Charming restaurant in a beautiful location overlooking Vlissingen's inner harbor and the Walcheren canal. We opted for the three-course menu. All dishes were delicious and of good quality. Friendly staff with a keen eye for service. Excellent value for money.

We enjoyed the relaxing surroundings and the carefully composed three-course dinner. The service was excellent and provided additional advice on matching drinks, which made the culinary experience complete. The food was refined: not only a delight for the taste buds, but also a feast for the eyes. We appreciated the visible care and attention that had been put into the dinner, which contributed to a very successful evening.

If you're running away from chips & fish and "appfeltrudel," head to the Timmebrakiek Gastrobar. A 3-minute bike ride from the Vlessingue sea wall, you'll find original, delicious, and beautifully presented cuisine. The €49 menu is a real bargain. For us, it's hands down the best restaurant in the area, offering excellent value for money.

It is a great hotel with nice rooms and a good breakfast. The restaurant serves good quality food, but the menu could have been more accessible and simpler. Unfortunately, the waiting times are very long; the kitchen doesn't seem to be able to keep up with the pace. And now it wasn't even busy yet. That's not really pleasant after a long day at work.

Exceptionally tasty food. More than enough. Good card. Nice, friendly employees. Open kitchen, nice and clean interior. (And toilets too!) Cozy bar.

Zowel het diner als het ontbijt in de Timmerfabriek is geweldig! Toplocatie, lekker eten, vlotte bediening. We hebben er echt van genoten. Prijs/kwaliteit een absolute topper.

Eten goed en redelijke prijs voor 3-gangen menu. Wel heel kleine porties maar ook grote bak (matige) friet. Wijn ook goed geprijsd. Heel aardige bediening.

Well if you like what you see in the pictures then you will very much enjoy this restaurant. It has a very nice atmosphere and the views are pretty nice, most importantly the service was great. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and I would definitely recommend this restaurant. (PS: the photo doesn't show much but it was not taken for that purpose, just used it later)

High expectations, not met. Had to wait more than 30 minutes for first drink. Despite vegan options on the menu, there turned out to be none. All in all very unfortunate.

Delicious food. We had the lacquered pork belly as a starter, which was so incredibly tender and delicious with all the flavors that were served with it. For main I had the corn chicken and my partner the sea bass. These were also super tender and the garnishes had been well thought out. The passion fruit and white chocolate dessert was truly the highlight of the evening. Here too, careful thought had been given to different textures and taste experiences that came together perfectly. It's a shame that we don't live nearby at all, otherwise we would definitely come here more often.

Good food, nice wine, but a very non friendly restaurant manager. If you are open to bookings between 17:00 and 20:15 you normally can book in two seatings at least 30% of the tables. Not state that you are fully booked at 16:00…. Lucky they had a “cancelation” so we were able to get a table at 20:00. At the time it was 4 other tables vacant as well….. the rest of the staff was nice.

Wir wollten dem Alltag für einige Tage entfliehen und ans Meer. Übernachten … Nicht verstaubt und altmodisch sollte es sein… und deshalb haben wir im Hotel de timmerfabriek ein Appartement gebucht. … und waren hier schon total überrascht. Wirklich beeindruckend! … ein schönes Abendessen sollte dazu kommen… und das hat geklappt- das Gesamtkonzept, das Ambiente, der Service, das Essen…, einfach nur toll. Hier bleibt nichts dem Zufall überlassen, wir wurden so herzlich empfangen, sehr individuell bedient, die Gerichte waren nicht nur extrem lecker, sondern auch ein Augenschmaus. Die €€€€ können wir nicht nachvollziehen. Der Preis ist vollkommen gerechtfertigt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Het moet eerst gezegd: hotel de Timmerfabriek is het beste hotel in Vlissingen. We verbleven hier al enkele keren. Omdat ons favoriete Italiaans restaurant door onvoorziene omstandigheden gesloten was, beslisten we deze keer om het diner in de gastrobar van het hotel te nemen. Wat een teleurstelling niettegenstaande de vele lovende kritieken. Dit is volgens mij ver van een gastronomische beleving. Veel te kleine porties aan te hoge prijzen. 5 kleine stukjes rundsvlees op een hoopje stoofvlees (wie heeft dat uitgevonden) met wat jus erbij. Een potje gestoomde groenten genoeg voor een kind van 5. Er zat nog zand in het schijfje prei. 28€ voor 2 gamba en 2 coquille met weinig smaak. Ik spendeer de meer dan 100€ wel terug in ons favoriete Italiaans restaurant. Buon Appetito

Very good meal. Both the ceviche and the main course with diamond tenderloin were well seasoned with a well-suited garnish. The service was a bit businesslike, but in good order, I prefer a slightly warmer atmosphere.

Had a great experience in this restaurant. Indicated in advance that 1 person must eat gluten-free. They were well prepared for this. Upon arrival I was told that the service had already discussed with the kitchen what options were available to me and that they ensure that everything is prepared gluten-free. This gave me confidence that I could eat with confidence. A really delicious meal, almost all dishes on the menu were possible, with some minor adjustments. The three courses I had were all super tasty, it was not noticeable that adjustments had been made due to the gluten. Good price-quality ratio. Service very friendly and attentive. Cozy atmosphere and decor! Recommended for people on a gluten-free diet!!

Het eten en locatie was top, mooi restaurant met industriële uitstraling. Het nadeel van zo’n restaurant is dat het qua aankleding redelijk kaal is maar daardoor ook een zeer slechte verwerking had van het geluid. Wij hadden de pech naast een heel luidruchtig stel mensen te zitten . En dat daardoor onze communicatie met elkaar niet goed meer te volgen was. Dat was echt een minpunt. Eten was top, sommige gerechten hadden wat warmer gemogen ( zoals de soep)

Had a really great experience in this restaurant. The staff was friendly, and the service was good. The staff was attentive and helpful, and they were happy to help you. Everyone's individual wishes for the meat (medium/medium rare etc.) was cooked to perfection. The salmon tartare is highly recommended, paired with the New Zealand white wine! Nice to see what they have done with the carpentry factory, everything looked good and neat. I didn't think the prices were high, and I actually thought the price-quality ratio was simply good. The menu is a delicious autumn menu at the moment, highly recommended. I would love to come back here in future seasons!

Excursion in Vlissingen. Very unexpectedly ended up here in this old carpentry factory that has been transformed into a beautiful hotel/restaurant. The atmosphere is very cozy, super friendly and helpful service. A really nice feeling when you come here. The food was super tasty, also in terms of price and quality, really tip top! It is really worth visiting this place and enjoying delicious food and warm service.

Wauw, gewoon te gek voor worden. Een echte aanrader voor een lekker dineetje. Wat een smaken . Vriendelijk personeel die weet waar ze over spreken. Aangepast wijntje dat prachtig bij de gerechten past van cava , naar wijn en dessertwijn!!

We hebben hier met een gezelschap van 20 personen gedineerd op onze bruiloft. Op zo’n speciale dag hoop je natuurlijk dat het afsluitende diner goed verloopt en dat al je gasten een fijne avond hebben. Wat wij hebben mogen ervaren is eigenlijk niet met woorden te beschrijven. Het was van het begin tot eind echt gewéldig! Er was een prachtige tafel opgedekt op het terras met uitzicht op de haven, en het 5-gangendiner van de barbecue was bizar lekker en was ook een lust voor het oog. Dan de service, zoiets hadden we nog niet eerder meegemaakt. Aan alles werd gedacht, er werd keurig rekening gehouden met een aantal dieetwensen, we hebben geen lege glazen gezien (ook heerlijke bijpassende wijnen bij de gerechten) en de kids werden ook niet vergeten: toen ze liever toch een kinderijsje wilden in plaats van het reguliere dessert, hoefden we dit niet eens te vragen maar werd het gelijk geregeld. Het was een dag om nooit te vergeten, en het diner bij Gastrobar De Timmerfabriek was de kers op de bruidstaart. We willen daarom alle medewerkers bedanken voor deze fenomenale avond!

More than enough staff walking around, but no attention to the customers at all. We were on the terrace during Vintage weekend. After 15 minutes we called someone and we actually received a menu. When we wanted to order something, we were told that we could only order one beer from about 12 types of beer on the menu... they simply didn't have the rest. Moreover, we heard that payment could only be made with festival tokens. After all the experience of the service we decided to drink somewhere else. Very bad service!

Wait half an hour for a drink and then wait half an hour to pay...... Very poorly organised!!!

We had a 3-course dinner here with an aperitif. The interior and exterior of the building look very nice and you can sit comfortably in the restaurant or bar. The food was certainly to your liking and we had a very tasty meal here. The steak tartare was fairly coarsely chopped meat which gave it a unique taste. The Tournedos was also very tender and tasted good in combination with the underlying sauce. The service was very friendly and always around to answer questions. This place is definitely recommended to visit!

Beautiful location, excellent dishes, nice staff. It is a huge space, so go with more people and not just the two of you.

The two of us ate here twice during a stay at the hotel. The industrial building is designed in such a way that it feels spacious and luxurious. The staff is knowledgeable, correct and very friendly. The food is delicious. The brigade dares to deviate from the beaten track, with great results. If we are ever in the area again, we would even make a detour to eat here again.

Delicious food, good (communicative and very hospitable) service and cozy atmosphere. The recommended wines, as well as the cocktails, are delicious. Spending the night is also recommended, we will definitely come back!

We went to the Timmerfabriek for drinks and snacks to celebrate a special occasion. Despite an initially nice evening, we had a very unpleasant and disappointing experience here. At the end of the evening we were presented with a bill that stated at least one drink too many per person. This must have been an honest mistake, but unfortunately a polite discussion could not lead to any understanding or willingness to correct this mistake. Instead, we were spoken to in a derogatory manner and ultimately paid to avoid an escalation. It is clear to us that we will never come back here, nor will we recommend this place to our guests.

Well-maintained hotel. Very nice and modern furnishings. Hotel is located in the docks of Vlissingen... A fully upgraded site. Restaurant is ok but reservations are definitely necessary. Staff is friendly but sometimes poorly informed.

Booked my mum a 4 night stay recently and it was the best choice. Room and service was absolutely amazing. My husband and I joined my mum for breakfast during her stay and the selection of breakfast was fantastic. Very fresh and very well presented. Hotel staff from the restaurant and the reception were extremely friendly and very professional. Highly recommend this hotel.

Upon arrival on Christmas Eve, please note at reception that you are early. We were a little surprised. Just walk through a completely empty room. We were directed towards the bar, a beautifully decorated room, very attractive, but not busy. A very friendly young lady called Tamara offered us our first drink and explained that it wouldn't be busy. Unfortunately, if you know the carpentry shed, this is a very large space. After our drink we were taken to our seat overlooking the harbour. You sit high here and have a good overview of the whole thing. We had the 5 course Christmas menu. We had a delicious meal, each dish refined and beautifully presented, delicious flavor combinations. Very friendly service and we received all the attention because it was not busy, which was a shame, even the chef came by several times. Very unfortunate for the staff that I am sorry that it was so quiet. We are fans. Enjoyed it immensely, highly recommended. We are fans and will definitely come back. Beautiful location. Delicious 5-course dinner, with delicious dishes that have been carefully prepared. Here is a wine arrangement with delicious wines, but the difference in glasses between the BOB arrangement and the normal glasses is not entirely correct, the glasses for the full wine arrangement could be a bit fuller. Good and friendly service.

Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. Everything very tasty and fresh. Very friendly staff.

Had dinner here with two people last August 13. We were really looking forward to it in advance. The hotel is beautiful, the location is nice and the duplex room we booked exceeded expectations. Nothing but praise for the Hotel, the breakfast was also delicious and well prepared. Unfortunately, dinner in the gastrobar was quite disappointing. I will briefly try to explain what was wrong in our opinion and I hope that something will be done about this for any future customers. The choice of a 3, 4 or 5 course dinner is excellent. 55, 65 or 75 respectively ex wine package, is quite expensive, but for a culinary hotspot (as they claim to be) we certainly have that. We opted for the 4-course menu and 3 of the 4 courses were really good. The rack of lamb was all tendons. I also reported this and the response was that they found it annoying and would pass it on in the kitchen. Now the biggest negative and that is that of the total experience. Upon entering, there was no reception or guidance to the table, so we approached someone who indicated that we could sit wherever we wanted, which was fine. Unfortunately we were only seated for 2 minutes and that turned out to be the only table where we were not allowed to sit. No problem, we chose another table. I am not a wine lover myself so a bottle of spa red was fine, unfortunately there was no cooler for the spa red and I could also pour my own glass. The wine arrangement itself was good, although the glasses were poured very sparingly. 1 appetizer, for the entire evening, is also quite little in my opinion. While serving the second dish, our table lady lost track of what was in the dish. By the way, the dishes followed each other very quickly, when my girlfriend's wine glass was empty, the next dish was on the table within a few minutes. We paid within 1.45 hours... At the end a cup of coffee with the question if some friandises could be served with it. People didn't know what I was talking about... We come from the Breda area and had the idea in advance that it would be comparable to a restaurant like; By Pascal (Oosterhout), Zuyd (Breda), O&O (Sint Willebrord), Chocolat (Breda). For us, eating out is more than just good food. The total package was really far below par for what people had in mind and that is a shame because the potential is there.

Nice meal. exactly what you would expect from it. The wine menu made the food. That was great. The only point... We sat on the balcony, and the bright lights on the ground floor were exactly at eye level...

Last Sunday we settled down on the terrace for a drink. Unfortunately, the terrace was not furnished and there appeared to be no service. After some time, another guest had to point out that I had to order and pick up at the bar, which was nowhere to be read. There appeared to be only one employee. Friendly man by the way. But if a glass of wine costs 7.50, I expect more service. Staff shortages also need to be managed. Especially considering the allure that the hotel and bar want to create. In terms of prizes that was a success, but not in terms of performance that afternoon. By the way, beautiful location, hotel and bar.
