De daltons is the place to go to when you are in Voorthuizen. The atmosphere is cozy, and wild-west styled. The staff members are very nice and friendly. There are vegan options on the menu. And about kid-friendlyness, this place is very kid-friendly. They have a child-menu. You can also order online to get it delivered to your home. And this is the place of the world’s most expensive burger.

We come here every year from the campsite. The Asian street food dishes are always good. We ordered a chicken burger this time and it was quite disappointing; the bread was very dry and very simple for the price, with a bit of coleslaw and some (too little) spicy sauce on top, plus a small bowl of fries. For the price, this should be better.

Delicious food and a beautiful terrace. However, I do find it a shame that the staff are texting on their phones in between courses and then touch your food without washing their hands. Hence, one star less.

They have pretty good burgers and it looks clean.

On holiday in Barneveld. Ordered food from the Daltons. Many thanks for taking the trouble to deliver our food to our holiday address. The food was still very hot and tasted very good.

It's been years, I don't go there anymore.

We were on vacation at a nearby holiday park and were so curious about the food that we had it delivered. Delivered quickly, it was still nice and hot. Friendly delivery driver. And oh, the mini burgers and spareribs were so tasty! Too bad there isn't a branch in Den Helder (hopefully expanding someday?😜) It was worth repeating, and of course we still have to try the rest of the menu. That means waiting until the next vacation then.

It used to be just a snack bar, but now it suffers from delusions of grandeur. An amuse-bouche with your burger, come on. Ultimately, you’re still just serving snack bar food, so come on guys, act normal! And just charge normal prices right away.

They haven't responded to the contact form, the phone, or WhatsApp for the BurnOrBust Challenge for 2 weeks... (no is also an answer)

Very very good food, a bit pricey but good

Always friendly, efficient, good service, and tasty and varied food and menus.

Been twice; the first time we had a super delicious meal, restaurant level, not a quick snack bar bite. Then again with my grandson, put together a "short fuse menu" with a very friendly and helpful man serving us. Our little 2-year-old thoroughly enjoyed a custom-made plate of fries and a frikadel. Everything was arranged so smoothly that the little one didn't even have time to misbehave! We will be back, and gladly for a 3rd time.

The food is no longer tasty and it is poorly cooked. Yesterday I had a spring roll that was simply swimming in oil; the food was cold and poorly cooked. This has been the case for a few weeks now. It has deteriorated very rapidly in a few weeks.

Update after 2 years. From 5 stars to a maximum of 2. It has become way too expensive. What we get in terms of fries now is very little for a lot of money. The fries aren't like they were 2 years ago either. They are now very mealy and limp. Everything is packaged separately. If you order 15 snacks with 15 portions of fries, you get 30 containers. If all the snacks were just put together in one bag and the fries perhaps in well-filled containers, Then the price could go down. Unfortunately, if this service remains like this, we will lose customers.

Too expensive for tasteless food. We ordered a beef burrito and a chicken burger. The burger was okay, lacking flavor but okay. The burrito costs almost 17 euros without anything else. A small burrito filled mainly with rice, vegetables, yogurt sauce, and a little beef. The ingredients were pure and fresh, but it lacked flavor and I found the price truly outrageous. Very disappointing and not something we would repeat.

The establishment is clean and well kept, the service is quick, friendly and helpful. Wait times aren't long, their prices are good and the food is great.

I had the Californian Burrito. Surprisingly delicious and filling. It's more expensive than fries, but you get more for your money. I would definitely go again.

Tasty fries but you certainly don't get a lot

Ordered food today, pick it up myself. The three burgers were cold, and my Pistole was also cold, but it tasted good. Unfortunately.

We were seated at a small table in the middle of the restaurant, just in front of the restrooms and right next to the backs of the chairs at the next table (even though we had a reservation). Not a pleasant place to sit. Drinks arrived very late, but the food was ready quickly. The burgers were okay, but we weren't entirely convinced because the bun was rather dry and the flavor wasn't overwhelming.

The satay was cold and someone was throwing pots and the bread was really super much I think 0.1 people could eat it and the bitter balls were not bitterballen but pudding with butcher's instead of mustard

Last night I ordered loaded fries here. Well, I'm never doing that again. The fries were soggy and stuck together, there was sauce on only 3 fries, and Parmesan cheese was nowhere to be found. And you pay €7.50 for that. I also stood waiting to order but was completely ignored. And all that on a Thursday evening.

The food is tasty, the spare ribs are not homemade and the hamburger was a bit disappointing in terms of taste, the price-quality ratio is not in proportion, the spare ribs at Fat Alice are much better and as ribs should be.

We come here every year for the Voorthuizen vintage car event; it's our regular fixture. The food is fantastic, and despite it being incredibly busy with a long line, you get your food quite quickly and it's good quality, not rushed or cold, or anything like that. Hence my 5 stars, because they simply deserve it!

Holiday ritual! We go on holiday to the Veluwe several times a year. The Daltons have become part of our holiday ritual 😂 Delicious. I recommend the mini burger tasting if you can't decide. And the milkshakes are also delicious (not as sugary/chemical as you often get at snack bars). Orders are always ready on time and the staff is friendly. 10/10! ⭐️

Fries overcooked and incredibly greasy, croquettes undercooked and lukewarm. The employee tells you it's just because it's busy. This is simply carelessness. Pure amateurism.

Fantastic! We dined here as a family of 10. We asked beforehand if it was possible (due to a busy street market), and we also made a special request during our meal. This was no problem at all, and it was handled very nicely! Very convenient, as we also had a few small eaters with us. The final bill was reasonable, not a huge amount! So sometimes you order a little more than you order once. And then you get the next one. We were on vacation and live relatively close, about 40 minutes away. That's why we'll make the effort to come back more often. Especially since you're originally from Flevohof; we used to eat there often ;-) Greetings from Biddinghuizen!

Delicious burgers, worth repeating

This restaurant surprised us positively. You can sit down or order takeout. Good value for money, you definitely get your money's worth. There's also plenty for kids to choose from, and a nice gift from the box comes with the children's menu.

A very cozy little burger joint with about 20 seats, offering takeout and delivery. The food is consistently good quality, and the staff is friendly.

I have been a fan of Daltons for a while and have often eaten there with family. I have also regularly picked up food with colleagues. Unfortunately, I have noticed that the quality of the pick-up has deteriorated. With my last order, the loaded fries were clearly different than before: there were more fries, but less meat, and the taste was also less tasty. In both portions of the Sheriff loaded fries, the cheddar cheese or sauce was also missing, which is a shame.

We ate delicious loaded fries...highly recommended...very nice and hospitable service.

Got spareribs to take away for 23.50 euros. As if they were bought from Albert Heijn and heated up in the microwave. In terms of taste it really is such a factory taste and the meat is not soft and juicy that almost falls off the bone, as it should be. There were no sauces, only mayonnaise for the fries and a very small bowl of coleslaw, which had almost no taste and consisted only of hard carrot and cabbage. I was really craving some tasty Spareribs.....disappointing.

What a service, isn't it!!!!! If you want 3 fries without in 1 bag, that is not possible, only 4. And when you say that 3 can also be in a bag, you get the answer that they have to be in containers. Uhhhh. Think of the Mileu Daltons, instead of 1 bag, now 3 bags and also 3 containers. Then the cashier can look at you like a sheep to see if I understand. No more Daltons for me

Here you can eat all kinds of fast food, ice cream, milkshakes and sundaes, and fancy burgers. On Sundays they open at 4 pm, with nice weather there was already a long queue at 3.50 pm. The milkshake was made with that device (not with ice cream), so it was not very tasty.

The kitchen deserves high praise: the quality of the food was excellent. As a particularly positive surprise, there was a free starter at the beginning that tasted convincing. The burgers – one beef burger and two chicken burgers – were excellently prepared and flavorful. A small point deduction results from the lack of the option to choose the degree of doneness of the beef burger. The meat was served medium well, which was okay in terms of taste, but an individual selection would have been desirable. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, although it could have used a little more seasoning for a spicy order. Overall, the side dishes were successful. The fries were crispy on the outside, but could have had a slightly fluffier consistency on the inside. What was particularly pleasing was the option to order them with Joppie sauce, which gave the dish a special touch. In terms of price, the restaurant is within a fair range. At €20-30 per person you get a quality meal that justifies the price. You can also feel the attention to detail and the desire to offer guests a special experience - not least through the numerous awards that the restaurant proudly presents. Overall, a highly recommended place for anyone who appreciates a cozy atmosphere, excellent burgers and a fair price. With small tweaks to the individual meat preparation and seasoning it would be a perfect 5 star experience.

6 years ago: Neat place with good quality food. BUT now 02-2025: things have gotten so bad. Small portion of butcher (€8.80!) and a weak croquette. There is simply no response to my report via the website. Too bad, but unfortunately we will have to go to the competitor (Big Bread Kitchen De Uitdaging)

We spontaneously dined here with 10 adults and children. The service was super nice, the food was delicious too, would come back.

If you want to get out for a while, have a coffee together, or have lunch, or just go shopping in the flower shop and buy something. Nice to get out for a while. Good parking facilities, free.

Found this inconspicuous restaurant by chance. It wasn't until we were sitting inside that we found out about the Golden Boy Burger award. We haven't ordered the €5000 burger, of course only because a 2-week advance order is required 🤪😉but we can only recommend this restaurant 👌🏼 thanks for the nice service. They have the best fries (war) in the region! But be careful where you sit when you order, because if you sit outside at the tables, you will be chased away if you order fries inside. Because that is the restaurant part. 😂
