Really great, only one downside is that they don't have coffee or tea, etc. on the menu, but they do have them, so that's why it's an 8 or 9.5. The food was also very tasty.

We had arranged to meet seven of our workmates. We had a round table, and it was fantastic. There was game on the menu, and I chose venison steak. An excellent choice. (My wife thinks it's "sad," but she wasn't there.)

Upon arrival, we weren't greeted as staff walked by, so we had to wait a long time. After asking, we had to call someone else to take our order. We ordered, but waited a long time again, only to be told, after an apology for the wait, that there was no mulled wine because it wasn't wintery enough yet. So we left again.

Two days of delicious food at Dorpskamer Ermelo...super tasty food, very hospitable and friendly staff, and a charming restaurant. Highly recommended...thank you, staff...

The food was delicious. Despite being quite busy, the service was quick. The price was also excellent.

The two of us sat down here for a late, light lunch. The service was very fast, the staff very friendly, and the food was good. The terrace was inviting and heated with heaters and patio heaters. All in all, a great place to relax for a drink and a snack.

We had a wonderful time on the terrace and the food was fantastic. We had a few appetizers for the two of us. Truffle carpaccio, shrimp croquettes, a pan of mushrooms, and loaded chicken fries—so incredibly good!! The pastry ice cream dessert was also truly delicious... I also have high praise for the service: hardworking, professional, friendly, and fast! Keep up the great work with your fantastic restaurant!!

This is a great spot in Ermelo. For an extensive but not too exciting menu, you've come to the right place. Everything on it tastes good and is presented beautifully. The staff is generally very friendly, and you're served quickly. The location is beautiful, and if you sit outside, you have a lovely view of the busy road. Definitely recommended!

A nice restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. Large. Friendly service. Nice place. The kitchen is unreliable. I indicated in advance that I had a life-threatening allergy. I was still served a dish that was fried in oil that had contained the allergen. It was exchanged after further inquiries, but if I hadn't asked twice, it could have ended badly: It was truly disrespectful and reckless to people with allergies. Did the kitchen have any idea that this oversight could have been fatal? The food was tasty, but everything was overly fatty. Perhaps it's a good idea to review the limits of fat and sauce use. There are no options for lactose intolerance. Even sorbet, according to the allergy list, contains milk. Some dishes labeled as vegetarian actually contained salmon. I recommend the kitchen learn to consider allergies and pay attention to what is vegetarian. Wine is cheap in terms of taste and quality. This could also be improved. There are certainly great liquor stores in Ermelo.

A very large and cozy coffee shop and restaurant. A partially covered and heated terrace. The coffee (and a cookie) tasted good, and the service was friendly.

Pleasant service and nice food.

We ate there for two days in the heart of Ermelo. Delicious food, great service, and even the outdoor terrace was pleasantly warm.

Service was good. She was friendly and willing to speak english but tryed to take Orders before handing out the menu. The food was tasty but the portions way to small and pricie. Even for a normal sized portion the costs would be high but the burger was just meat and bread. The Bread was also hard and dry. There were two lonely pieces of salad and some chopped tomatoes no sides and bearly any sauce.

Almost always busy. Even on this Wednesday evening. And the reason is clear: a cozy place both inside and on the patio, fast and friendly service, and, importantly, excellent food.

Enjoyed a lunchtime smorgasbord between 7 of us in a private area. Very enjoyable

I had lunch here this afternoon and opted for a tenderloin sandwich and a chicken club sandwich. The flavors were excellent, and I can highly recommend the tenderloin sandwich. What was striking was that if you want to omit an ingredient, you can, but if you want something else in its place—regardless of what—it's not possible. Even adding a little extra of the existing ingredients isn't allowed. The server said they would ask if they could add something extra instead of the ingredient I didn't want, but they never mentioned it. When the sandwich arrived and I asked, the server seemed clueless. I couldn't continue asking, as he had to rush off. The service was otherwise friendly and correct, but also very hasty, which made you feel a bit rushed. The loaded fries were unfortunately disappointing. They were very greasy, probably from old frying oil. They were dark, and the potato texture had disappeared. The grated Parmesan cheese had an odd color and taste. It also had arugula on it, which in my opinion is just a cheap filler. Finely chopped spring onions would add much more flavor and are also inexpensive. The location is absolutely fantastic. As a restaurant or as a guest, you could hardly ask for better. However, the tables are so close together that you literally sit right up against the other guests. We had to move the table ourselves just to be able to sit down.

We've eaten here a few times now. It's always busy, so reservations are recommended. There's plenty of room. The food is truly delicious. Appetizers to share or you can create your own dishes. Lots of variety on the menu and delicious cocktails. The service is truly excellent. Everyone is helpful and friendly. They're attentive, and no one just walks past you. A truly great place. For lunch, dinner, or just a pastry and coffee, everything is here. A truly wonderful place.

You can sit comfortably on the terrace here. We had a delicious meal during the summer fair. We'll definitely be back.

Simply fantastic. What a huge restaurant! It was even packed on a Saturday night, and yet we still managed to get a spot (albeit outside, but under a heater). Fantastic! Food: delicious, generous portions. Conveniently central, so there's a lot to see. Highly recommended.

A really nice place if you are in Ermelo.

We came across this restaurant on a bike ride. The food was beyond delicious. The spare ribs were very tender and fell off the bone, the vegan burger was incredibly tasty, and the chicken salad was also fantastic. It speaks volumes about this restaurant that, despite its size and busyness, the food is of excellent quality. Since we were so impressed with the main courses, we finished off with two different desserts. These were also delicious. The outdoor area was busy the entire time, but the service was always friendly, fast, and on the ball! If we're in the area again, we'd definitely come back. We highly recommend it to everyone!

July 2025. It was street market night and incredibly busy. We still managed to get a table outside. We had a hamburger and warm chicken salad, and they were delicious. The service was fast and friendly, and the staff were smartly dressed in black and white. Reasonable prices. One comment: the fries could be better. They seemed to be from the Albert Heijn store brand.

Het terras was zo goed als vol, maar gelukkig kwam er net een tafeltje vrij. De tafel werd snel schoongemaakt en de drankjes werden vlot opgenomen door een vriendelijke jongedame. Naast de normale kaart waren er ook nog wat specialiteiten. We kozen voor de Gamba salade; een verrassende combinatie met onder andere kaas, ham en groene asperges. Het smaakte prima. De bediening was vlot en vriendelijk. Zeker een aanrader.

Highly recommended! We had a delicious meal here tonight, and we were all completely satisfied. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere was great, despite the crowds and the busy street next door. We had the mustard soup and mushrooms (vegetarian version, which we shared) as a starter, and the main course was mussels, salmon fillet, and the vegetarian cauliflower dish. The portions were generous, but they tasted amazing! And the dessert was shared between the three of us, haha... the pastry ice cream, a very successful ending! Absolutely recommended!

We asked to share a salad, and they brought two bowls. It was really filling, and it was delicious. Thank you.

A truly wonderful experience and a delicious meal. It's a shame it's located on such a busy intersection. But the surroundings make up for it.

In my opinion one of the best restaurants in Ermelo. The food is always good. The service is good. The cocktails are great. A beautiful terrace and an even more beautiful decoration of the restaurant inside.

Beautiful place, cozy and good food, something for everyone.

Half of the food was not tasty, other half was cold. Mai tai was also not tasty. Staff was nice. Tip: add some almond flour to the minced meat for the vegan burger, then it is not so wet. The whole burger fell apart. Cauliflower with curry was tasty but unfortunately cold. Tomato soup had so much sugar in it that it was a Chinese tomato soup. (Cauliflower was listed as kloekool on the menu)

We had lunch and again we ate delicious food.

This review is based on a high tea. I have been here several times to dine and it has always been good, so I had high expectations for the high tea. Unfortunately, this was very disappointing. The service was unfriendly and everything you asked was seen as a nuisance. We did not feel welcome at all. The food itself was good, but the high tea was meager. With a nut allergy, they simply left out a part (for everyone) and had done a bit more of the rest, but that was not much. So very limited and very poor service.

I have been here before and I am always amazed by the cozy spaces while they really have a lot of places. Besides the fact that they can receive a lot of people, the service is also very good and even with large groups you get served right away. The food is also great and on Thursdays the cocktails are well priced. Really recommended

Op onze fietstochtjes de afgelopen week met verschillende stellen deze gelegenheid 3 maal bezocht, in dus vrij korte tijd Wij hebben hierdoor jammer genoeg wisselende ervaringen opgedaan. Zeker de laatste keer werden wij minder gastvrij ontvangen dan de vorige twee keer Werden meer “ weggekeken” ( herhaalde malen vragen of wij nog iets wilde drinken terwijl wij net de glazen leeg hadden) mogelijk te maken met het feit dat er geen duidelijke toewijzing is wie bedient welke tafels , is mijn indruk Wij zullen hen nog een kans geven komende week om te ervaren of dit eenmalig is geweest

Food and drinks were great. Too bad that after the main course was brought, they didn't ask if we wanted something to drink and after 20 minutes without a drink, no one had come by. Eventually ordered inside while we were sitting on the terrace. After it was said that it would take a long time, no apologies were offered and they weren't enthusiastic about us anymore. Very unfortunate...

Smooth service and good atmosphere

With a group of eight friends, we spontaneously came to the Dorpskamer on that lovely sunny afternoon in May and we were happy that there was still a beautiful place for us in the shade on the spacious terrace. We were allowed to flexibly move some small tables into one large table and enjoyed the delicious non-alcoholic cocktails with exciting names! Then we spontaneously decided to stay for dinner and we were surprised that despite the crowds our food was served at the same time and it all tasted equally good, great. The vegetarian celeriac steak was also a hit and what a hospitality service to refill the fries and salad with delicious dressing free of charge when the bowls were empty. To conclude, a tasty coffee with a small liqueur with whipped cream, everything increased our festive spirit (with a birthday boy in our midst!). The bill wasn't too bad, especially considering what we had and everything was of high quality. Highly recommended and worth repeating for us. Thank you, thank you!
