Beer pretty good, not great. Food terrible, Dutch version of Sysco packaged food. Pork dinner was bland, over cooked, and terrible. Bitterballen not worth eating. Sausages okay. Come for a drink, not food.

You wait forever to order, then even longer for the food to arrive. The lettuce in the burger is ancient, the tomato is green, and the meat is burnt. There's no cutlery or napkins. The fries are okay.

We stumbled upon this place by chance. The waitress, Ruth, was incredibly kind and helpful. She offered us some excellent beers, and overall, we had a great meal. The prices are also very reasonable. Another really positive note is the bathrooms; we found them to be very clean.

Horrible experience. After we were sat, we were informed they would only take our drink orders and not food for another 15-20 minutes because it was “too busy”. Our water didn’t arrive until after asking for it three times. When they finally took our food orders after the restaurant emptied out, the food took 45 min to arrive. Two of the 6 dishes were completely the wrong item. The other two (steaks) were done to the wrong doneness. Not sure who was more incompetent, the front room staff or the kitchen. Here’s a photo of the “medium” steak we are being asked to pay for.

The inhouse beer is good, the rest is entirely unacceptable. We were seated promptly... and that was the last good part of the service. We were told we had to hold 15 minutes to order food, but could order drinks. The regular drinks arrived promptly but we had to ask several times over half an hour before they delivered still water. From the time we finally could order food, we waited an additional 55 minutes before it was delivered to the table. Two of the six orders were entirely incorrect (fish and chips instead of salmon), and the "medium" steaks were less than rare, with unrendered fat. The only redeeming qualities were bitterballen, the burger, and the flight of inhouse beers Incredibly disappointing. Will never return, will actively recommend to avoid. Update: The staff refused to comp anything, even though they acknowledged several orders were made incorrectly. We requested the incorrect fish dishes be returned so we didn't have to wait for refired orders, but then the staff insisted the incorrect orders be paid in full. Unacceptable.

I was served with exceptional kindness, and the mix grill was outstanding — perfectly prepared and beautifully grilled. Their house‑brewed beer isn’t standard at all, which makes it uniquely delicious and a perfect match for the meal.

This is really more oriented towards drink than eating. The pictures of the food don’t reflect the lack of taste or freshness of the food. If you have been drinking or are going there to drink, it seems ok, but with the anaesthetic of alcohol it’s hard to zone out the screaming local drunks who smelt of urine. The staff are friendly but not really in control. Close to Albert Hein, which is handy to buy the Imodium that you will need the following day.

A lovely brewery with a great atmosphere and a relatively large selection of different beers. Every beer lover is sure to find something to their liking here. The service was very friendly and attentive during our visit. Unfortunately, the preparation and serving of the food took a little longer than expected, which is why I'm deducting one star. However, the food itself was delicious: The bitterballen were truly tasty and perfectly cooked. The breaded chicken fillet with panko breadcrumbs was also crispy, juicy, and very flavorful. Overall, a highly recommended restaurant with an excellent selection of beers and good food. With slightly faster service, it would definitely have been a five-star experience.

We went to this restaurant last night. Let's start with the service: slow and almost nonexistent. The waitress seated us, but didn't bother to clean the table, which was dirty. There was no customer service, and the service was extremely slow. Food: I ordered goulash, which was unappealing even from the smell. The taste was equally disappointing. We reported these issues to the manager, but he wasn't particularly concerned. Obviously, I won't be returning if I ever return to Amsterdam, and I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE.

The beer was worth it! We arrived at 9:15 p.m. and it was really quiet. The food came quickly, but it was slammed down on the table like there was no tomorrow. I had to wait 30 minutes before anyone even asked if I wanted another drink. The food was okay (burger and tarte flambée).

This is an absolute hidden gem in the centre of Amsterdam. With Mike Tyson 2.0 coffeeshop and bars down the road, this place leaves you full to tackle the night life of Amsterdam! The steaks are huge and delicious for the price, the chimchurri is amazing and I’d recommend the applied pie for dessert, with whipped cream topped with Oreo bits. Delicious and 10/10!!

The perfect place to taste the famous dutch croquettes (bitterballen) with delicious dipping. The outside benches allow you to relax with very good beer while watching Nederlanders fly by on their bikes.
