One of the best in the area, although not the .....

Yesterday afternoon, I got half a loaf of whole wheat bread from Bakkert to try. It's a new bread; the shop assistant thought it was a bit bland. My opinion: it's a decent whole wheat roll, tender for a sourdough loaf and full of flavor. It's a whole wheat loaf, though. I bake sourdough bread myself and often use 2/3 whole wheat and 1/3 T65, sometimes with some sesame seeds or pumpkin seeds. Good luck!

We liked the croissants, but the bread was way too chewy for what we expected.

Olive bread has a simple taste. Other breads are also good. The ingredients are solid and baked with care, but olive bread praises olive bread.

This bread contains way too much white flour. The wheat bread from many supermarkets is healthier.

Delicious bread. It would be nice to include clear prices, because they are high here. For example, I accidentally spent €12 on a loaf of bread and 2 croissants. They were very tasty, but that wasn't my intention...

The best bread in the neighborhood! The other things like their croissants and focaccia are delicious as well. The staff is always friendly and helpful. There will probably be a queue when you go here, but it won't take to long and is totally worth it!

Best bakery in Utrecht. Been coming here twice a week for bread and treats for a year. Even after 2 months of traveling in France, the Bakkert croissant is still the number 1, as far as we are concerned. Super nice and hardworking people, very nice that they are also open on Sunday mornings and good that they also give their staff 2 days off by being closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Also delicious coffee to go and a bench outside to sit on!

This bakery is only open 4 days a week. They let their customers eat stale bread on the other days. Instead of opening on more days, they prefer to work on a new branch.

You sometimes have to queue for a while, but their bread (and croissants) are completely worth it!

One of the nicest and tastiest bakeries in Utrecht, if not the best! Bakers with a passion for their work! Sincere and honest in their story. I am regularly asked by friends from Groningen to bring bread (which you can freeze!). They haven't found a replacement for the Bakkert yet!

Bread and croissants etc. are good, but prices are ridiculous: more expensive than in paris, for portion half the size... a "pain of chocolat" half a normal size (mini dus) is almost 3€

Since our bread baking workshop, we have become our regular baker to buy delicious sourdough bread.

Everything is delicious here: bread, pastries, sweets, savory delicacies. And all farm-fresh. I am a big fan of the prison bread, cinnamon rolls and sausage rolls. You can look into the bakery and see how everything is made, and if you want you can get an explanation about the ingredients and the baking process. The bread baking workshops are also great fun. A real asset to the city!

For me, it is the best bakery who makes the perfect French croissant in our Utrecht Oost neighbourhood. The appeal, the smell, the texture and taste wake up your Paris memories. I hope the owner can introduce more pâtisserie varieties (e.g.cannelé🥰)

Heerlijke zuurdesem broden, uitgebreid assortiment en bestellen gaat erg makkelijk. De moeite waard om voor om te rijden!

Top Bakker(t), maakt de lekkerste broden die ik ooit heb gegeten. Ik heb hier ook een broodbakcursus gedaan en ook dat kan Nils erg goed! Van zuurdesembrood tot lekkere cinnamon rolls alles smaakt top! De Bakkert is echt een ambachtelijke bakker. Hij maakt alles helemaal zelf. Brood is echt alleen meel, water en zout! Puur natuur! Nils is echt een enorm inspirerend persoon en runt zijn zaak vol overgave.

Echt inspirerende workshop gedaan. Goede balans tussen kennis, oefenen en inspiratie. Zowel voor beginners als mensen met ervaring heel leerzaam. En heerlijk brood gebakken. Ook nog focaccia en notenkoek mogen proeven. Dus topmiddag gehad!

Ik heb een brood-workshop gedaan. Nils, eigenaar van de Bakkert heeft zo veel bevlogenheid en vakmanschap - ik heb echt van de workshop genoten en veel geleerd. Zeker een aanrader! Ik koop ook al vaak mijn brood van hem :)

Supertoffe workshop gedaan samen met onze buurvrienden; wat een bevlogenheid en vakmanschap heeft deze bakker!! En deze broden; eenmaal geproefd wil je niets anders meer.... Aanrader om te doen.

Rij hier niet voorbij! Buitengewoon goed brood, vaste prik voor ons op zaterdag. Aanrader is het meerzaden brood.
