De Bakker Aan Huis in Wijk 08 Slangenbeek

For over two months now, I've been receiving fresh bread, currant buns, rolls, and pastries every week. I'm so happy! Every Tuesday feels like a party! And the delivery person is super sweet!

The bread is delicious and well-made. Good price and neatly delivered.

I didn't receive an order twice. The first time is a bit questionable, considering it was Pentecost, and that whole period can happen. (Perhaps I ordered too late?) But this week it happened again for no reason. I ordered well in advance, and there's been no communication whatsoever from the delivery person or the company itself. No one can be contacted because nobody responds. I used to have a certain Richard, and I was super happy with him. He's since "stopped," and now that we have a new baker, I'm suddenly having trouble with orders. And on top of that, my account has suddenly disappeared today because the login details can't be found. It's a bit vague, so I won't be sending an invoice next month because I'm definitely not going to pay anything!

Our local baker, Jantina, is fantastic. She offers excellent service, excellent communication, and is always on time. If there's a problem, she solves it. Westerkwartier area.

We've already mentioned before that there's mold on the bread after just three days; apparently, according to him, we're the only ones with this problem. When he worked with his old baker, we didn't have this problem, so we're going back to buying our bread at the supermarket the old-fashioned way. Otherwise, the service is great, and so is the idea, but the bread is terrible these days.

Pushy salesman. Indicated that I had no reason not to buy bread from him. He had pushed his way through the door at my girlfriend's a few years ago to continue talking inside. I won't buy anything here.
