Wallys in Wijk 00 Harlingen

Nice staff, it was a bit difficult to understand each other because we don't speak Dutch but it worked out 👍🏼 Monchou cake and Brussels waffle were really delicious!

The new owner had been there for a while, now with a new name "De Zaak" (for Harlingers it will always remain Wally's) and it has become beautiful inside, modernized, refurbished and more seats, much more atmosphere. We have never eaten a sandwich that was so thickly topped with ham and cheese as here. And a larger than usual bowl of ketchup with it. Absolutely great! And here you get a tub of real whipped cream with your cappuccino. Mmmm!!

Located in the pedestrian zone, nice to sit outside. Service was nice, prices were typical for the area, portions were very large. Our schnitzels were served with onions, mushrooms and peppers on top. Very tasty, but impossible to make. The only point of criticism: the Aperol was very thin and lacked flavor.

Had lunch at Wally's today, had delicious food and drinks. Staff is also great. Would love to come back again!

Catering........ Relatively late (<4 weeks) prior to our event, we looked for a caterer to whom we could outsource everything: Coffee and cake, Drinks, Hot and Cold buffet as well as waiting staff. Cees Mol fulfilled his promises in every respect. Our guests (>100 people) were very satisfied and full of praise for the way in which Wally's had arranged everything perfectly, down to the last detail!

Wasn't tasty, sauce from packet, came here regularly, but such a letdown, don't come here anymore

Ordered sausage rolls twice. limp rolls boiling hot and the dough limp flat and moist. Maybe our expectations are too high about a sausage roll, so whoever was in the kitchen on August 12, better watch YouTube on how to make a sausage roll. Because this really didn't make any sense. Maybe we don't think so

Onion soup was broth with 'onions', not a piece of meat in sight. Snitzel with mushrooms, deep fried meat, yuck canned mushrooms with some melted cheese on top, really not tasty. Never again for us.

The food is not what it used to be, it is disappointing, we don't eat there anymore because we were so disappointed

Previously you had the largest soft ice creams here. Now I order a large one and get the portion of a small one, my parents order a small one and get 1 pathetic line of ice cream in a misshapen mini cone. And then pay 7.90 for it. Apparently the competition is very tough that you have to serve this kind of shit. Big scam!

I have the impression that things were better before corona

A lovely place to have a cup of coffee. Delicious coffee. There is a terrace, but you can also sit inside. The employees are very friendly, helpful and hospitable. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed a Texels 0.0% here Wallys has a nice atmosphere. The service is friendly and hospitable. We will definitely come here again for a non-alcoholic beer.

Take a break with a cup of coffee and a piece of homemade monchou cake. DELICIOUS! Served with a generous dollop of whipped cream. If you are in Harlingen, it is highly recommended!

Had dinner at Wally's with my daughter last Friday. We ordered shawarma with fries and salad. After a few bites I gave it all back. Meat was spoiled. Then same thing but eaten with chicken satay. Wash well. 'In the evening we both went to bed. Email sent to restaurant and NO RESPONSE at all. This is why I decided to do this review

Nice entrance, (wheelchair accessible) clean toilets, excellent food, fresh, (excellent price-quality ratio). Friendly staff, great attention to customers. A big compliment

Whenever we are in Harlingen we always have something to eat here. Always good and tasty except on August 31st. My partner took a fried mussel sandwich and he ate it with great pleasure, but there was the wrong one... unfortunately he was miserable for a few days. I was happy for a long time that I don't like them 😁😁, but next time I'll eat there, but no more mussels.

Delicious food and good location

Het was erg druk i.vm. de visserijdagen maar de sfeer was goed. De bediening ging ondanks de drukte, regelmatig bij de tafels langs. Warm broodje kip, zat helaas weinig smaak aan.

ich habe eine leckere Waldpilzsuppe gegessen, die mit Baguette und Kräuterbutter gereicht wurde.

Service sehr nett und bemüht, auch auf Deutsch. Leider war das Essen nicht nach meinem Geschmack, aufgrund der Beschreibung auf der Karte habe ich mir etwas anderes vorgestellt.

Wir waren Nachmittags zu einem kleinen Snack hier. Die Bedienungen waren alle sehr freundlich und schnell. Das Essen war top, der Preis stimmte auch. Auch das Kindergericht kam gut an. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Prima geluncht met groep van 6 personen.Vriendelijk personeel. Achter in de zaak gegeten, maar daar is het wel erg donker.

Het duurde een uur totdat onze bestelling opgenomen was en dat terwijl het super rustig was. Ik heb hier nu twee keer gegeten en beide keren een koortslip gekregen. Misschien kan er wat beter afgewassen worden met heter water…. En het eten viel ook een tegen.

Het eten was heerlijk. De bediening was heel vriendelijk. Maar het duurde lang voordat het eten opgediend werd.

Gezellig en lekker geluncht hier. Personeel zeer vriendelijk.

Hier tijdens de Elfstedentocht gegeten, heerlijke sfeer en goed eten. Wel goed er voor moeten betalen maar dat is het waard.

Een leuke plek om te eten, gezellige sfeer en vriendelijke bediening. Het eten was heerlijk.

Vanavond de lekkerste cheeseburger gegeten van the one and only burgermeester Kevin P. Wat een sappige burger, heerlijk knapperig broodje en fantastisch lekkere kaas - dit wil je❤️

Heerlijk onbeperkt spareribs gegeten op donderdagavond, echt een aanrader. Het vlees viel van het bot af en was perfect gemarineerd. Er hangt een fantastische sfeer en het personeel is zeer vriendelijk. Wij zijn tot vier rondes gekomen, wie gaat ons voorbij?

Heerlijk wezen lunchen bij vrienden ! Wallys speciaal is een heerlijke uitsmijter die goed vulde ! Zeker een aanrader !!
