Cappuccino was like instant coffee with a splash of warmed milk, salad was more dressing than actual salad, for me once never again

Poor quality food. Avoid the burgers, meet of not. Non interested staff.. Could do much better..

I made a reservation a week in advance, but apparently that’s too complicated for this place to handle. When I called to sort it out, the hostess couldn’t have been ruder if she tried. Her exact response was “too bad, sorry.” That’s not just unprofessional, it’s pathetic. Why bother taking reservations if your staff can’t be bothered to do their jobs? I was told the crawfish boil here was worth it, but nothing is worth dealing with incompetence and attitude like this. “Too bad” for them, they clearly don’t care about customers, and they’ve lost mine for good.

Great little spot to get some good beer and food! Service was fast, friendly and knowledgeable! On our list for when we come back to Amsterdam.

It used to have the best chicken strips in town They took away from the menu. But Sunday oysters are greaaat

The oysters were inedible and tasted spoiled. They were also full of seawater. The cocktails were also incredibly expensive, and they tasted awful. When you pay, you don't get a receipt to see how much you've paid for everything; you have to pick one up at the cash register.

Been here twice now, once for the Crawfish Fest and the other was Oyster Sunday Deluxe, both times were great. I'd definitely go back for the Oyster Sunday Deluxe, they had some nice bbq platter to go along with the oysters which were really great!

I’d walked past this bar several times and was always intrigued—it had a great vibe and looked like a cool spot to check out. Last night, on a whim, my girlfriend and I decided to stop in for a drink. She’s not usually a big fan of beer, but we each ordered one—and both were excellent. After browsing the menu, we ended up ordering some food as well. I was pleasantly surprised: everything was fresh, flavorful, and far better than what you'd typically expect from a beer bar. The service was also a highlight. Both waitresses were attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome. If I had to point out one downside, the portions were a bit small for my appetite—but I do tend to eat a lot, so they’ll likely be perfect for most people. I ended up ordering some empanadas too, and they really hit the spot. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place—it’s a great find.

Lovely cute restaurant bar, really nice furniture and design, love the colorful touches they have, especially the lampshades inside and the tilework on the bar. The staff is friendly, helpful and attent. It was even nice to work inside and they were super accomodating. Would love to come more often as a local neighborhood place. The only slight gripe I have is, the music is a bit stuck in the same 2010s pop mainstream. Maybe it was just when I was there, if you enjoy that great! But I got tired from it quite fast.

I expected more from the restaurant. Especially since the backbone from the beers is the two chefs thenselves. The meat was mediocre and chewy, and the burger somewhat undercooked. Dishes were also boring in terms of garnishing and finish.

De avond voor Koningsdag met mijn tante op het terras beland. Het zat lekker vol. Gezellige sfeer en er loopt genoeg personeel rond die je goed helpen. We namen het brood met boter en de calamari’s. Toen het kouder werd regelden ze een tafel binnen en namen we allebei een voorgerecht. De mosselen waren heerlijk!

The evening before King's Day I ended up on the terrace with my aunt. It was nice and full. Nice atmosphere and there are plenty of staff around to help you. We took the bread with butter and the calamari. When it got colder they arranged a table inside and we both had a starter. The mussels were delicious!

Two stars because they only sell cheap drinks and jackpot prizes ask for 28 euros for two gin and tonics. They don't sell the more expensive drinks, but they do charge for it.

I was at Two Chelfs some time ago and was not impressed, but I decided to give it another chance. I am glad I did. The food was great, and loads of choice Beer was tasty as always, also nice glass of wine Service has also improved, with great friendly staff working the terrace.

Delicious beers and wines, and interesting events like the Crawfish boil or Oyster Sundays. The staff is also super friendly, so would definitely recommend!

Quite a cozy place in itself. If you participate in the pub quiz, assume that it will take you at least 4 hours. Purely a commercial quiz with a break of 30 - 45 minutes between rounds so that you order more drinks. In addition, ask €9.25 for 3 chicken wings… €9.50 for 6 cheese sticks… There are limits…

The food was tasty and the service was good, but it's a shame that the beer selection is limited and two of the beers on the menu were out of stock. Prices are ok for Amsterdam.

Cozy, clean, has its own atmosphere. We came as a group and had a great time: drinking beer and eating snacks. I recommend it to everyone

Well, it's still Amsterdam. So the service is always a bit...meh. But this time I was pleasantly surprised. The service was attentive, friendly and patient. We had a large group and that always made it a bit more difficult. But everything was remembered correctly without writing anything down. I think that is a characteristic of good staff. I ordered the burger, but I was still advised to take the porc belly. I'd say...get them both, because they're both delicious. I'm not an IPA drinker myself, in fact, I don't like it. There is a lot of choice of IPA beers, but I chose the Pilsner. Luckily I was allowed to try a glass of wheat beer. Then I gave in :) In short, the food was delicious, the service was good and the salty Sunday oysters were delicious. Recommended.

Attended last Saturday and the food was great quality, not what you may expect for a taproom. Miso Aubergine and steak were big hits. Beers are also great and the service we had was really attentive

You can honestly expect a great experience. Food is outstanding- almost on standard Bib as per Michelin level, prices adequate for the quality delivered. Beer quality is outstanding, might be considered pricey but worth it. 5x

Been before, but once again we had a very tasty meal and drank nice beers on the terrace. The Sichuan steak tartare is absolutely delicious (and spicy)! Staff is very friendly and fast.

We had such great food here - muscles in a Jamaican beer sauce were delicious. Also had corn fritters and zucchini in a spicy Indonesian sauce. Service was great and beer is fresh. Can recommend if you want a neighbourhood place that is a bit different.

Really nice spot for a bite to eat a good beer! We had the burger and fries and we loved the kimchi on top of the burger- really nice touch!

The experience in this place was a very pleasant surprise. The food was delicious, the flavors exploding in my mouth! And as a Mexican we have that palate that is not easy to surprise us, because our food is a mixture of flavors, but two chefs did it! Also with a good atmosphere and excellent service. I highly recommend it. Of course, let's not forget the wide variety of beers. 10 out of 10

We sat outside to enjoy a cold beer on a hot day and decided to try the tasting plate. It was absolutely delicious! If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll definitely make sure to visit this place once more. Highly recommend!

This is a place where you can have a beer in a nice terrace to watch people pass by or with to come with a group knowing that you can always find a place to sit. The beers are great and the brand is cool enough to make tasty food and lovely cocktails. Their service has some space for improvement but everything else is nice. There aren't so many options around so I'm very glad they are there!

The beer is sooo nice; but the dumplings were too spicy (a lot of chili oil, no need).

Meh. Not terrible but not great either. Chocolate mousse was awful. Steak was soft but lukewarm and with no sides.

We visited this place with a group for a nice dinner, the food was nice, the beers were great, the space was amazing! A whole private area just for us and very nice and understanding service, especially considering the group size.

Here I have reserved part of the bar for drinks with friends and family before a party. Contact was super pleasant. Fixed quickly and also thought along. Even accommodated a projector and the like for speeches and slide shows. Roos was an employee who tapped the funky falcons especially for us all evening (recommended from their selection) and he really did a great job. Super friendly and just fun with all the guests. Do you have an event with 40-50 people and do you want to keep it fun yet relaxed? Contact them. Recommended.

Lovely restaurant with quite long list of drinks and nice lunch options. Pork belly sandwich was super tasty, though the burger was quite average . Two Chefs’ Lemonades were delicious and refreshing, perfect for the hot day

Blown away by the food. The smoked rib-eye and the salmon were truly fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back.

We had rented a separate room to celebrate a birthday. You only pay for the drinks (with a minimum purchase) and no room rental. We were allowed to do everything we wanted: karaoke, photo booth, some live music. Max was incredibly relaxed and helpful. The bar staff (Nathalie) we had on the party night were also nice and helpful. We had delicious snacks: Flamkuchen, pasties, pork belly, etc. More than enough and it was well coordinated when we would do what. Tasty drinks! In short, we had a great party. Thanks everyone!

Lovely beer and really nice staff. They were happy to give us a taster of the beers to see which we'd like to try, and were also really nice about us bringing our 4.5 month old in. They also have good baby change facilities, which is not common in Amsterdam.

Bad service, bad atmosphere. A shame

Really disappointing. The waitress didn’t even come to take our order after 30 minutes of waiting! Super disappointed, surprised by the 4.5 stars, more like 0 stars. We ended up walking out.

Heard discussion that there is no difference between an expat and a refugee. Toilets are not gender neutral. Air conditioning was turned off to save the environment I'm afraid. Wing walker beer top by the way. But D66 members... who are those people 😙?

I like the beer but the service is a bit slow

I really loved this place and cannot wait to go back again soon. Their beers are really amazing, I have tried a couple of them already and there is not one I would find only “ok”. We had a chicken burger for dinner and it was one of the best chicken burgers I have had- an explosion of flavours and taste. The fries were just the right portion and delicious as well.

The space was comfortable and the staff were lovely. But I’m not here to talk about either of those. I’m here to tell you that if you don’t order the crispy salmon, you’re making a huge mistake. I dined at Two Chefs FoodBar for the first time a few weeks ago and returned two days later because my tastebuds were yearning for more crispy salmon. I order salmon at nearly every restaurant I go to. It is my protein. I have never had a better salmon dish anywhere.

Good place for a drink with friends. Unfortunately the service was slow and we had also to call several time the bartenders without any reaction. The beers are good, you have to keep in mind also that a big beer is almost 100€ each. The quality of the food is normal.

Really cute place to have good drinks and snacks. I went there on their weekly standup night and had a good time. Their vegan bitterballen are excellent. They also have their own brewery, so be sure to taste some of their Two Chefs beers.

מקום טעים וטוב. מצטיין בבירות שמגיש. בירות ipa מעולות מסוגים שונים. הזמנו גם נאצוס שהיו טובים מאוד, בורגר צמחוני ודג שהיו כולם טובים. גם הסלט והפלונטה היו טובים. שירות טוב.

Complimenten aan het team: enorme drukte, veel vertraging, maar charme, gratis drankjes en uiteindelijk lekker eten maakten dit tot een leuk etentje vooraf aan het concert. Knap hoe de manager deze lastige situatie positief weet te maken; inclusief gratis viertjes. Heel goed!
