The satay was cold and someone was throwing pots and the bread was really super much I think 0.1 people could eat it and the bitter balls were not bitterballen but pudding with butcher's instead of mustard

Last night I ordered loaded fries here. I'll never do that again. The fries were soggy and stuck together, there was sauce on three fries, and there was no Parmesan cheese. And you pay €7.50 for that. I also stood waiting to order and was completely ignored. And all that on a Thursday evening.

The food is tasty, the spare ribs are not homemade and the hamburger was a bit disappointing in terms of taste, the price-quality ratio is not in proportion, the spare ribs at Fat Alice are much better and as ribs should be.

We come here every year for the Voorthuizen vintage car event; it's our regular fixture. The food is fantastic, and despite it being incredibly busy with a long line, you get your food quite quickly and it's good quality, not rushed or cold, or anything like that. Hence my 5 stars, because they simply deserve it!

Holiday ritual! We go on holiday to the Veluwe several times a year. The Daltons have become part of our holiday ritual 😂 Delicious. I recommend the mini burger tasting if you can't decide. And the milkshakes are also delicious (not as sugary/chemical as you often get at snack bars). Orders are always ready on time and the staff is friendly. 10/10! ⭐️

Fantastic! We dined here as a family of 10. We asked beforehand if it was possible (due to a busy street market), and we also made a special request during our meal. This was no problem at all, and it was handled very nicely! Very convenient, as we also had a few small eaters with us. The final bill was reasonable, not a huge amount! So sometimes you order a little more than you order once. And then you get the next one. We were on vacation and live relatively close, about 40 minutes away. Delicious burgers, worth repeating

This restaurant surprised us positively. You can sit down or order takeout. Good value for money, you definitely get your money's worth. There's also plenty for kids to choose from, and a nice gift from the box comes with the children's menu.

A very cozy little burger joint with about 20 seats, offering takeout and delivery. The food is consistently good quality, and the staff is friendly.

I have been a fan of Daltons for a while and have often eaten there with family. I have also regularly picked up food with colleagues. Unfortunately, I have noticed that the quality of the pick-up has deteriorated. With my last order, the loaded fries were clearly different than before: there were more fries, but less meat, and the taste was also less tasty. In both portions of the Sheriff loaded fries, the cheddar cheese or sauce was also missing, which is a shame.

Got spareribs to take away for 23.50 euros. As if they were bought from Albert Heijn and heated up in the microwave. In terms of taste it really is such a factory taste and the meat is not soft and juicy that almost falls off the bone, as it should be. There were no sauces, only mayonnaise for the fries and a very small bowl of coleslaw, which had almost no taste and consisted only of hard carrot and cabbage. I was really craving some tasty Spareribs.....disappointing.

What a service, isn't it!!!!! If you want 3 fries without in 1 bag, that is not possible, only 4. And when you say that 3 can also be in a bag, you get the answer that they have to be in containers. Here you can eat all kinds of fast food, ice cream, milkshakes and sundaes, and fancy burgers. On Sundays they open at 4 pm, with nice weather there was already a long queue at 3.50 pm. The milkshake was made with that device (not with ice cream), so it was not very tasty.

The kitchen deserves high praise: the quality of the food was excellent. As a particularly positive surprise, there was a free starter at the beginning that tasted convincing. The burgers – one beef burger and two chicken burgers – were excellently prepared and flavorful. A small point deduction results from the lack of the option to choose the degree of doneness of the beef burger. The meat was served medium well, which was okay in terms of taste, but an individual selection would have been desirable. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, although it could have used a little more seasoning for a spicy order. Overall, the side dishes were successful. The fries were crispy on the outside, but could have had a slightly fluffier consistency on the inside. What was particularly pleasing was the option to order them with Joppie sauce, which gave the dish a special touch. In terms of price, the restaurant is within a fair range. At €20-30 per person you get a quality meal that justifies the price. You can also feel the attention to detail and the desire to offer guests a special experience - not least through the numerous awards that the restaurant proudly presents. Overall, a highly recommended place for anyone who appreciates a cozy atmosphere, excellent burgers and a fair price. With small tweaks to the individual meat preparation and seasoning it would be a perfect 5 star experience.

6 years ago: Neat place with good quality food. BUT now 02-2025: things have gotten so bad. Small portion of butcher (€8.80!) and a weak croquette. There is simply no response to my report via the website. Too bad, but unfortunately we will have to go to the competitor (Big Bread Kitchen De Uitdaging)

Found this inconspicuous restaurant by chance. It wasn't until we were sitting inside that we found out about the Golden Boy Burger award. We haven't ordered the €5000 burger, of course only because a 2-week advance order is required 🤪😉but we can only recommend this restaurant 👌🏼 thanks for the nice service. Cafeteria which serves very tasty burgers and children's menus. When you eat on site, they push you to order from the menu. After insisting, it is also possible to order individual fries and snacks.

We ate here twice, the first time something with Udon was tasty. A citizen for the second time, this is what they should be known for. You can argue about taste, but not this one anymore! Schnitzel was ok, but the sauce was not great. All in all it's a shame. The satay, on the other hand, was great!

Upon arrival we asked if we could also eat the food on the terrace for the price of the snack bar section. That was possible. We received the card from a non-Dutch speaking employee. However, the prices were completely wrong. Example: A fries was charged for double what was stated on the menu. In addition, these were children who were working and who still had to learn the necessary social skills. Once and never again for us. The guests next to us also noticed all this, and luckily they also decided to just have a drink.

I don't like to write a bad review, but this service made no sense. food was fantastic, but the employee standing there was not. Ordered fries for 6 people and instead of a family bag of 6 people (as always), received 6 small, thinly filled individual containers. Have been going on holiday in Voorthuizen for years and have been coming here for some time now. Unfortunately, things are continuing to deteriorate. Ordered 6 fries. Instead of asking if we want a family bag, we get 6 separate containers. Fine, unless you fill the containers just to the brim. This amount of fries would not have been enough for 4 people. Also having to pay 6 times 2.70 instead of 1 times 11.50. When we later get a story, we only get smart-alecky comments from a cheeky guy like “Then you should have ordered a bag” and “Then you should have been clearer”. This is not what I am used to, but it seems like there are all kinds of people working there who lack social skills. For me this was the last time. In my opinion, the owner is not the problem, but the youth who work there.

Downright misleading. Really antisocial. NEVER come here again. Luckily we were able to save another family from the same mistake. But unfortunately we paid €6.70 too much.

Went far behind. Don't go there! I've been coming here for 30 years, this was the last time. We immediately received a piece of baguette with chicken on the table. Afterwards it turned out to cost €9, we did not ask for this. For 16.50 1 satay skewer, 3 small pieces of meat, small bowl of fries. For €72 2 satay menu Snitzel menu Nancho, s 4 coke Madness!! Ridiculous for a cafeteria. Staff speak poor Dutch. After 30 years this was the last time!

They would ask first if you want nachos (not free), well we said yes because why not but it is absolutely not worth the 8-9eur they were asking. The portion is super small, and it didnt even sit in the oven that long since the veggies are cold, cheese from the second section is not even melted. We were feeling guilty to give up this small, expensive portion of food so we tried our best to eat the cold cheese, but in the end we cant anymore. Look at my sad, unmelted nachos when we gave up at the end in my photo here. As a place famous for burger, also dont see a vegan burger option. Well its fine for me since they have other vegan main dish. I ordered some Asian dish and omg, that is the worst noodles I have ever eaten. Weirdly sour with a questionable amount of pickles, what the hell? I have way better food at a chinese wok to go place really. Could have given the food 0 star if possible. Absolutely not worth for how much we were paying for this expensive dinner. The 1 star is prob for the atmosphere and customer service. Never ever ever going back.

This was truly the best ice cream I have ever eaten. So if you really want to eat good ice cream? Then go to the Daltons. A place where you don't expect it, the more fun it is to discover it. My recent visit to the Daltons in Voorthuizen was a very positive experience. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The snacks ordered were ready quickly and tasted excellent. Although I don't normally visit a snack bar often, Daltons stood out positively, not only because of their service and quality, but also because of the dishes you can order. Not only the snacks that you can order everywhere, but also their own creations. Highly recommended for anyone in the area who wants a quick, tasty bite!
