Delicious fish soup, the mussels were very tasty, and the coffee was nice and hot, along with the homemade cookie—yummy! The atmosphere and service were excellent, and the dishes were beautifully presented. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner! The Koopmans Family

After the excellent dinner (Bouillabaisse, Lambrump and Panna Cotta) I spontaneously said ‚I will come back here‘! Also definitely try the home made Limoncello with your dessert!

We went for the surprise menu the first night. It was so good that we immediately reserved the seafood for the next day. Very friendly staff, without being cloying. Only a bit dark...and those plastic plants on the table....

Their main supplier t Utje makes a drink (not beer) called La Bamba That is not beer because it contains sugar and glucose syrup, citron extract and hop extract, I told the owner about this. With the point that if you expect a beer that is on the menu for €5.90 per can, you will get a 0.33 can, but it was a 0.25 liter can. I gave feedback that as a customer I find this shrinkflation and personally find it undesirable. As a thank you I had to pay not €5.90 but €6.50 for the can The administration is messy, the menu is messy and customer loyalty is not something this place is interested in. My advice: Be honest!

Had a great evening! Starter: Chef's special (5 amuses from the chef) what a taste explosions! Main course: Lamb rump, combined with apple syrup, samphire and sea lavender. Perfectly cooked and deliciously tender! To finish a Spanish coffee. Delicious food, host and service super friendly! Thanks for this nice evening!

We were here during the liberation festival, so it was quite busy, but we still received excellent service and had a delicious meal

The food was delicious, but the dishes followed each other too quickly if we didn't mention having to wait a while. Too bad you got the impression you were rushing to settle everything. Miss "joie de vivre"!

A nice restaurant at the Bellamy Park. The quality of the food is good but the portions were disappointingly small. Vegan rendang turned out to be a few oyster mushrooms with a very small scoop of rice and some puree. When we asked for some extra rice, that was not possible. "We're out of rice." (?)

Gisteren, 07-02-'25 spontaan een drankje gedaan bij de Dighter. Naast ons zaten 2 Belgische dames die een nachtje over waren in Vlissingen. Ze vroegen een suggestie om te dineren. Wij vertelden dat we na ons drankje naar het restaurant van de Dighter te gaan, naazt waar we zaten. We hadden al vele fijne gerechten gehad. De dames vertrokken naar ernaast. Wij volgden hen korte tijd later. De dames bleken al heerlijk te zitten genieten van hun diner en bedankten ons voor de suggestie. Wij bestelden zalm en een bouillabaisse. G E W E L D IG, ook dit overtrof weer onze verwachtingen. Vriendelijk personeel en een chef/keuken die van de producten en ingrediënten een waar feestje hebben gemaakt. Ik snap niet hoe dit restaurant zo veel sterren krijgt en als 4de beste restaurant van Vlissingen staat genoteerd. . Wij vinden het absoluut beneden peil. Amuse assortiment zijn een paar plakjes vlees en een stukje vis. Slaat nergens op. De Bouillabaise vond ik ook heel bijzonder. Laagje soep met wat garnalen en een stukje zalm. Diamanthaas was weinig op aan te merken maar ook geen topper. Al met al geen enkele reden om hier ooit terug te komen.

The food was good and tasty, the prices were reasonable. Unfortunately the evening didn't end the way you'd expect from a lovely one. we waited forever for our food. It took about 1 hour for the starter, another hour for the main course, and when the dessert wasn't served after 3 hours, we left beforehand. No apology or anything, we were charged full price too. Absolutely unprofessional. The entire store was run by one waitress, which is impossible, but you should know better beforehand during the holidays.

Geen succes. Matige bediening , verkeerde gerechten opdienen of vergeten op te dienen. Dit blijft bij een eenmalige ervaring.

We haven been here with a group of 11 people. We reserved upfront, and specifically mentioned that one person has a gluten allergy as well as a lactose intolerance. One day after our reservation we received an email confit that this was no issue, and they offered to create a special menu for our group. Although the gesture was very nice we decided to stick to the cards menu. We were placed on the first floor and with to elderly people (88+) going to the bathroom downstairs was an issue. But they kindly agreed that the man could use the ladies room on that same floor as well. Downside was that it was chilly. The food was good, although the Jewish Fillet of Terrace Major was a little too far. The red gurnard (special offer, not on the menu) was great! Afterwards there were several deserts amongst which a cheese platter. They advised a Pedro Ximenez 1827 which was a perfect match!

Een fijn terras, waar we een heerlijke cappuccino hebben gedronken. Zo attent om er een speciaal gemaakte bonbon bij te doen. Die was ook heel lekker. Vriendelijke bediening!

Soep was niet heet, deze hebben we teruggegeven en na enige tijd kregen we lekkere hete kastanjesoep met extra vers brood met lekkere roomboter. Prima! Met excuses van de serveerster. Binnen was het koud, verwarming stond niet aan. glas rode wijn zeer prijzig ( € 8!)en hoeveelheid summier, de wijn was wel smaakvol! Muziek vonden we niet altijd even fijn, stond ook te hard voor onze beleving... Verder vonden we de hoofdgerechten lekker, vriendelijke bediening. Al met al een gezellige avond ondanks de minpuntjes...

Ontzéttend lekker gegeten gedronken en genoten van een super goed verzorgd en ontspannen diner! Alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd!

Enjoyed a drink on the terrace beforehand. It was pleasantly busy but certainly not disturbing. There were three people and all three enjoyed our dishes. My recommendation is the lamb rump, so tender. The choice is ample with beautiful dishes.

We had dinner there with 5 adults at the beginning of August. Everything was excellent. In mid-August, we had a drink and a snack with 2 adults in the afternoon. Everything excellent too.

Delicious Indian curry and mussels on the pleasant terrace. Very friendly service. The blanket that was available came in handy when it got a little chilly. Something seemed to go wrong when paying with the card, so we ended up paying in cash. It later turned out that the amount had been debited from the account. This was refunded to us without any problems. Great service!

Een beetje speciale zaak waarbij twee panden die geen synergie hebben samen de service brengen. Een beetje rommelig. Bediening niet zo vlot. Eten was wel relatief goed maar sommige aanvullingen op het bord toch niet top en bij elk gerecht hetzelfde. De suggestie van de chef waren eigenlijk 5 amuzekes voor toch wel hele dure prijs. Een van de 5 gerechtjes was 1 kleine scampi. Oorspronkelijk was de zaak 1 pand waarbij de kok ook de eigenaar was. Toen was het eten echt wel veeel beter.

2 croquettes, "fresh" salad, piece of cucumber and old lettuce. Hard fried fries, 6 people on the terrace and a 30 minute wait for the food. The owner was a nice man, but that blond woman with curly hair couldn't finish the plate of tasty food on the table. And that for only € 14.50. Ooh yes, your chip fat needs to be refreshed....

The food was absolutely amazing and a really nice restaurant. I have been there before and I will for sure visit again! Five star food! However the waitress serving us “Kira” who introduced herself when she called me to tell me she made a mistake with my bill. (She had forgotten to add two cocktails) and I paid without looking at the receipt. As most people do as I expect an honest and correct account of what I ordered. She expected me to stop what I’m doing and travel back to the restaurant to pay whatever was outstanding. I offered to stop by the next time I am in the area. But that wasn’t good enough. And she expected to send me a request. To which I refused and insisted on coming in when I dine there next time. After which she accused me that it was my mistake too, ignoring my solution and repeatedly asking “so you just don’t want to pay?” I have never experienced something more unprofessional. I hope she learns from her mistake. I will still come in this week to pay the outstanding bill.

Vis van de dag genomen (schol met combinatie mosselen) en was zeer lekker. Prijs kwaliteit in orde. Setting op de oude markt is ook leuk.

One of the better café-restaurants in Vlissingen. Nice and cozy terrace, friendly service and plenty of choice of drinks. I had dinner here on a quiet Monday evening: As a starter, the Chef Special, a nicely arranged platter with five smaller snacks and various flavors, was very tasty, together with the served rolls, both white and brown, and butter. Then the main course, the Lamb Rump, in combination with the apple syrup, a unique preparation that is not often presented. This was also a good flavor combination with the different vegetables on the plate. Fries were also tastier than competitors. An ice cream sundae with homemade limoncello, lemon sorbet and vanilla ice cream was a tasty ending. Will definitely come here again, both for a drink and something to eat!

Omdat we 6 jaar zijn getrouwd wilde we lekker gaan eten we kwamen bij de dighter uit nadat we hadden gereserveerd de tafel was leuk gedekt omdat we iets te vieren hadden , we gingen voor het verrassingsmenu van de vernieuwde kaart we genoten van elke gang die we kregen en elke hap was weer een verrassing, in Vlissingen kan je wel overal lekker eten maar hier bij de dighter was alle smaak sensatie overweldigend

The restaurant itself does have some flaws and overdue maintenance. The service was fine and the food wasn't bad either, but the amuse had a tom kha kai cream that was ice cold. The duck was bland. And the craziest thing was the surf and turf. A combination of shrimp with spicy stew. Stew was tasty but dominated all the others. They can certainly cook and make beautiful dishes, but unfortunately not everything was successful this time

We enjoyed the Christmas menu in our favorite restaurant in Vlissingen for the second time at Christmas. 6 courses with accompanying wines were simply outstanding!!! Great service!!! All in all a successful evening!!!

7 course menu nicely done, I'm a beer man this Zeeland beer menu not my favorite

Ate with two people and it exceeded expectations! We opted for the 4-course menu and all dishes and the accompanying wines were very tasty! The service was friendly and the food came at a good pace (not too fast, not too slow). Apparently it is a relatively new concept, but as far as we are concerned it is a successful concept! Recommended!

What a disappointment. There were two at the table. We were looking forward to this evening. And yet... What a disappointment! We were served after everyone else, even though they arrived after us. An inordinate wait, over an hour for the (very small) appetizer. The service was catastrophic: if we didn't wave, no one came to us. We arrived at 7.45pm, and our main course arrived at 10.30pm. In short.... too nice, we say nothing. We were thinking of a small commercial gesture, and nothing. Except a "thank you, goodbye". Let's talk about the price: way too expensive for the quality and especially the quantity. In short, a steal. A real shame... We won't be coming back.

Thieves. The food wasn't bad but it took at least 45 minutes between each course. The quantities were very small. The waitress told us it was due to overwork in the kitchen but between the last dish and the dessert we were the only ones left to serve and yet we waited more than 30 minutes (even the waitress left before we were served at 11.30 pm). A word of apology? A compensation? Not at all! Not even a drink from the boss or a cup of coffee. 150€ thrown out the window. Never again!

Unfortunately, after the takeovers by new owners, it has plummeted enormously. Owner is thinking too much. With expensive dishes. It used to be a nice restaurant but now it is cold and boring...the only positive thing is that the chef has stayed. That's why that one star

The food was delicious! The staff and speed at which the food was delivered were not that good. Had to wait 1.5 hours between starter and main course, after 15 minutes our side dish arrived while the main course was almost finished. Fortunately, the food tasted good.

What a pleasant surprise this restaurant. We had a delicious meal here. Both the chef and the staff really know their stuff. Despite our intolerances, the chef was able to make a really delicious meal. Everything super fresh and nothing from a jar. Hats off to this team.

We were very disappointed with our visit to this restaurant. First of all, we were served by a very young man who didn't really speak English or really understand what we wanted. And that also became apparent later on. Not only was our food not there after 40 minutes and my toddler had to desperately beg me for food, our main course only came after further inquiries, and the starter was forgotten. The fries were burnt brown for all guests including us, the salmon made me sick and the curry also made my stomach grumble. They apologized and at least the drinks were on the house, but 50€, 2 hours and two injured adults later, we are distancing ourselves from this restaurant! (It's also very loud)
