I was surprised that this is such a nice place to have a drink. Good and fast service, delicious apple strudel. I have recently been alone with my 3 daughters aged 8 months, 3 and 6 years and I certainly felt welcome. No play corner or something, but during this time they can look at presents, count Christmas trees and enough space so that they are not a burden to others but can still walk around. We had a lot of fun.

Despite understanding the crowds this day. The customer service was really below par. So we only had a drink and didn't feel like eating anything here.

Cozy lunchroom in the center of the most beautiful/largest fortress in the Netherlands.

Service left much to be desired. Drinks were placed on the table without asking what was for whom. Sandwich was boring and not really tasty. Many regular guests who were satisfied and who were recognized by the service. Maybe normal is better.

After having lunch here a number of times, we think it is necessary to dot the i's and cross the i's again. Yes it was busy..... But there is no need to repeatedly make mistakes. After ordering, my drink (read soft drinks) came first and I thought okay, they are busy, fine. Ten minutes later my partner's spa red arrived, without explanation or excuse as if it was the most normal thing in the world and with a dirty glass, without too much fuss my partner exchanges it. Then we got our food and then quickly the cutlery, which is handy if you want to eat.... So we grab our cutlery and we remove dirt from the bag where it was put and in the meantime I already smell something that is not right. My partner exchanged the cutlery himself without making any fuss about it, even though some mistakes had already been made and the girl at the counter said nicely "I hope these are clean" .... So what I said, I smelled something that wasn't right..... that's right, my egg from the bouncer I ordered was burnt. You can understand that I was already done with it.... but my partner remains calm and takes my bouncer to the kitchen. The owner looks at it and shrugs her shoulders and says nothing else, as if this is all normal. We get a new bouncer and the lady at the counter apologizes. When paying, the lady asks if everything was to your liking, if she hadn't we wouldn't have said anything, but just wouldn't eat here again. Now my partner indicated that he did not really like it, to which the owner immediately responded yes, but we resolved that nicely. Like, now you shouldn't complain.... All the more reason for us not to come back here again!! Ridiculous, just acknowledge your mistakes and don't pretend that this is all completely normal, but do something with the feedback from your guests instead of trying to cover them up....

Price/quality perfectly fine! Good coffee too!

Went into town for the weekend in Gorinchem and ended up at the Broodplank, very friendly staff. It was pleasantly busy but they kept a close eye on it. Enjoyed delicious coffee and iced coffee. Add toast and a hazelino. Both were very tasty. Cozy place to visit again when we are in the area.

Forgot part of the business order and after we indicated it we were able to join at the back again. This was a one-off

Cozy food is good and not super expensive

Had lunch here for the first time. Enjoy a nice, cool meal indoors during these beautiful summer days. There was plenty of room inside around noon. Friendly and courteous service, and delicious sandwiches and sandwiches were served and eaten with taste.

The only coffee where you can get coffee and breakfast from 8:00 a.m. Very friendly and delicious 👍👍👍

Nice lunch, delicious tea and (iced) coffee! I also had a pistolet with omelette tomato and bacon. This had a garnish of a scoop of beef salad, cucumber, egg and pickle. Tasted great! My wife eats vegetarian and asked the waitress about the options (who helped her very well!) and ended up with a vegetarian panini with mozzarella, tomato and pesto, which also tasted delicious. This panini also had a garnish with a scoop of beef salad, egg, pickle and cucumber. Then you just didn't understand it... We thought that was a real shame. I put that garnish on my plate and ate it. It was next to the sandwich, so no harm was done. But that's why 1 star less.

Delicious food and friendly staff

Had lunch here for the first time with a friend. It was very busy, which is always a good sign, although the overview from staff is sometimes lost. Staff was friendly and pleasant. And my club sandwich was delicious!

Cozy place for lunch, which tasted good and looked delicious. Staff very friendly and well-coordinated. Smooth service and everything was clean, even the toilets were cleaned in between, something you don't see everywhere. Keep it up, big compliments to you!

Onlangs heerlijk geluncht met vriendin. Club sandwich was echt lekker en genoeg. Gezellige sfeer en super vriendelijk personeel. Wij komen zeker terug!

De zaterdag voor hun vakantie waren we niet meer welkom om 13 uur om met 11 personen te lunchen omdat het eten op was. Ze gingen deze dag om 15 uur dicht. Had ze er de dag ervoor gebeld en daar is toen niks over gezegt

Super lekker ontbijtje/vroege lunch gehad. We hadden de plank met allerlei verschillende broodjes met beleg. Jammer dat er 2 met dezelfde tonijnsalade was gevult. Maar echt zeer smakelijk en een leuk idee!!! Warm saucijzenbroodje en warm appelflapje. Vriendelijk en redelijk vlotte service. Prima terras met niet een heel bijzonder uitzicht. Oh enne tip niet teveel met augurken smijten😉

Hele mooie lunchroom. Ze hebben een zeer uitgebreide kaart. Prijs/kwaliteit is echt goed. Je krijgt een zeer ruim portie. Alles is snel klaar en van goede en verse kwaliteit. Interieur past helemaal in het concept. Zeker een aanrader!

Klein stokbrood gegeten. Dat was méér dan voldoende. Vlotte en vriendelijke bediening

Ik heb gekozen voor een tosti geitenkaas met honing en walnoten. De bediening was vlot en vriendelijk. Wij zaten vlak bij waar de broodjes gemaakt werden door 2 dames. Tot mijn verbazing zag ik hoe 1 dame met haar tanden!! een verpakking kaas probeerde open te maken. En erger nog, het was de geitenkaas voor mijn tosti. De tosti smaakte helaas nergens naar. Voor mij was dit de laatste keer.

prima lunch plek, maar voor mij is 1 bezoek genoeg geweest. Broodjes zijn oke, beleg smaakt ietwat goedkoop, maar daar is de prijs dan ook naar. (al ga ik liever naar de hema of bakker bart, daar krijg je wel iets beters voor de prijs) helaas was er geen glas kraanwater beschikbaar voor de snelle dorst, dus dat werd een chaufontaine bestellen. Is niet heel erg, maar wel tekenend. Personeel is vriendelijk! Kwamen snel drinken opnemen, maar moesten aardig lang wachten (+- 20 min) voor we de bestelling van de broodjes door konden geven. Dan nog een laatste tip; De glazen ruiken naar hond!! misschien nieuw afwasmiddel aanschaffen :)

Eten was heerlijk. Is alleen jammer dat ze geen bruin brood hebben in deze tijd van gezond eten en drinken. Maar er is altijd wel iets om te zeuren.

Hier ist der Eiskaffee sehr empfehlenswert. Auch die Brote sind toll. Lecker getoastet. Hier komme ich immer wieder gerne hin.

Bol carpaccio volgens de kaart een Italiaanse bol, jammer was gewoon een witte bol voor de rest Owkee

Mooie lunchroom maar ze zijn overdreven vriendelijk waardoor het geforceerd voelt of vreselijk ongezellig en eten is opgewarmd in de magnetron

Het eten was middelmatig en het personeel alles behalve vriendelijk. Wij komen hier niet nogmaals.

Een sfeervolle lunchzaak met een geweldige kaart en bijzondere gerechtjes tegen bijna ouderwetse prijzen in het sfeervolle oude centrum van Gorinchem.

Heerlijk eten voor een (h)eerlijke prijs. Zeer zeker een aanrader voor mensen die graag een hapje willen lunchen. Goede porties, voor goede prijzen!
