We have eaten here a few times now and it is great every time. The food is delicious and the service is friendly. They did charge for mayonnaise twice but only served it once. But we forgive them for that (we deducted it from the tip 😉)

Way too busy, causing the quality of the food to deteriorate. We ate with 17 people; 2 orders were wrong. The steak was poorly cooked, the fries were cold, and the satay was cold!! The mayonnaise wasn't mayonnaise, but something completely different!! The satay was replaced due to an earlier mistake that had been made, so 2 people got their food later! And the second one was also cold. And the richly filled tomato soup wasn't filled at all! In short, we are never going again!!!

The food was delicious. My wife had cauliflower kibbeling and salmon for main courses, I had the dumplings and a meat duo. I think the dumplings were supposed to be with soy sauce, but mine were with mayonnaise, garlic, or something. Just scraped it off. Not a mayo eater. The desserts were tasty too. Definitely going to eat there again.

Sitting here for a bit after yesterday's street fair. As residents of Almere, we are surprised by the entire atmosphere. Unprecedentedly good service and delicious food. It was very busy, and yet to achieve this performance is unprecedented. We will definitely come back here again (even without the street fair).

We actually ended up here by chance, but what a lovely discovery! The terrace is beautifully decorated with flowers and has a very cozy yet quiet atmosphere (around lunchtime). The service was prompt and the waitresses were incredibly nice. The food was delicious too. As a pescetarian, I chose the salad with goat cheese and salmon. It was fresh, healthy, and high in protein, without heavy or greasy dressing. My partner had the pulled chicken and was very enthusiastic about it as well. As far as I can remember, there were about four or five vegetarian options on the menu. Some dishes could be made vegetarian, and there was also a vegan option. So there is certainly plenty of choice. The value for money is excellent. A truly lovely place to sit quietly and enjoy a good meal. Highly recommended!

Lovely Dutch (pub) music in a restaurant. You don't hear that often! The service is very friendly, good, and moves at a good pace. The food is delicious and the restaurant is very beautiful. We were here for the first time last year because of the annual fair, and so again this year. So I say, see you next year.

We have been here multiple times for dinner in the last 3 years. Mostly in spring and summer time. Nice terras and a good atmosphere. Nice food. The full meal salads are great! We will visit again :).

We sat on the terrace here and enjoyed the super good food. We had a number of starters for two. Truffle carpaccio, shrimp croquettes, mushroom stew, and loaded fries chicken were so incredibly good!! The pastry chef's ice cream dessert was also really delicious…. Also full of praise for the service: hard workers, professional, friendly, and efficient! Keep up the good work with your super restaurant!! Had another delicious lunch on July 3, 2026!! Something a bit different this time. The salad by the sea and a delicious hamburger! The salad was truly a meal-sized salad! You really get more than enough here…. Top chefs and service!

We have eaten here quite often. It was always tasty! The beef tenderloin tips with teriyaki are delicious; this time I had the carpaccio salad, which was a huge mistake: a whole bag of mixed lettuce from the supermarket, topped with the carpaccio, halved tomatoes, and some olives. Sprinkled with some cheese. The lettuce was coarse and undressed: no dressing or herbs, or anything else. There was also a ridiculous amount of lettuce. A real disgrace. The dessert: limoncello ice cream, was delicious again!

Top top, we had a wonderful time sitting and eating.

Great location, nice, efficient service, clear menu, but the food is top quality, yet too expensive for the quantity, it is very meager, and you can enjoy a nice undisturbed drink afterwards.

If the chef calls you in advance to discuss what kind of vegan dessert you would like, you earn bonus points!

Good food and beautiful ambiance with a lovely terrace

Arrived early on spec as a group of 10 speaking no Dutch (random group of English and Mexicans) Which is lucky as it was pretty busy by the time we left. Large portions, tasty food. Salads were substantial with the main ingredients. All left full. Good value for the portion size and quality. Friendly and efficient service.

It was delicious for me. However, we weren't asked how the beef tenderloin skewers should be cooked. My dining companion's skewer was simply too raw to eat. When the table was cleared, the wait staff confirmed this when they saw it lying on the plate. It just wasn't right. We ordered coffee and cake afterwards. In my view, a nice opportunity to make up for it a bit, but this was not done.

We were overall very satisfied with our visit. The appetizers were especially impressive, we tried almost all of them and every single one was delicious. The main courses were also excellent and did not disappoint. Unfortunately, the desserts were a letdown and did not match the quality of the rest of the menu. Overall, still a very good restaurant with great potential, we would be happy to come back

The place is great and the staff is fantastic. I work as a delivery driver at IKEA. I parked my car and waited for a cup of coffee. I hadn't noticed where the door was. A staff member greeted me very politely and showed me the way in. The staff is very respectful.

We were in a room for our company's New Year's reception.

I ate spareribs at the village room, but I was disappointed. Of the 3 pieces, only 1 was tender and the meat on the other 2 was really stuck to the bone, which is not what I'm used to at the village room. The dessert was also too little for the price. I had a pastry ice cream for 9.50.

Enjoy a nice, relaxed lunch without having someone at your table every 5 minutes asking "Would you like another drink?"

The service is fantastic; you just have to look at a staff member and they'll help you. The food is also fantastic, and the prices are very reasonable! Leave a generous tip for the waitstaff!

Really great, only one downside is that they don't have coffee or tea, etc. on the menu, but they do have them, so that's why it's an 8 or 9.5. The food was also very tasty.

We had arranged to meet seven of our workmates. We had a round table, and it was fantastic. There was game on the menu, and I chose venison steak. An excellent choice. (My wife thinks it's "sad," but she wasn't there.)

Upon arrival, we weren't greeted as staff walked by, so we had to wait a long time. After asking, we had to call someone else to take our order. We ordered, but waited a long time again, only to be told, after an apology for the wait, that there was no mulled wine because it wasn't wintery enough yet. So we left again.

The two of us sat down here for a late, light lunch. The service was very fast, the staff very friendly, and the food was good. The terrace was inviting and heated with heaters and patio heaters. All in all, a great place to relax for a drink and a snack.

This is a great spot in Ermelo. For an extensive but not too exciting menu, you've come to the right place. Everything on it tastes good and is presented beautifully. The staff is generally very friendly, and you're served quickly. The location is beautiful, and if you sit outside, you have a lovely view of the busy road. Definitely recommended!

A nice restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. Large. Friendly service. Nice place. The kitchen is unreliable. I indicated in advance that I had a life-threatening allergy. I was still served a dish that was fried in oil that had contained the allergen. It was exchanged after further inquiries, but if I hadn't asked twice, it could have ended badly: It was truly disrespectful and reckless to people with allergies. Did the kitchen have any idea that this oversight could have been fatal? The food was tasty, but everything was overly fatty. Perhaps it's a good idea to review the limits of fat and sauce use. There are no options for lactose intolerance. Even sorbet, according to the allergy list, contains milk. Some dishes labeled as vegetarian actually contained salmon. I recommend the kitchen learn to consider allergies and pay attention to what is vegetarian. Wine is cheap in terms of taste and quality. This could also be improved. There are certainly great liquor stores in Ermelo.

A very large and cozy coffee shop and restaurant. A partially covered and heated terrace. The coffee (and a cookie) tasted good, and the service was friendly.

We ate there for two days in the heart of Ermelo. Delicious food, great service, and even the outdoor terrace was pleasantly warm.

Service was good. She was friendly and willing to speak english but tryed to take Orders before handing out the menu. The food was tasty but the portions way to small and pricie. Even for a normal sized portion the costs would be high but the burger was just meat and bread. The Bread was also hard and dry. There were two lonely pieces of salad and some chopped tomatoes no sides and bearly any sauce.

Almost always busy. Even on this Wednesday evening. And the reason is clear: a cozy place both inside and on the patio, fast and friendly service, and, importantly, excellent food.
