Never seen such small portions.

A very nice place for lunch, this old station. The service was super friendly and the food delicious. You can also immediately look in the associated thrift store.

Placed a delivery order today. The order arrived quickly. The food was hot. The fries (€2.70 for a single portion) were nice and crispy. But it was literally a handful. I've never seen such a small portion of fries. Outrageous! Enough for a toddler. But an adult for the regular price!? The price of the small kapsalon (€8) is almost the same as the regular kapsalon at a real shawarma joint. Only, this portion is truly tiny! A toddler's snack. Half a plate full. Some iceberg lettuce, some fries, and some wholesale shawarma. No melted cheese on top. And the taste, well, we should have known. The "flampijpjes" were a bit overcooked, but the taste was good, and the cheesecake, of course, was a small one (€2.70). Not worth repeating. It didn't taste fresh. In short, the portions are outrageously small. I would be embarrassed if I were them.

Social deal Afterward, I thought, I was treated the way I treat people… And I'd never really experienced that before. Yesterday, after a long day at work, both of us near Harlingen, one in Dronrijp and the other in a village fifteen minutes away, we ended up at the station restaurant in Harlingen at 6:30. With a social deal… My boyfriend has been using one for years, while I've never used it. I always think, a restaurant owner sees us coming… Well, they certainly saw that yesterday in this unfamiliar place. We found a cozy place with lovely seating areas and exceptionally friendly people. Which is remarkable these days. We were allowed to choose our preferred three-course menu plus two drinks (for €15.50 per person), which was also remarkable, and we laughed together about the request for spicy sauces with the "plate" we ordered. Then we enjoyed, among other things, delicious fries, delicious hot sauces, and were served with complete enthusiasm and a smile. Kindness isn't easy to come by. It is at this station restaurant! And I told them so when we went, because that's just me. A good deed gets a good treat... Sometimes... At least, at this place... Thanks!

We had a delicious meal here yesterday, fries and snacks. Very friendly people, cozy decor, and the food was excellent.

The food was delicious, only the apple pie slice was quite thin, but otherwise it was nice. The service was friendly and open to a chat, and the atmosphere was nice.

Ordered a hamburger and fries war today. Fries were limp and lukewarm and the burger had completely fallen apart in the container Don't order there again anytime soon

Zeer vriendelijke mensen. Ze doen ook de horeca voor een schappelijke prijs. Tweede kop koffie is van het huis. Gemoedelijke sfeer.
