A truly fantastic location! With super delicious food, very friendly staff, and welcoming, hospitable owners! Definitely recommended and well worth the money! For all ages.

Had a nice lunch, but the inexperienced service made it take a long time, though they were very nice. Coffee was served without milk or sugar, cutlery was delivered too late, and after about an hour and a half, a waitress who clearly had experience started. And the terrace—I know it's autumn, but still, sweep it up in the morning, replace your torn awning, and appearance is important too. The live music is great, though.

We come here every Sunday after a nice walk in the woods and the atmosphere is always welcoming and easy-going. The staff is friendly and helpful. It has really become "our" spot.

We celebrated our annual family day at Taverne De Posthoorn. Ton had prepared everything perfectly, and the meat from caterer Frank Coppens was delicious. The service and the playground also contributed to a successful afternoon for us.

You can sit outside on a pleasant terrace. You can rent bicycles, fat bikes, and participate in a bike puzzle tour.

Beautiful and peaceful location, with a playground, friendly service, and excellent food. The surrounding area offers beautiful hiking trails.

Lunch is OK. The staff speaks broken English, which leads to the order being messed up. The accompanying mini golf course is truly awful. You have to sweep the course yourself before you can even play. There's no maintenance.

What a wonderful experience at Taverne de Posthoorn in Oisterwijk! We booked through Social Deal and were pleasantly surprised by both the location and the offerings. The tavern is situated in a beautiful, peaceful spot surrounded by greenery. Ideal for escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The location is surrounded by a wooded area perfect for walking; perfect for clearing your head and enjoying nature. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who were genuinely hospitable and helpful. We were offered a well-prepared 12-hour snack, with three different options to choose from. Everything was fresh and delicious. Dietary requirements were also taken into account, which I personally appreciate. After our walk through the woods, we returned for coffee and pastries. These were also excellent: the coffee was good quality and the pastries were fresh and homemade. A truly wonderful end to our outing. The price-quality ratio is excellent, especially through Social Deal. We felt truly welcome and relaxed. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys peace, nature, delicious food, and friendly service. We'll definitely be back!

We visit this place every now and then and normally it's quite pleasant. The location is great, lots of trees (shade), and we play some mini golf. But last week, when we returned it was quite bad. The golf course was dirty and completely overgrown. There were multiple buckets laying around the course with (I assume) mole traps. Also, the playground was not safe. While we were there the rope of a swing actually broke while a girl was swinging. The food was okay, but when washing your hands don't expect more than a drizzle. It looks like there's a lot of maintenance issues. So many that I would say: get your work done first, and open your doors later.

Not recommended. The food was still frozen and therefore not fresh. Meat was dry and the pasta for kids seems to be swimming in the tomato soup. There was a piece of plastic in the mushroom sauce that luckily I saw in time... Overall a bad experience.

We were here with a Social Deal for a three-course dinner. The food was nothing special. Choosing a round steak was not worth the extra charge. The dessert was fine. We were served kindly.

Did a puzzle tasting on Christmas Day. Very cozy and the food was very tasty. Service is nice and attentive. Definitely recommended to just have a cup of coffee.

We had an arrangement with coffee and cake and a midday break through Social Deal. We had a lunch with meat, which consisted of tomato soup, pulled chicken on bread and Burgundian croquette on bread. Was very tasty. The atmosphere inside was cozy, with quiet music in the background. Then we took a brisk walk in the immediate area.

Located in a beautiful location. During our bike ride we thought we could have a drink here. There was no card on the table to order anything. Was brought later when we asked for it. We ordered a tomato soup and 2 eggs. It went on and on. At one point a man came to us and asked if we wanted something to drink. I told him that we ordered something half an hour ago, but it hadn't arrived yet. He was going to take a look inside, he'd come right back with our bouncers. Very strange. How long had they been there??? The food tasted fine, but the service was very poor. They have absolutely no overview of what and who is sitting on the terrace, and whether everyone is catered for. By the way, we didn't see the tomato soup again. We didn't ask for it anymore, because after more than an hour we still wanted to finish our bike ride. Something went wrong at 2 other tables.

Very mediocre. The Latte (3.75 euros) was a cup of warm milk. Not tasty. Anyway, response: let's check the adjustment of the device. Point. Worthless.

Pricey for what you get. Twelve hours of meat was fine. Flammkuchen salmon quite expensive for what you get on your plate and really little salmon on it and small. Flammkuchen was soggy. Drinks also pricey. There is a playground and mini golf. Toilets clean

Een ongeorganiseerd zooitje. Tafels waren vies en werden pas zeer laat op aanraden gepoetst. Lange wachttijden. Botte bediening. Ze hebben op zeker te weinig horeca ervaring in huis. Het eten was na lang wachten best oke, maar te lang op de pas gestaan. Bestel hier vooral geen gebakken ei. Na al die seizoenen met de nieuwe eigenaar mag er best nog enkele tandjes worden opgeschroeft. Lokalen en dus bekenden de voorkeur geven boven anderen is niet het juiste. Iedere klant is Koning(in). Leer van de kritiek en schuif ze niet weg. Een 1e indruk is goud maar als je daarna zelfs ook een herkansing verknalt, dan is het klaar. Maak een rondje Oisterwijk en kijk hoe het WEL moet.

Vanavond met gezelschap van 9 personen waaronder 3 kleine kinderen gedineerd. Het eten was heerlijk en de bediening was erg vriendelijk en attent. De kinderen hebben zich goed vermaakt in de speeltuin en wij genoten daarvan op het terras. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

We wanted to order a drink after the bike ride: it is no longer served after 5 p.m. Beer list on the table without prices. When you then pay for your Liefmans 0.0 beer, you feel a bit cheated: One x Bottle of 0.0% of 25cl for EU 5.20..

Took way too long, already 2 hours of waiting and still no main course... got the wrong starter! Takes way too long and some of the staff are not efficient, everything could be much better pooh pooh not worth the money!!!!

Good food, nice presentation and affordable. Have eaten here a few times since the beginning and the quality has increased enormously, but the prices have not. When the weather is good, relax on the terrace and in winter there is a cozy fire.

We held our annual family day here. The food was super good. Due to a lack of staff, the service was not alert. Too bad, you can still earn the most money with this. The location was great. Also for the smallest ones there is a playground and for the slightly larger ones there is the option of mini golf. We had a nice day. Thanks again.

We were disappointed with our visit to the Posthoorn. In summary: mini golf dated and poorly maintained. Club Sandwich with stale bread Brie sandwich with 2 very scant slices of brie. Even though it wasn't busy at all when we were there, it took a very long time for drinks to be served. The playground was absolutely fine.

hier vanavond gegeten....voorgerecht carpaccio ging wel vissoep was lauw met grote graten erin....daarna na het echt overdreven lange wachten ons hoofdgerecht...gamba's in look....was één vettige oliezooi zonder enige smaak van knoflook! de kipnuggets gingen wel frietjes koud.... eens maar nooit weer!

Wonderful place to rest after a walk or bike ride! Very friendly service. Food was perfect too! Nice playground for the little ones, or mini golf. The restaurant has a nice and cozy appearance. The only personal downside: we were avoiding the crowds and music in the center on King's Day, but there also turned out to be a live singer on the terrace. That really wasn't necessary for me. Anyway, we were almost about to leave when he started.

What a location. In the Oisterwijk forests. With a wonderful play area on your doorstep. Includes a sandbox for the little ones. The miniature golf is also a success. The Easter buffet is....extensive, diverse and tasty. There really is something for every taste. Starter/main/desserts. Both hot and cold. Pleasant attentive service in a friendly atmosphere.

Nicely located place quite close to the Kampina. Nice playground with mini golf course, especially for older children (4+). It does lack some atmosphere, and it is a bit of a mess in terms of maintenance/appearance. Too bad, because space has more potential.
