We had a delicious meal here. The staff is friendly, nice, and the decor is warm. There are various choices on the menu. The steak is definitely recommended.

The food was tasty but had cooled down a bit. What disappointed us was the sound from the speakers. It is clear that the young waitstaff enjoy listening to loud music while working. When I asked if it could be turned down a bit, the response was poor. The type of music was also inappropriate. But that is a matter of taste.

The terrace is a bit on the small side, being right in the middle of the street/sidewalk. I consider that the only downside, because the service and the quality of the food more than make up for it. Top quality that is affordable, as far as I'm concerned!

The food was Allright, but very expensive. I got hardly any fries with my burger, and on top of that, I had to pay an extra €2 for each serving of mayonnaise.

We had a delicious meal with good service and lovely chairs. However, we were literally smoked out. It's disgusting seeing all those people sitting under the parasol smoking. There are some very beautiful spots, even in the shade, that aren't under the parasol. Perhaps something to think about.

Very tasty food, and also a very nice menu with slightly more unique dishes. All in all, definitely recommended. The service was a bit disappointing today, though. The (very friendly) waitress did not come by our table again after taking the first order. We do appreciate it when someone comes to ask if everything is to our liking; for example, we wanted to order some extra sauce and drinks. In the end, you just end up searching and (politely, of course) ‘calling’ out to the waitress, who doesn't seem to see us (it wasn't busy). The table next to us had the same problem. After the meal, we would have liked to have a few drinks, but our plates were not cleared, and after 75 minutes—since the first order—we still hadn't had any further service at our table to order more drinks. So, we just went looking for another location. However, we did have a delicious meal. I want to emphasize that the food at Levels has been very good on every visit so far, and as far as we are concerned, that is quite unique!

My boyfriend and I ate here together to celebrate a milestone in his life. The food is very affordable and filling. We even thought they had made a mistake on the bill; that they had forgotten the drinks, but no, it was just that cheap! No frills or fancy vegetables. My steak was perfect medium-rare and his calamari was NOT like a rubber band, really top-notch! The only minor downside was that there was nothing but tearjerker music playing. Dramatic Marco Borsato, Andre Jr... But is that a matter of taste?

We had an incredibly delicious meal, but it isn't the first time we've had to wait an incredibly long time for the main course and were offered very little to drink... The food is really great and the atmosphere is perfect; the long wait was a real downer because of that, even though it was very quiet on a weekday..

What an amazing restaurant with super good service! They were very accommodating regarding allergies, so our toddler could 'simply' eat in the restaurant with us. Every detail has been thought of in the decor and atmosphere. The staff are also very child-friendly. And the furnished playroom is a big plus.

That was the best meal in the Netherlands. Super delicious, fresh food, it couldn't be better. We were thrilled.

We were at Levels with a group of colleagues of various nationalities. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. One of the waitresses treated us extremely rudely and arrogantly. When we wanted to ask a question or order something, we were ignored or she responded with eye rolls. Moreover, several people in our group heard swearing and insulting remarks being made about us. That is absolutely unacceptable. Additionally, we ordered Kamikaze shots, but these bore no resemblance to a normal Kamikaze. When we commented on this, the waitress claimed that this was “their way” of serving these shots. That came across as very unprofessional. Fortunately, the food was very tasty, but the service was downright bad. We got the strong impression that we were treated differently because we are from abroad. If that is indeed the case, it is pure discrimination and has no place in the hospitality industry. We hope that management takes this complaint seriously and provides better training for staff regarding customer friendliness, professionalism, and respect for all guests, regardless of their nationality.

Good food. Easy to book, a fresh modern look, and super friendly staff. Many restaurants could learn a thing or two from this! The only downside is the music. Too generic, but that is a matter of personal taste.

We happened to walk past and had a late lunch. We wanted to share the fish club sandwich, and that was fine. We thought we would just get an extra empty plate to divide the sandwich and fries on ourselves. But we both received a separate plate with half a sandwich and our own portion of fries. Super service! Friendly service and tasty iced coffee too! Highly recommended if you are in Harlingen.

Had a delicious meal! The pasta was generously filled with salmon. Finger-licking good... and those mocktails... refreshing in summer weather! The staff were super and top-notch! Levels also has a wonderful tea house in the English garden; we enjoyed it there a day later! A nice encounter with the waitress who had helped us the day before. Highly recommended

Nice place, but we had to wait a very long time. Whit Sunday; it really wasn't very busy, about 6 tables occupied, but it took about 20 minutes before the table was cleared and our order taken: two lunch sandwiches and two lemonades. The waitress was still inexperienced (first day) and apologized. But then it took a very long time again before we received those dishes as well. With growing astonishment, we sat wondering what must be going on in the kitchen. When I asked (reasonably politely) at the checkout why it was all taking so long, the more experienced waitress said that she only had one pair of hands. What she had been doing with those hands in the meantime was a mystery to me.

Located in the center of Haringen on the main shopping street, we stopped for coffee. There are tables outside as well. We sat inside because of a rain shower. We were greeted and served warmly. The coffee arrived quickly. The restrooms were clean and the prices were reasonable.

We are always served in a friendly manner here. The food is delicious and there are regularly new dishes on the menu. Outside there is a beautiful terrace with patio heating available on colder days. We will be visiting again soon.

High wine: perfectly taken care of! Downside: the wine was brought to the table in a glass, instead of being poured from the bottle. The accompanying snacks were excellent! Their pea soup is delicious. The Bali toasted sandwich is also delicious, with super tender chicken and crispy bacon. Cozy, trendy place, friendly staff.

After a wonderful day in Harlingen, following a fantastic wedding, we had lunch and edited the first photos for the bride and groom at Grand Café Levels. Fantastic coffee, super delicious food, and very friendly service.

We dined here yesterday with 15 people. Due to various food intolerances, we emailed our 3-course meal options to each person. Everyone received their dishes correctly and quickly, and they were all delicious. Compliments to the chefs and staff! Restaurant Levels is a cozy restaurant with friendly staff and an affordable price: 30 euros per person for a 3-course meal.

We were served promptly at the beginning, and the food arrived quickly. However, after the meal, we waited 30 minutes until one of the three servers, who were almost exclusively at the bar, cleared the table. During this time, we weren't asked if we wanted anything else to drink. Even after the table was cleared, no one served us again. We had actually planned to have dessert and a cocktail afterward, but we left because we were so annoyed with the service. All in all: Very good food, but poor service.

We had a delicious brownie latte (€5 per person). I actually wanted a pumpkin spice latte, but unfortunately, they were out of syrup. Still, a really nice café/restaurant.

The atmosphere is truly great. We found the coffee prices to be reasonable. The rest of the menu is on the higher end.

I was there right in the middle of rush hour, so they could only offer me a seat at the bar in a corner. I had a sugar bole. It was served quite quickly. The portion wasn't huge, but it was cheaper than it usually is. €9.50 for dessert and €2.50 for chocolate milk with whipped cream. Nothing special, but overall I'm satisfied.

We booked a boat trip through Levels (at Vinida boat rental) and received a picnic basket. Before the boat trip, we had a delicious lunch and enjoyed some delicious snacks in the afternoon. After the boat trip, we enjoyed a delicious dessert in the restaurant. A perfect day with threatening skies, but dry weather.

We had a wonderful meal here. Good value for money and friendly staff. The tables aren't too close together and the lighting is pleasant. The menu offers a wide selection. Allergies are well-considered, and there's a wide selection of gluten-free dishes. There's plenty on the plate, and everything is truly delicious.

We sat on the terrace for a quarter of an hour and were repeatedly overlooked, with other tables served before us. It's a shame, because good service always keeps an eye on their tables. To be fair, the food looked good.

Well, where do I begin? We waited 50 minutes for our appetizer, which was probably forgotten somewhere in the kitchen. Just as we were about to leave, bread finally arrived. Less than 10 minutes later, we received our main course, which looked and tasted like it had been reheated twice. The meat was bitter and had thick, raw onions in it. As if that wasn't enough, the staff were clearly gossiping. We've often really enjoyed our meal here in the past, but this was the last time. We won't be back, unfortunately!

We've eaten at Levels before, but unfortunately, this was the last time. It was so awful! We waited almost an hour for our starters, and then the food arrived 10 minutes later. The tenderloin had clearly been reheated, had black onions in it, and the taste was really nasty/bitter. There were raw red onions in it, and the fries were fried twice. I expressed my displeasure, but no one really offered a solution. I saw the staff making excuses. It was awful! I won't be coming here again.

It was okay. The food was good, but nothing exceptional, just a bistro. Nice outdoor seating under large umbrellas. Service was friendly, I would have liked to order more drinks, but unfortunately the service wasn't very attentive. I wouldn't go back for a second visit.

Afgelopen week hier heerlijk geluncht. Mijn vrouw was vooral heel erg te spreken over de fish & chips, die buiten de gebaande paden gaat en zeer smakelijk was. Verder vriendelijke bediening en een mooie zaak die her en der enige aandacht verlangd.

Come from elsewhere, but regularly for a day out to Harlingen, for an event or whatever or just for fun. Always take a brisk walk through the city. This time I enjoyed my lunch at Grand Café Levels and opted for Carpaccio/brown bread. Excellent for that price! Personally, I would like to see some more 'decoration', such as more fresh vegetables, sun-dried tomato segments, olives, etc. Additional price of approximately € 3.50...? Top! Conveniently located on the Grote Bredeplaats in the center. Large attached terrace. Pleasant, attractive interior. Everything tip top clean and tidy including the toilets. We were recommended the restaurant across the street when we were spontaneously in Harlingen and wanted to eat a good burger. You can put together your own burger here (you are given a card to tick off the respective ingredients). We ordered a fish burger and a meat burger with different dressing, both were really tasty. As usual, there were also fries that were nice and not too greasy, plus mayo. My dry white wine, however, was a bit boring and tasted a bit watery, but otherwise we were satisfied with the food and the price-performance ratio was also good! The service was quick, all the employees were very pleasant and attentive, overall a good burger shop with a good selection and a cozy atmosphere.

Very nicely decorated restaurant and a nice atmosphere. Had a High Cocktail tonight which was tasty with a nice variety of cocktails. The only point of note is that the service was a bit distracted tonight by 'friends/acquaintances' at the bar and that they were mainly talking and standing with their backs to you. We wanted to order something else, but after more than fifteen minutes we left it at that and went home.

Spontaneously made a stop in Harlingen and discovered this restaurant while looking for a chip shop. We had burgers, which I highly recommend. You can put your own burger together so everyone can have their own burger the way they like it. The service was very good and quick, the burgers (medium) were very good, the fries were as they should be: crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. For €15 you can't complain.

So that turned out to be a bench where the three of us had to put a plate on our laps to eat? That seemed strong to me, but there was no room, they said. Had dinner with you on Sunday, a winter plate. It was inedible, a lump of tasteless cold rice, a container of beets and tough strings swimming in the oil. 3 carrots that were not properly cleaned. Bij binnenkomst is het inderdaad wel erg gehorig en redelijk rumoerig maar daar wen je ook wel aan. Het is tenslotte een grand cafe op een zaterdagavond 17.30. Een enkeling praat lacht of gilt harder dan nodig is maar dat heb je overal. Wij 2 (46) en zoon (18) hebben er echt voortreffelijk gegeten. Voor hoofd en na. Voorgerecht ribvingers en proeverij voor 2 en als hoofd hadden wij biefstuk/Scandinavische meats/levels kapsalon. Nagerecht proeverij voor 2 en warme cheesecake. Daarnaast diverse heerlijke cocktails en drankjes. Alles was goed gekruid, heerlijk gebakken en lekker warm waar het warm moest zijn. Wachttijd was naar ons idee prima voor hoe druk het was. 0,0 klachten. Wij komen zeker terug❤

Definitely five stars for Levels restaurant! My experience here was great, despite having read some poor reviews before, and I'm very glad I went anyway. The food was nothing short of fantastic. The chicken thigh was so tender it literally fell off the stick - perfectly prepared and full of flavour. And the kapsalon was an absolute surprise: the addition of Parmesan cheese and truffle gave the dish a luxurious twist and a unique taste that you don't find everywhere. The cocktails are also recommended; every cocktail was flavorful and beautifully presented. What also stood out was the fast and super friendly service. The team works with attention and you really feel welcome. This restaurant definitely deserves more praise! I recommend Levels to anyone who likes good food, great service and a cozy atmosphere.

De serveerster die ons in eerste instantie hielp was niet erg spraakzaam. En toen liet ze tot overmaat van ramp ook nog een vol dienblad vallen, rode wijn over mijn jas. Kan allemaal gebeuren, maar er kon geen sorry af. En ik moest maar witte wijn over mijn jas gooien, boos ben ik naar de bar gelopen, daar ben ik vriendelijk te woord gestaan en de stomerij kosten zouden worden betaald. Alles netjes door gemaild maar tot op heden nog niets ontvangen. Jammer ik ben erg teleurgesteld in Levels.

Excellent restaurant in the heart of Harlingen. In addition to a cozy and attractive indoor area, they also have a beautiful large terrace. The menu is simple and small (but with very reasonable prices). My carpaccio and schnitzel tasted excellent. I only didn't like the sauce with the schnitzel (it was not a pepper sauce as indicated). Staff is very friendly and hospitable! Recommended if you are in Harlingen!
