I was here this afternoon for high tea with my daughter. The snacks were well-varied and well-portioned. There was an extensive selection of tea flavors. There was a choice of seating inside or outside on the terrace. The restaurant looked incredibly cozy, and the staff was friendly. And finally, a place with delicious homemade Apple Crumble without currants or raisins. That was a really big plus for me, just like the delicious tomato soup with meatballs and crusty bread beforehand!

Enjoyed the high tea. Very tasty and varied. Also more than enough. Our wishes (no fish and dairy-free for one person) were listened to and taken into account. In short: highly recommended.

We had another delicious meal. On the recommendation of our waiter, we ordered the tenderloin to share. My wife and I enjoyed it. The tenderloin was delicious. I would order another one right away.

Upon arrival, we were kindly welcomed. They had read the comments on the reservation carefully. The table was decorated because we were going out for dinner to celebrate a birthday.

We had another delicious meal with the children and grandchildren. There was something tasty on the menu for everyone, and the children enjoyed themselves too. They entertained themselves with a beautiful coloring page with all kinds of activities on it. A lovely evening. We always choose De Beren because the staff is friendly and it is a nice place to be.

Great food. If I may give one point of feedback: it would be nicer if you briefly warmed the bread rolls served with the herb butter, and there is a lack of presentation regarding how the food is arranged on the plate. Friendly people, beautiful place to sit both indoors and outdoors.

What really made the evening complete was the amazing service. We were served by an incredibly nice, friendly, and customer-oriented waitress. She had a pleasant chat and really made sure we felt welcome. An absolute asset to the service team! We will definitely be back here soon.

The high tea at restaurant De Beren is highly recommended. I had indicated in advance that one person has a vegetarian diet, and this was absolutely no problem. All non-vegetarian items were replaced effortlessly, and all four of us thoroughly enjoyed the high tea. Everything tasted delicious and the service was top-notch!! Friendly staff and very approachable! It was also helpful that the wait staff advised us to sit at a large table. This came in very handy when the entire selection appeared on the table. In short, definitely worth a repeat visit.

We had a delicious meal. We were in the mood for spareribs. We could eat unlimited spareribs that evening, but could barely finish the first round. They were delicious and nice and tender. You definitely have to try it. Otherwise, join the 4-course menu. That includes a sparerib in the 3rd course as well. You can get a taste beforehand and order the spareribs next time.

We were with a large group. The atmosphere was good and the service was friendly. The portions weren't huge, but they were certainly sufficient. Everyone got their food at the same time, so we didn't have to wait for each other. Lots of vegetarian options!

Seven of us had dinner, including two kids. We didn't have high expectations. It was packed when we arrived, but a table was free, and we were seated somewhat privately, which was a nice bonus. The service was smooth and friendly. The food was also delivered quickly. The appetizer was excellent; I had the rolls with dip. The dip was good, the rolls could have been baked a bit better. The other appetizers were excellent. The main course was truly superb; I had a tournedos, incredibly delicious, deliberately without sauce, so you can see and taste the meat. Man, what a treat. Plenty of potato options were included. Not a small, pitiful bowl of mayonnaise, but two decent-sized tubs. The other main courses were also good. The desserts were also delicious. A successful evening/dinner for us.

It all looks very neat. The atmosphere is nice. The staff is very friendly. We had a discount voucher from Albert Heijn for lunch. The food was delicious. I gave it one star lower because of the deal. To make a dish "complete," you often need something extra. But I also understand that they profit from that.

Just don't order food from here! I spent almost 70 euros and then received cold food, and they wouldn't refund me or replace it after ordering. The only thing they could do was include a freebie with my next order. It's ridiculous.

Unfortunately, De Beren Zutphen went bankrupt, so we went to Apeldoorn one day. What a beautiful building! Super cozy. Pleasantly busy. Extremely friendly service. Despite the crowd, our food arrived quickly. Hard-working people. The food was truly delicious. The kids loved it too!

Very friendly staff who want to make sure their guests have a great experience. The chefs are generally considerate of allergens and eating disorders. Seasonal vegetables are always red cabbage when we're there. Private parking is sometimes limited/insufficient when tables are full. They should deduct a margin from the price of a dish if the quality leaves something to be desired, such as a dry schnitzel.

The dog was welcome and was greeted with a bowl of water and a treat. The service was excellent! The food was delicious!

On our wedding day, December 22, I had planned a dinner at this restaurant. We sat by the attractive fireplace, flowers strewn on the table. Really cozy together. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. The food was really fantastic. We will be back soon with friends of ours. A really good place to eat.

We used Kruidvat vouchers (2025: €29.95 for certain menus for two people). The significant discount on certain menus wasn't noticeable. The selection was sufficient, the portions generous, the food delicious, the spot by the fireplace cozy, and the service fast and friendly. With two glasses of wine each, we had a pleasant evening and a delicious meal for over €50. Highly recommended!
