Owner-operated, they prepare the onions and potatoes for the fries by hand. Clean, delicious, and friendly. A fish fry for kibbling is just 20 meters away, equally excellent.

Stopped here on my bike tour because of the good reviews. A great snack bar for families, considering the high prices in Zeeland. And everyone really enjoyed the fries, the food, and the ice cream. The road from Domburg to Ostkapelle is beautiful, by the way... a really great forest with rustic trees.

We come here often, usually after a walk along the beach and then back through the woods — the perfect ending! The fries are always delicious and fresh, and you never have to wait long. Everything is just right: simple, honest, and top-notch. Highly recommended for anyone in the area! 🍟🌲😄

We were there recently, and it wasn't our first time. If you're ever in the area, go there. It's the best place to stop when you're hungry. The fries are delicious, and the staff are always friendly.

Absolutely fantastic!!! We've been coming there for many years now when we're camping nearby or otherwise there. I even make a special trip to get food there, even though other good fries are sometimes closer. It's simply unbeatably delicious there, the prices, despite the beautiful location, are still very fair, and the crew is super friendly and always in a really good mood. The boss there speaks fluent German, and the rest of the crew is also so accommodating and friendly, speaking German with us. The fries are definitely recommended, and the large burgers are delicious too. They're not particularly big, but the meat tastes completely different, not like a pre-made frozen patty, but like fresh ground beef. They're incredibly tasty and filling, too. The special Frikandeln are also great and don't taste good everywhere; there are big differences. The same goes for the Bami (fried fish); I really like it the best there. You can also get ice cream with toppings and just about anything the fryers can cook. A truly beautiful place, right next to the forest on the way up to the beach. By the way, they're currently looking for additional staff 🤗 We'll be back, of course!

Great service, no question. But I find the best fries a bit far-fetched. They're just mediocre fries that you can get anywhere around here. So, nothing special. The special sauce was pretty good on the regular fries, though. ✌️

We can hardly decide where the fries are better: here or at Babbelaar. This year, the Bostent wins, in our opinion. The Bostent is unbeatable as a complete package, an absolute must after a day at the beach.

A “chip shop” that has been well run for years (decades).

Highly recommended, really fresh, good quality and very well prepared. Although the beach is only a few minutes' walk away, it's worth buying a snack here. Most people, including us, always drove past and ate on the beach. It's worth making a stopover!

Wat een heerlijke zelf gesneden frites , een topper , komen hier al vele jaren en zijn nooit teleurgesteld, uiterst vriendelijk personeel en bediening , altijd goede zin , snacks en ijs zijn ook heerlijk , evenals het lekkere "bakske koffie ", altijd weer een traktatie om na een flinke fietstocht hier een rust pauze in te lassen, mannen ga zo door !!!!

No human being should be forced to walk 15 minutes to see beach without having Fries. Great we found this place!!! Perfect to stop here, eat some great dutch food and continue. 100% recommend.

This is by far the best place in Zeeland. The two bosses have been working here for ages and are always in a good mood and friendly. The fries are homemade and therefore excellent. The soft ice cream is also recommended.

The fries are produced here ourselves!!! We were there shortly before opening and were pleasantly surprised to see that freshly peeled potatoes were being made into French fries. That explains the perfect taste. And the frying fat is apparently changed daily. The rest is like everywhere else. There is no kibbeling here.

AMAZING fries and ice cream for under 10€? The ice cream was AMAZING and their fries were so good with their frites sauce. Plenty of outdoor seating, and plenty of drink and food options as well. I highly recommend this place to anyone!

Kleiner Imbisstand auf dem Weg zum Strand. Das Angebot reicht von Pommes, Frikandel, Bitterballen, Kipcorn etc. über Hamburger bis hin zu Eis. Ausreichend Picknicktische stehen zur Verfügung. Diese liegen angenehm im Schatten der Bäume. Wir waren bereits viele Male hier und waren immer sehr zufrieden. Personal ist immer freundlich und hilfsbereit.
