Very friendly staff. Great menu, something different from the standard fare. Very affordable.

I have eaten here before and was actually very satisfied, but this time the experience was not good. The service was below average. In itself the drinks were brought quickly, but then we waited more than half an hour before we could order food. Trying to get attention politely did not work, so in the end I asked for attention a bit more loudly. Then it took a very long time again before the food arrived; in between no one came to ask if we wanted something else to drink. Serving the food turned out to be difficult; people regularly walked through the restaurant with plates not knowing which table it should go to. When at some point we saw that it was most likely our order, we called the service to prevent the food from disappearing into the kitchen. The food (bread with carpaccio/pesto) was unfortunately also disappointing. The carpaccio was ice cold and watery; it had no taste. In short, overall this time unfortunately a disappointment.

Een smakelijke lunch genoten. We waren welkom met hondje. De bediening is erg vriendelijk en snel. Genoeg keuze op de kaart. En de locatie is voorzien van leuke beschildering.

Erwtensoep met roggebrood en katenspek bleek een waterig groentesoepje zonder vlees of worst. Het roggebrood mét katenspek was vervangen door een snee brood met knoflooksaus. Waardeloos Leuk restaurant voor een drankje en een snackje maar qua eten ver onder de maat. Dat bleek ook wel uit het feit dat er op zaterdagavond amper 2 tafels bezet waren. Jammer van zo’n leuke zaak. Een nieuwe kok zou wonderen kunnen verrichten. Maar misschien is het daarvoor al te laat.

We had an incredibly delicious meal. A beautiful, tender steak, no tendons, on a bed of mushrooms with a delicious sauce. A lovely, tasty salad, and the fish was also good. Well worth it, and the atmosphere was lovely. I would recommend adding French fries. Thin fries, and then dip them in the sauce. Delicious. Highly recommended. We ate at De Herberg again. It's a shame the extra portion of fries cost €5, even though you have four menus. We also had to pay extra for water. A real shame, a real shame. The kitchen could be a bit more refined. The current dish is too coarse. Smaller tomatoes, cauliflower, etc. Sunday, January 7th Another delicious meal, and this time we chose the fish stew and sea bass. Delicious, very delicious, the sauce on the side was excellent, Leffe Blond was 0.0. We had a discussion about the pea soup and found a wonderful solution. It was for four people and we spent around €130. Very friendly staff. Very good! We will be back.

Goed eten, supervriendelijke bediening. We komen er iedere week om te lunchen en hebben altijd lekker gegeten. Het is mogelijk om samen te delen en je eigen bordje samen te stellen.

Tasty snacks and very friendly service. It's a pity that there is one lady walking around who "blows off" the other staff... They try so hard, this is also said to them. It's not nice that the atmosphere is so affected by this. There was really a lot of work going on with a full shop and outdoor terrace. It was busy because of the choir festival, but you have to be happy with this staff

The menu includes an egg roll with ham/cheese/bacon. Nothing else is included here. I order an egg roll with bacon. Waitress says that normally there is all three, so ham, cheese and bacon. I order with only bacon. When I paid, to my astonishment, I had to pay extra for the bacon. Fewer ingredients than stated on the menu but pay more. I did get my 1.25 back after my comment, but once and never again, unworthy of Oisterwijk because the detailing on it will save you the final served bouncer

Heb hier met mijn vriendin geluncht. Was eerst beetje sceptisch ivm een paar slechte reviews maar bleek super top! Lekker en goed eten voor een prima prijs. Prijs kwaliteit top en geen fratsen gewoon goed eten. Top!

Helaas, vroeger heel goed. Wij dachten een lekker kopje koffie te drinken en gezellig te lunchen. Eerst lang wachten voor de bediening kwam (zo druk was het niet) en dat terwijl er redelijk veel personeel liep op het terras. Bestelling koffie gedaan en gelijk gevraagd naar de lunchkaart. Koffie kwam, helaas kaart niet. Nog maar eens vragen. Helaas, bevroren carpaccio! Na veel excuses kwam er een nieuwe. Gratis drankje werd aangeboden, netjes zou je zeggen. Echter, dit drankje hebben we nooit gekregen. Afgerekend, voor ons de laatste keer! Jammer.

Very poor service, waited almost 1.5 hours for lunch. Been to the table three times with the wrong drinks. No more waiting for the 2nd round of drinks. We were tired of it.

Inattentive staff who take your drink from the table even though it is clearly not finished yet, and sit with their hands on the edge of the glass you are supposed to drink from.

Atmospheric ambiance, beautifully situated on the Lind in Oisterwijk. Delicious food, there and inside a surprising permanent exhibition about old Brabant and Oisterwijk in paintings and old photos.

Good soft benches on the terrace where you can sit comfortably ... the bouncer was sadly small but very tasty, as was the small amount of raw vegetables or garnish ... the service was not too good, it took a little too long before I got something I was able to order, then it took a little too long for the beer to arrive, which was taken away shortly afterwards because it was the wrong beer.. no excuses.. in the end the beer only came when I was already busy with the food

Saw the menu on the internet and were pleasantly surprised with the vegan options, but nothing could be further from the truth. What a mockery... Vegan is vegetarian to them!!!

The main course was spaghetti with shrimps. I was very disappointed with this dish, there was no sauce, not even the oak leaf lettuce garnish. Too bad, on the other hand, the dessert Dame Blanche deserved a big 10

I had two cappuccinos and a piece of cherry pie here after a bike ride. Traditional interior with fireplace, otherwise neat service. For those who like an interior with lots of light and large windows, this is a less good choice.

Sad because we had a funeral here.... but they handled it excellently with the beautiful snacks and drinks. They deserve a star!!

My group and I spontaneously visited this business on Friday, December 14. After the order had been taken, we had to wait more than 40 minutes for a simple dish, even after we asked if it would take long. We were 3 people and the food was all a bit lukewarm, as if it had been in the kitchen for a little too long. One of my table companions had ordered an Angus Hamburger (well done). But unfortunately it was completely raw meat and there was too much overpowering truffle mayonnaise spread on the sandwich. A last visit to this business for us. The service was slow, the bill was incorrect, one drink was added too much. Plus point: after the complaint regarding the Angus Hamurger, we did not have to pay for it. Well, my other half hadn't eaten any of it either. A small apology would have been more appropriate. But here too, good catering employees are apparently difficult to find, even in fashionable Oisterwijk.

Yesterday we went for something to eat and drink during the fair. Ordered 2 dishes from the kitchen, which were good. but also a hamburger from the grill, which was way too expensive for what you get. it's too high too much sauce and it lacked the flavor. the burgers with the mac are even tastier, and for 12.50 euros you can certainly include some fries.

Good food but little privacy because there are many tables set up. Service not always friendly. A bit sensitive to stress? Overtaken in every respect by "De Tijd"
