten vlees besteld en voor betaald maar zat alleen maar varkensvlees in. Smaak van eten was ook flauw. Personeel wel aardig

Ik sta er een beetje van te kijken. Op de foto is wat je krijgt voor 60 euro. We denken de volgende keer wel even 2 keer na voor we weer bestellen. Erg jammer deze graai cultuur

Eten op zich was lekker maar het vlees was taai vooral van de satéstokjes, van de 6 heb ik er 4 weggegooid.

Vegetarische Tjap Tjoy met Chinese Champignons genomen + Bami. Voor mijzelf 4 stokjes kipsate erbij. Binnen 15 minuten klaar, bij thuiskomst kwam de warmte er nog vanaf. Smakelijk gegeten!

Das Essen zeichnet sich vor allem durch Quantität aus. In China und Indonesien leben 1.800.000 Menschen. Kaum zu glauben, dass diese Menschen zu allem dieselbe Sauce essen. Die Luft im Lokal ist stickig (schlecht belüftet). Für ein paar Euro mehr kann man in Emmen richtig gut Essen gehen.

Met grote groep genoten van het buffet. Ruime keuze aan gerechten. 2 soorten soep, lekkere bijgerechten als gebakken banaan, mini loempia en kroepoek. En ook nog een ruime keuze aan vers fruit en verschillende soorten ijs. En dat alles voor een zeer redelijke prijs!!

Komen hier al ca 12 jaar en hebben altijd genoten van het eten, nu hebben ze in een half jaar de prijzen aanzienlijk verhoogd, wat voor ons geen enkel probleem is aangezien de prijs stijgingen vandaag de dag, maar het ergste is dat de kwaliteit erg is achteruit is gegaan, zeer grof gesneden groente, nauwelijks gaar, weinig smaak en porties kleiner, wat ons al meerdere keren opviel. Ook kwaliteit van het vlees en kip werd steeds van mindere kwaliteit. Wij kwamen er zeker 2 x per week en zien het per week slechter worden, maar vandaag was het zo slecht, dat ik maar gebeld en geklaagd heb, en deze review heb geplaatst

Hebben er weer heerlijk gegeten zo als de afgelopen twaalfjaar dat wij er komen met onze vakantie.

Het eten is goed maar de bediening en sfeer is echt goed de eigenaresse daar blijf je mee lachen een echte gezellige lachebek😃

Helaas woon ik niet meer in Emmen, maar ik heb hier jaaaaaren onwijs lekker Chinees eten gehaald! Vriendelijke medewerkers.
