We had a wonderful Christmas Day meal with five people. The location was cozy, beautifully decorated for the holidays, the food was delicious, the staff were friendly, and the service was quick. The only downside was that we ordered a cocktail with Dutch shrimp. Unfortunately, we didn't receive it; they used Norwegian shrimp instead. That was a bit of a disappointment.

After seeing the musical "40-45" on Boxing Day, we thought we wouldn't have anywhere to eat. No problem at De Hebberd, which, despite being full, still had room for us. The food was delicious, and we were even allowed to choose the Christmas menu.

I was frozen solid, only had a main course, and quickly left. My Christmas Day dinner was somewhat ruined, as my 85-year-old mother could barely walk from the cold.

Lovely restaurant, we had a lunch for €18.00: soup and three sandwiches, delicious! Great service, friendly staff. Perfect for a Sunday lunch before a musical. Parking nearby, train station nearby.

I had made a reservation in advance, we got a table for two near the stairs to the toilets, and people who arrived later without a reservation could sit anywhere, which we found very strange, so they gave us the free choice of sitting anywhere, in any case not near the stairs to the toilet

Despite the hustle and bustle surrounding the musical on Saturday evening, we still had a lovely, peaceful meal in the newer section, which was much quieter than the old one. Albert and the new owner's son, Robin, were the caring hosts who always came to chat with us Barneveld residents, making you feel seen and welcome! After the NederlandZingtDag (Dutch Singing Day) at the Midden Nederland Hallen, we settled in here. What a cozy restaurant! The staff were exceptionally friendly. The warm nachos as a starter, the main course "chicken on a stick," the goat cheese salad, the chicken salad, and the desserts were absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!

We had a delicious lunch before going to the musical '40-'45. Delicious choices, and the menu's names are also fun. Something for everyone, young and old. If you want to sit inside, definitely make a reservation. If you have difficulty walking, please let us know that you don't want to sit at a higher table. There is a separate toilet for people with disabilities.

I came for the second time with a different group. The food, as expected, was plentiful and served hot. I've had different experiences before. This time with four people, everyone was very satisfied.

I was having drinks with a group of friends. We ordered some food, but it contained something one of my friends was allergic to. So, at one point, he wasn't feeling well. He went outside with another friend. I asked a staff member what was in it and showed him his allergy list. She went to check in the kitchen. And sure enough, there was something in it he was allergic to. They were very thoughtful and considerate. They were very kind and friendly and tried to help as best they could! That was so wonderful! Everything turned out fine, and we even mentioned it to them. It was a bit of a shock for all of us, but they provided excellent help and support.

The restaurant was well-attended, pleasantly busy but well-organized, with very friendly and helpful staff who were also very considerate of the musical. The salmon omelet was fine, but we missed some butter on the sandwich. My tuna melt was very dry and there wasn't much in it. For €9, this is super expensive....too bad...😐

Apparently, they just got a new owner. But they still need to hire a decent chef. Or the coordination between kitchen and service isn't working well. Went there for dinner with a group, but while the idea of ​​the food is good, the quality is truly subpar. Uncooked, cold, greasy—in short, not recommended. Would I go there again? No! Would I recommend it? No! The service (staff) is excellent, by the way, and the decor is also OK.

The very friendly owner also keeps an eye on everything regarding service. As an experienced hospitality professional, this really struck me. Attention to detail. The food was also very good! 3 appetizers (to share), 2 main courses, and 2 desserts for 2 people. It was truly perfect. The portions were perfectly measured, so you didn't get too little, but certainly not too much either. Just the right amount. You don't experience this kind of food. Today with wife and daughter at the Hebberd. Good service and delicious food. Have eaten quite a few spare ribs and this one is definitely in the top 5. Too bad that for 3 people just as many fries and salad are put on the table as for 2 people. The small bowl of cucumber salad was not really what I expected from a salad that is served with the main course. 2 small points, otherwise definitely 5 stars.

For dessert, we both had the cheesecake with ice cream and whipped cream. Everything tasted great, and combined with the friendly service and pleasant atmosphere, you have a truly successful dinner.

De Hebberd is fantastic! We had our wedding here, and it was perfectly organized. Excellent service, and Robbin took care of everything down to the last detail!

It was busy, so we had to wait a bit. Unfortunately, the first burger I got was "rare" instead of "medium," but of course, I got a new one with a free drink. And it was truly one of the tastiest burgers I've ever had. Absolutely fantastic! Combining it with the 40-45 musical was very easy, and they even got a discount at the restaurant!

We eat at De Hebberd regularly. There's (almost) always room. They also have a clear allergens menu. The staff is friendly and very accommodating of dietary requirements.

The omelet was spoiled. I mentioned it, and the staff simply reported it to the kitchen. No feedback, no discount, and I left three-quarters of the meal. Such a shame.
