Good restaurant. The food is very good, but not refined. They mainly use high-quality ingredients. Friendly service. Perhaps add a salad.

Centrally located restaurant right on the market square by the church, with a great view and a lovely terrace. I had delicious chicken pieces with French fries and tzatziki, and some tomato and pepper salad. The meat was very juicy, and the fries were just as they should be. Plus, a shady spot on the terrace. Very good location 😃

Today was the first time at Markt 45 and it was not disappointing. The menu and the dishes served were fine. We chose the steak tartare as a starter. That was a good portion and tasty. As main courses we had three different dishes. A steak, burger and lobster. All three were tasty. The service was friendly but not yet a fully attuned team. That doesn't matter because it was friendly and correct. We had to wait quite a long time for our dishes and the occupancy was certainly not high. So that still needs some routine. But we will definitely come back here because there are more things on the menu that we would like to try. If everything is a bit more attuned to each other, it will easily become a four star rating.

Hamburger at €25 was bone dry. Had to wait a long time before they came to take order. Staff did their best but they were all very young.

What a delicious meal we had tonight. The starter platter served with a small glass of Gin (the ham was prepared with this product) is really highly recommended. Then the cote de boeuf with two delicious sauces mushroom/pepper all fresh products. And that can be tasted too. Highly recommended if you can enjoy a good piece of meat. With that the right choice of wine and a guaranteed top evening.

Valhalla for meat eaters! I quote my partner: "the tastiest piece of meat I've eaten in years!" About the flat Iron stake. I had the pork cheeks and they were cooked to perfection. They were still whole, but still so incredibly tender, really delicious! We also tasted the charcuterie and we will definitely come back to try the other types. What a taste sensation, a real asset to Vlissingen! There are also various fish and vegetarian options, so something for everyone. We will definitely come back!

It has been taken over and is now called Markt 45. We had dinner with 6 people. Quiet atmosphere, tables not close together. You can talk well to each other. Excellent service. Good starters. There are also fish or vegetarian options for the main courses, but the strength of the restaurant lies in the beautiful pieces of meat that you can order per 100 grams (from 200 grams). Had a nice evening.

Super nice cafe with delicious flammekuchen. Friendly host who clearly enjoys his work. One point for improvement is the nacho cheese, which was too dry and there was not enough cheese on it, but it did not really detract from the experience.

We were on vacation because the staff was super friendly and accommodating and even the dog got a little bark, which I was very excited about. We were super satisfied, but we were probably overlooked at the beginning, but that wasn't a big deal, the service was great and very friendly, the food was also really tasty, we'd love to come back again and keep it up👍😊😊😊

Wasn't busy but great service by the owner's son. Very friendly and quiet! The choice was not large, but it was deliciously prepared and tasted great. The owner/cook himself was ready for an extensive chat! We felt completely welcome! In short, TOP and recommended (on the square near the old church on the old Market)

The cuisine is good, as an Alsatian, I find that the tartes flambées are a great success. However the wait is much too long. We waited between 30/40 minutes to get our dishes (the restaurant was almost empty that day) which is a shame

A nicely decorated restaurant with a somewhat limited menu. The dishes were tasty but relatively small portions for the meat dishes. The Dorade was a good fish choice, tasty and nice large fish. The service was great, very friendly and was able to provide some extra information about each dish. The prices are on the high side for what you get.

My compliments for Mourad's friendly service, this young man made everything right, because of him we did not send back our super and super bad Paella, but we did not eat it either, except for the 3 shrimps..., the rice was a large wet tasteless mush! It really didn't mean anything, yuck!

A very nice host who knows how things work, in an open-minded atmosphere. The catch of the day was whitefish, rolled up with spinach and shrimp: really delicious! The surf and turf was also of good quality and very well prepared. What a recommendation!!

Gambas ajillo were very tasty, well seasoned and not mealy. Gambas a la Plancha were a bit small for a main course (5 pieces), but good in taste and not mealy. The service was friendly and fun. The location is on the Oude Markt square next to the church. If there were several terraces, this would really be a top location.

The restaurant is located directly on the market square next to the church and therefore offers a great view. We were able to move around without any problems and the service was very nice. I had a salad and can only recommend it, the mixture between the cheese and the apples makes it really tasty. However, I would recommend the kitchen to add more fresh things such as grapes and strawberries to further balance the cheese, as it is very present in the mouth. The price is a bit higher but I think it's good for the service, food and ambience especially for the view. You can reserve a spot online, but the many spots mean you can also go there spontaneously :)

Delicious food. Food came quickly, was tasty. Too bad my friends' plates were already taken away while I was still eating. Also, when paying, the gentleman was apparently quite annoyed that I had not given a tip, there was no "thank you" or "good evening" after paying... I paid 190,- which I personally didn't think was fancy. We also had a nice evening.

Very good restaurant, the report in the newspaper is incorrect about the service and the Paella. In Portugal and Spain it is also prepared, or it simmers all day, which is also not good. It can be a nice restaurant with good atmosphere. But unfortunately, it was almost full and the service couldn't handle it, which meant everything took a very long time and a lot went wrong. Among other things, we did not get the table we requested, an ordered dish was not available and the side dish was insufficient. The food was ok, but not great. A lot went wrong with other guests as well. All in all very disappointing and they are selling themselves short. While they do charge relatively high prices. Provide better service and they will get more turnover and satisfied customers. Not recommended for now.

We ordered three drinks and one desert and we waited for half an hour - a bit too long in my opinion. The decorations and music were great.
