Great place, very tasty food, good value for money and definitely worth the effort.

This old station is a very beautiful place to have lunch. The service was super friendly and the food delicious. You can also take a look around the attached thrift store while you're there.

Placed a delivery order today. The order was delivered quickly. Food was hot. Fries (2.70 for 1 portion) nice and crispy. But it was literally just a handful. I have never seen such a small fry container. Scandalous! Enough for a toddler. But an adult for the normal price!? The price of the kapsalon small (8) is almost the same as kapsalon normal at a real shawarma place. Only this portion is really small! Toddler's snack. Half a plate full. Some iceberg lettuce, some fries and some wholesale shawarma. No melted cheese on top. And the taste, well, we should have known. Flampijpjes a bit overcooked but the taste was good and the cheesecake of course another small slice (2.70) Taste not worth repeating. Didn't taste fresh. In short, mainly scandalously small portions. I would be embarrassed if I were them.

Social Deal Looking back, I thought, I was treated the way I treat people myself… And I actually hadn't experienced that before. Yesterday, after a long day of work, both of us near Harlingen—one in Dronrijp and the other in a village fifteen minutes away—we ended up at the station restaurant in Harlingen at half past six. With a Social Deal… My boyfriend has been using one for years, whereas I have never used one before. I always think, a restaurateur sees us coming… Well, they certainly did yesterday at this place unknown to us. We found a cozy spot with nicely created seating areas and exceptionally friendly people. Something that stands out these days. We were allowed to tick our desired three-course menu plus two drinks (for €15.50 pp) ourselves, which was also remarkable, and we laughed together about the request for spicy sauces with the ‘plate’ we ordered. Subsequently, we ate delicious fries and delectable sharp sauces, among other things, and were served with pure enthusiasm and a smile. Friendliness isn't easy to come by. But it is at this station restaurant! And that's what I told them when we left, because that's just the way I am. Good things come to you… Sometimes… At this place, at least… Thanks!

Had a nice meal here yesterday, fries with snacks. Very friendly people, cozy decor, food was excellent.

The food was tasty, only the slice of apple pie was quite thin, but otherwise it was nice. The service was friendly and open to a chat, and the atmosphere was nice.

I ordered a hamburger and fries today. The fries were limp and lukewarm, and the burger was completely disintegrated in the container. I won't be ordering from them again anytime soon.

Zeer vriendelijke mensen. Ze doen ook de horeca voor een schappelijke prijs. Tweede kop koffie is van het huis. Gemoedelijke sfeer.
