We were with a large group. The atmosphere was good and the service was friendly. The portions weren't huge, but they were certainly sufficient. Everyone got their food at the same time, so we didn't have to wait for each other. Lots of vegetarian options!

I gave it one star lower because of the deal. To make a dish "complete," you often need something extra. But I also understand that they profit from that.

Seven of us had dinner, including two kids. We didn't have high expectations. It was packed when we arrived, but a table was free, and we were seated somewhat privately, which was a nice bonus. The service was smooth and friendly. The food was also delivered quickly. The appetizer was excellent; I had the rolls with dip. The dip was good, the rolls could have been baked a bit better. The other appetizers were excellent. The main course was truly superb; I had a tournedos, incredibly delicious, deliberately without sauce, so you can see and taste the meat. Man, what a treat. Plenty of potato options were included. Not a small, pitiful bowl of mayonnaise, but two decent-sized tubs. The other main courses were also good. The desserts were also delicious. A successful evening/dinner for us.

Just don't order food from here! I spent almost 70 euros and then received cold food, and they wouldn't refund me or replace it after ordering. The only thing they could do was include a freebie with my next order. It's ridiculous.

Unfortunately, De Beren Zutphen went bankrupt, so we went to Apeldoorn one day. What a beautiful building! Super cozy. Pleasantly busy. Extremely friendly service. Despite the crowd, our food arrived quickly. Hard-working people. The food was truly delicious. The kids loved it too!

Very friendly staff who want to make sure their guests have a great experience. The chefs are generally considerate of allergens and eating disorders. Seasonal vegetables are always red cabbage when we're there. Private parking is sometimes limited/insufficient when tables are full. They should deduct a margin from the price of a dish if the quality leaves something to be desired, such as a dry schnitzel.

The dog was welcome and was greeted with a bowl of water and a treat. The service was excellent! The food was delicious!

On our wedding day, December 22, I had planned a dinner at this restaurant. We sat by the attractive fireplace, flowers strewn on the table. Really cozy together. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. The food was really fantastic. We will be back soon with friends of ours. A really good place to eat.

Everything was beautifully presented, and the taste was fantastic! The service was also a real standout: young, enthusiastic, and incredibly hospitable. Empty plates and glasses were cleared quickly, and we were always politely asked if we wanted another drink – without being pushy. There was even time for a friendly chat and helpful advice about the menu. Seriously, where else can you find service like this these days? Well, at De Beren in Apeldoorn! Highly recommended!

Ate here with the family. The service was good. Two people had pork tenderloin. Probably sous vide, because it was pure white with a few grill marks and as dry as.... I got it new, and it was a bit better. But not as a pork tenderloin should be. Otherwise, satisfied.

My wife had a vegetarian satay here, which was inedible. My sister-in-law had pork tenderloin with mushroom sauce, but they forgot the sauce. I also had chicken satay, which was mediocre. So, in conclusion, I won't be repeating it.

Very friendly service, a pleasant welcome, and we were offered a German menu. The food was okay, average, nothing special. The chicken in the Caesar salad was the best, the dressing was pre-made, and there was so little Parmesan that I had to hunt for it. The tomato soup was also tasteless. A shame.

A very cozy restaurant with lots of bears in the decor. It was well attended, and a few birthdays were celebrated with beautiful decorations and music. There's a large selection of drinks and food; the staff is quick and friendly despite the hustle and bustle. I'll be happy to come back.

During the appetizer and main course, they came to the table a bit too often to ask if everything was to our liking and for drinks. They were very friendly, though. Dessert took a long time to arrive, probably due to the waitress taking a break. As a result, our table had to be taken over by colleagues. This felt a bit chaotic. The best pork steak I've ever tasted was here. It was super juicy, rich, and had a nice, brown crust. The entire dish looked very good, too. We discovered this restaurant by chance on our trip from Amsterdam to Germany. The restaurant is very comfortably decorated and has modern furnishings. Cuddly teddy bears are standing and sitting everywhere. There's a terrace like a beer garden. There's parking for visitors, and payment by card is accepted. The staff are very nice, friendly, and attentive. Everyone speaks German and English. There's also a German-English menu. The food is delicious and served with style. The dessert (apple pie with ice cream) was fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant. We will definitely return on our next trip to Amsterdam.
